Hotel is very nice and clean as well as the rooms. Beds are not too comfortable. Goose down pillows are horrible. Rooms are a bit on the small side and don't have a table. Kitchenette is a nice feature. Wi-Fi is not free
Food at event was decent for banquet style, the cheesecake was nice
Nice place. Not a lot to do when there are no golf tournaments. Expected the pool to be nicer. Room and lobby were great
Did not receive any of the requests I made for my room, on their website. Keep that in mind.
Great place to stay, for golf, and family activities. They have great service and a great view. Plus, right next to Bill Murray's famous Caddy Shack restaurant.
Very nice place. The food, however, was mediocre and overpriced.
We loved our stay here. Far away from all the hustle and bustle of Jacksonville and st. Augustine. We were surprised to find out they have a free tram to St Augustine. Just saved us a lot of money. It was very clean and enjoyable stay
I was at an event here and this place was pretty amazing. I want to go back and just hang out for the day there looks like a lot to do here. If I go back and look more in depth will update this review with pictures and video!
It s crazy how many bad reviews I ve read. I was really nervous coming here, but I have to say since the moment my husband and I checked in we have been treated very well. Room is beautiful and very clean, the entire staff has been so helpful and kind and as I write this review sitting on the balcony (yes we re still here) my husband and I are enjoying ourselves here. Only reason why I gave 4 stars instead of five is because I m sitting on the balcony and it s just very noisy from i95 and loud air conditioning from the convention center. (I m assuming sound is front the ac units. It may not be, but it s a loud generating sound coming from that direction)
Elegant Property. Accommodating staff. Convenient location. Wonderful amenities.
The hotel is very good. The rooms are clean and luxurious. The facilities are spacious and very nice. The only negative is that they charge extra for using WiFi which I find ridiculous.
Clean rooms, has A LOT of conferences, that made it VERY busy and less family enjoyable.
The village is charming and well taken care of, and plus, it's only a little while outside the Old City. I'd definitely recommend!
Great place right in the heart of everything golf. Beautiful hotel.
Food was below average. Service was decent but very slow.
Lovely place to rent out a room and have a party! So much fun!
We were guests at a wedding held here. The hotel is lovely, the food was good, and the service was solid.
Really enjoyed our stay here! Staff was very friendly. Clean rooms. We took advantage of the hot tub, the restaurant and billiards room. Without a fee, the shuttle took us to Old City for a night. Shuttle returns at 9pm at the latest. Was a little too early for our group. But we were easily able to request an Uber
Had a great two day stay. Pool and patio area is very nice. Had an outdoor pingpong table under a lighted gazebo. They also had large jenga close by. Hot tub is a little weird in that there aren't really jets but large air bubble makers. Jets would be nice and a larger hot tub in general. Rooms were nice. Smart TVs, charging station, mini fridge, sink outside the bathroom, but no microwave. Just a good time in general.
Absolutely beautiful property!I highly recommend this resort.Do not miss the breakfast buffet 10/10!
Absolutely beautiful and great service! We have stayed here every time we are in St. Augustine.
The hotel was very nice and clean. The breakfast buffet was fantastic!
Bell hop never showed up when I called for one... wet bar sink did not work
Attended a banquet food was great place was clean and cost for banquet was fair
Came here for a meeting. The meeting space was adequate and as expected. Service was helpful.
I was there for a family wedding. The atmosphere was great, the food was great, the decor was great.
Had to move to another room because the bedding was not clean also the internet was week and the other room the a/c was not cool enough let's say that the wife was not happy with my anniversary arrangement.
The customer service has been excellent so far. I do have to say though they are slow on cleaning rooms though. As an example I returned to my room at 5pm and it still had not been serviced.
Aside from that, the location is wonderful, the rooms are nice, and the design of the hotel is pretty interesting.
Staff is outstanding, area is beautiful, could use some more development in the shopping areas across the lake from the hall of fame. If you are here for an event or just love golf it is a must see.
Awesome place, and the world of golf is some great. The HoF museum took us about an hour and a half, and we loved the entire thing. Some amazing history in the!
Gym was great! Didn't get to use pool and Jacuzzi due to rainy weather. Ordered room service, they brought me the wrong dish. Called to have it fixed it took forever because they forgot to bring the new one up to me and it still wasn't right. And the food didn't even taste good . Ordered food a different day it took forever (more than the 30min frame they have me) because they forgot what I ordered. Other than that it's a beautiful hotel and beautiful walking areas surrounding it.
Another great place. Gymnastics competition there too.
Great meeting place, right off I-95, exit 323. Great restaurant, excellent food, outstanding wait staff. Never stayed in the hotel. Valet service. World golf hall of fame and IMAX theater within walking distance, several golf courses, golf instruction, all on the adjacent grounds.
