Friendly staff, awesome view of the river, some very surprisingly good food at the hotel restaurants, room was great, good facilities. Had a great time.

Pool, staff and rooms are nice. Breakfast is good too. Close to robinsons shopping center.

Having buffet dinner at feast. Staff providing very good services and smile, though a bit old style, but I feel comfortable here.
Be honest food are only ok, with not much variety, but price are unbelievably cheap. If your Kid under 10, you must go there! Kid are free under 10 :)

The Royal Orchid Sheraton is a very good place. It faces the river and the boat dock is located around the hotel, making it easy to get to things that can be reached by boat from heavy traffic Bangkok. The hotel also operates its own shuttle, so it is very easy to get around. In particular, Icon Siam is too comfortable to go.
The room is a bit old and may smell, but if it smells, you can change it or give you an air purifier. The view is also good as the room is facing the river.
The swimming pool has a swimming pool overlooking the river and a green swimming pool where you can relax here and there according to your mood.
The staff are friendly and helpful especially with the concierge. However, due to the large number of tourists, the lobby is a little crowded when tourists arrive.

Nice ambience and great hotel... Hospitality is at par of the country and convenient access to the boat jetty...

This hotel has great service but it s outdated and desperately needing a face lift. Still a well appointed hotel with a convenient & free boat in the rear of the hotel to take you across the river to a huge mall.

Breakfast - second best thing that can happen in the morning, because the first was the view over Bangkok from the higher floors. Both rated 5star !

As it was Sheraton, the building is old but renovations are also performed and it doesn't feel so old. Construction of a large shopping center and a residence (luxury apartment?) Is being carried out on the other side of the river, and together with the speed boat, it is too loud to fit poolside. In addition, in the past, wifi in the room was free but it was free. The cafe latte asked for breakfast before.

You may like the place, but personally I would like to stay in Bangkok with priority. The architecture is old, but renovations are also taking place and I do not care so much. Is the water pressure of the shower a little weak? There is street art in the surroundings, the club lounge has a good view, the staff can communicate well, and the pool is very nice. You can meet peacocks in the garden pool! It is a strange place, but there are also convenience stores and small supermarkets, there are many places where you can eat, there are plenty of massage shops, and there are some favorite cafes if you move the river, there is no shortage. Cocktail time has a dress code for which short bread is prohibited. Crocs are fine. If I go to the center I think grab is easier, but I can go by bus. It's a lot of fun as the ship doesn't usually get on. The N3 peer next to the hotel seems to be divided into two, and it is important to note that the boats that each stop are different.

I think the service is very good. Stick a little when serving wine. Should not hold a glass that is already added to serve. But should take the bottle and pour it into the customer table

Relatively good hotel, although it has deteriorated a lot. Rooms are in need of renovation.
The offer of food in the club lounge has decreased considerably, it is also often overcrowded and the staff does not come afterwards to serve or clear away.
But the view is pretty nice. Nice view over Bangkok.

As a riverside hotel, Chao Phaya has everything you call.

My wife and I did a bike tour starting from here. The security and concierge people were not helpful. The location and building were clean. We did run into a group that had comeback from a dance party and we're loitering the lobby and the concierge didnt do anything about it.

It's a great hotel, but it has a difficult location. Shuttleboot is up to bts. It would be very nice to use it. However, it is far to Metro. I think that it is very good to spend quietly

My favorite hotel in Bangkok. Every room has a view of the river. They have their own private boat that takes you to the sky train station every 30 minutes. The hotel is near Chinatown which I believe is the center for best eats in Bangkok.

The breakfast room didn't have much to eat either.

Another reason I come to Thailand every time, I haven't seen a lot of Thai smiles here.
It is understandable considering that it is not a resort hotel but a city hotel where many people are looking for business.

Really great hotel, truly a five star experience and their concern for details is great. To give an example, we have stayed at several hotels which have a shuttle boat, but this hotel served cold water and provided cold towel to us to help us keep cool. It is the little things!
The food was really good and the staff very nice and attentive. Quite convenient location close to a small shopping mall (new and still empty space though), a very nice Coffee Place and close to other restaurants.
The staff offered an upgrade to a room high up with a great view of the river, which was very nice. Also, the staff was really nice to my 9 year old daughter and she was really really happy. The pool was very nice and the birds walking around the area are unusual view!

Great place to stay. Exceptional amenities: 2 swimming pools with business center, one swimming pool, well-equipped exercise room, restaurants and bars. All the staff speak very good English until cleaning the room from the manager. If you want to eat in the restaurant, there are 3 full restaurants and if you don't meet your taste, a short walk to the others. If street food is what you're looking for (this is my choice) you have a few benches outside. The streets felt very safe at night. My wife and I walked around a few blocks and didn't feel threatened at all. Thailand's newest and most beautiful indoor shopping center, Simam Siam, is on the opposite side of the river with a free shuttle boat provided by the hotel. If this is not what you're looking for, the free shuttle boat continues to land down where you can move the city center towards the sky.

Lovely large hotel along the river. Free shuttle that takes you to iconsiam mall and to sathorn pier to travel beyond. Breakfast was a wide variety and quality experience. Coffee shop and downstairs bat was friendly. Up in the club rooms staff are very attentive. My room was spacious and comfortable with both bath and separate shower. I recieved a small tray of fruit and chocolate each day. The food at snack and cocktails times was really good too.
Alm in all a very good experience and worth returning for.

It is a very good hotel, rooms are good in size with the river view that stuns you every morning. Breakfast is great with lots of variety of food. The hotel has free boat to the other side of the river where you can go to the mall. Would love to stay there again

The location is not so good for people of action. The room is relatively old. Light leaks from the gap of the door, shower water pressure weak, toilet flow bad, no washlet.
Because there are two boule, for those who want to taste the resort building.

A very nice place to spend your leisure time in Bangkok . It was a very nice experience to stay in there. But the receptionist and service need to be train more . We were having problem using the elevator. But no one come help. We have to go call the reception.

Very friendly service and easy access to the bts and the river taxies through their free shuttle boat. The room was nice and they gave us a free upgrade to the 26th floor so we had a great view of the river.

Because of the river, the view at the room and breakfast was pleasant! On the other hand, the age of the buildings made the rooms noticeable. Access is delicate, too and feels that cospa is not so good.
