Great hotel on the river with fab views, good location to Bangkok attractions with taxis and tuk tuk out side and free river boat to the pier for conecting ferrys and sky train

We stayed for three days on our honeymoon. The quality of the good room, they offered us an upgrade passing in the suite after finding a cockroach in the room. Plentiful and varied breakfast, but a bit dislocated compared to the center and in a very poor area of the city.

Nice river view but from about 7pm every night huge party boats crank up the dance music, making sleep tricky before they go quiet around midnight. After that, expect any room neighbours to disturb you. Each room has a very loud doorbell, which staff and guests enjoy dinging constantly. The rooms are also poorly soundproofed. We booked a room with 2 queen beds, but they were actually doubles, so harder to co-sleep with small kids. We liked the gym and pools, although the pools are getting old and tatty. The door staff were excellent at helping to arrange taxis etc

Fantastic location, wonderful mixed drinks, cold beer and great hosts. All on the riverfront.

The amenities, room and customer service were fantastic. The reason not giving 5stars is because(evening) dining options were being combined and all restaurants were operating out of one kitchen with a single and VERY limited menu. Breakfast was good though.

A decent hotel with a GREAT view. Price was decent, staff was friendly, food was good. I was upgraded to a suite here for 1 night. I think for the price it's a good hotel, but I think it's priced low because it's a little dated when it comes to style and furniture. I'd stay again, but there are so many hotels in this city that I wouldn't go out of my way too, it wasn't spectacular, but it above average for the price.

The waterfront hotel crosses to the opposite side, comfortable, without traffic problems, resting comfortably near the department store, beautiful waterfront in the Venetian style, thinking of Thai people in a globalized world

Great location and atmospher. The rooms are very clean. We have access to the club lounge, which had a nice breakfast, tea time and happy hour.

Only problem is you can't open the window so the room is not airy

Riverside Hotel Good service, had been able to eat buffet, had a good standard Most recently I went to eat afternnon tea. The dish is very delicious. Tea only has a tea bag but free flow, so you can order many things worth it.

Breakfast is like the sales. Too busy. By the time you reach your table, your food is cold!
Staff is very friendly, rooms are okay

Old hotel, unfriendly staff compared to price range, old room condition ... Pool was not good, too. Breakfast is not too much ... We recommend you to go to Shangri-la hotel with a few extra money!

A great hotel! Cleanliness and hospitality are just the first features you'll notice! The food is excellent and the breakfast buffet allows you to have a completely different breakfast every morning! Superior rooms are really comfortable and spacious. The swimming pools on the first and second floors are beautiful. The price of the minibar in the room is, perhaps, a bit exaggerated but on the other hand you will have 4 bottles of water completely free every day!
In conclusion I recommend it to full 5 stars!

Breakfast is not good.
Room is old and not good enough. It is nice to be able to enjoy the river on the riverside, but there is tension on all floors, and fireworks are halved in the way.
The exclusive boat is GOOD with good ride.
We stayed because there was a room where smoking was possible, but over 50,000 in the New Year's room with a standard room. I stayed for 2 nights but found no value and no repeat.

I've had a really pleasant stay at this place. As is the case pretty much everywhere that I've been in Thailand, the staff is extremely courteous and polite. The rooms are well furnished and beautifully designed and have a lovely view of the Chao Praya River. The facilities are amazing and overall, I've had a highly pleasurable experience.

Absolutely stunning hotel. Everything from the service, food, rooms, cleanliness, pool, etc. The only drawback is that it's not really walkable to many places. It's not that big of a deal because taxis are cheap and there is a complimentary boat that transports you to places along the river. If you can afford it, stay at the Royal Orchid Sheraton.

5 star hotel with good facility and service. massage shops are 50M away from hotel gate. i recommend thai massage 1.5hour(US$15, including tip). i felt all the muscle are stretched. free shuttle boat service to sky train station nearby.

We went to Giorgios Italian restaurant.
Fantastic location and river views. Service was inattentive and slow. After waiting an hour for our food, we cancelled and left.

The subway line is not as good as the expensive hotel, but the hospitality is never less than breakfast

Great view from the rooms, great service and prople. Food can be better though.

Good hotel with a great location right on the river. Had a room with a river view. You can reach many sights on foot or by tuktuk. The rooms are unfortunately very shabby and worn out. The lobby is very well designed and invites you to linger. The breakfast is very rich and delicious there is hardly anything that is not available. We recommend. Only the breakfast area is reminiscent of a canteen, it is loud and narrow. The outdoor area with its two pools is good. The staff is actually, like everywhere in Thailand, very courteous and nice.
Unfortunately, I can only give 3 stars because of the worn rooms.

