Called to get a quote on just installation of a new stereo and satellite radio. A sales rep by the name of "Richard" tells me he's been there just a couple of weeks and it'll be a minute before he can pull up the information, starts trying to sell me on their equipment, which I fully expected. Gave him the specs i need and he asked for my contact information including email address to contact me when he finds what i'm looking for and can give me his best price. A few mins later he texts my cell phone and asks the year of my car.. then asks my age.. then tells me i look "familiar", my response ..? "Uhm... how do you know what i look like?", "facebook tells everything. lol"

I ignored subsequent texts and called to speak with a mgr, "Mike", Mike was apparently out of the office, so I was asked to leave my name and number and declined to say it was in reference to. needless to say i didn't get a call back, and am not surprised. complained to the Better Business Bureau who have them as 'F' rated. Apparently Rogers Stereo just don't care.

A busy place because they do good work at competitive prices. If you are able to get the attention of one of the sales people they can help you find a solution for your situation. They don't have a large variety of brands but can find something that will work well.

Had windows tinted here. Got home to find bubbles and drag/cut marks in the tint. Called back and was told to bring my vehicle back. Once I got back there which is a 45 min ride I was told those would "cure" out in 7 days and they couldnt get to me that day. Well 14 days later these defects didnt "cure" out. Made another appointment and brought the vehicle back. After being there 10 mins guy comes and gets me and says they were "touched" up and I was good to go. After going out to my vehicle the places were still there. I left. Writing this review and will be calling the Better Business Bureau first thing on Monday morning. Will never do business will them ever again and I recommend whoever is reading this that you don't take your business there, either. VERY dissatisfied.

I love the new speakers I replaced in the front two door panels of my car, however immediately after driving off the lot I heard a rattling noise in the passenger side front door. I got a secondary opinion at another shop, had them take off the door frame and came to see that they only put in two of the four screws for the speaker, and the door panel was not properly placed back on the door frame. Loose craftsmanship, however they had excellent customer service which was great

Great people and service. I bought a Bluetooth radio for my sons car and it stopped working several months after Rogers installed it. They replaced the system without hesitation. Nice group of professional to do business with - highly recommend!

Accurately diagnosed my problem and saw to me quickly even when I called and said I was going to be late for my appointment. Salesman suggested a great radio unit, and didn't try to heckle me on options. Couldn't be happier.

Rogers Stereo has totally screwed up the installation with my stereo and cut the backup wire to jury rig a connection because they didn't have the right parts. Horrible company and totally unethical.

AVOID this terrible company!

Problems with Kenwood DNX 890HD stereo Rogers Stereo installed.
Left front channel is dead
GPS locks up, will not connect to gps antenna. Must pull over, stop, shut the truck off and open a door so it ll reboot.
Steering wheel controls sometimes switch stations, sometimes fast forward and reverse, a mystery as to which will happen when the buttons are pushed.
Bad connection to the backup camera due to rogers stereo s installer cutting and splicing the wire when he installed it. I believe he did this because he did not have the proper adaptor.
With the Samsung Galaxy S5 the kenwood connection to the stereo via Bluetooth is sketchy at best.
When it does connect it has these problems
The left front channel is dead as well as the rear channels and sub. So when on Bluetooth media or Pandora only the right front speaker works.
Handsfree Phone bluetooth does not work with sync and the sync mic so Rogers Stereo installer mounted an additional mic at the windshield, now all anyone hears is wind noise. Handsfree is useless.
Iheart radio does not work
Aha radio does not work
Ipod will not connect, usb connection shows it s connecting, but it will not play.
Iphone 3GS will not connect phone or media. Shows it s connected, but will not play.
Dimmer does not work with the truck. Must manually change the brightness. Worse yet there s no way to darken the screen so you have to drive with a t-shirt draped over the dash at night.
Sirrus sometimes stops working. It s tuned to a station, all indications are that it s working, but no music comes out, must change the station and change it back to get it working.

Basically, only thing that works is SirrusXM and that only works on 3 speakers and for some strange reason, you aren t allowed to get howard stern on this model of receiver.

David was awesome! Helped me figure out what was going wrong with my radio. While I was there waiting they showed great appreciation for their customers. Definitely felt like they were more interested in helping clients than just taking their money unlike masters stereo. I will always recommend and bring my business here.

Solid service, Shane got me out before the promised time at a good price. Speakers sound great and were a little more than I felt comfortable tackling myself in terms of installation which is exactly why these guys are here. Overall good experience, would recommend to anyone.

