Great hotel by the riverside. You can take a BTS and the connect to their complimentary shuttle boat for more fun way of arrival.

Check in went smoothly, staff friendly and cheerful.

Club floor rooms make of a great value. Well appointed and comfortable, with plenty of space around. Fast wifi, ergonomic working desk and chair. As they are located on higher floors, offering splendid views of the city.

Plenty of plugs to charge your gadgets and good bed for sound sleep.

Evening happy hour in the club lounge was with plenty of options, including healthy bites of salads and baked fish.

In the morning there was a bit slow service with refills (including getting cutlery took time), but overall still decent. Liked the healthy fresh juices.

It was 2nd visit and would return again.

The worst breakfast in a long time. Even after coffee you have to beg. Food is added only sporadically. Impersonal, cheeky and outrageous Kelner. No 5 stars.

Best river view rooms - get a suite here facing the river and you will not regret it. The hotel seems to be attracting more charter tourists than business people hence this might not be the ultimate luxury experience for everybody.

Christmas eve dinner was very disappointing. The offering was less than the usual Sunday Brunch, yet the price was substantially marked up. Came here to celebrate Christmas, but left feeling the grinch had robbed the holiday. After spending 20,000baht here, I will never come back.

Location is poor and 3 star. Views of the Japanese hotel construction site across the street! I do not have soundproofing and I do not have shampoo, rinse and body shower properly. I was really annoyed to see that there was no body shower and two shampoos.

Came here for the dinner buffet which includes Indian curry, roasted lamb in a red wine sauce and a selection of cheeses. Yummy

Its a 4-star hotel, priced as a 5-star. It's very nice, but not THAT nice, and the prices are quite high. Still, good view, food, rooms etc; a very nice hotel.

One of the worst bathrooms, especially the bathtub, is the level of a rural inn in the 80s of Korea.
Even though it was a 5 star hotel, it was too much!!
Restaurant: Can't use the restaurant due to oversleeping all the time, so it's impossible to evaluate
Overall review: There is almost no flaw except for the toilet.
Especially for tourists (Wat Arun, Royal Palace, Wat Pho, Khao San Road, Assi
Artique, etc.) Accessibility is best. Fast and cheap transportation!~~~

There were Japanese staff and it was easy to spend. The shuttle boat was larger and more luxurious than a nearby hotel. It is recommended.

Arrived at the Royal orchid Sheraton on the bang end of my Thailand trip. I just say the hotel can be seen from a few miles away as you're approaching in a taxi or grab car (that's how large this hotel is). The convenience of the water taxi makes the location amazing. Hotel staff is simply amazing! Always catered to our requests and answered questions about tours. Highly recommend! Oh yeah the breakfast buffet is possibly one of the best I've even had.

Our 2nd time visiting this hotel. From start to finish the whole experience was fantastic. The staff were amazing and so professional. The Room was spotlessly clean and spacious with amazing views of the river. Breakfast was plentyful and very tasty. We would recommend anyone to stay here. The free shuttle boat is a fantastic service. Thank you royal orchid Sheraton for a great stay.

Great old fashioned hotel with very comfortable rooms, a great executive lounge and amazing terrace. The pool is great as well (and well used, so it can get full). The bar on the terrace served excellent food and super cocktails. Enjoy watching the boats coming and going up and down the river. Only downside is there are mosquitos. They've got shops and stores all inside the hotel as well as a great spa and hair dressers.

Overall, the location and views are good. Room condition is also good. I did not know the staff rating because I stayed on a package trip.

Only regarding the restaurant:Really expensive for bad Food quality.really cheap meal.

It s an old hotel. The mosquitoes in the hall are very fierce and sultry, but the three-meter-deep pool and the invincible beautiful river view are nothing to be said.

