Absolutely beautiful Symphony Hall, loved the baroque style. Acoustics very good.
Very enjoyable atmosphere, great music quality. Great place my room with view Monday through Friday.
Love it everytime! One of the best features and experiences of our amazing city. Our musicians are of the best in the nation and they impress every time!!
Great venue. Seats were comfortable. I didn't feel squeezed in like an airplane chair like the seats over at the Civic theater.
This place has perfect acoustics. Any seat is guaranteed to be enjoyable.
The venue is amazing, the conductor was entertaining, and it was an amazing time had by all.
Beautiful venue hidden inside downtown San Diego. Didn't know this type of space was here for people to enjoy.
Beautiful theatre, beautiful sounds, beautiful experience!! Don't miss it!
Excellent performance; informative, intriguing, fun !!
I was rudely interrupted by a worker while i was communicated to my husband thru texting & she didn't understand the importance of my family. I didn't like that while there were other ppl texting & taking pictures. Why did she pick me only? Was it because I was the only minority among the audience? We were there to support my son who was in the concert.
Copley Symphony Hall is an old, beautiful place. The seats could stand to be replaced ... or not.
When it come to the arts; music is at the top. Close your eyes and sit back. The San Diego Orchestra is worth seeing.
I saw Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban accompanied by the San Diego Orchestra. They were so good that at times I almost forgot they were playing, it sounded exactly like the score from the movie. I am in awe of all the members of the orchestra and their amazing talent. Can't wait for the next one!!!
Really enjoyed celebrating the Chinese New Year at Symphony Hall this evening.
We was here on Harry Potter night and it was one of the best experience ever. Amazing movie, amazing music, amazing vibe of magic! Thank you for this kind of event! I will come back again, for sure!
Lovely venue, comfortable seats, and weird/almost-unpleasant interactions with staff (for me) every time. I do enjoy the shows though.
Last time, I noticed they have this setup where you can prepay for your beverages and then pick them up during intermissions in order to minimize backups, so that's very cool.
This is my favourite concert hall in San Diego. Beautiful, comfortable and with very good acoustics. The Orchestra and Mezzanine seats are both great. My preference goes to center or center-left seats, especially in the case of piano concerts. In last week's concert, the pianist Lang-Lang was displayed in a big screen above the stage. If you seat far behind (last rows of the orchestra or mezzanine, and balcony), you might want to take a small, lightweight, set of binoculars with you. It is great to see that the offer and quality of cultural events keeps improving here in San Diego.
Nice but older theatre. Plastic cups with lids and straws for alcohol beverages were tacky I felt.
Great architecture and seating. Very comfortable and elegant.
I love going to the Symphony. It is excellent! I have had a great time every time. Not really a bad seat anywhere.
Some of the most talented musicians I've met. It is always a pleasure to listen their performance, especially with Payare entering the scene.
SDSO is a world class symphony, and we are lucky to have every one of their musicians in San Diego. The hall is always packed, the audience is always having standing ovation, old or young. Family concerts are just amazing for people with kids. Jacob's masterworks always have a great selection of classical repertoire masterfully performed. Support your local symphony, San Diego. This is a treasure many of us don't know we have in our backyard. SDSO also needs our support.
Most spectacular performance the orchestra had done!! Bravo!
Beautiful hall in a great location. I had a blast here and it was my first time going. Highly recommend seeing concerts here!
Came to see the movie concert series. We watched Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban with the SD symphony playing the soundtrack live. The staff were helpful and so friendly, and the symphony was OUTSTANDING!
Experienced a great Valentine's day concert featuring Norm Lewis. A great venue and great row 2 seats.
Very well organized with convenient restroom and a visual and acoustic marvel!!
No one was playing ..but got a tour of the place....place is haunted....Ohhhh yeah...this place was built in 1929...awesome decor...want to see the symphony play
It's a very nice, historic room in the center of the city of San Diego!
You MUST go to the symphony! Beautiful works and beautiful theater.
The San Diego Symphony is amazing and full of talented musicians. I have been to many of their performances and I am never disappointed. Copley Hall is a beautiful architectural marvel. Parking is a pain but there is underground parking right next to the hall that I recommend.
Elegant old Hall, classy audience, with fine music by the SD Symphony. Lovely evening.
Always a great time. The SD symphony knows how to attract talent. Their summer pops series by the bay is a must at least once for every SD resident. Reasonably priced tickets, and not a really bad seat in the house.
Great performance of Beethoven's 9th in a great venue.
the show lasted about 2 hours it was beautiful.. Dont arrive later or take to long on intermission because they wont let u back in until next opening.
The place si amazing! I come for listen a concert of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses, and it was amazing! The sound of the theater is one of the most impressive that I ever ear :).
Went to see Aziz Ansari live. It's a gorgeous venue with great sightlines.
Beautiful and heart-filling. We are so blessed to have this symphony.
Secure the covered parking in the copley hall building through spot hero and walk closer to the entrance. The Hungarian ballet and concert on New Years Day is great. If you park even one block away you gotta pass too many street people who stink.
Solid orchestra. Challenging season with various guest conductors as they search for a new music director. Happy with my decision to get season tickets.
Fantastic hall, and the orchestra sounds great. All of the extra decorative pieces really add to the ambiance.
Great venue!!! Went to see Jo koy and it was well organized and clean.
The best place to be at a concert in San Diego, always.
Truly amazing performance by Kelli O'Hara, Matthew Morrison, and the San Diego Symphony...in our beautiful and historic Symphony Hall!
Theme-star wars musical.great crowd showed up.from age3 to 90.staff was nice and strict.enjoyed working with security(staff pro/east tech security.u guys r great.
Both the orchestra and the new Music Director Designate did a fabulous job with this program of Benjamin Britten and Dmitri Shostakovich. San Diego is indeed blessed to have a top-notch symphony led by one of classical music's rising stars And the hall, although it was originally a movie theater from a hundred years or so ago, has surprisingly good acoustics. We sat in the back of the main floor and could hear all of the instruments clearly and in good balance.
I enjoy the beautiful classical music of all different composers and Symphony Hall is awesome the sound is amazing and I always enjoy the comfort and the Elegance of being at the Copley Symphony Hall
Beautiful place where you can watch live classical music
Loved it!! I went with my 9 year old son, we enjoyed it soooooo much.