Had pretty good equipment, but the staff is for the rating. No one came and tried to help me until I walked to the counter and asked for help. Then the prices were pretty expensive. I ended up going to masters car stereo they were a little cheaper and staff came right up to me to help

First experience with them. Due to a misunderstanding about my appointment my tinting was almost compromised ,however, Brad and Russel have tried to squeeze me in and as a result the job has been done roughly in the same allocated time slot .I totally appreciated the respect shown for my time and Rudy has executed a wonderful job with my windows. Great customer service and operational commitment are my reasons for recommending this shop anytime.

Paid 230 to have subs installed they waited until they hooked everything up before they told me my amp was no good.the amp worked perfect 2 months ago... I basically spent 200 bucks for literly nothing next time I'm doing it myself .

This was one of the WORST shopping experiences ever. Over priced, pressure sales, and not a person I felt I could trust to not rip me off. Just do yourself a favor and call crutchfield, free call and their sales rep will help you, then you can decide where to buy you stuff. AVOID this rip off joint.

Took my RV in for a new radio. We knew ahead of time which model we wanted. Asked the salesman some things about it, and he was able to show us how to turn it on. That was it. He also told us that Apple CarPlay would work with any app on our phone. He was completely wrong about that. We gave specific instructions to salesman about replacing the backup camera monitor, that if it had to be rewired, not to do it, to just put the radio where the current unit was installed. He called me that afternoon and said they were able to rewire everything and get it to work. So I asked why they had rewired it after we specifically said not to, and he said he thought we would be excited they were able to rig it and get it to work. Well it didn't work. The monitor came on sporadically and didn't work most of the time. The monitor, on average, took about 10 minutes most of the time to switch from radio to camera. That's not good when you need to check a tow vehicle immediately. The radio was worthless -- picked up one station while driving through Greensboro, NC. Navigation kept populating with icons no one could explain. Rogers' solution was to put in a new camera, with a power booster, and a new antenna -- after they said none of that would be needed. Finally told them to take it out and put it back like it was. When they did that, they just wired it to whatever they wanted to. Cut into some wires I had installed for power outlets instead of taking the time to do it back the way it was and to do it correctly. And they cut into some other wires too that was overloading circuits. One speaker doesn't work at all now. Made several attempts to contact the manager, but he won't respond. Made five trips to the place to get issues resolved and they never did. I was warned by a couple of people about using them, but I didn't listen. I hope you heed the warning. Two reasons I give them one star rating: They did give me a complete refund and that's the lowest rating I can go.

Customer Services in the store was outstanding. The audio system I had installed works and sounds great. It was installed in less than three hours. However, once I got home I noticed the following:

1. A light cover on the front passenger side door was broken and cannot be placed back on.

2. None of my door handles were reinstalled properly after the install. In fact, the back passenger side handle came all the way off when my son tried to open the door.

3. The air suspension system no longer works properly. The compressor works but must come on again and again to keep the vehicle from sagging in the back and, after a few minutes, the check suspension light comes on. I cannot say for sure if this is as a result of something that happened during the install but, if not, it is a coincidence.

Also, keep in mind, inside the show room there is a sign that states if something is broken during installation, they are not responsible. I saw the sign and was concerned at first but figured if something was broken during installation it would be something minor (such as the light cover). I never imagined the door handles would be reinstalled so carelessly and the suspension system could be damaged during an audio system install.

Happy with everything but the damages incurred during the install.

DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO INSTALL AN INTERIOR. I wish I could say "buyer beware" but in this case I write this review as more of an urgent consumer alert for the Upstate SC area. The Greenville SC location assured me on December 4th 2015 that they would be able to install a brand new Katzkin leather interior into my 2003 Z71 Tahoe. The truck is in great shape and this install was to replace my factory leather which had started to fade over time with UV exposure. Jim Burns is the Sales Manager that I dealt with him directly and he promised my truck out in two days. On Saturday December 5th I called the location and spoke with Jim Burns to get an update. Jim Burns stated that the installer had destroyed the new second row passenger seat upholstery while trying to install it and the rest of the interior is finished. I asked to pick my truck up that afternoon and to leave them the seat to finish because I had a short trip the next day on Sunday.

