Always a great place for a live concert. But if you enjoy light classical music and a great atmosphere, then the Annual 'Classical Spectacular' is the one concert you simply must not miss! Absolutely top world class evening! 5 stars.

Seeing a performance at the royal albert hall is simply an experience like no other. Bathing in the overwhelming aura of grandiose architecture, It's almost difficult to focus on the event. That's until the music starts of course. Resounding around you from above and the stage, it's quite simply and awesome experience.

Always an experience from start to finish. Just being here is special. I should probably take a star off because the acoustics are less than perfect in some of the boxes, but I love the place so much, I don't have the heart to.

Magnificent building on the outside and inside! A tribute to architecture and style. Beautiful stairs leading to the main hall, nice lounge's for the breaks but also great performances especially for Christmas...

Lovey place to visit. But the Christmas orchestral adventure was not what we expected. Was mainly for the under 12 Year old. More like a pantomime but not as funny. Expected more Christmas music than we got. Should have been displayed on your site when booking.

I enjoyed the Proms sometime, when I lived near London... The Royal Albert Hall is a concert hall on the northern edge of South Kensington, London. It is one ot the most treasured and distinctive buildings in London. It can seat more than 5,000 people... Since the hall's opening by Queen Victoria in 1871, the world's leading artists from many performance genres have appeared on its stage. It is the venue for the Proms concerts, which have been held there every summer since 1941. It is host to more than 390 shows in the main auditorium annually, including classical, rock and pop concerts, ballet, opera, film screenings with live orchestral accompaniment, sports, awards ceremonies, school and community events, and charity performances...

Been a few times, most recently to see concerts. The staff are polite and helpful. We were advised where our seats were and they were easy to find with these directions. The bar was a tad slow and a bit expensive however not unusual for a venue like this. The seats were comfortable enough for the performance and as clean as I would expect for a such busy venue. I would definitely book tickets for shows here in the future. Building is super stunning! Thanks :-)

The most beautiful venue in London . You have 2 great restaurants within, with reasonably priced food and friendly helpful waiters. The venue is host to a variety of shows ranging from classical to modern, to Musicals, as well as live movie orchestral renditions ! Definitely worth going for food and a show :)

The auditorium is beautiful and the swivel seats afforded a great view without a stiff neck. However, the bar food is expensive and there was nowhere to sit as there were too many guests with no purchased food or drink taking up seats - front of house staff need to move them on.

What an amazing building. Did the 1 hr tour which was excellent. Just long enough and gave you chance to soak up the atmosphere of this beautiful historic Hall. Will have to return to see a performance one day....

A wonderful venue for all styles of musical events and shows. Acoustics are good. Bars and restaurants on site with wide choice staff are really helpful. My last visit was the Mark Knopfler concert who played many of the Dire Straits songs plus great songs from later albums. Just magnificent.

Went for the Christmas carols on 23rd December. The hall is extremely well done up (minus the scaffolding outside) and the show exceptional. Good facilities and bars, albeit expensive. Knocking a star for scaffolding and bar prices. Warm, fuzzy feelings all round.

Amazing venue for Cirque du soleil, what a wonderful show. Drinks are horrendously overpriced. Toilets were out of order on our floor so had to use the ones on the floor below. Seats were surprisingly comfortable compared to our local theatre in Bristol. Staff very helpful and polite. I hear the tour here is very good too.

We had a wonderful afternoon here. Followed by a stroll into the park behind around the lake. A lovely pay of London and any event here is worth taking in. There were lots of tourists in to see the Christmas Carol Concert. Lovely to see

Lovely tea, the food was very good, presented elegantly and we enjoy the variety and it was actually quite a lot! Beautiful to look at. Service was slow, we actually had to seek someone out to get our champagne, I had to request a new tea cup because it was chipped with a crack through it. Overall not bad, I expected music or more ambiance in the room, but maybe I just built up expectations because of the "Royal" and high tea. Good to do, dont know that I'd make it a priority if you are limited on experience time during your travels.

Beautiful place - both exteriors and interiors are stunning. I visited to see the ballet and to be honest from every seat there's great view. Sound system great. Staff very helpful and nice. Huge toilets queues though but mind you that they built Royal Albert Hall without toilets actually. Bars available on each floor. Definately a must see place when visiting London.

