Having used RMNJ for both the sale of my house and purchase of my new house, I have been very impressed with the service provided. I was kept informed every step of the way and was in regular contact with both Katerina and Dayna. Both were very approachable and informative, answering any questions I had and also updating me with any progress and requesting information. From the original pack of documents received with clear instructions of how to fill in the forms to completion date I was very impressed. A far cry from my previous experience! I've read lots of mixed reviews but my experience of RMNJ was pretty good really. They did what they were supposed to and required minimal prompting, and got back to my queries quickly most of the time. Not a bad price either.

We've recently completed on our new home purchase and RMNJ were excellent throughout. Grainne and Louise were particularly good as our assigned team but whenever I called and spoke to anyone else, they all seemed to know exactly what was going on with our case. Had a poor experience initially but managed to complete the exchange. Early on there was a lot of poor communication and several documents were misplaced leading to a lot of time wasting. In the end though everything went through but it was very close to disaster.

Had a very good experience with RMNJ. We had a very difficult sale/purchase (through no fault of RMNJ). They kept us updated throughout the whole process and worked very hard towards the end of completion to get it all sorted by the date we were required to move. Definitely the best conveyancers we've used. Catherine in particular was very good, she was always very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and use again in future.

Started well but the nearer we got to exchange the more they lost interest. Assistants very unapproachable, borderline rude. Did not like it if you dared to chase up progress (seem to forget they're being paid for a service). Updated tracker to say documents had arrived - when I questioned this I was told they had been emailed to me (they hadn't) and that they couldn't promise they'd have the time to resend (e.g. click forward on one email and send again) before the end of the day - which was a Friday so would have meant more delays. Worst of all, when we finally had everything in order I received a call, again on a Friday, to say we were ready for exchange but as Friday was the busiest day if I didn't hear anything I could assume it hadn't happened. A very nervy weekend followed - called first thing on Monday to ask what time exchange would happen that day to be curtly told that it had already happened on Friday. On day of completion we were told the sale had gone through by the estate agent, not the solicitor we were paying a pretty hefty fee. Somewhat pathetic.

Please, if you have a strong case and you know your not at fault go with different solicitor, this is the worst solicitor ever I could ask for. No communication, just money is important to them.

We used RMNJ for the sale of our flat and purchase of our house. The team (David and Catherine) were fantastic and both were very responsive on what were sometimes challenging transactions. Our experience with RMNJ was nothing short of superb. I can't recommend our solicitor David Meyer highly enough. He was always friendly, efficient and unbelievably helpful. As first time buyers I'm sure we were asking endless amounts of silly questions but he always made time to go the extra mile for us and break things down in ways we could understand. I had a strict time line for my buy to let purchase and needed to complete before the 1st of April before George Osborne''s rip off stamp duty changes came into force. William and Hannah did their best in producing this for us. They are snowed under with many files worked in parallel but they didn't compromise on quality and comolested today, justhe about within 8 weeks from the day we instructed RMNJ. I found them to be very easy and personable to talk to as solicitors. This is the 3rd time I have used RMNJ in 2 years and the William / Hannah team is by far the best I have experienced. Thank you and I will be asking for them in my next coneyancing requirements.

Avoid. Very unhelpful and always dealing with different solicitors about the same remortgage. Took months because of how slow they were to reply to emails/tell us what we needed to do etc. Cost us a lot of money in delays.

As a first time buyer it was pretty daunting buying a new house. I searched for numerous conveyancers, and it seemed that most of them had bad reviews. I was admimant that I didn't want to use the Ines suggested by the estate agents.

RMNJ had some good reviews, so decided to take a shot - even though I'm not remotely local to them or had even heard of them.

Things got off to a great start, the administrators were incredibly helpful and I'm even more impressed that the final bill actually came in less than they estimated (ok, not by much, but I had visions of being given a quote and it 'inevitably' going above that, and super happy that RMNJ really was a fixed price).

Things did take a little dip for a couple of days and I got a little confused with what was going on, but a quick call to my conveyancer Joanne and we were back on track.

Even though I'm based hours away it didn't cause any complications, everything was simple and thoroughly explained.

I harassed the team with questions and always got a timely response, I always felt in the loop and even better that they took the time to spot it was my birthday and send me a email.

