San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina Review

Beautiful views, pool is incredible. It can be a little windy and chilly by the outside bar which is surprising, so dress appropriately. Had lunch there when I arrived. Food was very good...mini beef tacos, ahi tuna appetizer and a margarita, but total was $50! A little on the pricey side especially due to small portions. However, still this place and hope to come back when I can enjoy it, not just for business.

Fantastic hotel! Great views, comfortable beds, great layout. The common area with the fire pits and pools is simply magnificent. It makes your stay much more of a vacation than a simple hotel room!

I wish I lived closer. They have a really cool bar with a cool vibe. I love when my friend comes to visit and stays here for work! Great views from the rooms!

Good hotel but OUTRAGEOUS Parking fee 35$ per day. Had I known it I would have reserved a different hotel.

This hotel is nothing short of amazing to the eye and spirit. From the the curbside service to housekeeping the staff is friendly and very helpful to your wants and needs. This hotel is very big yet you don't feel lost in it. There are amazing views from one end of the hotel. All the way to the other end. I was overwhelmed at just how affordable for all the amenities that come with a stay. Loved it from hello to good bye no I mean see you next time .

My family and I had a remarkable experience in this hotel. The kids enjoyed playing their playground and swimming in the pool. I thanked your staves for being so courteous and accommodating. We will stay at this hotel again and again! Very strongly recommended to everyone! Cheers for your success, guys!

Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful. Poolside is fantastic!! Rooms are nice with great views. Food is pricey but delicious. Great beer selection. And you must visit Phyllis in the lounge, such a sweet and kind lady.

The staff is exceptional, facilities top notch and location is fabulous. We have been coming to this facility since September of 1985, before it was even a Marriott. That's 31 years, a good start!

Nice place, nice service, nice doorman and nice valets

Hotel is conveniently located near the water and Seaport Village. Room is clean, and a good size with a great view of the marina. Hotel restaurant is surprisingly very good.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Also not the most expensive but close...I payed $500 per night and couldn't even get room service to get my order correct without waiting 3 hours and multiple attempts. Also the computer didn't allow me to order a movie and the front desk supposedly super smart person said he needed to send an engineer up to my room meaning he was a complete idiot but also he said it would be in 15 minutes after 30 minutes I called back and he said another 20 minutes...All kinds of customer service ridiculousness at this hotel and would not even recommend eating breakfast here as the service in that area is bad also.

Just had drinks from the bar. Busy - there for a conference. Service not bad. Beautiful hotel. Nice pool area, right in the water.

The hotel is great, just wish the sound from rooms above didn't carry so well (kids jumping around) and the spa was truly a spa and not just a "wellness center".

Staff was awesome. They fulfilled all of our requests quickly and were very responsive. The views from the 19th floor were spectacular. His is a very nice hotel to stay at if you're willing to spend a few extra bucks.

Friendly dven staff. The event rooms were well labled and easy to find worth signed!

Service is fantastic, the accompanying app works great especially withy the keyless entry. Just know you need the key for the elevator to go up to your room. Lydia at the bar downstairs could make an ad-hoc hot toddy on a cool day which made for a wonderful treat.

Beautiful location and an easy drive from the airport. Excellent hotel facilities, pool, restaurants, and family friendly. Great spot to make "home base" as you explore the San Diego area.

I just attended a professional event there but this place is very beautiful, well located and with many amenities. It's also very close to downtown so there is plenty to do around. Make no mistake, it's pricey, but that is the level you can expect in such location.

Very nice room & location. Parking deck is very tight. Had to pay a $25 resort fee that included a few nice perks, but still annoying. Pool was decent. Concierge breakfast was better kept & managed but more annoying compared to other Marriott's because of how many guests the hotel had.

Staying over Christmas. This place is very attentive to our needs. Super friendly staff, Starbucks in house and the outdoors is like Hawaii. Heated pool and great views!

Great location. Asked for a two bed but only had one with sofa bed the first night. Room was nice. We had elite status. Asked for a 2 bed next day and got moved to the other tower for a 2 bed room that had the smallest bathroom I've ever seen. Parking is expensive and confusing. There was a sign that said lot full despite the lot not being full. 5$ for water in lobby area. Granted it was a wierdly cold day in San Diego but thr hotel pool was struggling to stay temperature regulated.

Great pool, views, and close to the airport. Also just 2 miles from Balboa Park. Overall, very pleased.

Beautiful, top quality hotel, but no free wifi? No free breakfast? $4 bottles of soda? Rooms range from $1,200 - $10,00 suites? A lil much. Glad we had a discount on the room & didn't have to buy a meal there, BUT the staff is awesome, the pool area is to die for & the view..... WOW!!

Really nice hotel and great location. You can walk to the waterfront, Petco Park, the zoo, and lots of nearby restaurants.

Washrooms and staff were of great service to the public during comic con.

Rooms facing the marina have a nice view but the bathroom needs to be repainted as the walls are peeling. The WiFi is very slow unless you purchase the upgraded WiFi package. I will give this hotel a pass the next time I m in San Diego.

The location is wonderful. It's right on the marina, and within 5 minutes walk to shops and restaurants. All the staff I've interacted with have be courteous and helpful. The room is clean, and has a nice view. The pool is wonderful, and the whole grounds are beautiful.

Large, beautiful hotel. Very nice pool area and nice selection of quick convenient food at the hotel. Only complaint is flat lumpy pillows.

Rooms are clean and spacious, facilities clean and plenty of them. Food and drink quite pricey but good quality. You have to join the rewards scheme to get wifi access or pay a huge daily charge.

This is easily one of the nicest hotels I have had the pleasure of staying at. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is outstanding. The rooms are clean and most offer great views. I highly recommend staying here.

Excellent rooms, friends staff, relatively easy to find where you're going. Only complaint is the high price of valet parking. Wowza. It was either $50/night for valet or $35/night for self park
