The worst experience we have ever had!!! We brought home a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee 2015 from this place, we sat there all day the stupid process that took forever and finally Gabrial the salesperson who was taking care have the keys for our new car at 10pm seriously, we even told him that we would like to take the car in the morning so that we could check before heading out! He refused and assured he will take care and it is his responsibility. The day after we checked the car and only found to our bad luck that the car had a lot of small dents in the exterior and stains and deep cuts on the interiors, we called him up immediately and he said its a busy week for them they can attend to is only after 3 days. We drove down 100 miles to show this s*** to them and they say "it's too many days you have taken the car we can't do anything much for the exterior dents" they said they will replace the steering wheel since they had cuts and it happened only after 2 months!!!! Finally after we followed up with them for more than 20-30 times they said we can drive down today and it would just take 1.30 to 2 hours. Today we sit here in their showroom waiting for my car to be done they say it will take 5-6 hours!!!!! Insane!!! Seriously I regret every transaction I have had with these guys here!!!! Can anyone let me know if there is anything else that we can do to get justice to $42000!!!!!!!

Only go to this dealership out of desperation because they will disappoint. The service department is just about getting you in and out with no real work putting into diagnosing a problem. I went in with transmission issues and they came back a day and a half later saying they couldn't find anything wrong but suggested I get the fluid replaced for over $400. After getting the car back nothing was better. I went to a local shop and the guy actually correctly diagnosed my issue over the phone and then confirmed with a short test drive. Don't bother with this place.

Just wanted to say 1 of the most best experience I have ever had a Dealer ship buying a new vehicle. The staff was very helpful and my sales man Luis Florencio was awesome.
He went above and beyond to get me the vehicle that I want and deal. Highly recommend this place to get a vehicle from.

I previously posted a story about my chrysler srt8 having a gas leak due to them damaging the fuel line 8 months ago installing a new gas tank and i talked about speaking to the service manager don who said to bring the car in and theyll take care of it and when i brought it they said well look at it and call u and 3 days went by and i get a call at 4-5pm sayin to pick up the car and its ready so i was confused cause it was a message and it didnt say they fixed it and i thought they would have to call me ahead of time to tell me if they were gonna fix it or not and i get there and they actually fixed it for free so i gotta say atleast they were honest.. they must have took the car right away cause its not a easy job to do and i gotta say it worked out great with them they took responsibility for what happend and and did the right thing ...thanks to everyone at the service department here especially Don the service manager for taking the time to make my problem first priority and the mechanics that fixed it in the time that they did

Sales manager Bill was also very helpful and honest . Overall very professional. I am absolutely ecstatic with my new Jeep! You guys are awesome!

I should have known when thieir add said the truck was an SLT.... with a BIG HORN badge on the back of it???
NOT TO WASTE MY TIME. Fortunately we do our homework on rates and payment and what we owe and what to expect when we do this. We walked in and asked for the salesman we were talking to and they asked us for our email and phone number prior to getting him. The Truck had been on their lot for about a month and a half. They opened the door to show us the truck and it smelled like damp cigarettes. Not even cleaned or detailed. So after the "paperwork" phase and some haggling all of a sudden they gave us more for our truck.....wiped out taxes and fees and their "2000 dollar upgrade" for a certification with a monthly payment higher than our first price. Like 100 bucks higher. We asked what the interest rate was and they said rates have gone up over the last 6 month's. They would not tell us what the interest rate was. We walked out. Prior to us walking out they said " we are the number one Dodge dealer in New Jersey and we never get walked out on" ..... We must have been the first ones to walk out on them..... Highly unlikely. Turns out the interest rate was 15 percent. Our credit is also about 750 and we are in our 40s. It was a nice 3 hour ride to get there though. And I fully expect to see a respose under here that says I am sos and so from Route 46 dodge......please call blah blah blah......like I want ANYTHING to do with this dealership after that experience.....

