Best experience I've ever had when it comes to pediatricians. We showed up a bit late due to an issue with our newborn but they were more than happy to accomadate us. We saw Dr. Soisson and he was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions. Very satisfied

Mostly have an excellent feel for this organization, but spouse arrived today At 12:45 for her dermatology appointment at 1:00 to be advised they had changed her appointment to 2:00. Not really happy.
If you have health concerns do not bother to go here.
I was looking for a new doctor due to a change in insurance and I decided to give the South Bend Clinic a try. My new doctor there was extremely quick to dismiss my issues as depression and ignore the issues that I am having. I do not feel like i can take any healthcare issues to my doctor here. I tried to see someone else but you cannot change doctors within the South Bend Clinic.
almost everyone i encountered here is very rude. they are very impatient, and act like you're interrupting them if you say anything at all. the doctor i saw said everything my regular doctor was doing was bad. my regular doctor is the reason I'm not on 5 different medications, and have improved with all my progressive issues rather than get worse. they have also just scheduled me for appointments without asking anything. just a call saying, this is your appointment, come here then.
All the doctors that I have dealt with have been friendly and competent. The building is easily accessible with a parking garage for in clement weather.
My wife Lynn saw Michele Ash is a Certified Medical Assistant, who graduated from Michiana College working as a Cosmetic Medical Esthetician. She now has multiple bloody spots on her back and chest where she scraped off seborhic karatosis spots. She is now concerned about possible scaring. Always before they would just freeze the spots and they simply fell off with no blood soaked bandages. Michele was very friendly and nice, but she says she will never go back!!!
My children have gone to doctors here since there ere born, and the first one Katie Elms, was the best in the world.....everyone after that has been hit and miss. But the worst part to the madness is the receptionist, they make it impossible, to ask questions, make appoints , get information, they act like they are to doctors and they they have the knowledge to say if a child should be seen or not. now I know some things like : pink eye" can be handled over the counter. Because at the end of the day no parent want a sick kid.
The past 5 visits to this place and we've sat in the waiting room for 4 hours when they were not even busy. The doctors have been rude, and so has the receptionist. This office is a joke. "Immediate care" my ass
NO STARS...but you need at least one in order to post your review. I was checking in for my appointment Wednesday, 8/31/2016. Innocently enough the receptionist asked me for my email address. I gave it to her while commenting "Good. I prefer emails over phone calls." I finished with my appointment and went home. Then I got two emails later that afternoon telling me how to "join" their portal, whatever that is. This irked me to no end. I was not told that the portal was the reason they wanted my email address. Maybe if they would have told me about this portal and what it was about I probably would have declined and gone about my business. But the So. Bend Clinic, LLC chose to be dishonest, deceptive, misleading, double-dealing and underhanded about everything. This, in my opinion, put them in the same category as Comcast. I am not going to blame my doctor just the management SOBs. I don't know what their portal is all about but I'll be go to hell if I'll join it or anything else from So. Bend Clinic,, LLC.
Immediate care was great. Fast, friendly, and efficient. In and out in no time at all and extremely satisfied. Pharmacy was unexpectedly inexpensive . Again, in and out in no time. Not only do I recommend but I will be a returning patient. Thanks
I love it here. I wasn't able to see my daughters doctor or his practitioner so they set me up with another doctor. He's an older doctor so he kind of makes everything a big deal, he's nice though, just a bit impatient it seems at times. He also criticized me for giving my daughter a breathing treatment, only cause she is a baby, but I think it is just cause he is old fashioned. But besides that. I like how the pharmacy is right there in the building along with a miniture cafe.
STAY AWAY - Had a visit over a year ago, just now received the bill. They forgot to bill my insurance company and now I AM responsible to pay because it's too late to submit to insurance now. Talked to two different people in their billing department and they both acted like I did something wrong and were pointing the finger at me. I have been a patient of theirs for over 20 years, but not after this. I have always timely paid and this is how I am treated? Obviously if I was treated like this by two different employees, this type of treatment is standard with their practice. I WILL NOT support a company like this.
Absolutely horrible experience! The website says they treat cuts. I had a small cut and needed stitches. I waited 2.5 hours to be seen. While I was waiting, at least three other patients left with no care saying they didn't have time to wait that long. When I was finally seen, they said they couldn't help me. The website didn't say they could only treat certain cuts - maybe paper cuts? Unless you have an affinity for waiting rooms and the Hallmark channel, don't bother going there. The only bright spot is they helped me find a place that could treat me.
Very outdated systems to get medical information/records. Patient portal is super labor intensive to get set up. They don't seem to keep up with the IT trends for requesting and accessing information.
I'm very hesitate to leave 1 star reviews but SBC deserves it. I scheduled an appt one day came in and they said "you are 7 days late" they kept saying that I need to get my days straight. I said it was impossible because I scheduled the appt 2 days ago. They then proceeded to CHARGE ME for an appointment that THEY SOMEHOW SCHEDULED IN THE PAST! How does that work? Their system shouldn't allow that. The supervisor was even puzzled and I eventually got my money back but it took awhile.
They will also just brush you aside to see another department. I have a good family doctor and I like him but I have had bad experiences with nearly everyone else. Sorry.
