Great trade show location, luxurious and opulent surroundings with generally good service. It is worth the visit to watch the falconers and their birds. On the other hand, when the service is bad, it is really quite sincerely bad. Excellent hotel, but don't take anything for granted.

The Phoenician is the best resort in Arizona and beyond. I am continually amazed by the quality and attention to detail throughout the resort. The new amenities such as the spa continue to enhance the experience overall.

Beautiful resort with some awesome amenities. Some of the best food and service we have had at any of the high end resorts in Phoenix. Rooms are nice but a tad outdated. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. It was hard to get ahold of concierge or operator at restaurants, tennis shops, etc. We really liked the gym, game room, tennis and pickle ball courts, the shopping and market all within the resort. Easily the most family friendly resort we have been to.

Went there last evening, 4/7/17 with my daughter. Visiting her at college. Flew in from PA. Had a nice dinner at their steakhouse. Had rental car stowed via valet. On the way out gave gentleman a dollar tip and he scoffed at it and showed it to his friends as I got in my car and drove away.
I am a consistent 20 % tipper for meals and the like. I am an Oral Surgeon and routinely give free care to people who cannot afford my care. So I don't feel I am a cheap skate. It took approximately 30 seconds to retrieve my car, so I'm not sure what tip he expected.
Let's just say in my business and especially the hotel and restaurant business your team/staff are your most important asset for good business. The Phoenician has failed at this point.
I will never return again.

Nice hotel. The interior decoration is a little aging. The pools, the cactus garden, the tennis courts and the golf course are magnificent. At the foot of the Camelback Montaigne the hotel allows you to climb to the summit for a magnificent view of Phoenix and Scottdale

Our religious organization(PCAF)was here July 20-26 I truly enjoyed the staff, Amanda made sure that I had everything I needed, she was friendly, efficient and thoughtful. Ryan made my check in so smooth!! The housekeeping staff(Sarah) attended to my every need. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Seems shiny on the outside. Not fine tuned inside!! Old towels, menu item for in room dining missing one of four simple items. Marriott here and Atlanta are lacking real details for the price you pay!!

We have been to afternoon tea a number of times and both Wanda and Natalie were very helpful especially with a member of our party who uses a walker. However, getting to the lobby was a nightmare there was no one at the booth where we entered (East entrance). Signs were outdated so we had great difficulty finding where we needed to go. Also once inside could not find a staff to direct us to elevators to the lobby level. Finally found someone to direct us to the two separate elevators to lobby level. As the resort is ungoing construction for a long time, personnel and signage should be a priority for your customers.

Was here for an expo and what a beautiful resort. Staff really makes you feel like your royalty and the place sure resembles it. Pricey of course but its worth it from time to time. I would love to return one day.

Visited for 2 nights for a conference. The hotel itself is nothing amazing to look at, but the rooms themselves are very generous - very large and huge bathrooms. Shower amazing.

Bar staff good, but as you'd expect, hotel prices of $8-10 for a beer. Conference catering very average during the day, but stepped up massively for an evening function - steaks, mac n cheese, good desserts.

I've no idea what the room rates are, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are all kinds of resort fees thrown in. WiFi would have been $25 for 2 days - thankfully included in my room rate. T-Mobile coverage in the room was strong.

We have stayed here multiple times for business and it always exceeds our expectations. The property is gorgeous and the rooms have just been renovated. They are large and accommodating and very well appropriated. The staff is very helpful and the meeting rooms are great for our company. We will continue to come back here.

Overall facility was good but not great. Amenities show why they received 5 stars but service and food (including restaurants) were just okay for 5 diamonds. Expected higher caliber of customer service and food quality for 5 diamonds. Experienced better and more consistency at a Four Seasons. Secada stowaway in our room kept me up nightly. Apparently mine was not the worse, another guest said his Casita suite was filled with mosquitoes since it s located near a pond. And wasn t even extended a late checkout. Smh

Very nice, luxury resort near Camelback Mountain in Scottsdale. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. The lobby bar has a fun atmosphere and great cocktails. The restaurant was very nice and had great food. The pool area was spacious. Would recommend staying here on your next vacation to Scottsdale. The golf course was reduced from 27 to 18 holes and is in excellent shape. Worth the price of green fees.

Stayed at hotels all over the world and have to say this was the best experience ever. Stayed at the Canyon Suites on this property and the staff was attentive and very responsive. Addressed us by name and provide anything we need within minutes. The view of Camelback Mountain was amazing! Plan to make this an annual stay based on this experience.

I was here to take photos for my friends wedding! Everyone was very nice. The bartender even went and got us all water bottles so it was easier for us to hold and get around. Very nice for quick come and go guests!