My truck was in horrible condition when I arrived to pick it up that afternoon. My driver's seat belt was not tightened, loose plastic trim panels, loose arm rests on 3 seats, and a head rest in the second row was jammed on backwards. Jim Burns acted like he had no knowledge and did not inspect my truck before releasing it to me. I spoke with Jim Burns prior to leaving and he assured my interior would be correct when I dropped it off on Monday December 7th. Rogers Stereo had my truck for another two days and did not fix anything. They merely installed the second row seat they had damaged and assured me the truck was complete. My only option was to let Jim Burns keep my deposit of $680 and I had to contact the regional Katzkin Leather executive. I also asked to speak with the owner, Frank Rogers on this day, of which Jim Burns repeatedly verbally side stepped my request. I resorted to having a family member call another Rogers Stereo location to get the contact info for Frank Rogers. I travel with my job and had to leave the area.

Katzkin referred me to another installer in the FL area of where I am working. They inspected my truck and found the following with the install from Rogers Stereo: They did not replace driver's side seat cushion as requested (they charged me for it), leather kit was jammed on both second row seats in reverse (left was on right, right on left) and stapled numerous times, arm rests installed on wrong seats and upside down, loose seat belts, various missing hardware, heated seat elements were cut by a knife and reinstalled, and many damaged plastic panels which took weeks to find through the Chevy dealership system. Upon speaking with Frank Rogers he admitted that his sales staff at the Greenville SC location lied to me and that he knew he did not have any competent Katzkin Leather installers to complete the job while my truck was in his shop. Frank Rogers seemed understanding of my cause and allowed me to contact him with any further issues via his cell phone. The shop in FL had to replace 90% of the first, second, and third row seats with parts of the new Katzkin Leather having to be replaced after the failed install from Rogers Stereo.

Katzkin and Frank Rogers agreed to repair my truck to my satisfaction. In the end it took 60 days to finish the interior on my truck due to shipping time of parts and finding repeat damage from Rogers Stereo. This transaction was finally complete on February 11th, 2016. I called and spoke to Frank Rogers for final payment as agreed.

He passed the phone to Jim Burns who was quick to accept my payment info and immediately got off the phone with me without concern for my truck or apology for his lack of integrity and customer service. Ending total for this "install" was $1,360 minus the cost of a plastic trim panel they damaged and I have yet to locate a replacement. I still keep the photos of my damaged truck as a reminder to thoroughly investigate where I decide to spend my hard earned money. Cannot recommend for service, sales, or installs of any kind.

Got a new headunit and dashcam installed here. Dashcam install was great. But, the new headunit caused some low static. After being told by the technician there was no fix, I researched and found the wiring harness they used could be to blame. They were willing to use the different wiring harness that I suggested which helped reduce the static by around 90%. Overall very happy with the work and customer service. -1 star for implying I had no options and making me figure it out on my own.

With an appointment, had a subwoofer and amp installed on my vehicle. Staff is very nice and I chatted with almost everyone. Waited in waiting area about 2 hours. Not bad at all.

Literally 5 minutes after pulling out of the parking lot, the subwoofer blew. I drove back and not only did they replace the sub immediately with no questions asked, but they upgraded to a better sub for the amp with no extra charge.

Edit: the second subwoofer blew. I won't bother these guys again with another replacement. I'll just assume I have bad luck.

Gotta say, the whole reason I "buy local" and "go to the experts" is to get that superior customer service and attention. However, Rogers proves to be the exception to the rule. While the salesman was good at landing me on a product in a few minutes, he overpromised on delivery, saying it would take about an hour. After 2+ I went to find someone to let me know if my car was getting worked on. I could have installed the stereo myself in an hour...easy and bought it from Crutchfield at half the cost I paid here. It ended up taking 2 hours and 45 minutes. I was told the multicolored morphing stereo would be nicely set to one color that fit with my car's color scheme...that was not done. I was also struck by the fact they couldn't even set the clock. But what was worse was that when I got in the car, the Kenwood receiver I just dropped $400 for sounded horrible...like a muffled mess. I put it down to the settings being all flat. This was not the case. For the next 2 days I did everything I could do to improve the sound, but it was lifeless...sounding more like an old $50 Kraco stereo I bought from K-Mart in 1985 or a boom box. Actually those would sound better. So, I brought it back on Monday and (gulp) noticed the sign that said ALL SALES FINAL. Wow, okay, now I was nervous. However, I brought my laptop, because I knew I'd be stuck there for a long while. JB helped me and although he looked completely overworked (as all their front sales staff look each time I go in) he was very nice and took the time to answer my questions. 2 hours later, my car came back out. I was told it was "fixed." I asked what they did and the salesman who sold it to me orignally couldn't tell me. Hmmmm. So I went out to the car, turned it on and it sounded much better. It still didn't sound as good as the factory stereo, but it was ten times better than it was. I guess I will live with it. I'm not sure how they screwed it up the first time, but I won't be giving them a second chance. The first experience was slipshod at best, I should have read the reviews before going. "fool me once..."

