Car shopping at Honda World was much more laid back and enjoyable than any other car lot I've visited. They have a wide selection to choose from so I was able to look around outside of the box of what I was looking for, but also get a feel for what I really wanted. Even though my first visit or two ended in not finding exactly what I was looking for, our dealer Jordan Baisas said he would keep me in mind over the next week and he found the perfect vehicle within a few days. And when my lack of provable income from bartending kept me from getting a good interest rate, another dealer, Steve, called around the next day and helped me get an interest rate almost 5% lower. Overall I am very pleased with the vehicle, the staff and my experience and will definitely be reccomending them to friends and acquaintances in the future.

I was low on one tire. They put it on the rack immediately and found a nail, repaired the puncture and got me on the road to Indiana.
Took a ridiculous amount of time to buy out a lease. They had to keep going to the printer. It was 40 minutes before we were quoted a rate (which was very good). 3 stars for the rate but service I'm sure is better when you are buying new.
I had the express service for an oil change, tire rotation and my brakes checked out. Lynzee Rice was the service rep and communicated timely and friendly with me. Was out in less time than she quoted.

Also bought 3 new tires. How many more months could they have gotten? Probably at least through the Kentucky fall in 9 or 10 months.).
So, every female that I've ever worked with there will tell me, after it becomes obvious to them that I'm going to pick and choose for budgetary reasons, how much longer I can realistically get by. About half of the men who deal with customers there just never get to that information because they're pushing their product. That's pretty much the only complaint that I've ever had there. And I know car shops can toe this line better because I've experienced it in Frankfort. Also, and this is tiny in comparison, quit telling your customers that any rating under 5 is failure. That's just not the case and it makes the customer feel coerced into a rating that may not be inaccurate, but definitely leaves a bad taste.
Recently purchased a 2018 Honda CR-V EXL AWD from Honda World of Louisville. My salesman was Richard Thompson. This is the second Honda I've purchased from Richard and I couldn't be happier with the process. Richard is knowledgeable, unflappable, patient, professional, a great listener and an excellent advocate for his customers. Got me in the same day I called about a problem with my brakes. I did not have an appointment. They were very gracious when I said I would get the problem fixed by my local mechanic. The only complaint was that the repair would have cost almost twice what my mechanic charged. It was not repaired with Honda parts but the car is 12 years old anyway.
Everyone has always had the preconceived notion that buying a car is a painful experience because the dealership just wants to get you to buy a new car and then be done with you. That is not the case with Sam Swope. From the moment I walked in and had my salesperson Lewis Ray show me around the lot, I knew this was the place I would buy my car from. They treat you like a family member, never pushing you to make a decision and making sure you explore all your options before you are ready to buy. They simplify the whole process of not only buying the car itself but also maintaining the car for the entirety of its existence. Sam Swope has done for the Car dealership industry what Amazon has done for online shopping, they focus on customer service. And once I was ready to pick up my car and sign the paperwork, they didn't just kick me to the curb. You are NEVER left wondering when someone will help you. I was at Honda World twice within 5 days and both times someone immediately came up to me to see how they could help. If the workers who usually check you in are busy, someone from management will come over to greet you. Everyone is always courteous even if they are extremely busy. I trust that my car is in good hands. Couldn't ask for a better experience.
I routinely visit Honda World for scheduled maintenance, have for several years. However, when recently needing a last minute appointment, I was accommodated on my schedule and my problem was corrected quickly without any push for additional services.
I had a great experience buying my 2012 Fusion from Sam Swope. I was nervous going into the buying process as a single female, and Tim Perkins did a great job making me feel comfortable, listening to what I wanted, and trying to find the best vehicles on the lot that fit into what I was looking for. I've been getting my oil changed here for years since I bought the car. Stopped in to do just that. The new service desk person said they might not have the tool to do it. After asking the mechanics said yes they can. I walk to get my haircut and walking back. (An hour has gone by.) She calls me to "give me updated information" I walk in and they say they didn't change my oil. I don't what could have happen is 6 weeks ago but this place has hit the bottom of the barrel. Huge inconvenience for me as I drive across town to go to where I bought it. Not anymore.
I came in for a simple oil change. I was asked if I knew that I had a recall item. I said yes a voiced a concern that there was a delay in getting this service. Next thing I know the service agent was doing everything in his power to take care of my concerns. He even helped me to fix a hot chocolate in the new machine and he said that it was going to be the best hot chocolate I had ever had and he was correct.

