One of the best experiences I have had buying a new vehicle at a dealership. Tony in sales was friendly, knowledgeable and provided a no pressure approach. Ben in finance was great to deal with. All of the numbers he provided were easy to understand in transparent. There were no hidden fees they tried to sneak in like other dealerships such as documentation or bogus security stickers. They also provided fair market value for my trade in. The entire process from start to finish was pleasant and stress free. I am happy with my purchase and look forward to purchasing again from Red Deer Toyota in the future.

My brand new 2014 4Runner Trail came with a license plate holder on the front bumper. It was crooked so I took it off and saw two badly drilled holes. I asked them to replace it, they said no. My bumper looks like someone shot it twice with a .22. I returned and had another sales person tell me they would recommend a place to have it fixed, but I have to pay for it. I said that's unacceptable. The sales person then left me a phone message saying they spoke to both dealerships (truck was brought in from B.C.) and there was nothing they could do. After several trips back, spoke with the manager and he agreed to have it fixed but not replaced. 10 minutes later he phones and leaves a message saying he went on Google and read this review and didn't know if they could still do the deal. I haven't returned the call. I am so fed up with going back there I'm going to go ahead and get it fixed myself. Should have done it long ago and saved myself a lot of wasted time.
The original sales person was full of lies. He told me the truck was coming with off road tires (I informed him they don't), the price changed from what we verbally agreed on, told me to come in and pick up the 4Runner but it wasn't there, etc. I contacted Toyota Canada, they said I would hear back in 7 - 10 days. They never got back to me. I hate this place and hope this helps keep people away from Red Deer Toyota. This dealership makes you never want to buy new again. Love the truck. Hate dealing with Toyota. Go to Edmonton or Calgary and save yourself from the headache. I have spoke with other people who bought new Toyota's from this dealership and they had their own horror stories to share. The reply from the manager is pretty funny and no where near the truth. Nice try though!
I bought some cross bars for the roof rack and found the parts department very helpful. Even had a mechanic and parts person come and figure out how to put them on. To them I say "Thanks much!"

After my oil change I had a scraping sound coming from the engine bay. Opened the hood and found an empty transmission oil container stuck against the fan belt. Also the free car wash was terrible, good thing it was complimentary.

What a great place to get a vehicle. I have never had an issue with this dealership. I've always left feeling valued and appreciated. I just recently got into a new Tacoma. Ben was a great sales associate. At no point did I feel pressured or pushed into anything. I will for sure look to him for any future vehicle inquiries. Rick in finance was one of the funniest people I have ever dealt with when dealing with a vehicle purchase. Really laid everything out for me and made sure I knew what I was getting into. Save the trip to Edmonton or Calgary and go to Red Deer Toyota for your next vehicle. Also just had our Highlander detailed and we got it back looking and smelling brand new.

Love coming here with my family to get our family minivan serviced. Always excellent service. One time we had to take the city bus home because the shuttle was too busy, the dealership felt so bad, they gave the kids teddy bears. At least they care.

Very dissatisfied with the service I received. Bought a Rav 4 in October 2013. At the time the staff was rude and disorganized. I decided on a lease that I would pay half now and half at payout. To this date I am still unsure of what was charged and what my payout will be. Noone had ever done one of these types of leases before. I was passed through several people and never did get a satisfactory response. I wrote several letters to Toyota and spoke with managers at the dealership with no response. It is now coming to the end of my lease and I have booked an appointment with someone to discuss my lease so I will report on my outcome when I have completed it.

A fantastic experience. We were hunting for a used vehicle but are quite perticular. Being from out of town we decided to make our first enquiries over email. Amy was great and responded really quickly, even sent us a video walk around of the vehicle.

The next day we decided to make the drive and the vehicle was ready and clean for when we arrived. Amy and all the staff were so friendly and there was no pressure.

When it comes to buying a Toyota I would definitely keep this place in mind even though there are local dealerships way closer to me.

My husband and I had a fantastic experience at Red Deer Toyota. Our salesman was Mo and he was extremely genuine and personable. He made the experience fun and enjoyable and went above and beyond with the buying experience all the way to the end. After the sale was written up, he allowed us to pick a surprise gift card that was waiting in our new vehicle upon delivery. It was a nice, thoughtful touch. The manager also had a great sense of humour and he took a photo of us ringing the giant gong when the deal was finalized. The staff at Red Deer Toyota really care for their customers and don t just rely on the great product name alone to sell vehicles. We would recommend Red Deer Toyota to anyone looking for a vehicle. Ben my sales guy was great to work with and went above my expectations.
But... walking around and observing other sales associates and people. Not the friendliest feeling. Almost like a stick up theyre butts. I hope they consider changing initial presentaion.

Overall great experience with the crew at Red Deer Toyota. Just bought a 4Runner and couldn't be happier with the overall experience. Buying a vehicle is not always the easiest thing to do, and the fellas at Red Deer Toyota made it a pleasant one. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and transparent. I didn't feel over-pressured. Stephan (Stefan?) took me into his office and asked me a bunch of questions and then when I said exactly exactly what I was interested in looking at he ignored me and kept asking questions. He had a really poor knowledge of cars he was selling and sent me out to look at something that I wasn t remotely interested in. He would not even let me into a car, instead he just kept asking if it was something I was going to buy. How am I supposed to know if I would want to buy that car if I haven t even sat in it? I have been a toyota owner for over 25 years, between my former husband and I we had 4 toyotas in that time that we loved. Red Deer Toyota has put an end to that last fall (or at least has made the idea of getting another Toyota quite unlikely). It was last fall I had my vehicle scheduled in for service and brought it in for the 7:30 doors opening time to ensure I'd get on the shuttle (7 person van) to get back to town to ensure I'd make it to a course I was booked in to attend.