Even for the more complex issues, which included my help to buy equity loan and my help to buy ISA, RMNJ were able to help - even though it was an extra cost (which is normal at every conveyancer)their prices are super competitive and their knowledge was superb.

I used RMNJ for conveyancing on my house purchase from January to March of this year (they were recommended to me) and my experience of using them was excellent.

They kept me in the loop and were very responsive via email. I was quite quick with returning forms and RMNJ were just as quick to act on them. They also kept to their timescales that are mentioned in their guidance. They have designed their process to be as efficient as possible and my advice is to trust them with this and not to try and get them to deviate from this - which I accept can be hard when it's natural to be impatient when buying a house, but the key thing you can do is complete any forms and send them any documents they request, in a timely manner.

What made their service even more exceptional was the fact that even though we were going through a pandemic, I was still able to complete on my purchase and this was due on no small part to the dedication of RMNJ's staff.

We have just completed our house purchase and we couldn't have been more happier with the service David and his team provided. They showed a high degree of professionalism and greatly emphasised on efficient communications and collaboration throughout the entire process. There was always someone available to answer any of our queries. From appointment completion took 2 months. I highly recommend!

They were excellent, They understood that I do not know anything about the legal system and fought my corner to get me the best possible deal during negotiations. I highly recommend their service. I've used RMNJ Conveyancing Solicitors for a house purchase and a house sale in the last 12 months (2 separate instructions)

Both matters were dealt with efficiently and without the need for me to chase those responsible.

They were proactive in advising me in relation to TPO's, insurances and requesting indemnities from sellers.

If I ever have a house transaction again I would instruct them without hesitation.

Their prices are competitive and work is undertaken by experienced and knowledgeable staff.

I used RMNJ as a first time buyer and had a great experience, no issues whatsoever. My file was handled by Beth for the most part and she was excellent, very professional and helpful throughout! If/when I come to move on I will certainly use RMNJ again.

Where do I start? I only found them from a solicitor comparison site... they were the cheapest! But they were terrible, slow at every stage. Very sloppy with the work. Misspelt names on documents, mixing up case files, no communication, delaying the process.

Avoid RMNJ Solicitors they are terrible! If google had a minus star review, they would be getting a minus.

Outstanding. I was nervous about the stress of buying my first house and they literally took care of everything. I couldn't believe how simple the process was with their help.

They told me exactly what needed to happen and when and even went to the trouble of chasing up the sellers solicitor who was holding up the process.

I bought my first flat in Manchester recently and used RMNJ for conveyancing. Hannah Dowry was brilliant - cannot recommend highly enough. She was clear and thorough and navigated us through the tricky process really well. Above all she was very efficient, completing complex documents in seemingly no time at all! Load of rubbish endless meetings discussing the same things sending pointless letters to enable charges. Solicitor continuously on leave with knowone in her place to answer any questions. Ended up in court on my own...DO NOT USE

We have had a very positive experience using RMNJ for our conveyancing, and are frankly somewhat surprised by the negative comments by others on here. Our thanks go particularly to Cheryl McCall and Debby McCrudden for always responding to our emails promptly and their attention to details when dealing with the other party's solicitors. Sadly, we had to pull out of our purchase unexpectedly (not RMNJ's fault). All in all, speaking from our experience, we have been very impressed by their level of work and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

If you are looking for a well-priced, professional yet very human / empathetic and patient conveyancers, look NO further. I have been so impressed by the whole set-up at RMNJ; communication largely by email with such quick response times. However, I could phone and either talk immediately with my conveyancer or her support team (who knew my case inside out), or leave a message and got a callback the same day every time. We had a fairly lengthy and stressful (for us!) Sale and Purchase, and I couldn't have wished for a better team than Elsa and Kirsty - they are incredibly supportive and patient, and very skilled in property conveyancing (not to mention thorough in their queries raised and advice to me as a purchaser) - thank you for being brilliant and we are so happy in our new family home :)

Would like to thank Victoria Flynn in the assistance of purchasing our house. Cannot fault her quality of work and having a rather pain free purchase.

I used them twice for purchasing cheap freehold property which was OK, difficulties with communication, sloppy in replying to enquiries. They will need 2 weeks before they relised they have enquiries sent to them. On my sale of leashold flat I lost my buyer due to their unreliable timing of enquiries to my buyers solicitors. Myself, freeholder and estate agent had to keep contacting RMNJ and reminding the they still haven't answered enquiries.....I've lost couple of thousands paying freeholder and management agent to prepare documents.



