Marshall was very helpful. When we went out for a test drive, he was knowledgeable about the vehicle, and showed me some of the ins and outs of the electronics. We were able to work with a price I was comfortable with and all the while giving me information on things they offer at the dealership and excess information for the vehicle. Everyone we dealt with was very professional and courteous. Holly made sure I was able to connect my phone to the car before I left, (she also favorited my music station for me) she made sure I was comfortable before I drove it away. Josh was very thorough explaining the extended warranties and other things offered, and gave me his number so I can schedule to get my perma-plate done. Cant thank everyone involved enough.

I bought a car from Marshall Dean and he was great! Wouldn't use anyone else! My whole family buys here. Marshall went above and beyond to get me approved for a new Honda even though it was a complicated process. I knew I could trust him completely to have my best interest in mind, and not just making a sell. He is VERY knowledgeable about the cars, was extremely patient with me while I went back and forth between which one I wanted, and just made my car buying experience better. I am very happy with my experience here and my car!

I just bought my fourth or fifth vehicle from this dealership - the second under the current ownership. The sales process is smoothly handled and not too high-pressure. The dealership is nicely laid out and in a convenient location. Service is excellent, though I recommend showing up early to beat the crowds who have also found out about the great service. Andre Uchitel had sold my wife her Accord 2 years ago and I was happy to work with him again - a very good guy. Rob took care of delivery and was very pleasant to work with as well. Jerry took care of closing and walked through the standard paperwork without letting it get tedious. My only suggestion on the closing is to not speak ill of the previous owner of the dealership. I would definitely recommend Honda World to friends, family, and colleagues. In fact, I did recommend Honda World to a co-worker and saw him and his family shopping there while I was road testing a car! Good work, Honda World!

I bought a 2009 Convertible Beetle for my wife on February 28, 2016. Our salesman was Tom Seeforth. During the test drive, the ignition/steering wheel locked up, and we both attributed that to it sitting in the winter weather. Tom said that Honda World would fix it if it became a problem later. And they did. I was expecting a cage match, as has been my experience with other car dealers. They fixed it for NO CHARGE. Tom Seeforth was OUTSTANDING, keeping me informed along the way. He even washed the car and filled it up with gas! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Tom Seeforth and Honda World!

Staff was friendly enough. Price was very fair on the car I ended up with. However, I was not given full disclosure of the terms of my financing. I had come to the dealership with a large down payment and a check from my bank for the purchase of a vehicle as I preferred to do my financing with my personal bank. I had a very good rate with them for the purchase. The sales manager spoke with me about their Smart Payment option. The way he described it made it sound as though by making payments biweekly I was going to save money on interest. They wouldn't tell me the interest rate they offered. I was told "It's the same as PNC". But when I saw the paper it was actually almost a full percentage point higher. Ultimately I decided to go with the smart payment plan as the monthly total payment was only going to be a couple dollars more than the PNC payment, and the total number of term months would be less. I had a feeling that I was making a bad decision, but naively trusted what they were telling me. When I left the dealership they gave me a file folder with the drivers manuals and all my paper work in a sealed envelope. I pulled the paperwork out this morning to start the process of switching over my insurance and I discovered on a piece of paper that did not require a signature so I had not seen it before that there were lots of fees associated with this "Smart" payment option. There is a debit fee each and every time they deduct payment from my account which luckily for the bank they are deducting every other week. There is also a "membership fee" of $399. Neither of these were ever mentioned to me. I'm a single mother. I was at the upper limits of my comfortability with the purchase of this vehicle and I explained to the sales person and to the manager all of that. That it was extremely important to me to not live outside of my means. I have worked hard to get a great credit score and to ensure I limit my debts. I honestly feel like this was unethical on their end. The knew of these fees and purposely did not disclose them. My plan is deal with this not-so-smart payment plan for the six months its required and then to refinance with my bank. I don't think I will purchase another vehicle from Honda World and I don't think I could recommend them to any friend or family and feel good about it. It's a shame because I did genuinely like the sales staff. But now of course, I realize that was all just a ploy and I was naive. Lesson learned for sure.

Simply put: one of the best sales experiences I have ever had. Ron Towles is what I wished every salesperson could be. He listens to you: not just "hears the words coming out of your mouth and nods," but actually LISTENS. He took notes when I was telling him what I was interested in and gave me several options that were spot on. I ended up purchasing a car that was perfect for me that wasn't even on my radar initially. Ron has a remarkable intuition that is hard to find in this day and age. He was respectful, friendly, and extremely helpful. I will without a doubt be coming back to see him when I purchase my next vehicle.