As a small tip, taking a taxi is an adventure in terms of price. Negotiate the price beforehand or insist that the taximeter be switched on otherwise it can be expensive.

location of hotel is not good, far from good food, shopping and night life

Great place to stay, with great views, great location with a very helpful and professional staff. Our first time in Bangkok, so glad we decided to stay here! Recommend you upgrade to the club room, comes with breakfast in the club room or your room! Cocktails and food complimentary during happy hour. Free shuttle service to railway and shopping.

For a Sheraton hotel, you can stay a lot cheaper. I think that's what it is in terms of price, but I can be very satisfied because it treats even more luxury. However, although I should have selected a plan with Wi-Fi, I could not use it for a fee. The way of contract may have been bad, but I would like you to set a price that is easier to use or have a free place to use. I think the size of the room varies, but there are many places that can be used relatively widely. If you just want to spread the floor quite large, it may be a bit tough.

Went for a private function with great Swedish crayfish raised in Thailand! Super! Also say in the lobby bar for a few beers, very good service, but a tad expensive! 5 star!

We had dinner at the hotel in their buffet restaurant Feast. We had a lovely meal, the buffet is our favorite of several we have tried while in Bangkok. We used an app called eatigo which allows us to have a 50% discount on the regular price.

The food selection is very good, with various Thai, Indian and Western items. I would like to see a small selection of soad or juice to be included with the buffet. The smoke salmon and grilled seafood was very good. Thai food was delicious and authentic.

One problem was there was a mistake by eatigo, a 200 baht discount which I showed them since I had proof of acceptance of the promotion code (screen shot of the reservation) they did not give us the discount and said they could not override the price. Something I find problematic being a major change.

Finally, if you are using a credit card ask to see what currency they are charging, I failed to ask thinking it would be in dollars instead of bahts so I was cheated due to the exchange rate. This is not a good thing to not be asked which currency one want to be charged

Beautiful river view. Traditional Thai food. Of course more expensive than from a street vendor, but the service and the view make it well worth it. Very friendly with children and the vegetarians in our group. Perfect for the out-of-town visitors. The traditional Thai dancing show is quite subdued and does not interfere with dinner.

The hotel location is perfect. For me, I had a walking experience to visit few temples. It's also near to the malls. My room was a River view, and I had it in a special floor #23 for SPG members only. It was clean, and equipped with everything you would need.

hotel located in a strategic location (near the ferry boat stop and metro), nice rooms, spacious (recommended the rooms have river view), great breakfast, beautiful pe two pools. Definitely a great base for a city tour. extremely professional and kind staff

It feels old as a whole, but it is kept clean and has a profound sense of luxury.
Employees are also well educated and have a good impression.

This hotel often gets stars knocked off by other reviewers because of the rooms & dated decor but I'm happy to give it 5 stars. Here's why...
- location is great, on the river, across from IconSiam mall, taxis take you from the door to anywhere, other food places & cafes dotted outside
- check in & check out smooth and easy
- 2 pools, 1 of which (the garden pool) is a little oasis away from the city. I live in Bangkok city and it's rare to stay in the city and feel like you're not in it. Their garden pool is relaxing and quiet
- awesome food. In fact, the best fish & chips I've had outside of England (lunch at the garden pool). Breakfast has more than enough choices for all tastes - thai green curry, fried rice with shrimp, pork buns, eggs, bacon, pastries etc etc.
- our room was high on the 22nd floor with a stunning view across the Chao Phraya River. No, the rooms and hotel are not as glamorous as their Marriott Marquis hotel in the city or the Millennium Hilton across the river but they are totally adequate for a good stay. Wifi, air con, bed comfort were all excellent though. If you're expecting and need the most stunning decor then don't stay here.

If you want a great stay on the river, great location, friendly staff, nice food, good facilities (gym, pools, spa etc), clean & adequate-enough rooms, good wifi, good air con, 2 relaxing pools to choose from, then don't hesitate to book!

One of the best and recommended hotels in Bangkok and that is because it is very accessible to Public transport, market, and the malls. The rooms and spacious and cozy.

Great rooms even if like in every place in bankok the air conditioning remains at the maximum ... for eating breakfast a lot of choice on the foreign kitchens ... for the Italian European one not a lot but cmq higher than the average
