Sevice, cleaning, quiet. If you want a relaxing vacation is your hotel. The vegetarian buffet is excellent. I usually visit it in January. Although it needs a restoration since it is very classic.

Excellent handling corona protocol!

Excellent handling corona protocol!
Safe as it can be.
Exeptional clean, and sorry for the hotel itself ,not so busy, witch we found pleasant.
Personnel are apparently under pressure to work "a bit too" hard.

Hotel in a stunning location right in front of the dunes of the Maspalomas nature reserve. It's a Down chain hotel so it offers a more than acceptable standard with regards to the rooms, actually a little dated, and the food (we had half board). The staff is attentive and helpful. Lunches are held on two shifts to avoid overcrowding, and you must choose on arrival. Not being Nordic, you certainly prefer the second, less crowded. Large garden and pool. Positive judgment

Staff amazing could not fault anything at all. Entertainment good, had a wonderful and relaxing holiday in a lovely setting.

I really loved this hotel, I really recommend coming, the food was what I liked the most, I ate until I couldn't eat anymore, everything is really great, I was very satisfied with everything, the people who work there are very friendly, and I was well received , large and clean pools, jacuzi, this hotel really has a lot of class, it really is a palace, I would live in that hotel if I could ahah!

Located next to the Dunes with wonderful views, two magnificent swimming pools, wide buffet and medium-high quality. You just need to have the closest beach, without having to cross the dunes to give the 5 stars but thanks to that, you are in a very quiet area, which is appreciated in part if you seek tranquility.

Very nicely located hotel, hotel guests older than 60 and also a little posh that is also reflected in the booking price .. Dead silence at the pool for families with children a no go! Eat but great a very large selection of the quality of meat and fish. From September onwards you have to wear long trousers and closed shoes for dinner as a man and the women are of course allowed to eat with the miniskirt.

Room in need of renovation we had a room with a bathtub and carpeting and the furnishings were a little dated. We also had a balcony with a view of the main pool and the wonderful dunes. A little tip in confidence during our stay we were called in the evening on the last evening by the reception whether we would have the room that the pool towels would have hung over the railing, we should eliminate this would not be allowed!
Oh yes, something else during our stay was a Spanish cooking show with the film team and children, so the dress code was more relaxed at dinner, shorts and flip-flops were allowed for the film team. There was a lot of discussion about it here. With the children at dinner there was also a good mood in the booth.

Are very nice and the location of the hotel on the dunes is great. Of course there are also gays and lesbians in this hotel, but that didn't bother us at all
If you like to stay in the cemetery, this is the place for you

The hotel leaves nothing to be desired. The rooms are well equipped and offer all comfort. With the beautiful balcony view over the dune to the sea you feel like Aladin. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A holiday paradise to relax.

Hotel Top! Great employee and very professional. But unfortunately many Germans the signs at the pool can not read. That means at 7 o'clock All are already reserved. Really annoying! German mentality More should be respected.

Great location with beautiful views of the dunes and the sea. The food could be better quality. Meal time is very restless, which is still encouraged by the hectic, yet friendly staff. Optical performance no highlight, little variety in the dessert. Garden with swimming pools very attractive.

Excellent as usual. Every single thing is thought of. The staff are amazing. I always put on a few pounds when I come here. The food is too good. The show cooking when the duck or lamb is on is my favourite. Every area of the hotel is well maintained and there is a real pride by the people who work there in the service they provide. I think I may return here every year until the day I die. Yes. It's that good.

Great hotel with very friendly and outgoing personnel overall. Mostly older crowd and quiet at the pool. The rooms are good, but the bed is quite hard and pillows not that great. The breakfast is the best I've had outside of Sweden. Not that much good restaurants Ana bars/cocktail lounges close to the hotel though. But overall a really nice and pleasant visit!

Paradise. Best hotel in the world. Fantastic setting, views and amenities. Perfect for us as a retired quiet couple when we are in need of winter sunshine. Sitting outside for breakfast sipping complementary prosecco is a real delight and helps to wash away all our winter woes. Great range of dishes for dinner in the evening. Particularly tasty last week were: king prawns, roast lamb, spare ribs, lentil soup. We have eaten far too well and far too much. All staff are fantastically helpful and cheery. Drinks at mealtimes, from the bar and pool area are rather expensive, but we forgive them that.

Superlative quality. Of all the Riu Resorts/Hotels I have experienced, this is the best. And thats after the second day. This is a Hotel Chain that knows what it's doing and gets it right first time.

Good deal, the waiters of the buffet are excellent, IN SPECIAL (MARITA). A lovely person, made us spend a fantastic evening and with a family-like treatment. The buffet food is very good. The rooms and the rest of the hotel in need of renovation are obsolete. And the beds are very uncomfortable, the furniture in general is quite old. I did not like the system for the loan of the pool towels, it is quite uncomfortable and it did not seem right to be charged for the safe in the room. (IT'S VERY CUTRE). Having a safe in a hotel room is super basic. Otherwise all right. Hotel recommended for short stays.

I wont digress into the qualities of the hotel in general. However, my overall experience there has been completely destroyed by the incompetent, ignorant, unhelpful receptionist and presumably the hotel director who didn't want to talk to me in person. We had an issue after the stay and the hotel behaved like the worst possible shack. Fully transactional behavior, like you didn't pay multiple thousand euros for your stay. I don't ever want to get treated this way. So in order to keep me safe from people like that, we will never book any Riu hotel again.

Great hotel situated right on the edge of Maspalomas sand dunes. The staff here always seemed to be smiling and happy. The overall service was excellent and just what work would be expecting from a top rated hotel. The pool areas were clean and there were always plenty of sun beds available no matter what time of the day. Food was a very high standard too and the Krystal Restaurant is well worth a visit too.

Yes. Decor is a bit older, but nothing is broken or closed. Exudes a fantastic charm and feel-good atmosphere. Brilliant and friendly staff. Nice pool landscape. And the view of the dunes on your doorstep is not affordable. The only drawback: the beach is 15 minutes, but on a picturesque promenade with dunes and sea views. Or you can take a taxi which parked directly in front of the door / leaves for 3.80 directly to the beach (taxi fare 1 per kilometer). For me, Riu Palace Maspalomas is one of the best hotels I know and an unrestricted recommendation.
