I have been satisfied so far with this company. They need to offer better, more concise descriptions of the parts. I purchased lower ball joints that displayed sealed joints, but was sent ones with grease fittings which would not fit my vehicle. Also, local auto parts stores have been, or are starting to compete with your prices, for example, price matching or even beating prices because of your shipping cost. There is no reason to deal with this company if the local stores match prices.

No chrome trim! Play email back and forth because RockAuto doesn't have the guts to talk to me. They finally call me and still refuse to reimburse me for the missing chrome trim.

They're crooks!!! I ordered parts and chose next day pm delivery. After not receiving my order on time I requested the refund of my shipping costs as I paid much extra for expedited shipping. I was told that although I ordered and paid for next day pm shipping it was not guaranteed only a target delivery date that's subject to change and tug that they would not refund my shipping. The next day passed, then the next and my parts have still not arrived. It's now 5 days later, my parts have not arrived, I have not even gotten an expected delivery date from the shipper FedEx.. I have sent several emails complaining that my next day pm delivery has turned into 2,3,4 and 5 days and again requesting a refund of the extra shipping costs I paid for yet did not receive remotely the benefit for. Refund denied, in fact, they have now closed my complaint so that any new emails I send are returned unanswered. So, here I sit in my livingroom in rural Missouri unable to leave because my car is disabled waiting for these parts $26 (the cost of the additional expedited next day pm shipping) with no indication of when my parts will arrive wondering why I did business with Rockauto.com. I should've stuck with amazon who is dependable and guaratees the products and services they sell. Dont do business with this Company. You should be suspect of any company that does not have a customer service telephone contact number on their website. It means they arent customer friendly and they do NOT care about your business enough to do the right thing!!!

Their online order photo illustrated the correct part for my vehicle, but they shipped a different part and refused replace it or to refund my payment. Their online return program is terrible and their phone support is lousy too. Save yourself a lot of hassle and money buy from another source. Worst dealer I ever encountered.
Parts incorrectly listed as stud and nut. I had to reorder, hopefully will get the needed parts after another week of wait. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE NO ONE TO SPEAK WITH. Your on your own when ordering from this site.

I would give them zero stars if I could their return policy is totally unfair when their the one who made the mistake. I ordered control arms for my 06 Mazda tribute 2.3 L engine missing hardware. They said it was an error in catalog description. Couldn't send it back parts ready to be installed and now getting ready to have the brakes and rotors installed they sent the wrong size. They sent brake pads and rotors for a AWD not a 2WD so now they saying I stuck and can't return or exchange them for the correct parts so if the boxes had the description on when I checked I would have sent them back right away. So double triple check it's sad to think you can't trust people these days so said if the problem not corrected I personally won't be using them for parts again. Trust out the window
I ordered an item from them and I put in the wrong address I so I went in to fix the issue and not only did they cancel my order but they also took out the money from account and now I have to wait 5-7 business days if not longer to get refunded and won t have a vehicle to use for even longer for a mistake that was there issue and they made no effort to fix. Don t even bother there customer service is a joke just got to EBAY OREILLY AUTO PARTS LR AUTOZONE companies that actually care about there customers.

Parts arrive very quickly, always earlier than the estimated delivery date. I own 4 older pickups at varying ages and conditions. I order parts from them fairly often. Never have a problem getting parts. Customer service people are always pleasant to deal with. I have only received the wrong part once, it was due to incorrect info given to them by the mfr. Returning the part was pretty easy, they emailed me a FedEx label and I dropped it off. I know no one is perfect, but these guys are good and have saved me quite a bit of money versus buying from the walk in store.
After ordering $1500 Dollars in parts, I realized I made a huge mistake... @ least $600 in parts did not fit my Truck. It took me 4-5 weeks to finish the entire Job. By that time I was not able to return any of the parts that were unusable. They even had the nerve to repackage some of the parts they didn't have in stock with "similar" parts of lesser coast & quality. I wish I would have read reviews before investing so much HARD EARNED money with a company who doesn't even have a customer service representative to speak with. Now these parts are collecting dust & Rock Auto won't allow returns since everything is processed online. The return policy starts when you place the order, not when you receive the parts. What a waste choosing Rock Auto for repair parts!
Paid extra for overnight shipping, tracking states picked up but carrier states it hasn't been picked up. No customer service to call will never buy from again a couple of bucks more is worth the customer service else were....

most do not know the difference in models. rock auto will not always have what you need. sometimes the dealer only carries certain parts. they do have most common items, but you have to know the difference. this is where well educated technicians come in to play. I have ordered many parts from rock auto and haven't had any problems yet. I will be ordering many more in the future.