Finance Director, David Lail, was also great to work with. He was respectful, down to earth, and knowledgable. To be honest, I had a not-so-great experience with a car purchase at Sam Swope I made a little over a year ago. David more than made up for this experience and put Sam Swope back in the high regard that I initially held them in.

We live on an Island off the coast of South Carolina with no bridge, just a ferry. Having our Honda's serviced there is logistically challenging. We keep an apartment here in East Louisville and I decided to try Honda World for servicing both my Ridgeline and my wife's CRV. It was a great choice. The Express Service, along with the inspection and recommended periodic maintenance, was just that. I had an appointment time and was taken right in, service was completed in the time they told me. The pre-service quote was what I was charged and fees were certainly fair. High quality excellent service is rare, but I found it in Louisville Kentucky at Honda World.

After my car accident my biggest fear was trying to find a car I could afford. A friend recommended Honda Workd and I m so glad he did. I couldn t have asked for a better experience. No one tried to cheat me and everyone was really helpful and honest. I will recommend this place to anyone looking for a car because I know they will be treated right.

Damon Hampton was very patient and relaxed. He made it his interest to show me cars on their lot that met my satisfaction. In the beginning I told him what I was looking for, and he allow me to test drive all of those vehicles. He didn't try to pressure me and show me something that I wasn't interested in. Moreover, Damon was straight up honest with me in the price of the sale. He kept his word in the negotiations.

My experience with this dealer actually started about 18 months ago when I was looking to replace my existing vehicle with something newer and more fuel efficient. I made an appointment to test drive a 2013 Honda CRV via the website and was given an appointment to meet a salesman. For some reason the person whom I had an appointment with was not available but Doug Alsman said he would be happy to help us. After about 5 min my wife was not happy with a small detail on how the floorboard did not allow her to put her foot where she wanted it. Doug was understanding and treated us like friends while we drove back to the dealership in a car we had absolutely no interest in purchasing.
Flash forward to October 2014 and we still have not switched cars and when I discovered some of the updates of the 2015 CRV My wife and I decided to go back to Swope Honda to see if the floorboard issue was resolved. It was actually Doug Alsman's great company that made us seek him out specifically for his help. After a quick test drive ( and wife's approval with the floorboard change) we decided we would like to purchase a CRV. As it was late and we had a few busy days Doug setup a time for me first thing on a Saturday to get everything going. Expecting the normal run around I brought a book, some headphones, my coffee and iPad to pass the time. I was pleasantly surprised when they let me know that everything was done and ready and all I had to do is come back in a couple of days when the color that I want could be procured. I could have been done even sooner, but I was trying to decide between two colors ( wife and daughter stopped by for color approval :) ). During the entire process Doug let me know just what was going on, what he needed, and about how long everything would take. I knew i was in for something different when I had to stop a card game on my IPad after Doug was only gone 4 minutes to get the pricing deals.

went back 2 years latter to upgrade to a newer version of the cr-v ( better engine, tech etc) .. This time i had a Ben working with me as Doug was out of time for a bit. Once again an easier purchasing experience

Honda World has always been efficient at servicing...

Honda World has always been efficient at servicing our Honda HRV since 2016. Recently, the vehicle was serviced, and it was a pleasant experience. The service representative suggested battery replacement pro-actively and the vehicle was serviced in about 2 hours. Everything was taken care of and my wife says the vehicle is running smoothly. Excellent

They do a very good job servicing. Prompt & effective

I've bought several cars from Damon over the last 8 or so years. I'm a very thorough and picky customer but Damon makes it so easy! I've been to many dealers and bought many cars in the past 35+ years but Damon at Honda World has got them all beat hands down. Damon and I have actually become friends so I think that says it all. Do yourself a favor and leave the hassle at the other car dealerships and go see Damon!

My problem was fixed and they rented me a beautiful accord to use for the day for $20.

We've taken our 2013 Pilot into Honda World for service several times. Each time I've found them to be honest and up front with me. There was a recall on 3 O rings. They recommended I pay for the other 3 and timing belt myself while Honda was paying for the labor of opening the engine and I was able to get 100,000 maintenance done for a fraction of the cost. We've even had a couple of problems as a result of the service which were quickly fixed to our 100% satisfaction. During our latest visit, I was informed of a bushing that is showing normal wear. Mike told me what to expect when it goes bad and that it likely has 2-4 years before that happens. Mike Kavanaugh is the best.

