We were here to celebrate a friend's wedding and put up here for 2 nights. Service staff are professional, amicable and well mannered. We are greeted by the view of the river and Bangkok's landscape upon checking into the room. Rooms are fresh, clean, well maintained and stocked with basic amenities. There's a shopping mall and convenience store right beside the hotel. There are food stalls housed along the straight road when you make an exit from the hotel; authentic, tasty and cheap Thai food awaits!

The hotel and staff are wonderful. Fantastic location. The views from the room are breathtaking on the river. Easy to use the river to get to many sites and avoid Bangkok traffic. The rooms are very comfortable, the breakfast buffet is huge and wonderful and the staff are superb. The concierge and staff are patient and helpful. As just one amazing example, I forgot a zipsak of clothes in a drawer in the hotel. When I got home I assumed it had been stolen from my bag at the airport. Then a week later I remembered putting the bag in the drawer in this hotel. I called housekeeping directly. Within an hour they emailed me back that my bag was found and gave me options of how I could have it returned. It has been two weeks since we returned from the Royal Orchid and my zipsak just arrived via DHL yesterday. Everything there as I left it. ONLY IN THAILAND. I will never stay anywhere else.
Loved this place. Friendly staff. You cannot afford to miss breakfast while there. They have a beautiful spread. Pick rooms on a higher level for better views of the river. Hotel has a river boat that is free for guests staying there. Concierge were always helpful when we needed to go somewhere. Had a lovely time here.
We got an upgraded room with the view of Chao Phraya River. It was really romantic. The room was as good as in the pictures. There are two pools, one is by the river and the other is in the garden. The garden pool and a bar. I had coconut shake. It was delicious and refreshing! Unexpectedly, there were several peacocks walking along the pool. We had Thai dinner sets at the hotel restaurant. There was a Thai traditional dance show during our dining. Both the food and the show were pleasant.

I stayed in Room No. 807, lovely spacious room with two double cots with quilts.
A mini bar is available at the room with a Chivas Regal 500ml, a Beef Eater Gin 350 ml and chilled beer Heineken 330ml x 2nos., Chang 330 x 2nos., etc.
In the rooms Iron box is available and hairdryer too. The most I like was the river view from my room.
A spacious meeting hall which may accommodate 500 pax at a time.
There are two swimming pools available 1 is at the first floor and another on the ground floor.
'The feast' dining hall is simply great with wide spread continental cuisine caters quite a large number of people at a time.
I stayed 5 days in this hotel. The hotel location and the view is very beautiful. Stuffs are well behaved and bother breakfast and in room dining is tasty. Well decorated and large space in side the hotel. Room size is good. Swimming pool is very good and there is ferry pont behind the hotel to travel the river which is awesome. Overall the hotel is good.

This is an older property in Bangkok near the river but has been maintained very well. The usual gracious hospitality if the Thai staff is seen. The breakfast buffet was excellent
Overall a nice hotel with some things I'd change. On checking my room smelled of smoke I talked to the staff and they asked to take care of it while I was out for the evening. I returned and found an air ionizer and still a smell but it was late so I dealt with it until day 2. Next day got a new room the staff was great about that and all was well. The view of the river was quite nice. My bed was comfortable and the lobby bar was a great place to wind down. Pool was large and fitness center was modern. Location was a bit out of the way for most things but Transit is very cheap. Lots of business travelers here.
Water side room are nice and big. Confort is ok. Elevators a pretty slow be ready to wait. Staff is nice and competent. I realy liked the outdoor swiming pool in the garden.
Ok place to stay. But poor front desk service. Don t even know how to talk properly to their loyal customers (we were platinum members). Shame on them. Will not come back.
In all rooms river view, the view of the relaxed river became healing, and it was possible to enjoy glimpse of people's movement and life. The front desk, the concierge, the people in the pool, we all responded with a smile to us who can not speak English. (If you can speak Japanese, it's better, but ...) There are two pools, and peacocks are free-ranging (?) Or dove was bathed by poolside of garden pool

A wonderful business and tourist hotel. Was here for a corporate event. It stands next to the riverbank and provides a wonderful view. A touch expensive for a tourist who would want to stay overnight. I have seen many other hotels offer free usage of the mini bar but here it was chargeable. The river side pool area and bar are nice places to spend time together with the team.
The service was too low for a really unpleasant stay.
We will show you a low-grade room at check-in It is said that cleaning is not completed even at the check-in time, so please wait. When asked why the check-in time was not over, I started to arrange lower grade rooms or lower floors than I had reserved. It is the hotel's responsibility not to finish cleaning by the appointment time, but it doesn't make sense to know why we are trying to lower this grade.
Racial discrimination by the pool Correspondence with white people is too different. The white man had to stop by Nico Nico and himself to provide a courteous service, but he ignored the Japanese even though he had spoken to him. Despite being in Thailand for a long time, this is the first time that the attitude has been explicitly changed.
Coming in before checkout At around 10 o'clock before check-out, the room chime rang when I was soaking in the bathtub. If he rushes out, he says, "Check the contents of the refrigerator." When he told me it was no good because he tried to force his way through the door gap, he went out of grumpy. The relaxation time is spoiled.
Check out It was crowded, and there was a line to complete the procedure, but people who came directly to the front desk without lining up corresponded. The people lined up looking at each other's faces.