Not surprise that they carry on even in the review now.

AVOID slow, unresponsive & rude. The clearly quoted: "anything that lands on our desks doesn't get looked at for 7-10 days"...They received search results a month before they actioned the points raised. I hadn't instructed them, it was the party 3 below us in the chain. Held up the whole process and caused huge frustrations with all other parties involved. Disgraceful service levels. To quote our estate agent: "absolutely shocking, I haven't dealt with a solicitor this bad for ages".
This is not a fake review, I made it clear I did not instruct RMNJ, I only posted my experience of their service.

We are first time buyers who had heard a lot of damning stories about all solicitors being unresponsive, slow, and generally a pain. But, what we experienced using RMNJ couldn't have been further from that! David - what a guy, he was on our side from day-dot and pushed a very difficult chain through to completion. This was my first time using RMNJ for conveyancing, after a recommendation from a family member. I would like to thank Andrew and David in the conveyancing department for a highly professional service, with clear and very prompt communication at all times throughout the process. I won't hesitate in instructing RMNJ again for my next home sale or purchase.

Customer service was a joke, spoke to me like I was a child and ended up having to shout at the assistant on the phone to get any respect from her. Not sure if all solicitors/assistants talk to people in this way as they all seemed to have this air of superiority that was really irritating. Anyway I will NEVER use these people again and would advise that you don't either! They may be cheaper than most but they are cheap for a reason....

Very professional from start to finish.
Communication keept to minimum but every single question answered.
Whole transaction was finished in 10 weeks and it was completed on the date set by me.
Overall much cheaper then high street solicitors.
No hidden fees. You pay exactly what you see on the quote. The only thing I had to pay extra was "no win no fee" but this was optional.

Moody Moody people! it does not cost much to be pleasant, i feel the employees here hate their job and when i make one phone call in 3 months it is met with absolute ugh ugh! short one word answers, arrogant and extremely selfish. Unfortunately with conveyancing it is about teamwork across several business' and companies. I will dread having to deal with this company again.

3 weeks post-moving in, have been utterly impressed with RNMJ - particularly my conveyancer, Cheryl M. She picked up things that other solicitors hadn't in the past (2 house sales in the last decade, so she clearly went through things with a fine toothcombe!) and was extremely thorough, whilst prompt with responses. My first house move, so I didn't have a clue, but Cheryl owned the process, and I'm over the moon with the end result.

I would give this Solicitor a 0 if this was an option. Your choice, but I wouldn't recommend using these Solicitors with a bargepole for conveyancing. They are unhelpful, uncommunicative, disrespectful and rude. We were supposed to exchange on 20th September, we still haven't exchanged to date as our file has been sitting on their directors desk to review and sign off for over a week, and when chased, they rudely tell us they will look at it when they get round to it and not before, and to stop bothering them!

Great communication throughout, and good processing time from start to finish. Fairly priced and good service!

We accepted a price for our property back in September 2018, our buyer uses this team, everything on go slow, took you 3 months to realise we had solar panels and you needed some further details, then another two months before you realised more details was needed to complete their clients mortgage. Wouldn't answer any emails from my solicitor or estate agent and still NO COMPLETION DATE!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't even give 1 star if it was an option. Extremely slow service, sent my break down to the wrong email, then tried to blame me for it, rude staff, no communication from them and just overall poor and slow service. They're a typical sloppy solicitors that try to blame any problems on someone else (I used to work for an estate agents so I know this is a sign of a bad conveyancing company and my new solicitors got everything from the vendors solicitors within a few day of instruction). Rmnj failed to properly disclose the onerous ground rent increases on our property, had we been informed of this we would never have purchased the house but then again they were being paid by our developer so who's best interests were they look after?

Absolutely terrible service from male staff member.Was rude, obnoxious and to say the least unprofessional.He made derogatory comments and his conduct was tantamount to breaking legal codes. KEEP AWAY!

I found RMNJ through Really Moving. I was impressed with how well organised and stress free the process of selling a probate flat was, with their help. The fees were also very reasonable. Many thanks to Vanessa and Victoria for their hard work. Highly recommended.

My experience of RMNJ was not great. They didn't seem to have a clue what stage the process was at and needed constant chasing for the simplest of answers. We even had to end up running around on the completion day whilst loading the moving truck as they had forgot to get some forms signed! I could have done a better job myself and saved a lot of money. Avoid.