I have been going to Honda World since I got my Civic in '11. They have done all my servicing and preventative maintenance. If they tell me something needs to be replaced, they explain why and show it to me. It's a little pricey but well worth it in my opinion.
My wife and I purchased our 2012 Honda Odyssey from the Swope dealership which came with a warranty. I am not sure why it came with a warranty, since we returned our car twice for the same problem and their solution was a duck tape fix or adrd more lubricant to the seal on the CV axle which was broken and causing a clicking sound. Often, I will just observe peoples actions and let the future be my judgement. I will not be purchasing a car from Sam Swope in the future. I have attached a photo showing the replacement of the drivers side front axle assy. Moreover, I am not sure why we had a warranty on the car?

After I made my appointment to service my car on Wednesday July 29th, I stopped by Friday, July 31, to see how everything was going since I haven't heard from them. Come to find out that they loss the key for my car and tried to charge me around $130 to replace the key when if should be free of charge since they lost it. They are in construction and apparently I dropped my key off in the wrong spot where they can have access to. They didn't make it clear with the instructions. Very unprofessional and incompetent. the name of the customer service person who started yelling. The only person who was nice to me this morning and actually gave me somewhat of a response was nick. Nick felt sorry for missing my appointment on Wednesday and offered me a spot for the same day. When we asked josh he got mad at him for giving methe spot on the same day. At least wait until the customer leaves to act that way. So unprofessional and rude for a great brand.

First let me start off by saying that I service my Honda insight, Honda Pilot, 13 accord coupe, and my 2016 accord. Before this incident I have never had any issues with Honda World. A week ago, I took my accord in for a diagnostic test and they gave me the diagnostic report. Without my permission or consent they put my 2016 accord in the washing machine (I hand wash my cars), I had swirl marks all over the hood and the whole left side of my car. I called and told them about this issue and they told me to come in. I come in there after 45 minutes of traffic this is rush hour mind you 4:30 - 5 after work, and I speak with Great Whitehouse, who is supposedly a manager. Basically, Great WhiteHouse just tells me I'm wrong and he's right. I explain to him that before this "car wash" their was no swirlmarks on my hood and on my left side of my car, but he persists that I'm making this up. I leave, because after work, after spending 2 hours in traffic, their is no point in arguing with Whitehouse. I will file a complaint with BBB and if they cannot resolve my issue, I will file a civil complaint with the Office of Circuit Court Clerk.. I had been in contact with a lady by the name of Jordyn Harris who was very responsive HOWEVER when I sent my daughter to check out the vehicle I had been speaking with her about, the vehicle was in reconditioning. She let me know as soon as it was out, my daughter went back to the dealership only to be told it was sold. Jordyn was telling me who we needed to ask for and everything. She got there within 30 minutes. We were advised by a gentleman it sold online. This is very rude and irresponsible on their part. I will NOT be buying from there. I also messaged Jordyn back after my daughter was told the car was no longer available and how angry I was about it and she just never responded. It's easy to apologize to someone but I couldn't even get that!
I was recently involved in an auto accident and found out that my brand new 2012 Honda CR-V was totaled. I called Shermon Sanders, the sales associate I worked with to get this car and he immediately worked to find me a new CR-V in the same model that I liked. He even remembered the color I wanted from the last time and found one that was close to that color. I received such excellent service from the sales associate who worked with me to the finance manager and made sure that I was very happy with my car selection. Thank you to Shermon, Brandon Bennett and all the other people who worked with me this time around to help me out of my difficult situation.
This had to have been the most unprofessional displays from any company in my experience of car negotiations. I had been talking with them for four days straight about a vehicle they had posted on cargurus and come to find out the car had been sold been they even posted it. And what makes me mad the most, we had scheduled a appointment to drive from out to of State to come see and buy the car and if it wasn't for me calling about the car and feeling of uneasiness, me and my family would have driven from another state to see absolutely nothing. This was ridiculous. I'm am extremely disappointed and never even got an apology for there lack of professionalism, thoroughness about their own products, and decency.