Had a pretty great experience with Felicia here when I was looking to buy a car. She listened to what I wanted, and what I thought was fair, and would work with me to try and get me a great deal. She wasn't pushy like the other salespeople I've dealt with, and she let me go about making the purchase the way I wanted, rather than the way SHE (or other salespeople) wanted. This is definitely a solid choice to make a purchase from. Protip: Rt 46 Nissan, Rt 46 Mitsubishi, and Rt 46 Chrystler/Dodge/Jeep are all the same company. If another lot has one car, you can come here and get a better deal and a better shopping experience. Ask for Felicia!

Stay Away from this dealer, the way they operate t...

Stay Away from this dealer, the way they operate their financing is a fraud. These people sold me GAP insurance and never processed it with the GAP company, even though my vehicle has been purchased well over a month ago.

In addition when I call them nobody returns your phone calls at all. Better off buying your vehicle at another place. My sales guy Mike Solomon was great at the purchase but the person in finance and the manager Cauly Chak have been unresponsive to my calls.

Went in there last weekend and was not happy with the salesperson. He was not overly friendly and gave me the most outrageous price for a down payment any of the jeep dealerships gave me. Then I went on TrueCar and when speaking to them about the much lower TrueCar price they were not willing to help me out. They then emailed me about an even lower TrueCar price..they said they would call me back with a new offer..then a day later they emailed me back saying they couldn't help me. By this time I had already purchased the Jeep I wanted at the original TrueCar price that they refused to honor. I heard good things about this place and was hoping to give them my business since I live so close but in the end all I got was the run around, mediocre service, and time wasted.

Although he was only there about a month ( which he had disclosed to me) he was very knowledgable with the ENTIRE process. He was not pushy at all and helped me to close the deal on my NEW car. This is my first time ever leaving a review and the only reason im going this far is because i literally just called to find out some information and clarify something in my paperwork while calmly and respectfully explaining what my issue was i was being cut off several times by the person on the other end he even started to yell at me, i was completely shocked that an adult in the line of business that he was in would conduct himself in that manner. i recorded the conversation on my laptop as soon as he began raising his voice at me and plan on playing it to his manager when i come in for a face to face conversation.

I was in a mission to find exactly what I had envisioned and left the dealer with the one and only car I wanted which was a 2016 Dodge Charger. Being a first time buyer my sales person Edgar A, made sure I was completely happy. He made this experience a great one and I couldn't of been any happier. Edgar made sure I was comfortable and happy with what I was looking for and the prices were great.My finance person who was Victor also made the financing situation a smooth ride. I recently had an unfortunate series of events where I needed to buy a new caw unexpectedly. If the need for a car wasn't stressful enough, having to deal with having to go through the process of buying a car certainly was enough to put me on edge upon my arrival. The amount of stars I have decided to rate the overall experience is largely due to Charles Calabro. He alone saved the experience for me. I don't want to put anyone down, but Charles really stood out and was on top of his game. He made the experience painless and quick. It was evident that he did everything in his power to get me the car I wanted. And I greatly appreciate that. In an industry where there is a certain stigma associated with car salesmen, Charles truly changes that perspective.

Ed leased me my Jeep and he was great, however I hate my Jeep 4 months later.

I leased a 2014 limited cherokee in February 2014. Mostly because I have many friends with jeeps who are very happy with the different models they own. A few weeks after driving it I noticed it was idling high, bucking while i was braking, and also making a very loud sound while in park. The service dept told me nothing was wrong with it but they did have to reset a CO sensor. I am not mechanically inclined, but I have been driving for some time now and there this car seems to be driving progressively worse. I chose to look past the ugly exterior of this this vehicle because i liked the combination of sport and luxury but now I feel UNSAFE and i am beyond DISAPPOINTED in my jeep. I am not one to complain and Ive NEVER written an online review before but I felt it was my duty to WARN any potential leasers/buyers. These other reviews sound very similar to the problems Im experiencing so it is clear there is a DISGN FLAW.

DO NOT TRUST THE ONLINE SALES TEAM!!!