What a stunning building, the very minute you step into the Royal Albert Hall you are filled with history and the knowledge that so many famous people have graced it's halls. The interior is stunning and every performance I've seen here has been nothing less than captivating.

The upper tier seating is very very small for anyone who is quite tall, coming up to the interval we did ask if they had anywhere else with a little more leg room and they were able to accommodate our request and moved us to a different seating area. The venue is lovely and clean all the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We really enjoyed the show put on by the Redbridge children.

This summer when my wife and I were in London, we went on one of the tours of The Royal Albert Hall. The price was right but we felt like our guide had given one too many tours and seemed a little uninspired as he shared little tidbits about the great hall. The best part was sitting in and listening to a rehearsal of the evening s concert but if you decide to pay for a tour, I d recommend that go earlier in the day so that you get the benefit of a guide who is just starting his or her day!

I have been to the RAH on many occasions over the years and for different events, from the BBC Proms and other classical concerts to other rock concerts, and most recently watching The Empire Strikes Back play with a live orchestra. Stepping in the hall always gives me the chills and fills me with excitement. Probably one of the most beautiful venues I've ever been to so worth going just to see the inside and experience an event there. Highly recommended.

Came here for our anniversary. My husband bought tickets for the tour and the afternoon tea. Beautiful afternoon. The tour was absolutely fantastic well worth it for all the history and interesting points. And the afternoon tea finished off the day perfectly. There was an opera singer in the tearoom whilst we were dining on their home brew and eating fabulous cakes!

This is a legendary venue in central London! So many concerts have take place over the years, it's hard to sum it all up in a few words. If you have the chance to see a concert here, go! The floor seats give a better view than the boxes, and depending on where you are it can sound a little echoey.

Have been to three different events at the Royal Albert Hall: The Coors, Cirque de Sol and Madam butterfly. The hall is an amazing space for all kinds of performances. The private boxes are great if you can get a seat in one. Staff will deliver drinks and food right to your seats.

Good looking and presigious venue but some issues with acoustics. This is based on my last three visits to RAH. The first was Jethro Tull where I was at the highest tier of the RAH. The sound quality was so bad at that level that I asked for a refund- and got it. My second experience was Gary Numan where I was mid level and sound was adequate. My most recent was Hawkwind where I was ground level Arena and the sound was best of all my visits.

Arrived a few minutes late due to traffic. Asked a young lady staff member for help finding our seats with other family members but as Caroline was in her wheelchair and the row was so long it would have been disruptive to get to our seats. We were asked if we minded sitting elsewhere where it would be easier for us to get seated. No problem we said! Taken down one floor and given a box of our own! Could not fault the decision and the show was utterly fantastic too! A great evening out! Thanks Royal Albert Hall!

Came here for the Christmas Carols and it was a great evening. We had great views from where we were sitting but unfortunately my chair was not the most stable and therefore not the most comfortable. My partner didn't seem to have the same issue. The mulled wine was not the best, I would recommend going for something else. Queues can get quite big, so be prepared to sit in line for a while.

Took a 1 hour tour of R.A.H. in morning. Amazing place. Tour guide did a great job explaining history of R.A.H. A must see in Kensington U.K. area. Visited spring 2019. Hyde Park across the street from R.A.H. The print hanging on the wall with people riding horses was the Great-Exhibition-of-1851 at Hyde Park.

Stunning venue, my favourite place really, you do get vertigo in the higher seats as they are a bit steep so if you aren t sure it is worth paying a little extra to be lower or if there s enough of you do go for a box as that is a lovely treat and you feel a bit like a Royalty but due to the shape of the venue I have found anywhere you sit gives a tremendous view. The acoustics in there are amazing. I saw the Philharmonic Orchestra yesterday and quite honestly I had goosebumps it was magical. Staff are very friendly and if you do need to drive there they do offer reasonably priced parking (book via their website) it is only a short walk away.

Visited the Royal Albert Hall on two occasions in the past month - to see Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back in Concert and Skyfall in Concert. Both events were fantastic, and pretty much every seat in the venue has a great view. Ticket prices for events are very reasonable and the staff are very polite and attentive.

Wonderful experience at Cirque Du Soleil. Truly unforgettable. The hall was beautiful and the seating was spacious and no heads in my view from the row in front at all! Toilets are insufficient for the venue and huge queues even for the men. Toilets smelt strongly of urine and trim was falling apart. Would attend again.

