Overall a lovely little break away, pool and spa were lovely. A little confusion over bedroom requested but management were excellent and gave us a lovely huge room Alittle warm but definitely worth a trip back. All staff are really welcoming.

A bit disappointed with the stay at this hotel as I was expecting a bit more for executive room at the executive price I have payed. The breakfast included with the stay was very good probably best I have had in UK hotel, something I can't say about dinner as the choice was very limited and the portions were small. The room was very hot hence they provide a fan. The grounds are... well full of parking spaces with few garden chairs and tables and no playground for children if you have family stay. The spa was good but need few tweaks. To sum it all up, In the past I have stayed in hotels much cheaper with much better spa facilities and even better breakfast that was traveling round europe.

The rooms were rather warm. Whilst fans were provided, climate control is something I would expect in a 4 star hotel.
Also there was inconsistency between rooms regarding the presence of a trouser press.

Disgraceful. Hotel is tired and in serious need of renovation. Charged pre-auth on arrival then charged full amount again on check-out, phoned hotel to query only to be told that they will take 10 days to refund. I'm certain that if I hadn't phoned they'd have never refunded it.

Overall it s a nice hotel in a nice location. The massage was awesome, one of the best I ve ever had. But the food? Two stars off the total because of the food. Why? It is terrible. Absolutely terrible. And I ve just spent a week in a shed on a goat farm (no lie), and this food made me long for the burned chicken and near-raw potatoes I punished my family with on the open fire. I think perhaps they furloughed their chef and forgot to bring him or her back, because I m pretty sure we just ate a Sainsbury s Essentials ready meal. The menu (see photo) doesn t quite do it justice. The garlic bread was a halved poppyseed bap with garlic powder sprinkled on it, and the tomato pasta sauce I m nearly certain was squeezed out of a tube. Hope their chef comes back off furlough soon, for the safety of future guests taste buds.

Visited for a work meeting, lots of parking, we were moved to a bigger meeting room as there were so many of us and this was dealt with swiftly. Lunch provided was nice. Clean facilities.

If a secluded weekend getaway is what you are after, this is great. The hotel offers a great breakfast and a nice afternoon tea with friendly waiting staff. The health club is great too with a sauna, pool, jacuzzi and steam room.

Looks quite nice from the entrance but interiors, especially the room are a bit 90s and dated. Food was OK for a corporate event, lots of beige though. Christmas party was OK too but couldn't eat the Christmas dinner, was dry and tasteless

Had our Christmas party here making a change from the racecourse. Much better and warmer as you don't have access to outside from the main room so ppl who smoke can't leave the doors open. Food was excellent and the staff couldn't do enough. Very clean, warm and friendly

OMG I thought I'd never find a good value hotel round here. Rooms fantastic for the money, good bar, restaurant, gym and even pool. Fantastic. I know where I'm staying in future when I'm in this area. Holiday Inn take note.

Positive.. Very nice hotel, clean with friendly staff and decent fiod (we only had breakfast).
Negative... Hard matresses and very hard pillows. Slept very badly and woke sire and stiff, feeling as if I'd been run over by a tractor. Could just be me but friends also staying there said they found the same.

Extremely rude staff . Artee , especially ensured that every interaction was rude and out of line. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone . I went to the hotel as it was recommended on secret escapes . I wouldn t recommend it to anyone .

Regency Park is a hotel that's good enough based on the star rating and price.

Room I stayed in was large and clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom was small but functional and could probably do with some updating.

Breakfast was tasty but a little overcooked and all a bit, well, same as every other British hotel you go to really. No choice of eggs for example, it's watery scrambled or nothing.

What I'm saying is there's nothing special here but what is offered is done well enough. For the price I would consider starting again.

Stayed here a few times, it's OK fixtures and fittings starting to look a bit tired and in need of replacement (specially the shower in my room). Stayed two nights and ate in the bar food on both occasions (burger first night and something that was meant to be a T Bone steak the second) was very disappointing. Actually felt hungry after both meals and needed to buy crisps! OK for short business trip but wouldn't want to stay any longer.

I recently stayed at the Regency after a day at the races. I found the hotel to be clean, tidy and to a high standard. The rooms were adequate and fit for purpose. We had our evening meal at the hotel restaurant which was not only delicious but value for money. The staff were all very welcoming and officiant at their jobs. My only critique would be that we would have enjoyed treatments at the spa and although we were informed we were welcome to use it after our Sunday check out there were no beauty therapist working on a Sunday.

Lovely hotel. We booked an Autumn break away for 2 night including breakfast and and 3 course dinner. Our room was on the top floor which proved difficult for me to climb to as the lift on that side of hotel was out of order. The receptionist very swiftly changed our room to one on first floor on opposite side of building with a working lift. Nothing was too much trouble. When arriving to our new room my husband found mattress to be rather old and springy so when we notified the night manager in charge of hotel he arranged for a new one to be put on our bed whilst we were having our dinner. Again nothing was too much trouble and the mattress was delightful. The 3 course meal in the restaurant there was the best I have ever had. Would definitely go back there just to eat. I gather they are an award winning restaurant too which did not surprise us at all. Food was amazing! Service was very very good too. We were going to use the spa over our 2 day stay however i became very ill during the night (not related to anything at the hotel) so unfortunately had to leave early. The reception staff were very kind and understanding. Only charged us for the one night and refunded our second days stay given the fact that i was so ill. I would definitely go back there again and was very impressed with not only the service given but the high quality dining and breakfast. Would recommend this to anyone.

We were due to have our wedding at the Regency on the 24th October this year, then on Tuesday 22nd September, the government announced new guidelines changing the number of guests from 30 to 15 which were coming into force on Monday 28th September. With only 4 days notice and the help from Teresa Duncan and all the staff at the Regency we were able to push everything forward to Saturday 26th September. They did a superb job and made our day very memorable. We would highly recommend anyone wishing to have there Wedding there. A great choice.

Lovely big room with a balcony. Thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool. Good breakfasts and nice dinner on the first evening but it all went wrong on the second evening with service very much delayed, and staff rather losing the plot.
