Good aperitifs and also the breakfasts I have consumed. I was there two years ago but I have fond memories of this place and the pleasant atmosphere I breathed. You can also sit outside in the courtyard of the former prison where the cafeteria is located, in the historic center of Florence. I came back and I will come back again every time I come to Florence

The walls .. very nice place ideal to spend time in company or alone. Cultural center that allows various types of things to do, from students who prefer to study at parties of all kinds. A little informal a little like at home. Very good food and nice courteous and very helpful staff. I have been there in the winter and you are distracted and I have to say that in every season it offers its why. I highly recommend it to see the recovery of the surrounding place, yes for an excellent aperitif accompanied by various types of food. Best wishes to Nicola the barman !!

A unique place in Florence, to relax while drinking and eating in a spectacular setting, a former prison that is now reborn. Concerts and evenings for all tastes.

A little expensive (beers at 4-5 ), but it is very good, with music, without tourists and without excessive people. Good young atmosphere at night, which is when you are best on the terrace in summer.

Cozy place inside the ex historical prison of Florence. The large outdoor area was the prison yard for the prisoners' air hours. Today you can spend the evening at one of the many tables enjoying a simple drink or taking advantage of the rich buffet set up for an aperitif. Almost every evening musicians and artists take turns on the outside stage of the venue with concerts, musical or other performances.

Wonderful place set in an old jail with loads of seating out in the courtyard.

HUGE selection of cocktails. Veggie and vegan options for the buffet.
Occassional entertainment.

Quite far from the tourist chaos, a place full of cultural activities. Such a gathering place is almost rare in Florence. Where you can sit without having to consume. And attend concerts. And in the winter moments, stay inside to read, study. It reminds me a bit of a European mittel way of aggregation

The place is itself a nice place, a shame for the non-optimal management of the restaurant. We ordered three simple coffees, apart from the unjustified wait, the price of three coffees served at the counter 1.50 is not adequate. Among other things, I pointed out that the receipt shows the wording barley coffee, we asked for it is consumed normal coffee. The manager told us that the price is the same ???? Rude and rough service.

If it were possible at this place I would give it even less than a star. The place is nice too, but the people who work there work are thieves. Some friends and I organized an event where the dinner was supposed to be a buffet, the owners of the place offer us the slightly more expensive option by promising us an evening similar to a dinner, with appetizers, first courses of various kinds and second courses. The result was that as soon as we arrived, they did not even seat us if we did not pay the amount of the entire dinner first, and then offered us some poor meats and trays of pasta with meat sauce, of seconds the shadow was not seen . My advice, if you really have to go to this den of thieves, is to look at it well and leave.

Nice, cosy and vibrate with life . A true atmosphere that reflect what it ought to be...drink, eat, relax and reflect( just a nice place have read and some conversations).

This place is so cool! I love coming here on rainy mornings to study with a coffee. An americano is only 1,20 which is pretty cheap compared to most places (they like to charge extra for that hot water!). They're very nice here and there are also a good handful of plugins for computers!

The atmosphere and surrounding buildings are nice, but the food is not great and the drinks are expansive.
You can have a drink and two plates of food for 10 euros, which is nice, but again: the food is no more than OK.

A nice, young, welcoming restaurant with a side room where musical or literary events are often hosted. The exterior on the square is also very beautiful.
