The view is good and a free boat takes you to Thapan Thaksin Station. There are few Koreans in the club lounge, most of them are westerners, but the dress code is strict, but there is a small bar where you can feel classy. Happy hour is fun.

I stayed in both a double room and a suite. Even a double room is large enough and clean and very satisfying. The view is also great.

There were two pools. The pool for adults has a good view with the Chao Phraya River in front, and the illumination is beautiful at night Those who are crowded with children have a jacuzzi. Traveling with little kids, wait more than 1hour after checking because of my room is not be clean. No endless waiting and waiting. It's the worst expriement I have been.
We had a delightful week there. Staff were excellent, facilities fine, restaurants equally fine, location excellent. My wife liked everything, no complaints. A first!

I have seen better Hotels. The rooms are nice but the furniture is old and mostly broken.
The Staff is very friendly and is willing to help. The breakfast was ok but nothing special.

Excellent service! Free shuttle across the river to iconsium mall and much more. The Sheraton is conveniently located near everything. 15 minutes from Khao San Rd and very close to the city. Excellent atmosphere and felt very welcome upon arrival and check out. Thank you for the great service. Hope to come back to Bangkok soon.

Great location. Bad service. Expected much more from the Hilton name but breakfast reception looks like she was forced to wake up. Reception staff also had an attitude when I asked about roof top bar promotion.
I waited to get free shuttle at the water taxi station. It is one in 30 minutes, but it seems to wait for 40 minutes in the rain ...

All rooms are river views, so I don't think there will be any unfortunate views in any room. Even the city view on the other side from the corridor window is really nice. In the room where we stayed, we could see Wat Arun and the Royal Palace in the distance, and you can see the Icon Siam Fountain Show on the opposite line. But iKON Siam Fountain Show can be seen from the swimming pool sunbed!
All the staff in the hotel were nice and friendly. The shuttle boat service between iKON Siam and Sathorn Station was good, but the waiting time was not enough because it runs every 30 minutes. If you're going to Icon Siam, it's better to take the free shuttle boat run by Icon Siam from the dock next to Riverside Mall. It comes much more often.
I can't forget about the swimming pool, but I really liked the fact that it is divided into two, a pool that feels like a resort and a deep and wide pool where you can really enjoy swimming. There are many Westerners who come out to tan during the day, so I recommend swimming at night.
Actually, it's a really bad location for public transportation, but if you're willing to use a water boat without traffic jam, I don't think it's very difficult to get to and from the Old Town. Also, the road is less pushed than downtown areas like Asoke or Nana, so it's easy to grab and move. I spent 3 nights here and 4 nights in the downtown area, but I just regretted staying at Sheraton.
Since it was a long-established hotel, there were many areas of concern, such as cleanliness and service, but there is no old feeling, but the room was not dirty. As I said earlier, all the staff were friendly. I recommend it.

Stayed at the Royal Orchid Sheraton last week for a conference. It's a great hotel with nice facilities and good dining options. The room that I stayed in had a lovely view of the Chao Phraya river. It's not particularly near any BTS station, but the free shuttle boat provided by the hotel gets you to Saphan Taksin station within 10 minutes (the boat ride is rather relaxing and they provide you with a cold towel and water if you take the boat back to the hotel from the BTS station) and it's very convenient to take the BTS to the main shopping area from there. There's also a public ferry from the pier right next to the hotel that takes you to main tourist spots such as the Grand Palace as well as Wat Pho.

I visited it with my husband for our honeymoon. We spent a very good time in Bangkok and the hotel was perfect for us.
This was the best hotel ever, in a great position and very up to date. Restaurants very busy and expensive though.
