Nice hotel. Conference rooms are not too spread out but not the easiest I have been to. Some rooms are upstairs and some are on the other side of the courtyard. Coworkers said rooms were nice. Food was pretty good as well.

Everyone at this property was absolutely a pleasur...

Everyone at this property was absolutely a pleasure to interact with. From Alexis (and another woman) at the front desk to Tamar in the restaurant, to the restaurant manager, to the housekeepers on the 2nd floor, to the bartender in the bar during am hours. I was here on an emergency trip to visit my grandma while she was in hospice and the staff here helped ease some of that gloom. Thank you for the follow ups and the constant smiles. Thank you all for your hospitality!!

Excellent Experience. We stayed just one night because my husband was there for a conference and the kids and I came along. My boys loved the warm indoor salt water pool, room service and the 24-hour snack room. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable and late check-out was awesome. Highly recommend.

Stayed here several times over the last 2 years, keeps getting worse and worse. First we were switched from our suite to another room due to plumbing issues. Then plugged in a phone charger into an outlet in the room and the charger went up in sparks, melting the entire USB cable. Finally the air quality in the room was horrible. Overly stuffy, could not get the room temperature below 72 degrees. Add in the strange smells throughout the hotel, my wife was made nauseous and dealt with bouts of vomiting during our stay.

I needed a mommy getaway. So I booked a stay here the day before Christmas Eve. The hotel was virtually empty and I could really see no other staff working other than who was at the front desk. The first room that I got checked into, had hair and human DNA all over the bathroom and shower. It was beyond gross. I tried to call the front desk, but no one answered. So I walked down to the and told the woman and showed her pictures of what the bathroom looked like. She then tried to find me another room and offered me an upgrade to one of their studios. She said, "These rooms barely get booked, but I hope it's clean for you." HOPE.. HOPE???.. So then I go up to this upgraded room, and from the looks of it it's much nicer than the standard room. However, again I went to go draw myself a bath and there was human DNA AND hair all over the tub. I don't know what's so hard about properly cleaning a shower stall and tub, however, this hotel seems to have trouble with keeping things actually clean. Therefore I decided to forego a soak. I was surprised because the reviews are really high, but this is just unacceptable and unsanitary.

Rooms were comfortable and clean and the pool was terrific. The only critique that I really have is that the decor in the lobby and hallways was a bit loud. I could describe it using descriptive film references but I won't. You could hide a lot of stuff on those carpets.

Very clean! I had a problem with the tv in the room they came very quick to help me. The man was nice and respectful told me exactly what the problem was. Even the pool was nice and clean.

Went to an event here and it's a large beautiful space, but if you don't do open bar prepare to pay $6-$15 dollars on not so great drinks. Definitely pregame or bring a bottle. Staff will slowly being food out and then mad dash to take your plates away. Like ask you if you're done several times as if it was the busiest restaurant ever. Potential to be a great venue, but currently is not.

Overall my experience was good. I had no issues other than a missing bed in my room. Thankfully it was rectified when I brought it up. The room was clean and orderly when I was checked in. The food was very good and satisfied me. I have no real major complaints about my experience

Positive Point: The rooms are spacious, the servic...

Positive Point: The rooms are spacious, the services and the staff are pleasant and professional at the same time, complete (swimming pool, gym, restaurent etc ...).

Negative Point: A bit old, room "outdated", not so good hygiene and rooms leave a desired.

In Conclusion: This hotel is far from bad, it just needs to be renovated and cleaned regularly everywhere. This hotel is sincerely meant for the people to work, that they come, sleep and share after. That's why I give a 3.5 / 5.

Loved the hotel! I booked 2 rooms with 2 queen beds but they only had one available but were so apologetic and tried to help with another solution. The service was amazing and the staff was really friendly.

OVERPRICED! Was there for a family reunion on Octo...

OVERPRICED! Was there for a family reunion on October 6-8. Had a banquet on October 7. Paid $55 to wait 1 hour and half for food. The salad that was prepared was spinach and 3 grapes! That is not a salad. The dressing that was served was only 1 type of dressing and it was very thin at that. The selection of meats were fish, beef, and chicken. A vegan entree was also available My cousin had wanted a vegan entree. The menu stated that the vegan entree consisted of eggplant parm and 2 vegetables. Her plate was brought out and it didn't have anything on there that was listed on the menu. Our rolls were cold and hard. We requested that we have fresh rolls. The server brought out "new" rolls but they were cold and tasted just as hard as the rolls that were already on our table. The portions that were served were made for a child's plate. The tea was unsweetened. The water was lukewarm. They ran out of desserts. I didn't even get a dessert and when I ask my server for one, he told me that they had ran out. Family members had asked for seconds. Okay, how do you give seconds out and some haven't even had their first? Why do you run out of food? This is a catered event; you should never run out of food. There should always be a surplus of everything! Brought this matter to the attention of the manager on duty on my departure day. Manager didn't care to fix the situation or offer a solution. Hotel rooms don't include refrigerators nor microwaves. Those items have to be requested and they are based on availability. The hotel that particular weekend had many functions going on, so they were all taken when I requested the items. How sway. So I'm being charged all of this money for what? I've been to way cheaper hotels and received way better service than what I received here and they included fridges and microwaves in them. That should automatically come in any room. This is the first time that I've been at a hotel that those amenities weren't included in the room. The only good thing about this hotel was that it is in a great location. It is near the mall and some restaurants. The indoor heated pool wasn't warm on that Friday. I relayed that to the front desk. They told maint. Maint came to look at it and took a temp, but nothing changed after that. I waited 30 minutes after it was "checked", but the temp remained the same, so I left. I was really looking forward to relaxing in the pool because I had a drive there and a long week and I wanted to relax. Was disappointed.

