Loved it the second I walked in. Views are incredible and staff are so friendly. Amazing hotel!
The view is nice, good location, lovely boat transfer. But there are not several food. Seafood in the dinner is not fresh.
Five starred hotel and tower with all rooms facing chaopraya riverbank with swiming pool next to the river and also terrace pool .it offers free shuttle service to Sathorn pier,Thaksin BTS station and also Asiatique riverfront community mall .the room is very spacious with all comforts available , the best one is window with view of ChaoPraya river.
Unbelievable Hotel, u must be there in ur life once.
Views to the river, boat to the free iconsiam, general location
Good comfortable hotel. Of the minuses is old. Nearby there is no normal infrastructure you need to take a taxi. The kitchen is a bit lame in the evening in the restaurant. Zaatraki beautiful.
It s a very nice classic hotel. My favourite spot is the free form pool. It s like a little resort within a bustling city.
Many staff seemed to have work there for decades. Some could smile a bit more.
I have to say the rooms could do with an update. Quite visibly the chair in my room was damaged and the fabric part of the headboard was also quite visibly worn.
I would give it a 5 rating after an update.
Definitely would return if I choose to stay at the riverside again.
One of the most comfortable hotels I ever stayed at. And the Sheraton Club Lounge gets you away from all the crowds. The desk and office chair in our room are a great work space. The design layout and view of the river is first-rate.
The hotel is located directly on the Chao Praya River and therefore has the perfect location to go with the Klong boat from place to place. Very tasty breakfast and great facility.
The location of the hotel is great for exploring the city, right on the river with a beautiful view. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very generous and excellent!
Very beautiful hotel, spacious rooms, always clean, nice restaurants inside. Air conditioning is very cold in the lobby, but fortunately you can set it as you like in the rooms. There are 2 pools (one of which is particularly beautiful), a gym, and various shops inside. High prices, but high class services.
3 stars is an average rating. The location is great with a view from most restaurants and rooms on the river. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pools with the kids and the small garden from Portuguese embassy next door... Also, the provided cribs are much better than most hotels
Now, the hotel has aged. Design is not ideal with multiple floors and low ceilings. Rooms are fairly small. And the food is large in quantity but below average quality. Also, lots of led lights from TV and other electronic devices within the room need to be covered for a good night sleep...
Breakfast as well as facilities are excellent. I would like to go back if I have a chance.
Nice location with shuttle boat connection to/ from BTS station
Fantastic views over the river. Treatment and excellent facilities. Very well located
Perfect! Very attentive, staff also cares unsolicited. We had a wonderful view.
Just ok hotel. Slowly in need of renovation. Bathroom a little shabby.
There is a mixture of posts as to whether this is a 3 or 5 star hotel. Given the age, location, and amenities I would say it us pushing a 3 star. Location on the river across from a new shopping center, near transport and a 7 eleven. However we had to request our room to be cleaned everyday, the wall lamps had fallen off and been attached haphazardly. The bathroom was repaired during our stay. Carpets throughout the hotel were heavily stained. And the hotel staff members spoke in native language to each other laughing as they were checking us in, as if the joke was on us. It sure has felt that way after exploring other parts of Bangkok.
In this draw, the waterfront buffet food is not that delicious. Normally better than this, the staff at the Japanese food bar are frowning. Made the face when preparing the raw fish as if asking for it to eat If that day the younger is not comfortable working You can take a leave.
Improve a bit, a 5-star hotel is disappointing. Because being an edt customer for many years
Just come this time, disappointed.
Public areas are fantastic however the bedrooms are worn out and dated for the price.
The hotel has very good service, very nice and helpful staff, very delicious breakfast with great variety of choices, and very good grill restaurant. However, the maintenance of the guest room is poor. Although the room is clean, it seems it needs renovation.
Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers, an elegant 5-star hotel located in Thailand s capital Bangkok. Situated on the enchanting Chao Phraya River, all of our 726 guest rooms showcase unobstructed river views
Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers
A bit old hotel however have good view on the river
The magnificent Sheraton behind, the vast sweep of a bend in the River Chao Phray in front and on the far bank of the river the incomparable Icon Siam
Kindness and excellent availability only flaw the retro furniture!