This is the fourth vehicle that we have purchased from the Sam Swope Auto Group in the last five years and the second from the Sam Swope Honda World dealership. We keep coming back because of the great selection and outstanding customer service. Andre Uchitel our salesperson and David Lail the Finance Manager helped to make our experience as easy as possible. Although no process is perfect; we have averaged 3 hrs or more per deal, the outcome is always to our satisfaction with a great price and a great product. My wife loves her 2012 Honda Accord SE. We will continue to always make the Swope Group our first and usually the last stop on any of our future car buying trips.
To a person, the people are nice and knowledgeable. Too many mistakes during the entire buying process questions the mangement oversight of this business. Mistakes on getting my vehicle ready for delivery, I was not aware of the mileage on what I thought was a new vehicle until after I agreed to the price, it may be acceptable for some, but for me, someone should explain why the vehicle had over 400 miles on it before we talk final price. The sales paperwork was incorrect twice which would of had me paying more for the vehicle than what we agreed. Then the vehicle registration was not completed and only after a phone call with 4 days remaining on my temp. Registration, I finally had someone help me straighten it out. Im sure you can find a better store to buy a vehicle from. If you do, triple check every step in the process.

Only rated one star because zero wasn t an option. How do I count the deceptive tactics. The car I went to purchase was advertised online as a certified used car and the price was negociated as such. In the very end it was disclosed that it was not certified, even though I could show them the advertised picture on the web of the car indicating it was. In negotiating price, I asked salesman Lewis Ray if he would be willing to show me the price the dealership gave on the trade in when they purchased the car on the lot. I was told We have no way of knowing that. There is no record of that. Really? A dealership has no record of what they paid? Just tell me you are not willing to show me, which most reputable dealerships are willing to do.
I was made to wait a long time to see interest rates and was given the impression I would be able to see multiple rates. The finance guy would only show me one rate sheet from one lender. The rest he said, don t have printed offers but that I should trust him that it was the best I would get anywhere. 4.74% for someone with exceptional credit is not good enough when you are only willing to produce one offer from one lender. Plus when negotiating price I made it clear that getting a great interest rate was critical and was given the impression my rate would be well below 4.75%.
This dealership clearly uses any tactic possible to get you on the lot. The finance man admitted the rates posted on their website are just for advertising purposes and to get people on the lot. We were first drawn to the lot by two cars posted on the web which both happened to sell just minutes before we arrived. The lot salesman said, The girl s job who you spoke to on the phone (the one who said the card were on their lot) is to get you on the lot. She doesn t know what we have and don t have.
The biggest strategy to be weary of on this lot is the wear down tactic. They are going to make the process lengthy! My buying process was well over 3 hours long. In the end I walked due to deceptive advertising of the car as certified during the negotiating process and the bait and switch at the end, in addition to the less than transparent rate process.
Worst car buying experience I have had in any of my six buying processes. I wasted several hours, but I won t waste one more second with them.

I had an unfortunate experience with this dealer this week. This review is based on the car buying experience. Working with the service department has been positive in the past.
After an initial visit at which I received an estimated price I checked online. The internet price was given to me over the phone and was a better one which meet my family's needs. I then called back to confirm that the price was an "on the road price" which was verbally confirmed.
The next day I called to schedule a test drive. On arriving at the store I realized that they were not ready for me and I did not get the sense they were prepared for my visit.
One day later I called back to get some basic pricing information. After finding out that my sales representative had been changed they advised that they would have to find out the information and call me back. A couple hours later after having had no response, I called back. I was then advised that the price was actually notably higher than the last price and that the last price given was not complete, despite me getting this confirmed over the phone. They also advised that this had next to no room for negotiation. It simply felt that it was not worth their time to work with me.
This was a negative experience as I felt they were working to get me to test drive the vehicle and meet with a sales representative in office. Clear and transparent pricing would have felt more honest and not left me feeling unhappy with the experience. It also felt like they simply decided not to work through this process with me and discuss options to help meet my vehicle needs.
Be sure to get a thorough understanding of the price in writing and not just through a verbal statement. Through the process everyone was polite and friendly but unfortunately it left me feeling frustrated.
We leased our fourth Honda at Sam Swope and the total experience was excellent, as usual. Our sales person was upfront and clear about each aspect of the transaction. Dylan, the young man who went over the features of the new Odyssey, was very helpful in setting the controls just the way we wanted, was a welcome addition to the process. We recommend anyone looking for a new or used vehicle visit the Swope auto group.
We recently purchased a 2015 Honda CRV Touring with only 7200 miles. Not only were we not pressured, but we were given the information to compare this vehicle to other models and years.