RUN, w/o HESITATION to Roger's Stereo, Greenville,...

RUN, w/o HESITATION to Roger's Stereo, Greenville, SC! I purchased & had installed a Kenwood stereo May 9, 2013. Unfortunately it failed several months later and I had already transferred to another state over 900 miles away. When I called to inquiry about my options, we settled on them replacing it FREE OF CHARGE when I returned for a visit at Thanksgiving. SPEEDY & SUPERIOR SERVICE AGAIN! And now on April 18, 2014, Kenwood has FAILED me AGAIN! (The Excelon KDC-X597 is NOT the choice for someone who prefers to use the CD option - since that option has repeatedly disappeared - & does not return even after the reset button has been activated.) I again called Roger's Stereo back in Greenville, SC for guidance & after John Morgan walked me though to reset the stereo - which didn't resolve the issue - was instructed to find a local authorized Kenwood dealer near me since time was of the essence and my warranty would expire in a couple of weeks. John also asked if I had the original receipt & I stated I knew I did but locating it would be a different story since I've moved several times since then. He kindly offered to email a copy of the receipt. Then I called CarToys in Denton, TX & was told they could not help unless instructed by Kenwood. [The gentleman at CarToys then mentioned his father had trouble w/ a Kenwood stereo as well & that it took Kenwood 4-5 months to resolve it.]. I quickly sent an email to Kenwood and an auto replied said it would be a couple of days before I would hear back. Ugh! What luck. Then, the knight in shining armour - John Morgan from Roger's Stereo - called to check & see if I received the email. WOW! Someone actually following through! When I shared my woes with him, he quickly reassured me and came up with a satisfactory resolution. I am immensely grateful to Mr. Morgan & Roger's Stereo for going above & beyond! Thank you!

KNOW THAT YOU WILL BE TREATED RIGHT & FEEL CONFIDENT USING THEIR SERVICES!

I'm a DIY guy, and I went to Rogers on Woodruff Road to buy a few inexpensive parts that I had been unable to purchase at a big box store - so not much money to be made there.

It made no difference to employee John, who was so kind and helpful and gave valuable advice about the install (which was successful, btw). If I ever need a full service installation, there is no question who will do it - Rogers Stereo.

Thanks, guys - and Happy New Year!

Needed a radar detector hard wired into my wife's vehicle. Install went great w no problems. Took a little over an hour. Looks great. Gave me a great price on a hitch and wire install. Will be back w my Mustang to get my radar detector hard wired and get upgraded speakers. They seem to have everything and the sales guy up front was polite, respectful and quick. Good store.

This is to expose the unfair charge of $1,300.00 that Roger's Stereo imposed on my husband for NOT FIXING his golf cart. When he complained, the price was reduced to $900.00, but the golf cart was still NOT FIXED!
Money is no object and not the issue here. My husband would have paid without complaining (except under his breath), but the golf cart was NOT FIXED! So you've been warned - if you take a golf cart in need of repair to Roger's Stereo, expect to be ripped off!

I don t normally go to roger stereo and I see why I don t because they never have anything that I need. Literally just came to the store to try to find a speaker harness one guy told me I need to find a picture of my speakers because he wasn t sure of what I needed and I m thinking to myself it s like every other 6x9 what else do I need so besides him continuing to help me he went out to smoke a cigarette unprofessional didn t even see if I still needed help. So I asked the other guy who was at the register if they sell speaker harness and he seemed like he knew what I was talking about but he said they didn t. So don t go to roger stereo they never have what you need.

Sweet baby Jesus where do I begin? So...I needed a remote starter in my Beemer years ago and the sales rep did his thing and recommended the viper. I thought it was too overpriced so I never got it done. Fast fwd to last week when I now have a different car and need the same. I thought since I kinda have an idea of what I want, I'll go to their website. Mistake. Too hard to navigate. We consumers just want to be able to filter what we need the remote starter to do, not the brand. How would we know?? So anyway, in the spirit of supporting the local stores vs the chain stores, I happily go by there, you know, benefit of a doubt. I walk in....nothing. I walk around...not even a hello. I look dead at their eyes...nothing. So I m looking around the store for what I need. Finally find it on the counter like it doesn't even belong there. Why did a guy come from the back office, walk AROUND ME like I was in his way and attend to another customer? What, I didnt smell like money? The rep behind the counter finished with a customer and he stayed staring at the computer. I finally walked out real slow to give him a chance to redeem himself...nothing! Roger stereo......its the BASIC and I mean BASIC customer service that makes a big difference in your P&Ls. So.....went to Best Buy and I almost hugged the sales rep at the entrance coz OMG! Needless to say, I got hooked up real nice.

