Nice place to dine and wine in the evening sun. Not the cheapest place though

Appointments are not met. Could go home without an overnight stay because a staff member had failed to inform us that the booked bridal suite could not be used due to a defective jacuzzi. Booked us to a regular room without notice, but let us pay the rate for the bridal suite. Promised by the lady behind the reception that they would be contacted immediately the next day, but unfortunately not allowed to hear anything. The management is therefore not concerned about dissatisfied guests.

Little disappointed, check was from 2, we arrived about 2.15. told room was ready, went up and they were still cleaning. They let us in but the room was still not great. Breakfast a little disappointing as well.

Good location for this hotel on the outskirts of Amersfoort. The rooms are fine, although some corners can be cleaned more often.

A very friendly welcome for a large, modern room with air conditioning and spacious bathroom. Good and close to the old town with free parking and good restoration in the house - for the region Amersfoort always the first choice!

Followed a course, nice accommodation and surroundings, unfortunately no free tea and coffee, so bring your own!

Very nicely located, had yesterday after work done me a beer in the beer garden, wonderfully comfortable and the service a one, as everything in this hotel was very good and I enjoyed my stay.

Rather expensive and late check out was impossible even though they were not even close to full.

Have slept 1 night here was too short, Wilde another night but was fully booked.
Had reserved a room with balcony but the room was not my taste. In my believing it was more of an urban / outdoor-like room I asked for a slightly more classic room and that went very well! Nice hotel, great breakfast and great environment. Please come back!

Cozy chic hotel, the lunch room, however, was equipped with loud music, a good conversation with 5 people was difficult.

with 13 riders sitting on the terrace waiting for service. where the coffee was top last year, we have not been able to smell it now. after 20 minutes we got up again and continued with our racing bike ... very unfortunate

Great food, nice and atmospheric ambiance, plenty of room, so that you (as often in restaurants) are not on top of each other. Reserved in advance, attention was paid to the wishes we had.

Beautiful hotel with a rich history on the west side of Amersfoort. Our room was on the small side, especially in terms of bathroom facilities, but adequate for a night away and within cycling distance of the interesting city center.

Hotel in itself good. Strange how the main entrance and reception are in relation to each other. It is a shame that you see that a lot is being adjusted for safety. Important, though. Breakfast room what perk up is now very boring. Food is good. Pay attention to details, paintwork. Working lighting. Very good is that air conditioning is linked to windows closed! Chapeau. Note the details in corridors and rooms.

Nice hotel, situated between the woods on a main road. Large parking lot. Delicious buffet breakfast. Friendly staff.
From the hotel to many cycle paths. The electric bicycles can be charged under the hotel.
You can walk to Amersfoort from the hotel. (about 15 minutes)

We arrived on Easter Monday at 12.30 for a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Because of the Easter brunch, only the bar was open. Kindly welcomed by one of the staff members who we reported that we wanted something to drink. So far nothing wrong with that. Subsequently, for a long time, only seen staff who passed by from all sides. Nobody wondered if we might want to use something. After about 10 minutes we just left. It was clear that the staff had forgotten its most important task (giving guests the feeling that they are welcome) (and us too). Special experience ...

The room was pleasant and Clean. The bed was comfortable but sadly the two matresses weer very loose which resulted in lots of shifting during the night.

Book and stayed at this hotel over 3 weeks ago, for 3N/4D period. Hotel is located in the outskirts of Amersfoort in a beautiful wood area. Upon arrival we had an excellent check in. Did not like the first room and asked for an upgrade. Second room assigned was with defects when we finally checked in a small roof top room. Nicely decorated. Unfortunately their housekeeping department is a total mess, room was never cleaned properly, light in the shower out of order and after many reminders fixed. Safe wasn t working. Breakfast is good, the buffet is well stocked as long there are ongoing conferences, we stayed in that period and over the weekend without meetings when the buffet suddenly halved in offer and only one staff on duty. We had one dinner in their dining room which as excellent. Free parking and good WiFi signal. Too much happened to us and we won t return.

Handy to have a car to explore the area.

Comfortable room, good beds, good bathroom. Sound insulation could be better: you can hear your neighbors conversing too clearly.
Fine restaurant: weekend discount menu (dinner) is recommended. Breakfast buffet ok.
Staff are helpful and very friendly.
Location is less convenient compared to. the city center of Amersfoort. Walking (approx. 20 minutes) is most convenient. Otherwise by bus from the stop De Lichtenberg (hospital): but then you go towards the railway station ...

Spotlessly clean and beds really comfy but meals hellishly expensive.

Yesterday I ate a Nicoise salad in the restaurant. Rarely have I been served such a disappointing dish. A halved sun tomato, 2 parts of boiled egg, some lettuce, a tiny piece of mackerel and a bland mayonnaise dressing, that was all. Served on a soup plate.
You then pay 13.50 for that. The chef of this restaurant should be seriously ashamed.

Very friendly people, clean rooms, a pity that there is no mini bar and room service is limited. We were with a large group and returned a little earlier than planned in the afternoon. We wanted to drink a glass of wine but that was not possible, because they were still busy with the preparations. No wine in the entire hotel so we went back to the room .. we felt really too much and ignored at that time, while there were enough people walking around to help us. Later that afternoon it was neatly solved. Breakfast is fine but not special and the coffee at breakfast is really too strong .. also no cappuccino present ..

Paar keer op het terras gezeten en de bediening is iedere keer erg traag. Tafels waarvan de gasten al lang zijn vertrokken staan nog lang vol met glazen. Het duurt ook lang voordat de bestelling wordt opgenomen en daarna duurt het ook weer erg lang voordat het wordt uitgeserveerd. We moeten meestal zelf zwaaien of naar binnen lopen om bestellingen te plaatsen.

Outside terrace is nice and quiet. Food is tasty and the portion is quite large. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Location nice. Close to the highway but at the same time also feel rural. Free parking. Nice big terrace.

Stayed in hotel for 3 days.
The first impression of the hotel is fine. Plenty of free parking spaces for both car and bicycles, also plenty of charging options. Entrance as you may expect. Hotel room with an interesting layout, separate toilet and shower, as are the washbasins. Nice TV and small desk. Free WiFi was not over. Can hardly watch a movie, constant hiccups. Hotel layout is somewhat complex and confusing, especially with the current Corona rules. Breakfast is very poor, so to speak minimal. scrambled eggs very dry / grainy every day. Always eat fruit, even the yoghurt. Bread tough and old. Coffee just an adequate.
Not being able to order a cold beer on the terrace. The coolers could not handle it was the argument. The restaurant menu looks fine, although priced very high. Anyway, but not eaten there because of the other restoration setbacks. Although hygiene is promised to be of paramount importance, the carpets were not clean. Also a lot of rubbish on the ground in the lifts. Price of the stay is fine, nice deal.
Location relative to the center of Amersfoort is perfect. Hill-down into town. The e-bike was no problem. Beautiful surroundings, lots of forest and beautiful buildings.
Finally, a compliment for the bike ride that we were offered. It exceeded our expectations.

Faded glory. Wonderful beds. Super friendly staff. But otherwise not worth the money. Rooms need updating. The bathroom in particular is outrageously old and worn out.
