A great hotel boasting Riverview
It is not a new hotel, but the overall food is excellent for an old hotel and the room condition is also good for the price.
Family or lover is not bad for one day

The building was a little old but the location and service were good and there was a spa promotion at 10am to 3pm, but the smell was peculiar to the sensitive old building carpet.

It is a great hotel with a swimming pool, but you need to be careful because there is a bad taxi in front of the hotel. There is a free pass from taxis or from the peer who got off the BTS Thaksin Bridge.

The river view looks like a big window. The room is spacious and has a relaxing atmosphere that can be felt in a traditional hotel. Two outdoor swimming pools are quiet and relaxing on the pool side. However, it was unnecessary and rude to have employees knock on the visit even though checkout was only ten minutes.

Tourist well located. The orchids are a bit faded, the garden pool too loud, because the air conditioning here has the output.
But the Italian is top at civilian prices.

Off the chain. So delightful. Lovely room, great amenities, great service, good food if you have room service, awesome views. Only disappointing thing was the bar/pool isn't open later.

Fantastic hotel. Great location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I got the breakfast with my room and the Buffet had a wide variety of food. It was a great way to start a long day of walking and site seeing.

Incredible hotel, near to almost everywhere. You should try to noodle shop which is young girl and her familys serve int the street, magnificient.

A beautiful riverside hotel, convenient transportation near tourist attractions

Based on my childhood memory, the security guards are very friendly. Mostly people there are foreigners and are very friendly. The guard let me go to the pool because I happened to go there everyday.

Meals are delicious, fresh oyster shrimp smoked salmon roll sashimi, various Thai hot stir-fried, curry, all kinds of exquisite desserts made of sushi, chocolate tower, ice cream

I had a business party there, my room was on the 27th floor and the view of the river was amazing, henceforth this hotel tower was located on the turning point of the river so visitors will get an extraordinary view of the city. Secondly, the dining room was great and I can see that they got option for stages for concert or wedding. The food is international and Thai dishes are modernized. I really like this place.

The service and rooms were great. The building is old.

One of the best in Bangkok except there's no bidet in the bathroom

Hotel was nice, staff was great but the internet in the hotel room kept going in and out. You would have to go to their sponsors website in order get it back and this would happen every 30 seconds. Internet worked fine in the lobby. Need to fix this issue.

Very nice hotel, with great views. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The buffet in the morning left nothing to be desired, there is everything. The pool areas are very nicely decorated, as well as the spa area. The proximity to the river is optimal, the hotel even has its own boat shuttleservice.

This is a very good hotel in a great location.

We booked for a family of four in a couple of rooms and were not disappointed.

The welcome and attention to detail was excellent and our rooms were very comfortable clean and with great views.

The restaurants and bars are very good, particularly the Italian.

The two pools are good - the garden pool better suited to families.

Key tips are to use the Sheraton ferry and connect to other hotels ferry services to get around. This is far preferable to being stuck in the Bangkok traffic!

This is a very good place for families and a good spot to base yourself in to see Bangkok.

The view of Chao Phraya River from the lounge is the best. At night, I can hear the sound of karaoke from the cruising ship next to the room, but I can enjoy Thai-style music. I can not get tired of watching the boat going back and forth on the Chao Phraya River.

Stayed in May 2019. Access is by boat from Saphan Taksin. The atmosphere is so good that this ship is chic. I have a cold towel and I feel good before check-in.

Room is room of river view. It was the opposite side to Icon Siam, a shopping mall that had just been made diagonally, but the sunset was also nice looking from the room, and when I looked closely I could see Wat Arun.

The room seems to have been recently renovated and it is very beautiful. The area is also enough. The sleeping comfort of the bed was also a high quality like the Sheraton. Bathroom is very common. There is no shower booth, but it is easy to use and clean properly.

There are two pools, which are large enough and have enough beds. It is not new, but is strictly managed and comfortable. However, like the room, I wonder if it is lacking in fun. Well, it is good to meet such feeling in W or newer hotel.

