This is a grand large red interior theatre. We were in the balcony seating(18),Grand Tier. Seat 9 and 10.
We watched Cirque du Soleil, Luzia.
I lost my Ralph Lauren Scarf. It was Black and Grey, with fringe. I lost it possibly in ladies bathroom or in the Stella Artois Bar, same floor level of where we were seated. Or it could be somewhere we were seated. It was dark, lighting is poor.
It was sooo warm in this theatre..that is why I took off my coat and scarf.. Before the show started.
I reported it to the lost and found located on the main floor in room 11.
In case anyone needs to know.
It is a very nice scarf and I am pretty sure someone found it and kept it.
Your welcome!!
I purchased it in Canada, when I was travelling back and forth to be with my father due to him being extremely ill. My father did pass away within 2 months.. Thinking of my father and missing him greatly.. The reason I purchased the scarf because Canada has very cold weather, much colder than here in the U.K...the irony is that there is a city in Canada called London, in the province of Ontario. The store, where I purchased it from is located in that city of London, ON, Canada
Anyways...just in case the person who finds my scarf and possibly reads this long review, hopefully your feeling some remorse for keeping my scarf and you can still return it to the Royal Albert Hall..
The show was good, thou I have seen Cirque du Soleil, Mystere in Las Vegas. That one tops this one.
However, you cannot go wrong with any Cirque du Soleil.
Getting to the end of the show..I was cooking....most likely due to the theatre being full of people and/or the heat cranked all the way up??
Upset and sad I lost my scarf..which has taken away my enjoyment of the night.

This is a tour you cannot miss if you're a fan of either music or architecture. The hall, with its design echoing that of ancient Rome, really is a wonder, and the sheer breadth of musical (and other) performances that have occurred there is astounding.

Our tour guide, Andy, had a solid knowledge of both the Hall's history and its performers and kept the tour light and fun, despite the behaviour of some of the other guests.

Marvellous Magnificent Majestic this iconic building dosen't need it's name outside i think most people recognize the Royal Albert Hall from the outside and the inside is just as beautiful if you don't see a show at least take the tour reasonably priced. Afternoon tea was served in the Verdi Restaurant very ornate with friendly staff.

Does some great cocktails! Expect to be surrounded by people who do not know how to queue or, if you re a person of colour, people who will offer micro aggressions and micro invalidations effortlessly. This is an extremely white space, but you re not made to feel unwelcome once you get past the professionally suspicious security. It s great to see that the venue is diversifying it s shows, there may be nights when you feel less isolated by the majority. I didn t go on such a night.

What a wonderful venue the Royal Albert Hall is. From the moment the building comes in to view you know you are in for a treat. Once inside it does not matter where you sit, you will still feel part of the show due to circular design and not being too big. There are plenty of quaint boxes available also for a more intimate experience. It is also not too loud. Bar prices are high as you would expect, but they still need to address the nasty plastic somehow. Overall an excellent visit and we will return later in the year because it is fab.

The venue is beautiful. I was sitting on the top at the back. I felt quite intimidated by the hight at which the seats are overlooking the stage. Once the show started then I forgot about it. Quite impressive to be there.

Amazing. It is very fun to be there. The sound is really good. The lighting and effects are astounding and it just the best concert venue for anything, especially the Proms. One word of advice would be to arrive early so that you can go to a nearby restaurant. There are plenty. Try to book early to as there will be more seats available. One more thing: you can go on a tour before the concert. You may find this useful.

Amazing place. You can feel the history here. Seating well set out great view even though there was a handrail we barely noticed it.
Find it annoying though that beverages including, annoyingly - POPCORN are allowed inside. Surely people can wait until the interval for a snack or drink.

The hall is an iconic unmissable part of London with shows running throughout the year. You can also have food at its restaurant as well as go on a tour inside it to explore this magnificent building behind the scenes.

The Royal Albert Hall is such an incredibly stunning and iconic building. We visited for the Cirque du Soleil Luzia show which was just amazing!!