Below is my customer experience with Route 46 Dodge:

1) 8/27: I find the car I want available in inventory at Route 46 and request a quote online. I immediately receive an email from the Internet Sales Associate (Mike, the Inter)net Sale Manager (Jamie), and a sales associate (John). I respond to Mike with my contact info
2) 8/28, 12:00 pm: After not hearing from Mike I attempt to call the dealership to reach him. I am disconnected by the operator/receptionist twice and have to call back. I finally leave a message with Mike
3) 8/28, 1:22 pm: I call and ask for a sales associate. I speak with a man and give him all my information. He tells me he will call me back in 15 minutes with a quote. I never hear back.
4) 8/28 8:00 pm: I email Mike, Jamie and John stating that I have not heard back and would like a quote ASAP as I need to make a decision shortly
5) 8/28 8:30 pm: I finally get an email and voicemail from Mike with a quote and a claim that he called me earlier in the day (despite no missed calls, voice mails, or emails). I respond to Mike s email with some additional questions and a request for an adjusted quote with Employee Pricing since my father is retired UAW.
6) 8/29, 12:00 pm: Mike calls me back and tells me that he cannot give me employee pricing over the phone and I need to come in. I know for a fact he is mistaken but oblige and tell him I will drive from Madison with my 2-year old around 3:00 to get my trade in appraised and see the vehicle. (Note: my wife gave birth to our second 8 days ago and we decided this was worthwhile since we need a new car urgently). Mike says he is available at that time and it will work.
7) 8/29, 3:00 pm: I drive 40 minutes from Madison to Little Falls through traffic with my 2-year old. I ask for Mike at the front desk and am directed told he does not meet with customers and I am redirected to a general sales associate (Ed). Ed tells me that the car I inquired about has been sold and there are no similar models. I leave with my 2-year old infuriated
8) 8/29, 4:00 pm: On the way home I try to call the Internet Sales Manager (Jamie) to voice my concerns on my customer experience. I am redirected by the receptionist to a general voice prompt for Nissan/Mitsubishi without any guidance for how to reach Jamie. After a frustrating conversation she finally explains that Jamie works for the Nissan department within Route 46 Auto Mall and I need to hit 1 and then request her name. I leave voice mails with Jamie and Mike voicing my displeasure.
You have permanently lost my business. I had a very simple customer request and was thoroughly disappointed.

UPDATE: Officially the most unethical business ope...

UPDATE: Officially the most unethical business operation I have dealt with.... After having our vehicle in for service for weeks, we got it back with damage. We didn't get a copy of the inspection report when we had taken the vehicle in so I requested it upon discovering the damage. It was provided and had clearly been tampered with. I brought this to our service tech's attention and my claim was denied. I was eventually passed on to Phil Mastellone, who not only denied this but responded in such an unprofessional manner that I was taken aback. He accused me of threatening him shortly before he told me he was going to send all of our correspondence to my manager (it is a business vehicle). When I asked for his direct line, he told me that he wouldn't be speaking with me, but when pressed supplied only the main number.

For the record - the response from the dealer to my review yielded absolutely nothing.

I have an issue with a repair this dealer did. I didn't want to post a review until it was worked through but I can't get a response from the dealer any other way. Phone calls and emails have yielded nothing. I will update when/if I hear from them.

We were looking for a very specific car at a price we could afford and Mike Mangano made this happen for us! After visiting 3 other dealerships on the same day we were treated more fairly and with more respect by Mike and the staff at Rt. 46 Jeep than at any other dealership. We will be going back for our next car.

Gabriel Dominguez was my dealer and he was great. It was my first time buying a car and the experience we had was phenomenal. Gabe knows a lot about his inventory and gives great advice. He is not trying to scam the customers and thinks long term. Thank you for your help Gabe, I love my new car!!!