OK, it's hard to say I loved having a colonoscopy, but I did feel very comfortable with Dr Nidea. Since I had concerns I was invited in for a consult and was treated very nicely. He answered all my questions and I never felt rushed. He accommodated me during the procedure, answering my questions. I felt he was very professional and would have no trouble recommending him to others.
I have been fortunate to have good experiences with doctors in several different fields. I love that everything is in one building. My only complaints are regarding lack of parking and the horrible phone service. Seriously the wait time on the phone is inexcusable. To the person who said you can't change doctors that is untrue. I had a doctor for well over 10 years and didn't feel comfortable with that Dr. anymore and switched to another Dr. in the same department.
They do not work on billing with you. They literally refused my payment of $20, saying it HAD to be at least $50. So if they weren't going to take my payment I stopped paying then for maybe 4 months. I was just starting to get caught back up on everything and had made a $20 payment online until the following month when I could return to my $100 a month payments. Two weeks later they sent my bill to collections and terminated me from thier practice. Good riddance. I don't like companies who do not understand hardships. You guys should feel ashamed of yourselves. I thought you became dr.'s to help people.
I wish there was a way to leave "NO" stars. I have been on the phone waiting to talk to anyone, now 35 minutes....and going....and going....GO ANY WHERE BUT South Bend Clinic. Never anything good to say about the staff....
The billing department doesn t work with your financial needs it s their way and won t work with what you can pay, they send you collections after you have been making monthly payments and you won t be able to go there again after they send you to collections, so your left with looking for new doctors.
They do not work with you on billing! My wellness exam should have been paid for in full by my insurance! They have diagnosed me 2 years in a row with high cholesterol to scam my insurance out of more money! Please check into another doctor outside of South Bend clinic! I will die before I go back there!
Have been seeing physicians at this facility for over 20 years. I have seen cardiac, gastroenterology and internal medicine physicians. In all that time, I have never been treated with anything but respect and extreme care. I've never been rushed or treated rudely. This goes for Immediate Care also. Sorry to read others have had problems. I appreciate that everything is located in one facility as I have to travel over 35 miles when I could, in fact, go to doctors that are closer to me.
A representative in billing office was very rude on answering my billing question and finally, she has no patient for explanation and keeps saying the same sentence, finally she ends up with transferring my call but actually hanging up my call. I forgot her name, but it happened on 7/26/2019.
Worse experience ever in their Dermatology Department when seeing Nurse Practitioner Slavinskas. The medical assistants who assisted the nurse practitioner were incompetent. The MA's laptop battery died so she scribbled notes on the back of a paper and frequently had to ask how to spell words. I asked that care instructions be written down so I wouldn't forget, but I didn't receive any. Both MA's kept telling me that the doctor could not write a script for the over the counter medications that I was supposed to take, but in reality doctors can and frequently do write scripts for OTC medications. I even had a copy of my insurance formulary, but staff would not look at it to select covered items. I had to repeat myself many times. When they finally thought a script could be written they kept wanting me to go to their pharmacy instead of the CVS I use. It seemed like we were speaking different languages. They also forgot to do blood work that the NP requested so they called me back to days later wanting me to tho back (an 80 mile roundtrip)! I was in tears in the hall trying to find the exit when a nice pediatrics nurse stopped and helped me I wanted to lodge a complaint so this wouldn't happen to others, but there was no manager and staff did not know the location or the clinic operations manager. A very stressful situation, which aggravated my health condition.
This rating is respective of the office admin correspondence, not the doctor's therein. The Saturday before my rescheduled appointment (Monday) I received another change notice (2nd) with no new date or time provided and no enclosure. Near the bottom in the notice a hand written message indicated that they did not have a working number on file. So I waited till the office was open Monday morning, to call to check if everything is in order. After a brief discussion I waited for a call back. I did get called back that day and I was able to reschedule my appointment.
The inappropriate correspondence resulted in: -My employer scheduled a business trip for which I was supposed to participate. Learning in advance that the trip conflicted with my revised appointment date, and with my priorities aligned I opted out of the trip. Now I missed the trip and my appointment was rescheduled again.
What you should be ware of: -The clinic did not call to notify me of my original schedule change, had they, the clinic would have noticed the issue with the phone number on file earlier. -The second correspondence was frustrating. No explanation or enclosure. It left me confused and context was missing, it was certainly an inappropriate way of informing a patient. -Timeliness. They are only open M-F during regular business hours. Most of us work during those hours so holding an appointment means working out your schedule with your employer. -Record keeping. Check to see if they put in your number correctly.
Yet another terrible pain management I've been to. Don't understand why you would take me off medicines that are helping me and put me on something that could affect my mind.
I love this place my daughter and I have recently became new patients and everyone's so nice and there's so many offices from pediatrics to dieticians they even have a chocolate cafe to grab a quick bite. I love our doctor she's so nice and she'll tell you as it is and kicks it in the bud. You can't go wrong here.
I was there for a radiology appointment. I waited for an hour or more (I stopped counting the minutes) and watched people who checked in after me check in, be served, and leave. I was absolutely livid as I came in for an urgent scan, and the excuse I received was that there were a lot of patients. While I understand this, I am still angry that I was there for over an hour waiting to be served after I watched people who had arrived AFTER me be served BEFORE me.
DO NOT GO!!!!! The doctors are very quick with you. The billing office does not work with you and your insurance. I have had an awful experience with two doctors and will not be returning.