I can't say enough about the experience I had at Rogers Stereo. They have a salesman there named Brad, and he did an excellent job of assisting me in choosing the right stereo to suit my needs. I explained to him what I was looking for, and how much I was looking to spend. Brad listened to me and made some suggestions for me to choose from. He explained how each device was different, and that really helped me to make an informed decision. Rogers Stereo made the tedious task of finding a car stereo and getting it installed painless. I would recommend Rogers Stereo to anyone. I would also recommend they see Brad. He really knows his stuff.

I got my tint and alarm system done at Roger's. Cheap tint is peeling and nicks every time you bump into to it with anything . Very cheap and poor quality tint. The alarm was junk, stopped working within a year. Door panel wasn't put back on right. The electric door locks don't work after they installed the alarm . Bottom line is Roger's uses cheap products and charges big bucks.

Took my brand new 2017 Ford Mustang to have front ...

Took my brand new 2017 Ford Mustang to have front and rear deck speakers installed with an amplifier. I arrived at the agreed upon appointment at 9 am on a Saturday. At 3:30 p.m. that day, I received a call from an employee there that was confused about what type of work was supposed to be done on my car. So, I had to tell him what the order was and realized that my car had been sitting there for 7 and a half hours without any work being done to it! They did not seem to think it was a big deal and implied that I would have to leave my car with them over the weekend. I mean I do work a job. That's the whole point of scheduling on a Saturday. After they maybe had realized it would be an inconvenience for me to be without my car for three days, they decided to just change out the speakers that day and that I would have to bring it back the upcoming Monday to install the amp. So, I arranged for someone to follow me to Rogers Stereo to drop my car off and be taken to work. They promised me that the car would be ready around my lunch time between 2 and 3 pm. I told them if it would take longer to please let me know so I could take my lunch later. I get off at 7 p.m. which is well passed Rogers closing time. I did get a courtesy call and was told that the car would DEFINITELY be finished at 3 p.m. So, I informed my supervisor that I would take my lunch at 3:30 p.m. I arrived at Rogers at 3:45 pm and they still were not finished! They actually needed a few more hours. I was livid at this point. Why did I not get another call about the progress of the work? The Rogers employees once again did not seem to think this was a big deal and showed no empathy about my situation. They thought by offering to drive MY car to my place of employment would be doing me a great favor and settle their mishaps. They claimed to have given me a discount for the inconvenience but it was over a hundred dollars more than what I was quoted. The install looked great but the speakers make a lot of vibrating noise. They were supposed to have install sound dampening material but, they did not do a great job with that. One speaker is quiet, one make's minimal noise, one make's a moderate amount of noise, and one make's a ton of noise. This limits how much I can turn my amplifier up and overall volume. I did not want to go back to Rogers to have them fix the issue because of the awful experience but I was convinced by friends and another car stereo shop to have Rogers fix the issue. I dreadfully took my car back to Rogers and told them what was going on. One of the employees, John, actually took the time out to come and listen what was going on. He said that he knew exactly what was wrong with it and would get it taken care of. I also showed him my receipt and proved that I was still under the 90 day warranty. I get a call later that day while at work and was told a different story about the speaker issues. John said that the noisiest speaker is actually "busted on the bottom part" and that the problem is that they do not have the exact speaker to replace in stock. He stated that they do have the exact one from display that he could sell me for $100. I went along with the offer because I was at work and just wanted the problem to finally be taken care of. I get down to Rogers stereo on my lunch break again and was ensured by John that the problem is taken care of. He said that it sounds much different than it was when I brought it to him that morning. He said it was like "night and day." Well, that was a lie. The speakers sound just as bad as they did before. Also, the passenger door is loose one end and a couple of screws were not replaced in that door. I found one of the screws. I paid $845 just to have maybe damaged passenger door and speakers poorly installed. This is has been the worst customer experience ever and I can not understand how a place like this is in business.