Facility itself is beautiful and the split, but the biggest problem at the facility surface is the elevator.
I press the floor after inserting the card key in the room, but the recognition of the card is so bad that it may not respond many times.
Prima facie, it seems to be a trick, and do quickly inserted and removed, first to fail.
From plug in, and to pull out slowly eyes, it is to go easy well.
The viking style breakfast seems to be constantly replenishing relatively often, as it is common in this format, and it does not easily come out when it is out of stock, and I did not particularly find out of stock.

The facilities are also beautiful and the view from the room is great.
The concierge was happy to make restaurant reservations and massage shop reservations. The lounge bar is also comfortable.

A great place,this setup has some issues with accounts department.Rather they give an impression of cheating.From July 7th to august 24 they cheated me twice.Twice dr the card.And when u do the followup they fail to understand.There club set up is not a good VFM rather bad .

I am going there monthly. Breakfast is very delicious and staffs are very kind. Pool is small but good for sunbath. Fitness center is good and clean. Rooms view is wonderful for some rooms.

Great hotel. A little out of the way, but more than makes up for it by being right on a river ferry port - this is easily the most fun way to travel around Bangkok. Recommend.

Although it was on the 16th floor, I can hear the noise of the restaurant on the 1st floor quite well. The noise of the air conditioner is also quite noisy. I slept with ear plugs at night. But still comfortable.

Great hotel. We had a great room with view to the river which was awesome. The breakfast buffet is the best one I've ever had in a hotel. The bar was great and had an amazing selection of international beer. The staff very helpful and nice. Great stay for a great price.

As most of the time in Asia this hotel is beautiful and well maintained. Rooms are clean and well organized. Staff from the checkin to checkout great and helpful. Location of the hotel couldn t be better with access to boat stop that can take you to different parts of Bangkok. Two nice pools (especially the garden). Club Lounge with great selection of drinks and light bites - and the view breathtaking!

Nice place near Co van Kessel tours. The taxi boat stops nearby. Nice place to be if you just arrive in Bangkok here you can acclimatize in luxury. Lovely swimming pool with pool bar. Breakfast is not very expensive but it looked fantastic.

On the Riverside away from the Centre of Bangkok, but an absolutely beautiful Hotel with fabulous views, restaurants, bars Spa and 2 pools.

Good hotel located in the riverside. Rooms are quite large however they are old fashioned. Convenient for large groups.

Very nice and luxurious hotel located in the middle of Bangkok. Nicely decorated rooms with a fantastic view of the river. The hotel has a variety of nice bars and restaurants on several terraces right on the river. You can drive from the boat dock directly to the Royal Palace for a visit. In the hotel garden with pool you can relax and enjoy a cocktail.

Lovely rooms and beds and two good pools as well. Dinner and breakfast buffet was a bit pricy but SO worth it! Really good! Shuttle service worked perfectly as well.

I upgraded myself to a suite on a very busy weekend for the hotel as Americans invaded it for an oil and gas conference. It was my birthday after all and maybe that was my undoing. As much as I understand the situation the test of a hotel capability of handling so many patrons will show whether it is a good hotel or not. And I have stayed at many excellent hotels in Bangkok (including Lebua which is where Hangover made it popular) and five star hotels in other countries.

Sadly this was not so with this particular Sheraton -
1) Trying to get to the shuttle boat during the rain we were not given umbrellas although the Caucasian couple behind us were given one each
2) my wife who is Malaysian like me were given the evil eye during morning breakfast at club lounge as she wore something a Thailand lady of night would wear (is it an Asian thing or what?)
3) my wife tried to surprise me with balloons and cake. She was told they have complimentary cake. She said yes to it and when we checked out the cake was charged as the complimentary cake is supposed to be something smaller and no balloons were sent.

As I said I understand it was not a great weekend for the hotel but as a leisure trip it was not very pleasant.

I liked this hotel. It's located right in the river. The breakfast buffet is amazing! The concierge lounge was nice too.

A nice hotel overall, though some areas appear a little dated, but still look good under maintenance. Rooms are spacious, river view is good facing IconSiam.
