Top class hotel with a breathtaking view on Bangkok from the room and from the lounge bar. The bed in the room is very comfortable, and the whole hotel is clean. The breakfast is one of the best I have ever had in hotels, and the staff is really amazing and helpful.
Amazing service, well worth the promotion. I paid 4 nights for the price that is normally one, plus 1000thb daily credit and free buffet breakfast. Some minor details could be addressed has the juices at breakfast are not fresh made.
Some of the food also seemed a bit cheap and under quality for a 5 stars hotel, the hams and cheese lacked flavour.
Big plus the location with access to the garden pool, which is located in Portuguese soil, under Embassy land.
Staff amazingly helpful. Another flaw - they dont have no medical advisor or even some pills for indigestions, headhaches or minor health issues.

I've been staying here on every vacation to Bangkok for 20 years. The hotel is well kept & the staff are extremely professional which means as helpful as possible. The location is excellent, near China town, great shopping and restaurants galore. The view of the river is as good as it gets. I needed a tooth fixed, they got me in to see an excellent dentist who replaced my restoration in hours. River City antique mall is connected to this hotel by a sky bridge, wow!

Made a special effort for our honeymoon with a lovely lay out in our room and a cup cake. We ate at the Buffet Restaurant and the Grill. Both sat out by the river. Stunning view and amazing food.

Location is poor in Bangkok. It will take you forever to get anywhere, or to get back.
However, the service and amenities at the hotel are spectacular. We stayed for a week and it was wonderful.

The Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel Bangkok is located right next to the Chao Phraya River. You can take the hotel's free transportation boat to the shopping center on the other side, or take the public ferry dock next to the hotel to the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew. This place is amazing, no words to describe how staff treat you outstanding service, the pools are great, one for swimming one for relax whith bar and food no need to get out the water.

It s on riverside and nice weather in Dec. However, food taste is so so. We ordered grilled salmon and it was served on big portion. If you want the river view, i recommended here but not wow food here. One last thing, staff is polite and working with service mind.

Great hotel for the location is lost a bit in the small details. We stayed there twice and the first time there was no shower gel, meaning there was only one for three people, the beds were a little small, I recommend if you are a couple to take the king size The staff is kind. Excellent free luxury boat that takes you to the station and across the river. Our rooms had a spectacular view of the truly breathtaking river we will definitely be back.

There are people playing traditional instruments in the lobby, and the people who guide the lobby are friendly. The view of the Chao Phraya River was good, and the Temple of Dawn can be seen from a distance.
You can get off at Icon Siam and Sapan Taksin Stations by using the free shuttle provided by the hotel. You can take a free shuttle from Saphantansik Station to Asiatique.

2 nights as part of 2 week Thailand holiday. Good kids' pool. Peacocks strolling around. Get the river boat upstream from Pier 3 - right out of reception then immediate right.
Room a bit old. Food, bars and service absolutely outstanding! Excellent Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Two pools, one with pool bar. Hotel own boat to the skytrain. Free water in the room. I will definitely go back here again.
Beautiful location right next to chaophraya river as well as few minutes away from BTS. Nearest places are worth watching tourist attractions china town, silom, phaurat are closer lots of Temples to see. Overall perfect place for peace of mind.

Stayed in a suite. Room size is okay. Amenities is complete. Hotel may he a little old in general. Weird rules at lounge. Have to go in long pants and shoe. They are kind enough to lend you a pair if you don't have one but just ridiculous to insist on this.