We got screwed. My College daughter, put her trust in these people, she even convinced me. I didn't like the idea of the purchase of a 2013 KIA Rio Lx. I would have thought any reputable dealership services would have replaced the spark plugs and oil change, but nooo. My Daughter drove this car from Louisville KY to Fort Collins CO, where she goes to college. Less than a month of having the car. Check engine light flashing, catalytic converter pretty much destroyed, spark plugs shot. Over $300 in repairs that should have already been done. Don't go here people. Save yourself and your money.
I had the pleasure of working with Chris on finding my dream truck. He is super friendly and knowledgeable. There was no pressure and I was super happy. It was a used truck and found out once i got home that one of the rims had a slight bend in it making the tire slowly leak. Chris hooked me up with a daily loaner for free and fixed the tire with no questions asked. Customer service was a 100%. Must go visit him if your looking for a new vehicle.

Called this morning to verify a used 2015 Infinity QX80 was still available. Spoke to a nice man who said it was and scheduled an appointment for me to test drive it at 5:30pm this evening. I arrived a 5:25pm, waited 30 minutes only to be told that the vehicle was in reconditioning . Asked me to come back tomorrow?! Thanks but no thanks. I went across the street to visit Louisville Infiniti and had a much more professional and courteous experience.
Went to purchase a vehicle I found online. Arthur Wilson was extremely friendly and a pleasure to work with. Arthur was never once tried to over sell the vehicle and he never made us feel pressured into purchasing. I would recommend Arthur to anyone and everyone. Extraordinarily disappointed - dealership never ordered the requested part before my appointment.
I called & made an appointment for to have a specific part replaced on my Honda wherein I spoke directly with the service department. Several days later I arrived to my appointment & waited an hour before I was told that they didn t have the part in stock. They then told me they couldn t get the part for at least a week. The staff member I spoke to was terse & uninterested in my concerns about the situation.
I asked the parts manager to perform diagnostic as compensation for the situation & they agreed; unfortunately, I m still waiting on the car two hours after that conversation. I have used this establishment before, but I will not be returning after this experience.
Honda World staff are very courteous and take care of my car needs in a timely, professional manner, I always feel well taken care of and confident that my car is being maintained properly.
My only experience was for an airbag recall, but the service was great and they were as fast as they said they would be on the job. I cannot attest to pricing since this was just a recall.

They are holding a check that my mother put on a car, and for 2 days we can't even get anyone to answer the phone, or a call back from Connie, my mother left messages telling Connie what she needed to do so that she was able to pick her car up, but no response at all. This is horrible customer service Someone in finance was even very rude to our sales guy(Kai)on phone in front of us. He said WOW, he's having a bad day. That's not professional at all. My parents are seriously thinking of just going somewhere else.
This was the second lot that I went to in my search for a car, but the first one where someone actually helped me. Jordan was super helpful without being pushy! I test drove the car that I eventually bought right before they closed one night. He texted me the next day instead of calling which I loved! It was so easy every time that I thought of a question to just shoot him a quick text rather than calling the dealership, asking for him, waiting on hold, and then him possibly not even being available. I loved that I was able to ask questions while I was thinking of them. It gave me assurance that I didn t forget to ask anything. I would (and have already) highly recommend Jordan!

The sales manager seemed more interested in bragging to me about how large of a selection they had than actually focussing on finding the car that was the right price for me. The salesman was completely disinterested in selling a car. This was the third time we had visited the store and the first time someone actually spoke to us.
Staff were both courteous and efficient. My service was completed 20 minutes ahead of schedule. The high level of service was very refreshing and has given me a different opinon of taking my car to the dealer.
