Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH Reviews

Worth the visit if your looking for deals and willing to spend time browsing through all the racks, outlet style. A bit junky.

Escalators not operational. Elevator broken for over 30 minutes. A disaster.

Awesome designers and amazingly discounted prices. The store, in particular the mens section could use a more frequent cleanup.

2 things:

1) The quality of the items at this store is of a thrift store. Shoes totally worn out and jackets ripped. The only good quality items are not the original top-shelf items you would find at Saks. Store quality has gone down for sure.

2) I bought shoes and the store couldn't find my order in the system. They directed me to online customer service that said I could only deal with the store in person. In short, they refused to return my shoes I never wore, turned me away. I'm not happy about this.

Nancy and Ellen were super helpful. Great place to shop and lines are never long, even during the holidays.

Kind of messy, but if you dig it, you find very cheap brands.

Terribly disorganized store(mens shoe section). Associates are terribly slow and pretty much useless.

Old picked over stuff. Probably few seasons old Not cheap though. I can tell that designer sunglasses are either fake or maybe a line for outlets only, very low quality. All and all, this was a waste of time. I gave 2 stars only because the staff was friendly

I really love Saks Off Fifth. They have a great designer selection, the prices are fantastic, and the cashier's are ALWAYS helpful (including the one who told me about the sale holiday candy which I did buy lol). A definite must shop destination

They have good offers but you have to fix them on the signs because not all the garments of the same exponent apply

Horrible Service.. I have been waiting for a credit since Aug 25th. I have spent countless hours on the phone trying to get a credit. Have talked with 4 people. 3 out of the 4 tell me they are investigating the return. For what?? You acknowledged my return. Now credit my account.. They can pay my bill and late fees. Don't I repeat do not order from this company..

Bad experience with Saks OFF 5th I bought A FURLA bag on line. The handle broke in 2 months of used . I called them for a refund or see if they can fix it and they response was that it wasn't a manufacture problem.I'm been talking for a month with a representative that said that she will talk to her manager until now I still waiting for an answer. REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE.

Space seemed a bit tight. But quick service and convenient location

The real deals are on the off5th website.. why are the prices so much higher at this location? If you haven't been on the website you don't know what you're missing out.

My favorite department store to shopping they have the newest styles the best show collection on the eighth floor!

FAB! This store is conveniently located right on 57th closer to Lex and its sooooo nice! Organized, clean and the items! Super top quality (clothes, designer hand bags, accessories, shoes...THE WORKS!!! I am not a fan of actually going to stores cause I find online shopping easier, but this store is one I will DEF visit...ALOT!

My daughter gets designer dresses at really low prices. Salts worth checking

Think: really, really nice TJ Maxx. Expensive merchandise still expensive after discount.

Find everything you need for your next vacation or night out on the town. They have large women s selection and big selection of men s clothing and accessories.

Check the clearance racks first. You may find some hidden gems.

Kind of like a mini-outlet mall. They often have fun events. Yesterday, a puppy adoption agency was there.

Great prices! Every high end brand you want can be found here! And the prices are affordable!!

Great store to shop in especially online.The only problem I just had one of the sale associates at the register felt like it was ok to say to me something that it was unacceptable,but as me as the bigger person I left it alone and told her to have a great day!!!!

Shop here at your own risk. The brick-and-mortar retail landscape is getting difficult. Saks needs to do a lot better to compete against competitors.

It was my first time shopping with Saks and I do have to say it has been utterly terrible:

(1) my shoe order came damaged
(2) Customer service remedies are only a temporary fix to the true problem: The service agent I spoke to a store on my behalf ship me replacement shoes. Even though I asked directly that they ensure the store salesperson they spoke to had the inventory on hand...they did not.
(3) Said replacement order was cancelled without my knowledge, which to my surprise is a very common problem.
(4) In addition, the order was cancelled because there was no inventory - which means the previous sales person LIED or false promised
(5) In another attempt to rectify the damaged good, another service associate attempted to replace my shoes with another online order which also fell through.
(6) Finally, phone service has been atrocious. Everytime I have called in to rectify my problem with this order my wait time has been over 20 mins. In fact, as I am writing this review, I have been on hold for over 45 minutes.

While I am an understanding consumer, the aggregate of the aforementioned points are damning and deserve broad communication.

Absolute disappointment.

I never went into Saks off 5th. I was actually at New York and Co. Went to check out a selection of clothing. didn't find what I wanted but it is a nice store with plenty of options.

Quirky and super eclectic shop!! You can literally spend hours in this store because they have the most unique items from costumes to black light posters. Anything thing you're looking for can probably be found here at this wonderful gem! Please go visit :)

When You will call there, the answer always "YES, we have it " , but when You will come, it will be "NO, we never had it"

No too much to see, the most of the clothes are big size (L to XXL) and also is not nice. The service is also bad (for a Saks store you expect a 5 diamonds service but is the same that if you go to a convenience store). In jewerly they have some good deals.

I ordered a Versace belt and Gucci Jewely and neither item came packaged. The items were in a plastic bag with a knot tied on the end like it was bologna sandwiches! The Gucci jewelry was thrown in a box without a dust bag, Gucci cards or anything holding the jewelry. It was beyond tacky, Saks does not care and I m returning everything and I m not shopping @ Saks anymore. Saks customer service is the worst on Earth! Mary, Natalie, Andrea and Dan should be fired. I spoke with a manager named Dan, Dan acted very racist! Instead of taking accountability for Saks mistakes he said I was being argumentative cause I m black. This is a store to avoid!

Spent 15 minutes looking at men s suits and no one offered to help.

I do not like the location, but I want to try it again.

Good store...a lot of choice. Expensive but always an enjoyable experience to come here. Especially because it was my wife's first time.

It's a beautiful integration of Saks off-price sibling and GILT. The space is much more posh than expected, given its off-price nature. Merchandise seems very well-organized, possibly because it's not yet very popular. Rare was a customer when I was there.

For those who want to see this infamous store but don't think you have the means to go inside, do it anyway! There is a large variety of prices ranging from $20 to around $1000 but there are things that are reasonable priced so go in and have fun! I have expensive taste so I really couldn't afford to buy what I really wanted but there are bargains to be had, like the Michael Kors bathing suit I bought for $20!! Go in and explore, the sales will surprise you just as much as the pair of heels for $400 on clearance. lol

Spent hours shopping with my wife for clothes for her on my birthday weekend. The whole time there were workers getting in our way (seemingly intentionally) and not moving so we could even look around. Literally the most out-of-order store we have ever seen in our lives. Workers were loudly talking about how much they hate their jobs and this store the entire time.

They then shut down the women s fitting room an hour early, despite having someone back there and many workers everywhere, and making literally no announcement. For the first time ever, there was actually a worker in the men s fitting room (funny, because we had been by there for a solid hour earlier when not a single person ever came by). They would not let her try on even though no one was there had shut women s fitting down an hour early. Manager came and was very rude, didn t care at all, and claimed she had shut down women s fitting room only 30 mins early due to shortness of staff even though all of the same people were there getting in everyone s way, and it had been close to an hour easy without warning.

Clothes suck here, too. Definitely will never be back.