Really professional service helping us buy our home ... Above all great communication throughout, always acknowledged receipt of emails and replied that day with either the answer or when we could expect to hear back by, would highly recommend.

Absolutely awful. Can't speak for the firm as a whole but we dealt with a woman called Jennifer Thompson. Trying to get responses to even the most basic enquiries was like pulling teeth, taking days or even a week +. Whenever she did respond she did not have the decency to offer a simple apology for the delays. Also a very abrupt and rude manner by phone. She took three weeks to even carry out ID checks, the first bit of work she had to do.

There were also extremely frustrating inconsistencies in what she told us, which caused, or certainly would have caused, even further unnecessary delay.

We ended up asking if the file could be dealt with by another solicitor at the firm but she said this wasn't possible, so we cancelled the instruction rather than having to continue dealing with her.

To emphasise the point, the next firm that we've been dealing with have been everything she wasn't: quick, helpful, courteous and so on.

Also shows that, contrary to RMNJ's line, a pandemic isn't a catch all excuse for terrible service. If you're too busy, either take on more staff or fewer clients.

Friendly staff but unable to assist with my situation

Being first time buyers my partner and I had been told by many people to choose a reliable solicitor as many can be slow and a nuisance to get hold off. After our initial solicitor not having our chosen mortgage lender on their list we were forced to find another solicitor. My partner was recommended RMNJ by a family member and at first I was a little skeptical as they were based up north. However, I cannot fault RMNJ! From the get go the service was fantastic. David sent out our initial paperwork straight away and it was clearly set out with excellent instructions for first time buyers who are a little clueless.
We never had to wait for a response from David via email, and he always picked up the phone when we had queries. He made the whole process from start to finish very smooth and easy. We would recommend RMNJ without hesitation due to the fantastic service we received and at a fraction of the cost of other solicitors.

We have used RMNJ twice now for our house purchase and sale. We dealt with Patricia and Gareth. We found them extremely professional and most importantly readily available. They always replied within a few hours (if not sooner) and dealt with everything promptly. I have no concerns whatsoever and would highly recommend them.

Very slow, with lack of communication. Polite to clients but very rude to estate agents. Have to constantly ring to get updates, and when you do ring they tell you everyone's busy and to phone back later. Very rarely reply to emails.

I have just completed the sale of my house and purchase of another with RMNJ having found them through the conveyancing comparison site 'really moving'.

So pleased I did, the service was superb, by far the best I've ever experienced for conveyancing. You had a direct dial to your own solicitor (not their pa) who answered within a couple of rings. Nothing was too much trouble with great communication via telephone, email and text. Not being local to me was not a problem and I found it far more efficient via email than post when it could be.

So far not great. 10 days after a mortgage offer we still heard nothing so called in. The advisor (not our case officer who is pretty hard to reach) stated they had not seen the offer and furthermore hadn't done anything to chase it up. I then had to make several calls back and forth, with one call to RMNJ ending with the advisor talking over me to cut off the conversation, rudely saying 'OK thanks we will be in touch' before hanging up on me!! Unbelievable! I have never had such a bad customer service experience.
After chasing, complaining, chasing again and complaining again they 'managed to find the offer' and hopefully will continue to take our case seriously.
I would not recommend.

I highly recommend Jo Langton and the team at RMNJ for conveyancing services. Everyone I know who has bought/sold a property has had bad experiences with their solicitors so I expected the same. But RMNJ were great value for money and a delight to deal with, very proactive and have helped with a number of issues that came up after completion. I ll definitely be using them again and recommend to everyone.

Good experience with Emma and the team for what has been a slow and difficult process. Emma reviewed our cases thoroughly, and made every effort to push our exchange over the line on its 6th attempt. Very easy to contact and get updates, good pricing, and good visibility of progression. Would recommend.

Doubled up with Countryside cowboys when we bought our first home and failed to give exact and precise details of the property being leasehold and its potential implications. When we finally bought the freehold and wrote a complaint letter, RMNJ took the moral high ground by sending us copies where it was mentioned it is lease hold and ground rent etc. Fair enough it did, you as a conveyancing firm should tell me everything i should need to know before buying a property, it cant be just said it was mentioned in paper work sent to you. I know now why Countryside had RMNJ as their partners, both dishonest and sly