Lovely old building, security is tight which is a good sign. Disabled access and toilets, staff extremely helpful. The Royal Albert hall offer a free carer ticket so they can come with you. To be honest, the views are perfect from any seats. Parking is available, if you ring up and book before hand. Limited spaces outside with double yellow lines, so you maybe able to park with a disabled badge. Restaurants inside for pre show dining. Cafe available, but the prices are expensive, so take your own food

Beautiful venue to view a show! We had the cheaper seats right at the back up high - we still had a great view but were definitely a bit removed from the whole atmosphere up top. Keep an eye out for the box with the crown above it and see if the Queen is there!

Awesome building , fantastic sound , sat in a box so great view but not the most comfortable of seats & no seat numbers which caused a seating mix up despite being shown to our ( wrong ) seats by an Albert hall assistant. Drinks abit pricey ( but it's London ) . Overall a Fantastic venue & a great night out ( we went to the Teenage cancer trust gig headlined by Levellers ) .

SPECTACULARLY SPECTACULAR.... Where to start with London's favourite concert hall. Well you should begin with a guided tour of the building, discover the ghost stories, the stars who performed here and why Queen Victoria was so intent to bring culture to the British masses. Then you should attend a concert here. And there is no better concert series in the world than the BBC Proms (July - September). A series of up to 3 concerts a day for nearly three months. There is really truly something for everyone. No other City in the world can make this claim and that's what draws the names, year after year. And if you're unlucky enough to be in town for Proms - you can still get amazing value tickets by taking a balcony pitch, bring a blanket, a sandwich and a drink and find out what the fuss is all about. No visit to London is complete without a concert at the RAH - so don't miss it!

It is one of the best halls in London. The place has shows of all variety and it depends on the season what kind of artists would be performing there. The hall has had legends like Stephen Hawking and Christopher Nolan visiting for shows. Would recommend this experience as one of the must dos in the city of London.

An historic and beautiful theater. Appreciate the thorough and professional security. The architecture is worth exploring, and the building is adored with photography and art depicting the decades of famous acts that have taken the stage here. The design is such that even at the highest seats you still feel quite close to the action, and the circular design makes you feel engaged with the audience around you.

Wowed by this place! Went on a guided tour in a small group whilst we were on a short break in London. Our guide was full of loads of information and interesting details and encouraged us all to ask questions throughout our tour. We weren't rushed and I would thoroughly recommend people to go ahead and book a guided tour as well as visit the Albert hall for a concert as the tickets are surprisingly affordable.

Really great night watching Cirque De Soleil. We had great seats but I suffer from arthritis and because we were against the tier wall they started to hurt as no leg room to stretch. The staff were great. A gentleman sorted me a free mobile chair during the interval that they put on the end of the row so I could be more comfortable. Couldn't have been more helpful. An amazing theatre to watch a show because of the curved design. Great atmosphere. Good range of snacks served. There is a bar as well as hot drinks. There was also a lift I could use instead of using the stairs.

I took my 88 year old mother to see the Tennis at Royal Albert Hall recently as my unusual surprise gift for Christmas and we both had a wonderful time. It's such an iconic building and who would expect Tennis to be played in this venue! The surprise went down really well, we were in a box with a great view and the Tennis was superb. Tim Henman played doubles with a rising young star player, as a British pair, against a Spanish team and won. They then had comedy doubles, which was hilarious, Mansour Bahrami was an absolute hero, so funny and a great player against Mark Philipoussis. The tricks Mansour did were incredible and I would highly recommend going if you ever get the chance. I must also mention how great the staff were in looking after my mother when I went to pick up my car as well, when I returned all 3 of them were laughing and talking about BB King whose picture hangs in the foyer. Thank you for making my surprise gift so special.

One of my favorite place to attend a concert. The acoustic is phenomenal and well the Royal Albert Hall is a place you must visit at least once in your life it's just simply beautiful! If you don't plan on seeing an artist you can do the guided visit which is perfect (I suggest 4pm if you know you will attend a concert the same day, chances are you will hear the soundcheck )

One of the best theatre tours I ve ever been on. Neil our guide was so knowledgeable and showed us some of the amazing behind the scenes rooms. We got to spend a lot of time in the main auditorium space. We even got to see a show setting up for a performance later than night. It s well worth the money. It lasts about 1 hour and you see lots of interesting views and angles of the auditorium and also learn lots of interesting bits of information.
