I was lucky enough to get to know Mr. Michele, the owner, by phone for a reservation. He was very kind and extremely helpful. In the end, we canceled the reservation with regret. I ask forgiveness for our behavior. I still review the warmth, kindness and sympathy. We hope to meet one day to make up for it.

We have been coming to this magnificent place for years and are equipped for children and adults. We eat like god.

Lovely place right on the sea run by a wonderful family. Where you can enjoy great food served by the most efficient staff.

Charming place, transparent sea all framed by the excellent home cooking, the perfect cleanliness of the rooms and the friendliness of all the staff. Michele the owner, always attentive and available to satisfy any need. The characteristic Tropea, is only 8 km; to visit. Too beautiful. Do not go away from CICCIO if you do not enjoy the (hot canoe) made of excellent homemade ice cream. This year has already been our fourth time, what more can we say (SIN; and already finished !!) AT THE NEXT CYCLE !!! And thank you very much.

Great food and standard service. Great location but a bit crowded and noisy as it is inside the village and if you are looking for a non touristic place this is not the one. It is worth it to taste the great fresh fish they offer!

With the family we were able to taste the excellent ice creams offered by the hotel's ice cream parlor. I recommend trying the "canoe", their specialty.

2 weeks in this village directly on the sea, splendid but above all courtesy, kindness, excellent cuisine, cleaning staff always available. A big thank you to the owner Michele.

Cute and with all the comforts. It remains a bit closed, but it is the price to pay to stay directly on the sea.

Place of total relaxation directly on the sea suitable for families with children and for those looking to unplug. Thanks to Michele omnipresente, courteous and helpful in everything thanks to Romina for her professionalism and for having advised and organized the tour in the Aeolian Islands. Good and fresh food, impeccable cleanliness with respect for the anti Covid-19 protocol.

The canoe is not bad but I am not crazy about ice cream, plus many flavors of ice cream were not available, you can improve it !!

Very nice and clean hotel, very nice green in the common areas, directly on the sea with clean private beach with shower. It features private parking.
The strengths are the always varied excellent restaurant, with local quality raw materials and with a breathtaking view of the sea, the kindness of all the very helpful staff, finally the sea practically attached to the hotel.
Suitable for families with children in the evening on the menu the possibility of having the ice cream that Mr. Ciccio prepares for the hotel ice cream parlor ... very good to be enjoyed on the terrace.

Ciccio sul mare is always the top. Great place to rest and eat well, in a family environment. I always recommend it to friends and acquaintances because I know I never make a bad impression!

We spent a week at Michele's and my partner's since September 8th 2018, I don't want to dwell too much because there would be so much to write to make you understand what an extraordinary place it is. However, a holiday there is complete relaxation, simple cooking (in the sense that there are no processed foods, among other things we do not like them, we prefer by far a simple and genuine cuisine) but really delicious, everything that was brought on the table it was very fresh, the ice cream is artisanal and of a great taste, the sea even to say how beautiful it is, and besides convenient parking, market in two steps, in short we spent a truly unforgettable holiday, thank you very much Michele for the love you put in managing that delightful little place, and thanks to all your friendly and professional staff, thank you thank you !!!

We have just returned home with so much nostalgia we miss Michele and company all very kind helpful ..... like being in the family. From ciccio on the sea you eat very well ..... all excellent food ditto the cleaning of the room. We will see you soon Michele a hug.

The ice cream is very overrated, the famous canoe is not as good as it turns from the photos. The place is not that great Xche is located inside a beehive type residence. In the complex it is discreet but in these areas there is much better.

Personally I only went to the ice cream shop but the hotel and the village look very nice and well cared for the ice cream shop is very good they also make a "boat" with waffles and spectacular ice cream

It is an oasis of paradise: the crystal clear sea (perfect for snorkeling) is wonderful, the staff very kind and helpful, the entertainment is fun but not intrusive. Homemade food is a pleasure and phenomenal ice cream. I highly recommend this place: once you've discovered it, you must love it!

I don't know how to hotel, but it is renowned for its ice cream, a canoe specialty, a hot wafer made with ice cream. Special.

Positives: the splendid sea, the position directly on the sea, cleanliness, availability, good food, attention to us lactose intolerant.
Negatives: no waterfront, nothing to do besides the hotel, no dessert other than ice cream, short beach (unlivable in the high season)!

Beautiful and quiet beach, many types of fish in the sea. First place where they make almond granita. Molto buonna mandorla granita.

The Pugliese family runs this gem set in a wonderful cove just south of Capo Vaticano.

Room 19: we fell asleep with the melody of the waves and woke up with the same sound .... For a trip to the islands, they prepared breakfast2 hours before ..... what say more? We stayed a week from "ciccio sul mare", a wonderful holiday! The rooms are fresh, comfortable and clean, with a private terrace in the shade, a table and a drying rack: Very comfortable! The sea really close by, wonderful, with sand and rocks, the girls had fun with masks to see the many fish. Excellent and plentiful restaurant Michele, Michele and all the very kind, helpful and courteous staff, the entertainers Martina and Vincenzo very nice and good, an unobtrusive and nice animation. I highly recommend it. We will be back!

Before vacation in Calabria is I could not choose better, Michele is an exceptional person welcomes you and guides you in everything, very nice location and suitable especially for families where a constant animation is fun for all children, large rooms and air-conditioned, menu with few things right but many things made from them. Very good breakfast. Excellent beach with umbrellas included in the price of the structure. Attention should be snapped up !! Hi Michele

The very famous "Canoa" good wafer, but the ice cream is without taste, the hazelnut does not taste of hazelnut, the chocolate does not taste of chocolate ... Mah

Sea and beautiful place, beautiful hotel and very good food!

We spent a lovely week of August 2017 in this village. The pros: Directly on the sea, friendly staff (apart from the extraordinary Michele, very kind and always available, I also remember Antonio at the tables), excellent breakfast (I eat fruit I had a dedicated dish for me) although not very varied, excellent family room with 2 rooms, entertainment present but not exasperating, lunches and dinners served well and very good and light, very beautiful fireworks. The only negative side is the extraordinary sea due to the presence of rocks and large stones entering the water but the beach is neat and clean and there are excursions to beautiful nearby beaches. If there will be an opportunity I will be back again!

I went specially to this place from Tropea to taste one of his famous hot canoes (ice cream on a soft warm cookie made on the spot), and I must say that in fact the ice cream was good! The service, on the other hand, was rather slow, and there were few seats than the present clientele.
I would definitely go back for the ice cream, but starting again from Tropea, after all, is not worth it!

Beautiful place located directly on the sea. Perfect for families with children as it is a small village where children can safely walk around on their own. The food delicious and the staff and friendly. The owner Michele and he does his job well and always very helpful. I'm sure that's one of the few places to go again.