This is my second order with RockAuto. My first order arrived on time with the correct part just as listed. The price difference between purchasing locally and from RockAuto was embarrassing for Canada. Suffice it to say that the same price difference applies to this order as well. The savings amount to between 50 and 75% of what Canadian aftermarket supplies are asking and this includes the cost of shipping. I did have a question about shipping costs on one item (a CD-ROM) that had a very high shipping charge and they took the time to explain why the costs were so high. As it states on the item description this item had to be shipped from the manufacturer to RockAuto and then reshipped to me thusly the high cost. Will review again after this round of orders are complete. Preparing a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee for safety check and RockAuto was only supplier with the ability to provide all parts needed.
Do Not Buy from Rockauto! Beware! I ordered balljoints and outer tie rod ends from rockauto and only one of the four parts received seemed to be genuine moog. The parts I received, although in a moog box have no markings to indicate it is moog (no quality moog boot, no problem solver stamped into joint, rather an inferior boot) and when I took it to AutoZone, they told me it is IDENTICAL TO DURALAST! My mechanic said to send them back as I was sent 3 inferior parts in a moog box! After calling customer service and being hung up on by Nate (Employee #153) a customer Service Manager no less, I called at least 4 more times in an attempt to reach someone who could help me get the premium moog parts I ordered. Not some reboxed cheap parts trying to be passed off as genuine moog. The genuine moog part was clearly of better construction and durability, evident by the boot and the greasing ability. I am so frustrated at this point I will send the parts back and Will NEVER order from rockauto again! The customer service is the worst and they don't care if the customer isn't satisfied. Even worse they want to stick me with the return shipping when they sent me inferior non-genuine moog trying to be passed off as premium moog parts. Fed up!!! Rockauto is the worst! Buyer beware! Everyone in customer service claims to be a manager and when you ask to speak to the manager's manager, of course there is nobody available. They will never see another penny from me and this order is Going Back!

I would rate this company less than one star if that was possible. Sent me an empty box. Then calls me to tell me they're out of that particular part and to order from another manufacturer they carry. Would not work with me on price or the shipping that was almost double the price of the part. I now have a customer that will not be getting his vehicle back when promised and now have to explain to him that the repair will be more expensive. Not impressed. Not happy. Not willing to work with them in the future. I guess you get what you pay for.

I ordered brake kit (rotors, pads, sensors) and paid an extra $45 for next business day shipping. When the parts did not arrive, I emailed customer service and got and automated response that I was still going to receive the parts at the original date/time which has already past. It turns out that the 'parts shipped' email was sent when the label was printed, and the shipment never left the FedEx facility of origin until after the original deliver date/time had passed.
After exchanging multiple emails with rockauto, they said they would refund the difference ($12) between the Next Business Day and Second Business Day shipping. They said this rebate was a "courtesy" to me. If you need expedited shipping, don't order from rockauto.
Both items I ordered did not fit my car although I carefully tried to match up my car model. Wiper blades just a fraction off... too big, I did not return the items because the shipping back was more energy and money then it was worth.
Sad to say but paid 50 sum dollars for expedited shipping. Not only did I not get the parts . DHL left them at someone else's place but they don't know where. Issue sent to 'investigations ' other rock auto package from different warehouse on the same day driver says incorrect address. I know my address!! . Rock auto says fill out some forms and we will look into it. $179 gone basically. And now I have to get parts elsewhere and quick.

I had never ordered from Rock Auto but I needed to replace the struts, shocks, and related components on my wife's car and so I decided to try RA. The prices were the best I could find and the shipping was quick.
I had seen a review or two of RA that was less than flattering so I wasn't sure how their return policy would work but I realized I made a mistake and one of the parts I had ordered was wrong. I checked the RA website and got a return label very easily and at a great price (~$6.50) to return an entire strut assy.
Well, after ordering from RA with 3 separate orders and a return over the last 2 weeks and never a "miss", I'm sold. I'm going to check RA first!

