Me and my Wife had a Lovely weekend there. The Room we had was Fantastic, had everything we Needed. The Staff were Very Friendly and Approachable, Fantastic Service. They have a Spa, Pool and Gym there which was great for us. The Food is Also Amazing. Also they have a great Car Park off the Main Road.

Going to give it 5 even though my coffee at breakfast was cold and there was no bacon out for the 10 minutes i was there, i give it 5 as I'm sure the staff would have rectified issues if i asked which is didn't, lovely hotel, excellent fitness centre, food good, all good to me

Called in on a Saturday evening when a number of Christmas functions going on.

Bar staff were under pressure and either new or poorly trained.

Hotel seem to have a number of young serving staff who also dis not appear well trained.

Overall ok but as a school report would say, could do better

It is a nice hotel but even though it is pricey there is no air condition in the room so it is not realy great in a warm day unless you plan to sleep in the pool.

Good leisure facilities and friendly staff, unfortunately the food is mediocre and I think the microwave is overused when preparing food. It's a shame, because besides the food, everything else is absolutely fine and the staff put in a lot of effort to make your stay enjoyable. So hopefully the issues with the standard of the food is addressed .

Nice hotel just out side of Newbury.
Food on a restricted menu but still nice.
Breakfast is served to you but you can still have as much or as little as you like.

Staff friendly rooms very good but at the moment don't expect you room to be cleaned unless you ask for it to be done.
Altogether a very good couple of nights spent here

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Our room was lovely with a small balcony, the staff were all friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The car park is huge. Cannot fault the hotel.

This was a great value Hotel. Including dinner and breakfast this was a great price. Staff were very friendly and the food was top draw. Spa was spot on as well and the treatments were very good.
Will be back here again.

Overall very pleased with our choice of hotel. It was clean, the staff were pleasant and the breakfast was good. We didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening as we felt it was rarher expensive. The room was clean and tidy although a little on the warm side during the night (no air conditioning). We didn't get a chance to use spa facilities but what saw of them looked good and well used.

A difficult time to give great reviews. Covid seems to take away all pleasure of staying in a hotel. No cleaning of rooms. Bar service..well we waited 30 mins to get served and then we waited to actually get the drink. Food in restaurant was good but very little atmosphere so the next night we didn't bother and bought refreshments from a local supermarket . Most staff not really offering service but there because maybe no option!

Attended a wedding here and the staff were very friendly and happy to help. Very reasonable prices drinks in the bar and the food was fantastic. Would recommend for events.

Excellent service. Clean room. Very good buffet breakfast and reasonably priced dinner.
Good facilities with the spa, pool, steam room and sauna.
No air conditioning in our room but fan supplied. Summer breaks are a bargain.

Delicious cream tea with freshly baked scones. Could not ask for better. But no atmosphere in the hotel. Had to search for staff to serve us.

Well below published level. Room OK but service seemed to be in the middle of a mutiny. Food OK but nothing to shout about. Wouldn't go back.

Very friendly staff, especially in the restaurant. They made our stay extra pleasant. Clean and spacious spa facilities. Decent room but slightly dated. Only gripe is that the hotel doesn't have skysports (although they do have btsport). Thank you.

Nice location, staff attentive. Spa really worth a visit. They should get the jacuzzi sorted out, it was very temperamental.
The evening food was just about acceptable but such a small menu to choose from. Breakfast was good but not enough staff and always running out of food at the hot plate.

Okay for staying. But I would suggest eating elsewhere expensive for what it is, I also had to send food back as the chicken curry I ordered was stone cold underneath. Also very small portions

Arrived at the dining room, no member of staff around, dining room was empty apart from 4 people, had to wait a good 5 m for a member of staff to sit us. We were asked if we wanted a choice of tea and coffee, then the afternoon tea arrived, I have never ever seen such a disgusting array of food, the scones were so small and flat you could hardly see them on the plate, the sandwiches were filled with the cheapest vile ingredients, we had to ask what the heck was inside them, the cakes were cheap and nasty with the most vile artificial cream filling, the sandwiches even came with finger prints on the bread, did not eat anything, complained to a manager got a glass of proseco, he was going to give us his email address but he never, oh and the stand was really wobbly as had 3 of it s plastic Feet missing, stay the hell away from this location I will be contacting the hotel manger . I m only giving 1god damm star so I can post this review

Back Shoulder and Neck massage was Lovely! And getting use of Pool, Sauna and Stem Room made it s very relaxing couple of hours

Hotel needs updating, but overall we had a good experience. Easy access for disabled.

