World Jewels worked TIRELESSLY throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, with their shops closed, and deadlines unknown, to keep me apprised of the status of a custom made ring without a center stone (I had my own I wanted to place in the center). I had placed the order just days before the pandemic was declared in March 2020 and chaos followed. Allen was in touch with me constantly from the time the governments shut down non-essential businesses, to the re-openings, to the re-closings, to the final manufacture and shipment of my ring during a time when even shipping was delayed or shut down.

The first round was not exactly what I had in mind, and Allen worked with me to more completely understand and communicate my specific demands to manufacture without argument or additional cost. Finally, after many months of unexpected nationwide delays due to the pandemic, and my miscommunication about exactly what I had in mind my ring arrived. Perfectly.

I had my own center stone to mount, and had given Allen the precise dimensions of my existing center stone. He manufactured the mount to accommodate the stone and to exclude unnecessary bench jeweler up-charges for materials. When I took the ring in to the local bench jeweler to mount the center stone, he asked why I hadn t had the ring created there, locally, at his shop I showed him the ring and asked if he d have done that for the price I paid? He emphatically shook his head, and said there was NO WAY he d have been able to do it for THAT price. I mentioned that I wasn t particularly educated about the quality of the side stones, and that perhaps their quality was reflected in the price? The jeweler carefully examined the side stones and commented that they were indeed good quality, and reiterated that there is no way he d have done the work, with those materials, at that price.

I am delighted beyond words with my experience with World Jewels. I realize buying online is a scary proposition for most; handing over money to a stranger with end results unknown and fraught with uncertainty, across state lines with no knowledge of legal recourse- just a wing and a prayer. Allen knows this is what customers are experiencing and handled each of our communications as if I were The Most Important and The Only Customer he had to handle. I realize others have had a less than satisfactory experience, and I just cannot imagine how given every obstacle that was dropped in my path on the way to getting this ring made and shipped to my satisfaction under the conditions that the nation was experiencing from March to now I just cannot fathom how World Jewels could have possibly handled it any better than they did - and I certainly expected the worst. So I ordered an engagement ring and a band to go with it. They took forever to ship them and then shipped them separately. The engagement ring was as expected except that it was a little big. But not thier fault since I ordered it a half size too big. Then I finally received the wedding band and it is over two sizes bigger than the engagement ring! Now this was thier fault so I write and tell them about their mistakes he says no problem send it back and we'll make it right. So since I'm having it sent back I ask can he make some small adjustments like soldering them together and adding sizing dots. He says sure. So after 3 MONTHS!!!!!!! Of waiting and him not responding to my numerous emails text messages and phone calls. I finally receive my rings back. Nothing is right. The wedding band is still 2 sizes bigger and he did not solder them together and he changed the look of my engagement ring without okaying it with me by removing some of the diamonds and changing the texture of it. What the heck! I would advise you to run as far and as fast as you can from this ' company '. Thier website may look professional but thier service is anything but. I do believe it is a very tiny business run by about three very unprofessional people. Every time I called I spoke to the same two people. So yeah run run run from world jewels.....

The customer service team is completely unresponsive. I submitted an application for financing and they accepted and approved me but failed to communicate the EFT information to the credit agency. Come to find, they amount I specified in my application was never deducted from my account. I emailed them because I noticed nothing had posted.. no response. I incurred fees from the creditor HC Credit which is HORRIBLE to deal with. I sent them a letter documenting my attempts to ensure my credit application was complete and their response was "these issues are between you and world jewels." Unbelievable.

The guys at World Jewels have been so helpful. They have great quality diamonds that are absolutely stunning and beautiful. Great selection of pieces, great service and great prices! Very impressed and happy. I'll definitely be coming back.

I could not give you a review on the ring... because it has been a month and no ring. I finally got through today after an email and several calls (left messages) and the guy said it would ship today. I have read other reviews that say when they say it will ship it is BS, but I'm hoping that's not the case. We ordered Feb. 1st and this was supposed to be an anniversary/valentines day gift from hubby (married V-day) so it was a bummer for me to give him his big lovely gift while we were both checking the mail only to be disappointed every time. I wont be making another purchase simply based on the fact that NO disclaimer was provided regarding delay and no explanation was given. When we purchased there were big red letters saying "in time for Valentines Day" ... yeah... not so much. Pretty big let down, I am hoping the beauty of the ring makes up for it. We will see. UPDATE... After several more calls and promises it would be sent THAT DAY, my ring arrived 2/29/16 (order date 2/1/16.) I guarantee it only arrived because of my persistence. THIS WAS THE MOST ANTI-CLIMATIC PURCHASE EXPERIENCE EVER. The aquamarine ring arrived and it is beautiful, and I would otherwise be super happy with the quality... but ... the large side stone on each side... EMPTY HOLES. There was no mention of adding stones and I cant even see my beautiful birthstone because the holes look so ridiculous. I am reducing my review from 2 stars to one. Be straight with the client... I would have paid to add the stones... BUT FREAKING TELL ME SO I CAN END THIS EXPERIENCE AND MOVE ON. I am really disappointed... all this coming from an eternal optimist who is easily pleased and rarely ever leaves a bad review. I would say, if you are unsure if poor reviewers are just being picky... NOPE. I found every negative comment that I dismissed to be 100% true. This is not a way to make or keep customers. I was prepared to be happy. Fail.

They did a great job on my wife s wedding band and engagement ring. The owner himself kept in contact with us since it was a custom request, he was very attentive, had great communication skills, the end product was flawless. Will definitely recommend them for any of jewelry needs.