Nice pools and great location. Breakfast is little pricey but it is excellent.
Sheraton's bed is very comfortable, the room is large, the view is very good, you can look at the entire Chao Phraya River.
Great location by the river and close to Chinatown, famous temples and boat rides everywhere.
This hotel really goes above and beyond for their guests. You will always be greeted with a smile. Certainly deserves 5+ stars!
Booked two rooms and both were upgraded to a higher floor. Staff were fantastic!
It was upgraded to a junior suite. The view from the room was very beautiful, especially the night view was the best.
Beautiful location and excellent hotel for business and pleasure
Well deserved 5-star rating for the great, quiet and relaxing location at the waterfront of the Chaopraya with two amazing pools and stunning views on the neighboring skyline. The service is superb. The interior has seen better days and the rooms would benefit from an upgrade, but all-in-all it s a great value-for-money! I ve been there twice and would even come back for a third time.
Amazing place to relax and enjoy life in a big city
Check-in is quite slow despite the lack of guests. Carrying a bag to the room The room will look a little old, the carpet smells musty. The glass on the table is not clean. The hot water in the bathroom is not hot. Ham in breakfast had a strange taste and smell, called the last employee to report that it had been replaced.
Beautiful Chao Phraya Ah hotel near the rivercity And there is a boat-pick-up service at Taksin Bridge The more art festival held at TCDC from the hotel, just a short walk away. Recommended.
The rooms are beautiful and have two swimming pools, perfect for a holiday.
The hotel needs ASAP a make over. Everything was very poor it was not clean the only 2 good things were the view and the towels ! Luckily we had to stay only 2 nights !!
Riverside grill. Good restaurant in sheraton. Nice view and good foods.
Best place to stsy in Bangkok......trust me its worth it.
Atmosphere along the Chao Phraya River The opposite side is Icon Siam Turn on the night light, very beautiful
Hotel located adjacent to the river well connected to the center. Recommended +++++
Service by the coinceirge is excellent. They give recommendations of amenities nearby , such as massages, even if this hotel provides it. Great!
I have stayed here many times and it always is a great pleasure. You'll find an old world friendly style, charm and chique. (i.e. Not like the glitzy gin palaces you get in Dubai)
It is a 5 star hotel with the same service as a 4 star hotel, not very impressed. The rooms are a bit old but reasonably maintained. (The wardrobe looks very antique) The toilet bowl has no spray hose. This is not very suitable for Thai people. The advantage is that there is a bathtub, but when taking a shower, you have to jump into the tub. Even more unsuitable for the elderly Kudos to the big TV (49 inches), the view from the room (2130), overlooking the Chao Phraya River, Rama VIII side, unable to see the ICONSIAM building. The breakfast is reasonably good. But also because of a lot of guests So it might seem a little chaotic. But the staff take good care of it.
Excellent hotel Well located, good views, good breakfast, good pool. Very good hotel to take incentive groups or company. Very good quality price and very good rooms. Totally recommended
Hotel has very nice ammenties. 2 pools, gym, sauna, and works. Even right next door to a mall. Has a really nice river front view. Ofcourse these are all the things you expect from an expensive hotel. Although, The lady who initially checked us in was not very friendly.
Grand old hotel with tall towers, lots of function rooms, weddings, government functions and tourist groups. There's a free shuttle that goes directly to Iconsiam across the way. Great views if you get the river facing rooms. The Club Lounge on 27th floor is fantastic. They have two pools, one of which is on the grounds of the Portuguese embassy next door. Great service all around
First Thailand
I booked and booked a very high price setting for New Year's Eve just to see the countdown fireworks.
Early check-in requested was not possible, and even if I returned to check-in at the designated time, it took time to check-in, and it was a hotel that felt nothing like the benefits of SPG.
Room which we expected did not look well because tension was obstructive even if we saw fireworks on lower floor, and this was also disappointing.
Great hotel situated along the river and close to many beautiful attractions. Friendly helpfull staff and delicious restaurants.
