It is centrally located on the Chao Praya river. Great view of river life and the new Iconsiam. Regular boat shuttle to the main pier with Skytrain. Breakfast is extensive and very lively. In contrast to the overpriced neighboring Shangrila Hotel, the hotel is not too shabby, everything is clean and in good condition.

Pros: the location to move, despite not being close to the BTS, they have a very nice boat every 30 min to the direct station (5 min). It is also on the corner of the ferry stop !! Visit many of the tourist attractions by boat because the traffic in Bangkok is terrible. Happy hour at the pool. All rooms have views. Normal gym.
Cons: very old for the modern hotels that are already in Bangkok. The photos are with renovated bathrooms but they are not all. Excessive air conditioning. Expensive prices in hotel restaurants. Bad internal communication, we never received the supposed honey moon set despite having said it on several occasions. Bad area to go out to dinner, there is nothing walking distance .
Others: Spa with exorbitant prices for the area. I don't think they are that much better as to cost $ 150 instead of $ 10, I didn't try it anyway. I also did not try the breakfast, which cost 700 bath and very close there is an excellent place for 150-200. If I went in to see it, a wide buffet with a lot of variety, large and with the option of having breakfast on the terrace overlooking the River.
Overall this hotel is centrally located, by the river, with lovely view. It was a treat to watch from our room window the boats go by. In addition you can reach easly the ferry terminal, few steps from the hotel and visit Bangkok by the Chao Phraya River which will take you to the major tourist attractions. For breakfast there was a large variety of traditional Thai and International cousine and we also ate once at italian restaurant for dinner. It was excellent, pricey but worthy of the cost. The staff were always professional, friendly and very well presented in their Thai silk uniforms.

The rooms are very beautiful because of the river view. There are also two pools, so it was good for healing. Breakfast was delicious. Small massage shops are also nearby, and the Royal Palace and Dawn Temple are also good places to take a water bus.

We love the SPG group but this hotel was disappointing. It has a shabby feel. We stayed on the top Executive floor. The carpets in the corridor smelled old and used. I must say, though, that the one good thing about the hotel was the Executive lounge which has a very good cocktails spread and drinks selection. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast on the Executive floor is really good.
We have stayed here many times. The location is excellent and the service is amazing! The rooms are starting to see dated but are kept very clean and functional. The views are terrific and the free get across to ICONSIAM is wonderful. Breakfast is elaborate and delicious and again ... The staff is truly the reason to stay!!!
Nice place with a free shuttle to sathorn peer and direct next to the hotel is a peer for the puic boats where you can travel along the river for only 15 bhat.
Food and Service are veey good. I had one of the best breakfasts that I've ever seen in this class of hotel. And I have seen a lot!

Come for countdown night. Parking is very tight. But the elder who looks after Lan is helpful The restaurant has a wide selection. The best flavor is foie gras. Near the countdown, many people come to stand and feel that If going to sell a buffet Water zones with high prices, countdown nights should block zones for people who buy just drinks. The hotel is very nice also very clean and well maintained the staff is very friendly. The hotel has 2 pools, both are separated, one is for children, the other for adults who want to enjoy their peace. A beautiful view of the city. However, not so great two cups of coffee cost us 13 euros

Beautiful structure located very close to the Chao Phraja river. From here there are many excursions including the temple of the aurora, the royal palace and the floating market of Bangkok. The rooms of the Hotel are spacious with windows that give on characteristic landscapes of the city.
Great buffet seafood at the Royal Orchid Sheraton in Bangkok Thailand. The friday night seafood buffet has enough variety and detail to set it disticnt to the standard hotrl buffet. Add to this you gave the option of outdoor dining along the banks of Bangkok's Chaypraya river among the chrustnas lights and wooden decks. This makes for a great night out under the Bangkok sky as the biats pass by.
Deluxe! Get the river view! The staff was wonderful. The food was pretty dang good (I loved the Panang at their Thai Restaurant). The spa was fancy and very classy. Best massage I had all week (and I had a bunch). Best of all I was blown away by the view. Also they have a happy hour and the guy making Cosmopolitans was killing it.

Excellent views of the best part of the river, rather busy during the day and charming in the evening with few luxury cruises.
Breakfast is exceptional, with huge variety of Asian and continental dishes, with gluten free and lactose free added on.
Staff are trying hard to please, and are always ready to fulfill any of your wishes.

Having stayed in a few Bangkok hotels, this is definitely my favourite. Staff are super nice, helpful and world class efficient. Garden pool is lovely and you can order pizza/beer. Club lounge has great views and calm atmosphere.
The big brand hotel is perfect in all aspects, except that the hotel is old, but it also lives quite comfortably. The hotel room is comfortable, most like the large glass windows on the floor, the river view is very beautiful at night, it is quite beautiful, the pool is nothing. In particular, it is the pattern of a general hotel! Breakfast is good, and more choices! The staff of the hotel are very friendly and dedicated to solve the problem for you. Thank you very much, the environment is good, the hotel has a free shuttle to the newly opened Icon Siam and BTS, all aspects are good, it is worth staying!
The hotel provide Riverview rooms. They served good food for breakfast, both Western to Chinese. They also provide free shuttle boat.
Lovely rooms, great views and wonderful river side bar. About a 15 minute walk from Hua Lamphong train and MRT station. I don't like all the taxis/tuktuks out front trying to "take you for a ride," but not the hotels fault.

Great hotel, great view. All the rooms have river view.
Must deposit $100 either by cash or card. If you choose card, you will not see the deposit back into your account for 2 weeks after you ve checked out. If you choose cash, you will have to wait for them to inspect the room after you ve checked out. Both options are inconvenient. Also, it is way over priced for a normal hotel experience considering mini bar and breakfast are not included in the price of the room. For that I payed, I am expecting something better than just ordinary. Would recommend looking at better options for this price point. Don t let the name fool you.
Reception is incredibly cold and smells of cheap air freshner. Rooms are typical american standard. Not impressed.