The surroundings are surprisingly useful. Next to the mall, River City is also home to cafes and art shops, and across the river is a huge shopping mall, Icon Siam. I arrived in a 30-minute walk while sightseeing in Chinatown. Above all, the hotel's shuttle boat goes to Icon Siam, and other boats and tourist boats can also be boarded from the landing of the mall next door. Easy access to the area around the Royal Palace and all facilities along the river.

It is relatively affordable and easy to use. It is a recommended hotel to enjoy calm hotel stay.

The place is not bad by the Chao Phraya River.
But the kettle in the room is bad.
There is also a small sitting in the lobby of the hotel. When I go to buy the water, I don t remember to fall in the seat. But when I go back to find the lobby, I told the audience that no one reported that the customer lost something and I went back. I want to check out what is a five-star hotel after all. I want to ask for the result of cctv. I ask the counter of the side of the lobby of the group desk. The security guard at the front desk said that I was stuck in the corner of the cabinet. I don t know why I didn t report it to the front desk. Something waits for the customer to find it but put it in a corner of the table that is difficult to move. It is not very valuable. I feel that I want to see this thing. I really wonder why I didn t report it to the front desk. But I m still looking at the floor-to-ceiling window. Very nice hotel. Terrific service. It is just 2 minutes' walking distance from 2 boat stations (not sure what the locals call them). One of the stations takes you straight to the IconSiam mall. This one is a free ride. The other boats take you up the river until Wat Arun and beyond. The river seems to be the lifeblood of the town.

The food is good. The ambience of the lobby is very calming even though there are a lot of people around all the time.

There's good Street food just outside the hotel. About 10-15 minutes of a walk around the neighborhood gives you plenty of options to eat and drink. We went there on a weekend and found most shops in the neighborhood closed. So try exploring on a weekday if possible.

Room view, service, location all excellent. River taxi in the back takes you to all the tourist attractions within 15 minutes. Concierge guided us through everything.

Beautiful vibes beside Chaophraya River Hotel opposite IconSiam near River City

Hotel itself was good, but everything else was unacceptable. My room was booked as a suite with river view and all Club room benefits, but I had to call the front desk everyday for the daily fresh fruits. The housekeeping was unacceptable also because some of the amenities were not replenished. I had to call for the missing wash towels, body wash, disposable slippers, and tea bags.
It's UNACCEPTABLE and RIDICULOUS that it happened in this Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel located next to the Chao Phraya River.

Beautiful buildings, river view is very beautiful, however, except for some rooms there is a lack of toothbrush and toothpaste.

5-star but a bit far off the main road, well, there is a river instead...

Chinese food is very good.
But the car park, the driver is not good. Arrange suitable wedding

This is a wonderful hotel situad in the centre of Bangkok, with very attentive staff. Nothing seems to be any trouble and they go to all lengths to make sure you feel important and your every whim is seen to. The view from junior room was breathtaking, I can only give this hotel and it's staff the highest recommendation.

A formerly grand hotel that is still well maintained but showing its age a little bit.

With large public spaces, 2 swimming pools, shuttle boat and other easy transport options, it is a good option for a stay in Bangkok.

The Club Lounge on the 27th floor is superbly managed and has views from almost all sides of the building. On a clear day it is spectacular. Be aware that long pants are required in the lounge for evening drinks.

Breakfast can be a very busy and bustling experience but the food is nonetheless of God quality and presentation.

A little old but lovely and clean. Every room has a good view. Very convenient for travel and site seeing along the river. Service is second to none.

It is still before breakfast, but the hotel itself is expensive. The rooms are large and overlook the river.
It is a hotel where you can feel rich.

Nice ground - feel a lot more like a vacation resort in the middle of Bangkok than other hotels. Great staff. Great view of Chaopraya river from most rooms. Modern and elegant club lounge on 27th floor. Good selections at breakfast buffet. Only thing we had problem with was the bed sheet set. They are showing their ages. The first two sets had brown stain/spots. Almost forgot to mention the ferry to Icon Siam is making it easier for us to go to banks and restaurants, but going from here to main shopping district is still a ferry ride and two BTS lines away...