Rooms were nice, location was easily accessible, service was fine. Parking was a bit rough and they seemed a bit overwhelmed. (Granted, it WAS 4th of July) All in all, a pleasant experience though.
Great clean hotel with great service from employees!
Beautiful place, had a good time with Mr. And Mrs. Holt. Thank you
At first arrival on Tuesday night (the 4th) we were pleasantly surprised by the appearance and friendliness of the check in. We stayed on the 6th floor, and expected the next 3 days to be very comfortable. The room was great with the smart TV, nice spacious bathroom, mini fridge, coffee maker and pleasant view. We slept late and didn t leave the room until about 1:30 the next afternoon with the do not disturb sign on the door until we left. The room service was next door and watched us leave. We returned about 5pm and found the room untouched. No room service. Simple mistake so I stopped by the desk and explained we just wanted fresh towels and everything would be great. Left the room at 5:45 to go to dinner and hit the outlet mall. Returned at 9:30pm to find that nothing had been done to the room and no fresh towels. Went down to front desk and asked could I just have some towels please. She seemed surprised that housekeeping had not taken care of it and sent someone up about 10 minutes later. The next day was much better but on the night of the 6th there was some sort of party in the conference wing. Didn t seem to bother us until the party closed down and the guest who were staying went to the bar in the atrium where they progressively got louder and louder. The atrium carried sound right to the rooms. We felt that it wasn t worth reporting since we weren t trying to sleep yet and it was probably a holiday party. The party began to migrate to different floors and also to the party spot of our next door neighbors. We heard doors slamming, screaming in the atrium off the balcony and general loud behavior until 2:30AM. This is when someone from hotel staff finally arrived to quiet the disturbance. In the hotels defense we didn t call down but it was so loud and obnoxious we thought for sure that a place of this caliber would take care of it on their own. We slept late and used late check out finally leaving on 7th when 1 hour before leaving the room all the water was shut off in the hotel. As timing would have it my wife was using the toilet at this time. When we checked out the lady working the desk asked what we needed. When I said to check out she said leave your room number and I ll take care of it. No offer of how was your stay, do you need a receipt, or any inquiry . So my wife and I offered these above concerns and all she said was sorry, you should have called down
Thought we found a new Saint Augustine area sanctuary but might be still looking!
Inattentive staff, Noisy hotel, broken pool drain on pool ledge, filthy outside tables, disgusting pool bathroom, minimal poolside chairs, and non-family friendly atmosphere. Will not recommend!
The temperature was like 60 degrees for the conference - quite a bit too cold.
Very big space for the con was I visiting for. Wished they put a sign stating that the true entrance was around the corner.
Love the location of this Renaissance. My family loved taking long walks around the world golf village circle. Everything you need is located close by.
I am staying there right now and I can tell you they do not like to change your bed linen. They do a horrible job of cleaning the room. Come back and fine more trash and hair on the floor and bathroom counter then you left. The check in is great and after that nothing. The parking is horrible. Especially for handicap I was very very disappointed. The reason there rating is high cause of the golf course events. No microwave in the room. All I can say is very disappointed.
Was here for the 4th of July fireworks (on the 3rd). Fireworks by Santore put on an amazing show! Great venue to host such an event
It was an interesting experience overall the ambience was incredible and it made me feel self important enough to write a review.
Towels could be more plush!!! Everything else was perfect. I could really live here.
Very clean. One of the most comfy beds I've ever slept on!
Nice scenery, some golf activity but most shops are closed.
Beautiful hotel, can get a bit loud though during golf tournaments
I arrived on the afternoon Thursday, February 13th - my 3 night prepaid reservation was not on the books... The reception staff and manager fumbled around in the reservation system for 15 minutes or so and Sim-Sim-Sala-Bim!! It presented itself! Got to my room to take a quick shower before meeting family for dinner - but first I had to rinse other peoples hair out of the bathtub haha . After I was fresh-n-clean I unfolded my shower towel and POOF a big clump of hair landed in the shower (pic provided). Other than that, the stay was uneventful. Just memorable for all the wrong reasons. Looks like they have ongoing booking and cleaning challenges (based on other reviews).
Very convenient for the Golf Hall of Fame and St Augustine
The hotel is so beautiful. The check in was a little sketchy but we were so well compensated. Our agent at the front desk, Nikki, upgraded our room, to a mini suite. When we got back to our room later that evening, there was a complimentary snack left for us in the refrigerator. Our waiter, Ringo, went over and above with his service. The rooms were also tastefully done, with a really comfortable king bed, great pillows, flat screen TV, beautiful bathroom, and a terrace overlooking the pool. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Awesome place to stay. No need to leave the resort. Close to dining and golf.
We were there for a bridal event held at the Renaissance conference