Sean.M was our sales consultant tonight and I have to say, my fiancee and i couldn't be happier with the service and attention we received. Every other dealership we've been to has given us the runaround, promising one price and then offering another and trying to steer us away from the Jeep Wrangler we were looking for and into a more expensive Jeep . Sean is the first salesman we got an honest deal from, getting us the car we wanted for a lease payment in our budget. It's a refreshing experience working with someone who actually listens to his customers' criteria and works with you instead of playing games, and who also got us into our new Wrangler without wasting hours on back and forth nonsense. I believe in giving an honest appraisal - when we got done dirty by another Jeep dealership - so I'm more than happy to write this review to let everyone know how pleased we are with Rt 46 Jeep in general and Sean Musalaev in particular. I'd recommend coming here and asking for Sean to anybody looking for a great and painless experience.

I am extremely happy and amazed with my experience. My sales guy was RJ Salas and he was just amazing. Honest, Welcoming, and a very happy guy. He helped me purchase my first car a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee; a car i had dreamed about my whole life. He was able to answer all my questions and i sure did have many. Not at all did he seemed bothered. He gave me options of other cars as well until we found the perfect match. I would definitely recommend this dealership with my friends and family but especially to RJ Salas for making this the best experience on my first car.

My experience with Route 46 Chrysler Jeep Dodge Dealership was awful. My lease is up today May 16 2018, and they have called me over 30 times in the last month as a reminder to tell me that my lease is up and to go over my options. I have told several different Representatives that my plan is to return the car once my lease is up and that I'm not looking to purchase another vehicle at this time. Each time I told a representative this their tone changed and they were rushing me off the phone. They all informed me I didn't need to make and appointment unless I'm looking to buy another vehicle. So when I called up there today to return my vehicle I was asked, "was I interested in purchasing a new vehicle today". Once I replied No, I was told that their is only one person named RJ that deals with Lease Returns. I then asked if I can return the vehicle today and come back tomorrow to fill out what ever paper work needed to done. I was told no without and explanation. I then asked to speak to the Manager. I was then told the Manager was off today as well. I then ask if I can speak with the general manager and was told NO. I then asked can I speak to someone else in regards to this matter. I was instructed by a gentlemen that I can call another Chrysler dealership and return it there. I asked him for the number to the Verona location and was told that I would have to Google it in a very unprofessional matter. I called the Verona location and was told that they would only take my vehicle if I purchase a car from them. This dealership only gives you good customer service if you are purchasing a car. If your not making a purchase that treat you like your bothering them. I will never make another purchase from this dealership or any Chrysler Dealership again in My Life.

I was in to look for a 2014 ram 1500 as a lease. I sat down with Ed Harney first thing in the morning. We went over a few things such as basic info, credit trade appraisal. Afterwards they showed me a demo but I wasnt too interested since its wasn't well equipped. Then I wrote down the two must want colors, fully equipped from leather to navi to 4 door to the trim...Sport. I was told they had none in stock but would call me tomorrow. Total time at dealer= 2 hours. The following day I received a call about midday that they found my car at another dealer and it was on its way for detailing. I came in around 5:30pm and went to leasing manager, picked up the keys and sailed out by 7:30pm. Total time this day 2 hours. It was quick and neat experience with Ed Harney.

Was there to buy a Jeep Wrangler, end getting Jeep compas, and it s amazing, they have a huge selection to choose from, the salesman SEAN by far is the BEST I ve ever dealt with, so patient, most courteous and absolutely most professional, he does not push u on anything, two days after I bought the car SEAN called my wife and I to check if everything was ok and to answer any more questions we have about the car.
We gave 5 stars mainly because of SEAN, believe me if u go there ask for him and u will not b disappointed, I absolutely recommend RT. 46 Jeep, and they will see me again for another car.

Great Buying Experience
David O'neil and Tom McHugh great to work with. They were not pushy salesman asked what they could do for us and did exactly that. The only thing was they could not find the second key but they immediately solved the problem without us having to call them. They called us and told us when to come in and pick up the key. We left that night feeling great about the purchase and it was a very positve buying experience.

He was not pushy at all! He was willing to really spend time trying to find a great car that fit all my needs. He made the experience a pleasure and I did not feel obligated to make any irrational decisions at all.
