My room.was "dingy"...not quite dirty but not real...

My room.was "dingy"...not quite dirty but not really clean.Damp and spotty...The bathroom sink dripped constantly and was missing the stopper to catch the water.
The Bed was extremely lumpy and upon entering the room for the first time we noticed a definite cigar smoke smell in the air.
My family who had a room a few doors down had a much nicer room at the exact same rate...So consistency is Not something they strive for here.
Our coffee set up.was lacking creamers and tea and very disappointed that the restaurant was Only opened for breakfast.

Disappointed and upset,
I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights recently...After checking out, I remembered I left my ipad on the bed in my room...
The day after I called the hotel to let them know they said it was not there... I called a number of more times over for 4 days. I felt that they didnt put any interest in returning my iPad. Customer service zero!

The rooms are spacious. Probably one of the biggest rooms I've stayed in that wasn't a suite. 2 queen beds and plenty of space for a desk and dresser. Bathroom is very nice although there was a little grout missing around the door jam. The room service was great even though they screwed up my order they made it right. The food was very good and the chocolate cake was excellent.

The transformation of the hotel is slow, but progressing. The staff is tremendous. The music in the lobby/ bar/ outside area is terrible. What are you trying to run a rave or club? Even the staff is over it. Get something classy playing or get someone classy who knows the difference. I'm a guest here as I type. Brittney, Elyse, and Maureen are great w at what they do!

I was there Saturday for a Masonic event and the server dropped the plate on the counter. He picked it up with his bare hands and put the food back on the plate, wiped the edges with a dirty cloth and served the food to a guest. The nastiest stuff I ever saw done in a public setting. I asked him directly when he got back, "did I just see you put that food back on the plate with your bare hands?" He said yes, yes you did! I can't believe It! I felt bad all night cause I didn't see who he took the plate to. Never again, will I entertain this slumtel!

What a disappointment. We had our wedding reception at this hotel when it was the Sheraton. Our room was bare bones. Certainly not Marriott quality by far. We were given down comforters and pillows. When asked about a hypoallergenic solution the staff provided us with mediocre polyester blankets. The thermostat was also a mystery and not consistent. Throughout our stay we worked to not freeze. It was either to hot or to cold. There was only ONE roll of toilet paper, which was not a new roll when we arrived. By the 5th morning, we were completely out. Knowing how long it took to get the blankets, we didn t even bother with calling for more toilet paper. We will never utilize this hotel again. Finally a family with young children was placed on the highway side of the hotel with drag races happening nightly. This was more like something we had to endure rather than a vacation.

If there was a chance to put a negative rating, I think this hotel would deserve just that.
I was given a room and 2 days into that room the ceiling in the living room started to leak. Only upon my ask did they offer me a room change option.
After moving to the new room, the ceiling in that bathroom started to leak and it was pouring in the bathroom from the lights, the shower, the walls. this was a DISGUSTING and startling experience. I was so disturbed by this that I decided to vacate the room that minute.
All this happened when I was on a business trip. Inspite of me being a Platinum Elite member and being eligible for an upgrade, they gave me the room I had booked. Also while booking they tell you to check in at the hotel for an upgrade, which mind you is a big scam. I was eligible for a welcome gift which they clearly forgot. It is not about the gift, but it's the presence of mind of the staff.

Highly highly disappointing experience by a Marriott owned property.

The seminar I attended was held there. The location is off of Route 1 which is well traveled but very busy. The rooms that held the seminars were clean, the staff courteous & food provided good.

Got there to find out they canceled my reservation...

Got there to find out they canceled my reservation, didn t call to notify about payment. Then said i reserved through a third party but i reserved through MARRIOT itself! They gave my room away, left me stranded whilst all hotels were sold out. Room was booked for a week and a half! Terrible Service !!

The hotel staff is very professional, attentive and friendly. Upon arrival I was greeted as an Elite member and the associate quickly provided me with room keys after confirming my ID. Prior to arriving I used mobile check-in, which made the check in process a breeze. The hotel is very nice and clean, the room was very well done with lots of room; very modern. The location is in the vicinity of plenty of restaurants and shopping. During my visit we had breakfast the following morning at Olio, the buffet was excellent, they had hot and cold selections and an omlette station. For the price it was well worth it! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed at this Hotel the week of October 4th throw the 7th 2018. It was a great experience! The only thing was that they were Remoldoling the Front Desk Entrance so we couldn t see much of the front entrance but other than that we Loved everything !! The bed, (especially the Pillows and Comforter) the shower, Very clean rooms, Room Service was ok (could be better) missed a few items on my morning breakfast order. The price is right on point! Front desk crew was very nice especially the young Spanish speaking girl (can t remember her name) We will be staying here when we come bk to NJ-NY in the near future!! Thanks!!

Conveniently located 30 mins from Newark airport (non rush hour traffic). Great facilities for business meetings, large or small. Clean accommodations with a friendly, helpful staff. Would recommend this to anyone planning a conference in the New York area, who doesn't want the traffic and hassle of midtown.