This is not a good hotel. We stayed one night over the bank holiday weekend and it seemed to be just one thing after the other. We arrived fairly early at reception to be told that we could check in any time after 2pm, came back around that time and was told we'd have to wait longer but that they couldn't be more specific. A woman then came running down to reception to notify that she had been given the wrong room and had walked in on something she definitely shouldn't have seen, to which the receptionist's response was to laugh! We couldn't believe it. The hallways and rooms are very dated, tired and dreary. The pool area isn't bad although there definitely aren't enough chairs.There was no shampoo or conditioner in the room, the hairdryer stopped working, and when asked to bring up spares the staff were pretty rude and unapologetic. Went down to breakfast and there were no staff around at all, with many tables free but none had been cleared for us to sit at, so I took a bowl up to the room. The food was edible. When checking out, the couple before us asked if there were any rooms available that night, to which the receptionist's response was pretty rude and dismissive, and definitely not professional. The only good thing about this hotel was the bed, which was really comfy. Other than that, a dire experience. Luckily we had been given a voucher for this stay, if we had paid for it I would have been fuming.

Stayed here last weekend, bearing in mind it was over 30 degrees, there was no air conditioning in the room, the windows barely opened and they had no fans when I asked at reception, it was so unbelievably hot in the room and I got zero sleep, absolutely do not recommend.

The hotel is fine but a bit old and removed from Newbury.

The worst hotel experience I have ever had.

The fire alarm went off at least 10 times while we were there and we had to beg to be moved to a new hotel. The night manager told us that 'his decision' was to not deal with the fire alarm and to leave it until the morning. A complete joke. He didn't understand the risk to us if there was a real fire, also completely didn't care that it was impossible to sleep with an incredibly loud alarm (designed to wake people up) sounding constantly in our room.

Other guests left. Sadly we had had wine so couldn't drive. The best western we were transferred to was much nicer... recommended.

Upon returning to collect the car, on 6 hours sleep, we requested a refund. The response was 'what kind of refund are you expecting from me'. Not an apology and no regard for customer service.

The rooms are spacious but dated. The spa facilities are broken (steam room) or unusable (Jacuzzi was apparently too hot to use). The food is average, although the service at dinner was very good. The best part of the stay.

Faulty Towers - complete with its own Manuel

The hotel is extremely dated and drab. It's like a 1980s wedding venue.

The advertised spa features such as steam room were not available as they were broken. We had to ask the Jacuzzi to be opened and the pool attendant free poured half a bottle of chlorine in whilst we were sat in it. He also advised it was literally boiling so we should stay in less than a minute.

The fire alarm sounded every hour from check in until 0030 when, after a fire brigade visit, we were taxied to a best western.

The night manager Leo was so rude and refused to escalate the fire alarm issues or to call the engineer as he said it was his choice and his decision was made.

Definately not a spa hotel. More the kinda place sparkys would be put up on a job

The rooms are large and spacious and well kept. The decor in mine was perhaps a little dated, but still fine. The Gym. Pool and spa area were clean, with plenty of machines in the gym and probably the best bit of the hotel. I had a few bar meals, which were fine and OK value and the breakfasts were good too.

Very nice and clean hotel. Good covid protocols. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent restaurant currently serving a limited but super menu. Large pool, well equipped gym. Enjoyed our stay, well done everyone. Recommended

Really good size room and comfy bed. Really nice sleep. Complimentary biscuits as well as the usual teas and coffee.
The cooked breakfast wasn't great but I had a great turkey dinner in the evening. The staff in the restaurant was really attentive and friendly

I don't mind the venue, but for large parties the drink is over priced and the service slow.

Nice hotel, great room and lovely staff. If you're having a cooked breakfast, you're better off going early, while it's still fresh.

Dangerous flooring around pool very slippery. Poor bathroom, very noisy room due to outside fans. Poor signage to areas.