Thousands in hidden costs and fees. I buy a couple new cars every few years, and never seen so many. First time ever shopping at Honda world, and was shocked. Drive a little further to a different Honda dealer. Their advertised price is the price plus, plus, plus, plus.....

I do like scrolling down the comments here and read the copy pasted replies from the dealership about how they "care". They care enough to copy and paste a generic reply, but that is all.

I have a good experience at Honda World service dept. I was in and out in 30-45 minutes. Just had oil change and tires rotated and balanced done. But it was the first time it was done in less than an hour or 2. The man who helped me was very friendly and efficient.

Contacted this dealership regarding a vehicle from their website. Set up an appointment after speaking with them and confirming availability. We were told that the vehicle would be cleaned and waiting for our visit. After driving over an hour to the store we were told that the vehicle was no longer available. No one greeted or offered assistance when we walked in and I had to contact the front desk and ask for help. I will never be back.

Edit: I purchased a car on 7/20 and they did not remove the advertisement for it until 8/9 when I left this review.

Also, they told me they could handle out of state registration for Michigan as I will be living in KY for a few more months. They said that they'll send it out, but kept pushing the date back. When I told the lady handling the registration about me still living in KY she told me she didn't know how that would work. The salesman told me they would be able to handle that. I finally had to go pick up the paper work to do it all myself.

I can't even get past the girl who schedules the service appointments here. She is difficult to understand because she has a ridiculously thick accent and mumbles all the time. She seemed unsure of how to look my service file up by last name when I couldn't remember the old phone number the record might be under. Finally, she got it right.

Then, she started asking about the previous owner of my car as if I should know who owned my car previously. I told her I needed warranty work completed and she asked if it was for a split sun visor. No, it's for a blown shock absorber. Then, she asked if I got a letter in the mail about it. No, it's leaking and not doing it's job.

She then put me on hold for five minutes. I hung up and called back... four times. I got the answering machine each time. I understand that they must be busy, but calling over a 5 minute period of time should yield SOME sort of result other than an answering machine, right? Unfortunately, she answered the phone again. I told her I just called 10 minutes ago about getting service on my Honda Civic and she put me on hold for 5 minutes, so I called her back. She said she couldn't remember what I was talking about, so at that point I was very frustrated and asked if I could speak with someone else. She said no and informed me that she is the one who schedules the service appointments. I asked again, "There is absolutely no one else I can speak with?" She again told me no.

So I politely asked that she inform her manager that Sam Swope has lost all of my future business. This girl either needs some training or a replacement. I'm going down to Bob Montgomery for my warranty work I guess.

Great service - very friendly greeting from agent. She explained everything. I requested an estimated cost for replacing my tires - she supplied it very quickly and gave me a printout with all the details. I felt like she definitely went the extra mile for me.

Great dealership with lots of very nice used cars....

Great dealership with lots of very nice used cars. Generally something for everyone. However, some can be a little pricey. Talked to a few salesman and the sales manager, Steve. Our salesman was Jamie. Very nice guy. Laid back, but very helpful and knowledgeable. Went to the dealer about 6 times in 4 days and each time Jamie was nothing but polite and helpful. Saw a very nice Hyundai Volastor that I really liked and wanted. But being it sit low to the ground it was hard to get in/out if you have bad knees as I do. Other than that it was a fantastic car. Jamie was very patient and showed us a couple other cars he thought we'd like without batting an eye lash or acting like we were abusing his service by looking at several cars over 4 days. In the end we didn't buy a car here as we just couldn't find one that said buy me! Nonetheless, if your ever out shopping for a nice dependable used car, go by and stop at Honda World and ask for Jamie. You won't finder a nicer sales guy who goes over and beyond to do his best to help put you in a nice vehicle at the right price.

October 9th update:
Went back to Honda World Sunday afternoon, drove a couple more cars and was leaning towards a very nice chevy that caught my eye. Took it for a spin and got back to the dealer and the sales manager, Steve greeted me immediately saying he had another vehicle he wanted me to look at. A very nice Honda Civic that looked, drove, and overall was an amazing car. Took it out for a drive and found the car I've been looking for. Everything about it said but me. So we are. Honda world did a detailed inspection on the car, detailed it, and called to say it was going to be another day before we could pick it up. Even though the tires still had a decent amount of tread left, Honda world went over and above. They not only are replacing the tires, but because the car had a particular set of tires, Honda world ordered the same tires that were existing without adding a penny to the overall cost. Bought a fair share of vehicles over the years, but never have I had a dealership replace a set of tires because of wear. Just tells me I made the right decision to go back to Honda world. Way to go Steve!