There are plenty of hotels in Bangkok that both have a good view and a more comfortable service. I will never come again and I do not recommend using it.
It's not modern, but it's not a very old hotel. All the staff were so friendly that I stayed so happy And the icon siam was created on the other side, so the shiny view got better
I went for the New Year's Eve celebration that was advertised as an after party to the early dinner cruise. It wasn't open to us for an hour after the dinner cruise and it was advertised as a rooftop celebration; however it wasn't. They don't have a rooftop bar. Finally, there was no seating reserved for us. It was not the best New Year's Eve celebration.
This was my second time in this amazing hotel. Royal Orchid Sheraton is one of my favorite places in Bangkok. The staff is so kind and friendly, the room is really big with the most comfortable bed ever! We had the best view looking at the river, and the breakfast was just amazing! There was plenty of food to choose, and the restaurant near the river was just beyond the words. The best lobster we ever tried! Also, there were two swimming pools, so we could choose which one do we like the most, and we had amazing time there, drinking some cocktails and enjoying the quiet time, just relaxing. I can t wait to come back again, because this is my favorite hotel in Bangkok!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Even though this is a very busy hotel you feel a personalised treatment. We particularly enjoyed the garden pool, the breakfasts and the executive lounge. The food up there was great and I would highly recommend this for anyone, go on, treat yourself.
A luxury hotel let down by its staff/policies. Although polite and friendly, the level of service at this hotel is far below that of other hotels in Thailand. Staff were negligent of clearing tables in the restaurant on each occasion we dined there and were unsympathetic towards us remaining in the restaurant while we waited for our room to be available despite the check in time passing. Apologies and gratuities we given, but the impression had already been made. The suites were excellent and well kept and the facilities and location cannot be called, but better experiences can be had very nearby.
The hotel is a pearl in the city of Bangkok, very beautiful and well maintained. It has very large common areas and the breakfast room has a wide choice of dishes considering also the most disparate origins of customers. The room is nice, spacious and clean, has a great view of the city and the Chao Praya river. The only comment is the polar air conditioning that they keep in the common areas, too cold. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful. If you need to go somewhere they help you understand with getting there and how to do it.
Great place to stay. Outstanding amenities: rooms for business, computer stations, 2 swimming pools, one with a wading pool, well supplied exercise room, restaurants, and bars. All staff speaks very good English, from the manager to the room cleaning. If you want restaurant food, they have 3 full restaurants, and if they don't fit your tastes, they are within a short walk to many others. If street food is what you're looking for (that was my preference) there are several stalls right outside. The streets felt very safe at night. My wife and I walked around several blocks and never felt threatened. Icon Siam, Thailand's newest and nicest indoor mall is right across the river, with free shuttle boat service provided by the hotel. If that's not what you're looking for, the free shuttle boat continues downriver to where you can catch the skytrain to points downtown.
Nice hotel, rooms all overlooking the river. Staff friendly and helpful, the outside bar is very pleasant in the evening. Good central location, very convenient for sightseeing.
We had gone to many buffets in both Singapore and Bangkok. While most were disappointing, the buffet at the Feast was a wonderful experience for us. There are plenty of hot and cold items to choose from. The sushi was very fresh. All of the staff were attentive. Would recommend it to everyone.

Nice hotel right on the water. Very good service and nice extras. Usually 5 stars, but the competition in Bangkok is so strong (for example, the Hilton directly across the street - would have been even cheaper) that it only reaches 4 ...
Huge hotel on the Chao Praya River banks. All rooms with River view. We had the best available view to include the new shopping mall Icon Siam . Two nice Pools on the Terrace and in the Garden with beautiful Peacocks. Sun beds were never completely occupied. Nice swim up bar. Also a wonderful chill out terrace right on the river banks. There is a cook shop street kitchen in front of the hotel offering Fantastic authentic food
Magnificent place, which expresses a level of international hospitality with the Thai style, that is, total devotion to the customer, offering excellent services and cuisine, in a strategic position to reach the main points of Bangkok. It stands on the banks of the Chao Phraya River and has a private pier for cruises. My suites were clean and spacious, the consumables of a good standard and the rich continental breakfast, one of the richest I've ever seen.
Great welcome, quick check in, smiling faces, everyone wanting to help. Apart from the CC issue which was no fault of theirs, just mismanaged as I had forgotten the company card at home. My stay was pleasant and comfortable. Staff was caring, and room service was quick. Location is great right on the river across from the IconSiam and loads of local restaurants and coffee shops around. Well done, keep up the good work.