I went there for an event that was a fashion show with dinner. The dinner was horrible. The chicken was dry and they gave you very little sauce to moisten it. The coffee was Luke warm. My friend was given a cup that had someone else's lipstick on it. The waitress didn't know how to serve. She reached across in front of your plate. The room was too cold. I didn't have a pleasant outing. I gave 2 stars because the cheesecake was good.

Nice lobby. Needs renovation. Hallways need to be cleaned to much towels and trash. I give this 5stars because of the front desk. Personality and delivering was the key and the quickness and concern was there. I had the please to meet both managers Diana and Ryan. Even though we were part of a group tour they showed me absolute love as if I was a frequent person who stays: Diana thanks for the laughs and Ryan thank you for personally taking care of my requests. You guys are phenomenal.

We were going to stay at a different hotel, but their pool was out of service, so we were able to book this one and come here instead! From the phone call to checking in, to the room, the pool and fitness center, the Renaissance is fantastic. We will definitely stay here again next time we're in Jersey.

I came here for a social event for the first time ...

I came here for a social event for the first time recently so I can not speak for the room service or what they charge per night/any other amenities but the hotel does look much nicer on the inside than you would think. They offer a variety of eat in cuisines such as Italian or Chinese.

Update from my December 2019 visit, stayed Dec 25 and 26.

This was my first stay after the place rebranded itself to a Delta from the old Renaissance...Booked a Club Room for 2 nights including Christmas night. The club room is supposed to include a ton of amenities and I paid the higher price to make our stay memorable.

Arrived around 8 PM, checked in and asked for the directions for the lounge only to be told that the lounge is closed for the holidays... ridiculous, why was it offered in the first place? And why was I charged extra? I was given tokens for breakfast at the hotel restaurant which was obviously not the same.

The room was comfortable, the shower still very good but Marriott owes me a refund for the bait and switch and the missing services.

Also, hope they do something about adding a proper exhaust in the bathroom...the steam from the shower has nowhere to go and condenses on the ceiling and then drips all over the bathroom...see pic.

Wonderful staff here that does their utmost to ensure a perfect stay. Although the hotel is currently under renovation, the exceptional service from the staff made it a perfect stay. I was welcomed and appreciated as a Marriott Bonvoy elite member. The breakfast was nice with made to order omelets. Thanks to the wonderful team for the nice stay.

BUYER BEWARE of the bait and switch tactics of thi...

BUYER BEWARE of the bait and switch tactics of this hotel.

I am very upset with the bait and switch tactics that were used in both of our events that were held in 2017 and 2019 at the Woodbridge Renaissance property. In 2017 Our organization was verbally promised the big ballroom for our Charity Ball. Being that the actual name of the ballroom wasn't specified in the contract we were placed in the much smaller ballroom and it was very crowded and uncomfortable. This created a lack of trust and we decided to cancel our contract for our Charity Balls in 2018 and 2019. Although outside uninsured food and beverage isn't allowed at events at Marriott properties, we were verbally promised that we can bring in our own food and beverage. The sales staff knew about this because they all were involved in the negotiations. We made sure it was stated in the contract, however it didn't say "uninsured." This agreement was further evidenced at our 2018 Charity Ball when were allowed to bring in our own food and beverage as long as we hired a Marriott attendant to oversee the room.We fast fast forward to 2019 when we were informed 3 weeks before the ball that outside food and beverage would not be allowed. It is being blamed on new management. This is AFTER we had paid the money for the outside food and beverage. The hotel wanted us to buy the food from them instead which was far too expensive.

At this point it became an integrity and character issue. As a long term Marriott client (Platinum Elite) that has given countless balls and conferences at several different Marriott brands, I expected a lot more from a Marriott property. I have never been the victim of a bait and switch tactic with any Marriott property. Their core values state:

"Our core values make us who we are. As we change and grow, the beliefs that are most important to us stay the same--putting people first, pursuing excellence, embracing change, acting with integrity and serving our world."

The hotel's actions in 2017 and 2019 lack the integrity portion of their mission statement.
