I really enjoyed my year studying with DSA and highly recommend it. Great staff and students, great use of technology. I found the on-demand nature of the lectures easy to manage with my full time job, there are very few requirements to be logged in at a specific time so for the most part you can view the modules as and when you need them. A much more modern approach to learning and you really feel that the staff in DSA are there to help you succeed.
Currently on Web Innovate course and it's the worst educational experience ever. This course is a scam. Everyone on the course has either dropped out or are so disillusioned with the incompetent people who run the course. The mess everything up and I have learnt so little. Essentially it's set up to siphon money of the government, which the government are fine about because 1) it's not their money and 2) they can pit-pat out stats on how many new IT graduates they have to both the public and potential corporations intending on setting up here. Everyone on the course is just really depressed and disillusioned. No one has anything good to say about it that I've spoken to...and I've spoken to a lot. I could write forever on just how many things they mess up and there's no support or even interest in any problems anyone on the course might be having.
I spoke to two people who did the course last year and they couldn't believe they'd moved it online as they said it was a disaster off line not to mention online. One of them said he feels someone should just blow the whistle on them but just didn't have the time with family and looking for work etc.
Just stay away from DSA. Disaster.
Very well run program. In this course I got to work with like minded people and form long lasting friendships. The modules were all very relevant and taught by some of the industries best! I would highly recommend enrolling as soon as possible!
I loved the course. I found it intense, inspiring and stimulating. All-in-all a great learning experience.
I have had an absolutely harrowing experience dealing with Digital Skills Global over the last two years. I, like many other students, am still waiting for a refund for the cancelled course from Dublin Institute of Technology (now Technological University - Dublin)
It has come to my knowledge that DSG no longer exists as a company, and is bankrupt. Its has refused to pay the pending amount. This is most unfortunate and unethical, especially in such uncertain times. The Digital Skills Global leadership team needs to be held accountable for playing with student's career and money.
Update 15-05-2020: They have now removed the page for Digital Skills Global from LinkedIn. They have started a new company by the name of "Digital Global Education (DGE)" with the same COO and CEO. After duping many students via DSG, they'll probably do the same with DGE. Beware!