With a bit more staff training this hotel has the potential to earn "4 stars". Aesthetically pleasing upon arrival, but highly disappointing during our stay considering the fairly high price point. Rooms are fairly small, bathrooms need maintenance and upgrading. Lack of refrigerator microwave, and iron highly inconvenient. Restaurant also appealing to the eye, but the staff is not trained on proper sanitation of the area. Ate breakfast twice with my family and witnessed customers being seated at tables that had just been emptied. Tables wiped with dry clothes (same face towels in guest bathrooms), no sanitizing liquid used. Then the same guy who just touched every "Unsanitized" item, including the utensils on the table, tucks the towel in his back pocket, comes to take your order, then enters the kitchen and brings out your food. Milk for coffee left in open containers on each table throughout the morning. High potential for cross-contamination. All this happening in plain view leads me to worry about the sanitary conditions and treatment of the guest rooms. Not something I want to be worried about, especially while traveling.

I don t know who s putting the reviews on here but our stay wasn t great. I originally booked two nights and thank goodness I moved hotels. Rooms are outdated and smell musty. Upon check in no rooms were ready.any guests were waiting in the lobby. They said we will call you after waiting about 45 minutes I then went back up to check the status and the girl at the front said I do have a room ready when a someone going to call me???? What if I didn t go up to check? All the rush for rooms made me worry on the quality of clean and changing sheets The pool was looked super dirty. We all know we hear articles on dirty pools and quality of ph levels in a public pool. This is your example of why not to swim in public pools. (Insert vomit emoji!) overall wasn t happy and will choose not to stay here again. We come to New Jersey every year to visit family ... go to the Hampton inn! Better rooms, breakfast a cleaner pool and better service.

Location is nice. Can be easily found in traffic. Elegant, classy. The outdoor dining for the restaurant is excellent and breath taking. The biggest mistake is they don't have refrigerator or microwave even for a premium room. Friendly staff and quick service. And there's lots of fast food centered nearby too. (Buffalo wild wings, KFC, Kona grill)

Seemed to be a nice hotel, however there was no hot water for roughly two days. Staff is trying to be attentive, but have failed miserably at communication regarding the outage or if/when it will be fixed. Tried to call the front desk twice at different times, but got no answer. As a Platinum member I would have hoped to be kept informed.

Best hotel around these parts. Didn't like the construction noise at 11am but guess I should've been up by then. Very clean rooms, lobby and facilities. More than enough free parking. Right next to a huge mall and plenty of restaurants. Super close to Metropark Train Station and easily accessible from several highways. Great alternative to staying in NYC and very easy to get to NYC from here. Highly recommended to business travelers and tourists. Don't waste your money staying in NYC and spend your money on other things than a cramped NYC hotel room.

Called the 'operator' and requested for hot water....

Called the 'operator' and requested for hot water. After waiting for 1 1/2 hours and on our 3rd call, was told to obtain the hot water from the room's coffee maker.
After my complaint that they made us waited for almost 2 hours, I was told to wait for another 15min before they can bring the hot water to us.
Ultimately, no hot water was delivered to our room!

Hotel staff at the front desk is spectacular! Want to give a shout out to Alexis she is fantastic. Great at following up and making sure my stay was 100% perfect. Thank you all I enjoyed my weekend and I will definitely come back everyone should be like Alexis.

Nice enough hotel. Only issue is you can hear the loud EDM (yes that's right, electronic dance music) from the second floor window. I have no idea why the hotel plays EDM music loudly at 4am nor will I ever know.

Decent hotel, with friendly staff. Has a pool that goes from inside to out. Small but useable gym, from memory has about 6 running machines, two or three cross trainers and a few bikes . There are also a variety of machines and enough free weights for a good workout. Bar and restaurant food is tasty, a varied selection to suit most tastes.

I was there for a convention. Although the food was sub-par, and the waiter hit me in the head with his tray, a very nice gentleman at the front desk let me borrow and charger for my phone and told me to keep it. I didn't stay here overnight.

Helpful and friendly staff although it seems a bit disorganized. I couldn't check into my room until almost 5 and I wasn't the only one with such troubles. One woman in line couldn't get a room because they didn't have one in spite of her reservation and advanced payment. But the facilities are nice and they gave me a room with 2 beds instead of the initially reserved single bed (I'm staying with a friend).

The staff was very friendly at check-in. There appears to be construction occurring in the lobby and a number of the rooms. Room provided was clean and tidy upon arrival but perhaps needs an update - the desk chair had holes in it's back and the desk seemed a little worn.

This weekend spend one of the best experiences in the Woodbridge Renaissance hotel with good customer service and many amenities. It is 30 minutes from NYC and the transportation was very easy and comfortable. The service is fantastic and everything is very friendly.

I visited the Renaissance Woodbridge Hotel for a CLE seminar. The hotel seemed nice and the room the seminar was held in was... Also nice. The faucets for the bathroom sinks, however, refused to stay on. This made hand washing kind of difficult.
