I took my 88 year old mother to see the Tennis at Royal Albert Hall recently as my unusual surprise gift for Christmas and we both had a wonderful time. It's such an iconic building and who would expect Tennis to be played in this venue! The surprise went down really well, we were in a box with a great view and the Tennis was superb. Tim Henman played doubles with a rising young star player, as a British pair, against a Spanish team and won. They then had comedy doubles, which was hilarious, Mansour Bahrami was an absolute hero, so funny and a great player against Mark Philipoussis. The tricks Mansour did were incredible and I would highly recommend going if you ever get the chance. I must also mention how great the staff were in looking after my mother when I went to pick up my car as well, when I returned all 3 of them were laughing and talking about BB King whose picture hangs in the foyer. Thank you for making my surprise gift so special.