Worst customer service experience ive had from any automotive related company. DO NOT BUY from here if youre trying to fix your primary vehicle. Save yourself the headache and weeks of being carless. Go to a local auto parts shop just do it.
Worst customer service out of any parts supplier or store in the US. They charged us twice for the same order and now through PayPal or them there is no direct phone number or way to have them correct the situation or file a dispute in less than 10 days good place to shop at if you want them to literally steal money out of your bank account

This use to be an awesome. Now you cannot get ahold of anyone, got a starter that the shipping box was fine, the part box was destroyed, part was broken, and it had some other customers paperwork and information in the box. The "brand new" part was covered in grease, obviously been installed and deinstalled, returned and shipped right to me. Had to drive an hour to the nearest DHL hub to save the cost of shipment usps. Even though it came to me via usps. Overall waited a week to get part and save 40 dollars, had to get part locally at higher price, and wasted hours of my time returning the broken used "new" part. To top it all off return paperwork had "threats" that if parts box was damaged I wouldnt get a refund.
Sent the wrong rotors can't get ahold of anybody to make sure I get the rotors and time so they can be put on my car so I can get my car back to go to work

I bought a fuel tank fuel pump assembly. Fuel pump went bad 5 days after I installed it. A piece broke off and wouldn't allow fuel to flow and it stranded me 5 miles from home. It cost me another 240.00 to have my mechanic try to fix it and found out that was the problem. plus I had to have it towed to his shop. I find it very discouraging that they won't refund my money for a defected part. I don't think I should have to send the whole thing back and be out more money for shipping and without a truck. I used to tell alot of people how cheap parts were to buy here and now I can tell them not to because they don't treat theie customers fair.
Have ordered THOUSANDS of dollars of parts from these guys. Today had the worst customer service experience ever. Ursula was her name, zero politeness and ZERO KNOWLEDGE was her game. Worst experience ever, hope that her methods are reviewed. More reps like her on the phone and RockAuto will lose business like mine.

I ordered 2 emission sensors for my car on a Monday and the parts were at my house 2 days later. Including shipping charge the cost was still less then half of what 3 local auto part supplies wanted. Yes I'll use them again.
I ordered Timken bearings and Paid an expensive price and received FAG bearings. I called to get this corrected and that is when the RA Male representative showed poor customer service skills and told me to take it up with Timken and if I wanted to return the product that I would be responsible for the return cost. I will not be ordering from them anymore and will not recommend this company to anybody. I believe this to be FRAUD!

Wouldn't let me return NEW parts. I've ordered dozens of times over the past several years. However,n now I'm taking my business elsewhere that actually lets you return NEW parts in a reasonable time period.
purchased parts and paid for expedited shipping and it never even left their warehouse till 48hrs after I placed the order. tried to contact customer service what a joke!!!! automated responses to emails telling me to check the website FAQ. I have learned my lesson I will never purchase here again. I am going back to paying more and supporting local parts places. you know the kind that employ real people to handle customer service.

Rock Auto refused to consider my concealed damage claim for a Honda hood because it was outside their 5 day window for disclosure. I was not aware of the damage until my body shop notified me so it was too late and it cost me as much to repair it as purchase it, plus the freight cost is double that!
I did NOT find Rock Auto to be customer friendly or even willing to work with me on my loss. I cannot recommend them for this reason.
I also recommend that you order large auto body parts only from your local suppliers, even if it cost more, because of this kind of business policy where you are more likely to forfeit money in the event you are not able to report quickly any concealed damaged parts, like I was.

Should be a 0 they are total rip offs and their customer service is horrible. I ordered some parts on March 3, 2017 and chose to pay extra to have them shipped faster, the site indicated I would receive my parts on March 7, 2017. When I checked the order status on March 4, 2017 the site indicated that my parts wouldn't arrive until March 9, 2017. When I called their customer service the guy that answered accused me of lying before I even got to explain what the problem was, then when I asked to speak with a supervisor he hung up on me. I called back multiple times asking to speak with a supervisor and was told that they are unable to transfer me to a supervisor. If I had known my parts wouldn't be here by March 7, 2017 I wouldn't have spent the extra money to have the parts shipped faster.
Core return policy stinks. Technically it doesn't work.because it cost more to ship(customers expense). Will consider alternative to a company I gave accolade's on P.U.!part failed,one month,used it for core for local part. Couldn't print return label out 60.00 $!!!!