I recommend the little Cafe Bar for drink and a lovely slice of cake before the show (head to Door 12).

Also, if visiting on a Sunday, parking is free all day on many nearby streets - just make sure you check the signs.

This is awesome place to visit. Always have feeling that doing something Royal. Performance is always great. Love the classical music. The artists give their best all the time. Like the audience who support and cheer them.
The infrastructure of the building is superb. The staff is supportive. Location is connected with bus and tube very well.

There's really not a bad seat in the house. Small and intimate, your views of the entertainment are totally unobstructed. It's alao such a beautiful building and suported by excellent stewards who have you swiftly at your seat without a struggle. These London theatre venues, though, do need to be cognizant that today we've out grown the seating space. Most are significantly taller than the people who lived when these were built. Anyone of 6ft / 1.83m, or above, now struggles to be comfortable in any of these historic theatres. At the prices these seats / shows now command its time the venues did better

For years I have wanted to go here. Today I fulfilled that want. It was brilliant. We had a guided tour from a lovely, enthusiastic guide. We then saw a Christmas Concert by The Salvation army. One hour 45 mins flew by. The singing, band and lighting was brilliant. It's a good sound, the seats are quite comfy and you have decent leg room to enable you to really enjoy the performance! Definitely recommend!

First time we attended a concert at The Royal Albert Hall in London, was back in Apr-1993 when we went to see Barry Manilow in his pomp. Having seen many concert/show events from the venue on TV over the years, it was a great thrill to actually be there in the flesh.

We had great seats near the stage and the hall and it s many facilities did not disappoint . . . nor did Barry. If you like that sort of thing, Barry was on top form and his audience was with him all the way. Great entertainment in a regal setting.

Had a great evening watching Blade Runner on the big screen with live music being played in conjunction with the picture. Great experience I would recommend anybody that likes movie music to give it a go, I know upcoming movies are Titanic and ET to name a few.

Two stars off for ghastly scaffolding everywhere and not enough toilets. Staff were very nice as they pointed to the massive toilet queue I had to wait in. They let my 90 year old mother use the disabled loo which I object to as I was definitely the more incapacitated person due to excessive libations. I may report her to the appropriate authority.

Very high level professionals from attendants to actual performers. Put up graciously with people applauding between movements. Substitute contralto was actually one of the best things in it. Faultless and seemless performance from choir. Deserve a medal (and have probably got a few).

Visited for Christmas carol singalong, had a great time and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Staff are very welcoming and the building is fantastic. Only 15 minutes walk to two different tube stations so easy to get to and plenty of restaurants nearby if you want to dine either before or after a performance/show.

Historic building with great architecture that is really easy to get to via public transport and great wheelchair facilities.
It has really good acoustics but the seating arrangement is not that great if you get balcony seats and you are not in a group. The view of the stage is really restrictive anywhere behind the first two rows of the balcony seating, and the seats (aka stools) are not comfortable. The best seats are in the main circle if you can afford them.

I really enjoyed this place when I visited the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the fact that I had my tweet read out not once but twice over two consecutive years was really cool. You don t just have to be into classical music because all sorts of genres are performed here.

I booked a tour to visit the Royal Albert Hall and was amazed by the grandeur of this edifice. The guide was nice and professional: he let us estimate the size of the concert hall by visiting the boxes on different levels, the room where the Queen reposes. We were lucky to assist at the rehearsal on Sunday morning which was great!

Great concert! Settling the Score was quite a treat! Seats in the East Choir were pretty good, but not a lot of legroom and had to lean forward to get the best view. But great at the price! Beautiful hall, would love to come back for more concerts.

Wow! What a venue. Huge, grand, royal, all of the above. Tonnes of bars, amazing artists and shows, steeped in culture. Paintings, posters and prints all around the walls was incredible to see who had performed there before.
Great atmosphere, everyone excited to be in one of the most beautiful venues in London.
Huge stage, great sound even from the above tiers. Went to see Marina on the Love + Fear tour and it was incredible!