Average hotel. Nice big rooms but very hot and a weird smell outside. The spa is not relaxing as it's always full of kids.

Not too bad but not amazing. The girl at the reception was very lovely and very helpful but some of the breakfast staff where very flippant and in too much of a rush to deal with you.

It was my son's wedding, we had a memorable weekend experience. Everything was perfect, and all the guests had a wonderful time. Keep up the good work.

Good rooms, great service. Beer is a bit expensive easy to get to.

The hotel was very nice and the staff were lovely the service however was slow. There were no toilets downstairs to use,you had to go to your room. We were told we had to have breakfast at 7.30. We came down there wasn't anybody but us. 2 couples came in after us but by 8.20 there was only a couple of more tables being used. Felt there was no need for us to come down to breakfast that early. Later on in the morning we were sitting down this was about 10.30 we asked for some teas and coffees and were told this was available in the room but no service until late afternoon. We had booked 3 rooms for 5 people. I didn't want to spend the morning in my room, which we had to vacate at 11am but were told we could sit downstairs. What's the point when you can't even get a coffee! I am sure if this hotel was running normally it would have been a different experience. BTW the food was lovely !

Another great stay at the Regency Park Hotel. Lovely rooms and great staff. At all times staff tried to do their absolute best to cater for our special requests. Had an amazing few days with delicious food and relaxing spa facilities. Will definitely be coming back soon!

Helpful staff inspite of having to work under the covid restrictions. Didnt use the pool but friend said it was good

This is an excellent place to hold an event. It has a number of function rooms, plus meeting rooms in the business suite. The catering is very good, always something for everyone. The team are helpful and cheerful. There is plenty of parking onsite. The value is reasonable as well. The team are very used to catering for large numbers. A good venue.

First things first, if you are using a red letter day experience voucher, do not forget your voucher!! And be prepared to be treated like a middle class citizen if you are using one.

We were initially greeted with a smile until the lady found out we d forgotten our voucher and suddenly we were no longer worthy of smiles, ok so the email confirmation right at the bottom in the small print said don t forget to bring this (we both work full time and have busy lives! We missed this) otherwise we were told nothing about this, even when we called to book and we re asked to give the voucher code reference. Its been left that we take a picture of the voucher and email this to them once home. (Lets see how simple this is ... TBC).





Maybe it s because it s January and everyone is miserable that our experience was so disappointing, but I would certainly not pay out of my own pocket to stay at this hotel. I m also not sure how it s rated 4* but I m no hotel inspector.

Was here for a wedding and the venue did not disappoint. Well run, good food, beautiful surroundings. Two slight notes of criticism - bar staff at our bar were very much overrun (not an issue in the main hotel bar) and the dance floor could've been bigger.

The room is large and spacious. The bathroom is large. My room had a balcony. Breakfast is not bad, but all the food was not salty. There are no salt shakers on the tables, only pepper shakers.

Let me start with a positive - the room was very spacious and light in decor. However, unfortunately there is no air conditioning in the rooms and our room and the whole floor were extremely hot. They do provide fans, but, doesn t really do much. The WiFi didn t work either. We did use the restaurant and bar facilities which were, ok. I would not say this hotel rates at a 4 star, more so a 3 star. They do offer onsite free parking. The friendliness And efficiency of the staff are a bit of a hit and miss. It would do for those not requiring a lengthy stay and who are working with a budget.

The room was spacious and comfortable but very hot. We were going to eat in the restaurant but after being seated in a very soulless room and being given a basic menu of junk food we left and went to the pub. The service at bar in evening was hit and miss with nobody there so we didn't bother again. A nice stay but terrible service downstairs...so go out for things.

Rooms pretty dated but bathrooms appear to be have been fairly recently improved and are very good, seems to be well sound insulated and stay was pretty quiet. Staff were good also but the food ordered at the bar took an age to come. The Regency Suite although huge also needs to be modernised to justify its price. Enjoyed the breakfast.

I'm not sure where they got their 4* rating from, bed was broken, bathroom tiles are mouldy and loose, there is damp rot in the bathroom and the mirror nearly fell on me.
The walldrobe was broken and didn't shut. Nothing to do to pass time, only got one star from me because food is not bad and the pool in nice.

Quite nice and clean but a ridiculously expensive bar
