I went through my school and all the rooms were very luxurious and spacious! It was a lovely place to stay at!

Deliciously bubbled and eaten in the Berghotel. Positive about the service. Good advice, friendly and professional.

For a course I was in the best western hotel. The location is easy to reach. The course space was good, fresh coffee, tea and water were always provided. The lunch was fantastic, with soup, salad, croquette, yogurt and well-made sandwiches.

What a hospitality. Culinary seen also a highlight. The restaurant is certainly in the top 3 of best experiences ever.

Stayed 1 night with my mother and sister at this hotel through Marrea. Breakfast and dinner was included, rooms were okay, we got a three-course menu, we were not allowed to choose, we had informed at check-in that 2 people did not like cheese, starter was a cheese salad, waiter said that they hardly ever got that from the reception, when we were waiting for the main course, pork tenderloin with mushroom sauce, after 30 min the waiter came to say that it would take a bit longer due to group of 40 men, after another 60 minutes of waiting our main course finally arrived which was very dry and without 1 mushroom, told that we thought it was a bit dry, the waiter said okay, then waiting for our dessert, banana trees with caramel, a little later the waiter came to tell us that the dessert had failed and we got a fruit cocktail, which luckily tasted good. We had ordered a voucher for bitterballen, at the end of the evening, after 25 minutes they came to say that they had forgotten the bitterballen, and had to put new ones in the chip shop, finally received after 10 minutes, they were tasty. Breakfast was ordinary, nothing special. This is a real shame, also unclear at the reception when checking in, there is no telling what time we have to check out, WiFi code, etc. This hotel is not worth repeating.

Satisfied with our stay at the Berghotel in Amersfoort. Quiet location within walking distance of the center. Great room with a nice view and coffee machine. No real bathroom: sink in the room, but shower and toilet are separate areas. Personally, I thought this was quite special / special (positive). Friendly staff. Breakfast in shifts. Wide choice of sandwiches, fillings and drinks, is also regularly replenished. Now and then a small queue for the coffee machine. All in all, I would definitely recommend the Berghotel!

Facilities are good and just outside the city. Easy access to main highway.

We came for the Xmas brunch however although staff did their outmost best it was very disappointing. Not too be recommended for future use. Price / Quality was very disappointing... No menu provided (although asked for). Hopefully next year they have better success.

FITNESS ROOM is complete for a quick workout. very friendly personell. restaurant is pretty expensive - more than 6 euro for a large beer. very good location - some minutes to the town. some minutes to the highway. quiet rooms. i would come again...

Nicely renovated, almost historic, hotel building on the Utrechtseweg in Amersfoort where, despite the ongoing modernization, it still exudes the atmosphere of earlier times.
We experienced our double room at the front of the building with balcony and view of the water tower (1912) as small and compact with a fresh modern look. Almost everything was there for what you can expect from a hotel room, it was clean and fresh but also had some disadvantages. The room was fairly noisy not only because of the passing car traffic on the Utrechtseweg, but also because of the sounds from the floor below right below our room where a drink after a course could be heard as being very cozy .. We should have found it and before 10.00 No more noise nuisance during the evening.
The biggest "annoyance" was the "ieniemienie" pedal bin, the only waste depot point in the room that invariably fell over when you pressed the ieniemienie pedal. TIP: purchase larger and more robust pedal bins and / or waste bins.
The simple shower cubicle was and remained simple, the washbasin unit gave a sort of "kitchen block feeling". I especially missed a spotlight or modest lighting to make up at the huge wall mirror, so the almost "stadium lighting" had to be turned on, so my hubby was immediately "lit up". The bed was small, a bit too soft but otherwise fine and the low chaise longue bench looks nice but it has almost given us both a double hernia when we get up
Furthermore, the breakfast made up for almost all the "other suffering" again: nice breakfast room with a beautifully presented breakfast buffet where nothing was missing.
In short, we have all had a great stay at the Best Western Plus Hotel Amersfoort so: "who cares about a ieniemienie pedal bucket"?

A nice four star hotel located at Utrechtseweg 225 in Amersfoort. Combination from classic to modern that you can see on the outside has also been implemented in the interior. The food was fine, the beds comfortable. The staff was in my opinion very professional and with one exception very friendly. There are several rooms where meetings and / or training can take place. The area surrounding the hotel is beautiful.

Nicely situated hotel on the outskirts of Amersfoort. The hotel has nice spacious rooms in which we both had a chair. The breakfast was well cared for and the restaurant was excellent.

It is an old town restored to life and a very beautiful historical building.

Environment is beautiful and perosneel friendly. The room is really badly laid out. If it is already small, the bed is also in the middle. No closed bathroom. Desk in front of the window and enormous lamp above the only seat, making it hardly usable. Price / quality poor in my opinion.
Fortunately the room was clean and the bed was narrow but it was nice.

Stayed twice..food extremely bad..first time a curry worth 2 euro in terms of ingredients costing 23 euro, leaving me and my gusts amazed. The second visit thought I would be safe with a burger, in which half of it was completely raw. Staff didn t care! Charged 23 euro for that as well! Fresh bread brought to me with a fly on! Not staying again on my fortnightly visits through work. Sad.

Great hotel, located at a reasonable distance from the center. Rooms are fine, the interior of the hotel looks a bit dated but nice. Great breakfast and nice terrace to sit outside.

Extensive; tasty and just breakfast. Everything is plentiful. There is constantly someone who refills everything.
The maintenance of the room sometimes left something to be desired. Too bad because I am allergic to dust.
The hotel is quietly located just on the outskirts of the city. Opposite there is a nice forest to walk in and behind the hotel there is a beautiful residential area.
The staff at the desk are very, very helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much to ask.
It is possible to rent bicycles and everything is easily accessible by bicycle.
Recommended !!

Great little hotel and conference venue not too far from Amersfoort station. Friendly staff and clean, well-appointed rooms. Rates are respectable but remember that breakfast is usually not included (but worth the 13 Euro extra). Unusually, the reception is not right in front, so just follow the signs..

After a walk we drank coffee here. Good coffee and tasty apple pie. When our son had fallen, the waiter even brought us a small cake for the fright. Very good service and friendly staff. Furthermore, no use was made of the hotel facilities.

We stayed at this hotel one night. The service is really good, I was wrong in the week and booked wrong. No problem, we were rebooked for free and got a discount. Do I really have to say top. The rooms are enough. Everything was clean and bed was comfortable. There is only one point that disturbed us a bit. And that at breakfast. We had breakfast for 16.90 per person. Unfortunately, unfortunately, a lot was empty, or the service came with the refill not completely behind. Hence a star deduction. Otherwise I can recommend this hotel.

Always a good experience at the Amersfoort hotel. Great staff, always helpful. The rooms are very nice with everything that you need. The food is very nice. The hotel looks pleasant and is located in a nice secure area.
