The hotel rooms were clean and nice. There was one regular coffee available in a room of four people, that was disappointing. The bathrooms were clean n toiletries good, usable. The bottled water is not free so carry that. But there is fresh lemon water and glasses near the hotel lobby. The parking lot is a bit of a walk about 10 mins. But there is shortcut to walk back using the stairs between the hotel entrance n the lot. So you can drop the luggage at hotel then go and park and then walk back to the rooms. We did not use other amenities like the pool, jacuzzi.

The prices are what can be expected for a resort. Staying on the first floor in March. The first floor with this much snow doesn't allow you to walk out on property, so be mindful if you request it. Snow is a little icy/slushy because it is end of season and there hasn't been snowfall in a couple of days. Food at the resort is good and cocktails are on point. Sandy's pub and the pizza have been great. I would highly recommend making use of the kitchenette if you have one for breakfast stuffs. Two people for room service will run about $75. The Olympic sports massage was fantastic and only a little more expensive than what I would normally go out of my way for.

Attended a wedding here amongst about 6 feet of snow. Gorgeous venue wonderful food and helpful staff! We didnt stay there overnight but attended the rehearsal dinner, had drinks at the downstairs pub, and attended the wedding, cocktail hour, and reception there. They have an ice skating rink onsite in the winter, and had a bar set up in the lobby during the day which was a nice touch.

Rented a suite for the weekend. View wasnt very good because we were put on the backside of the hotel. Drinks poolside were pricey and inconsistent in quality. Food was good. Room quality wasn't as nice as it looked, leaky shower that isn't large enough for two to use. Not the best anniversary spot.

A nice resort away from the hustle and bustle of the Village. The facilities are a tad dated -- it's like a nice Sheraton. 6 different restaurants on-site. The kids menus range from $8 for in-room dining, to $13 for a baller breakfast buffet at Cascades, to the highway robbery $18 spaghetti & meatballs. The rooms with views are spectacular, while the rooms without often face an awkward side road. Staff is kind and competent. Easy ski-in, ski-out access. Plenty to do on-site, with tons of activities.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and clean big rooms. The restaurant on premises has great food. Ski lift available on premises. Shuttles every half hour to the Village at Squaw. Overall great experience.

Beautiful resort. Very nice pool, heated. Nice bike trails. Need to have rental bikes for children 5 and under. Would be nice if suites have a microwave. Great shuttle and service to Squaw Valley ski resort.

The beds were surprisingly comfy. The room was clean, cozy and well maintained. The atmosphere was charming and festive with lit trees, piano player in the lobby, gigantic gingerbread house displays and an ice skating rink. The pool is heated to 82 amd was being used by other patrons though I did not use it personally. Sweet Potatoes Deli serves Starbucks coffee and there are retail shops located at the resort. One downer is that valet parking was 35 a day with a substantial portion of the lot taken up by valet. We were also given a warning notice (on our car) because we were in a tow away zone. There were no markings on the ground nor signs stating we were in a tow away zone. I think better signage would be helpful, especially during the winter months. An additional plus during the ski season is there is literally a lift right outside that can take you up the mountain and you can ski down into the Squaw Valley Village on the other side. Also they note which lifts are closed in the lobby and there are free shuttles into the Village at least every half hour.

Great amenities located inside the resort. Nicely up-kept but dated rooms. Has a ski lift on resort property and a large pool for the summers. This hotel is still not walking distance to the Olympic village and Squaw valley resort

We booked a Deluxe Queen room with forest view. Here s a comparison of the website picture vs reality. I complained with the Director of Front Office but he said that he could not move us to another room. He did not offer any apologies or any ways to compensate.

Also, be prepared to pay an extra $30 resort fee per day for the use of hotel amenities . Basically you pay extra fees for no additional services.

Poor experience. We won t return to this hotel.

We were visiting after new years and had very noisy neighbors. Inclement weather shut down the majority of squaw's resort and there was not much to do around the lodge. Staff was friendly overall, but we felt a little bit of cabin fever.

They are not able to manage international Voucher, even with all the paper done and talk to the office ahead of time... People tells you that everything is okay up to your check out!!!! They even make you think that they will take care of it in the following days, but no. Nothing was done properly!!! It's very bad...

Really enjoyed our stay here. The suite felt a little small, but from a functional perspective, our suite offered everything we needed and everything was in excellent condition. I like the separation from the more commercial area of the village, but also like how close it is. While I preferred to walk to the village, it is a short drive and there is convenient shuttle service as well.

When you arrive the service is excellent. The shower and tub combination was tiny and didn't drain properly .... yuck.
I Had a facial at the Spa and loved it.
We were there for a company event that we attended every year and looked forward to the location how ever the food they served the group was marginal. I would give them 2 Stars. The menu included hot dogs and at the bar in the evening they tried to serve over 300 people with only one bartender. The coffee service didn't have cream half the time.
We ate at the pub and enjoyed the food but the service was slow.
I would recommend this place for a family weekend but not for a company retreat.

The resort is absolutely breathtaking. The air is crisp and clean, and it was warm (currently April). It wasn't crowded at this time and the spa was exquisite. Highly recommend the body treatments there and to enjoy the resort even if you don't. There are shops in the resort and a restaurant, but I would be selective with what you order, food wise. Delicious chocolate cupcakes though.

Very pretty resort. Great dining options and right next to the slopes. The jacuzzis are filled with rambunctious kids though, dedicating one of the three jacuzzis to 21 and over would be great.