I got there 7:40, traffic slow that morning as we'd just got a tremendous dump of snow the day prior. On getting there I handed my key and asked about the shuttle as I did not see it outside where it should be. I was told it had already left for town. Left? The doors were only open 10 minutes? I ended up waiting 40 minutes for the shuttle to return to get me to town and found that the shuttle driver had left with only TWO people in the 7 passenger van. I was quite anxious as I was fearing not making it to my booked appointment in town. As it went, I did not get back in time and had to rebook the course.

At the end of the day when I went to get my vehicle I was then told that now it needed all 4 struts replaced. (the maintenance was a regular maintenance, but they did manage to find other 'minor' issues making the bill for the day quite a significant one already and then tell me I needed struts).

I was going to book the appointment but I made a request to perhaps have a loaner vehicle set aside so I'd not be at the mercy of a shuttle driver that takes off in under 10 min of door opening with merely 2 people aboard. I was told I could not use a loaner as they are for people whose vehicles are not drivable and mine would still be drivable. I asked then if perhaps the way the shuttle operates could be looked into to better serve the customers. I was told maybe I should try to get in on time. REALLY??? The doors open at 7:30 and with severe snow I was in for 7:40... I don't know about everyone but I really don't think that is a tardy arrival time given the road conditions??!!!

The woman at the booking desk (Kathy W) was totally unhelpful - she portrayed a person who ldid not give a damn about the customer and would not do anything to try to make the next experience an improvement. She denied allowing for use of a loaner vehicle nor passing on to the appropriate people a consideration of using the shuttle more appropriately to allow for more than 2 people to use it at a time and so I requested speaking to a manager. She would not get me a manager. She was, in my eyes, the absolute opposite of what one should have as the front staff interacting with customers.

In the end there was no attempt to please the customer (myself) with regards to transportation back to town and no apology for leaving me stranded in the morning with a 40 minute wait for the shuttle to come back.

As well, the struts - well I did not book them in and had them looked at by another party and was told they did NOT need replacing. So.... there you have it, they were going to take advantage of my lack in mechanical skills to get me to pay for a pricey fix that was not even needed!!!

I shall try Another Toyota dealership for any work to my vehicles or future purchases as I have read others have done. I need a place where customer service is a priority, Customer services doesn't matter one little bit to these fools.

Very impressive from start to finish. I went in for recalls on my Toyota. We were greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable woman at the service desk. When she called for someone from the garage, he too was pleasant and helpful. I was given helpful suggestions on a minor service that came at an excellent rate. The car was returned washed and looking great. I'm very pleased with all aspects in my dealing with Toyota!

Extremely poor. I ordered a trim piece for a customer of mine last summer and while I understand it is outside their return policy or 30 days, I was mostly interested in finding out what happened, and how I could have the correct clips but a window trim piece for the incorrect vehicle(ordered at the same time). I supplied the Vin when I ordered and some error was made somewhere. Instead of at least finding out what could have been the cause and going from there, he decided it was more important to remind me of the return policy 3 separate times. Going as far as reading out the policy back of the receipt to me. I would have accepted admitting to the error and purchasing the proper trim and cutting my losses but clearly he was more interested in getting out of the error made initially. I will not be back and won't recommend anyone else to deal with the parts department after my experience. The piece was 70 dollars, I will take purchase elsewhere from now on.

He diligently answered all questions, followed up with us very promptly on any requests we had, and unobtrusive during the entire process. He was there to serve our best interests, without any 'pushy salesman' tactics - what else could we even ask for? Bravo, and we will be back again!

We have dealt with Red Deer Toyota for various vehicle purchases and for subsequent ongoing service on the vehicles. One vehicle now has over 400,000 kms and has never had a problem on the road. This speaks for itself about the quality of the vehicle and the service I have received. I also appreciate Corey in Finance whose follow up and dependability is appreciated especially when arranging credit. Ongoing and satisfied Toyota customer.

Just purchased a car from RD Toyota yesterday. This was the best experience I have ever had purchasing a car. I cannot say enough good things. There was no pressure to purchase as certain type of car. Amy was the person I spoke to there. She was professional, courteous, and pleasant. She went over and above what she had too. Mitch was who helped with the financing was super helpful. I could not be happier with my purchase there. I bought a used 2015, the detailing of the car is by far the best detailing I have ever seen!! It basically feels like a brand new 2015. I highly recommend shopping here for a vehicle! I booked a service appointment online on them web site and got a text message confirmation. But when I arrived there I was told that i need to wait for 1&1/4 hour more before they will start with my car. So I had just leave with nothing.

500$ and nothing done. I paid for a full check up. Can't even verify if the filters and oil was really changed on the invoice. I Own a Toyota Prius Hybrid. So I'm a little scared to bring it anywhere else other that Toyota but I'll never bring it back here. bought it a few months ago and got it checked out, they told me a couple of things to fix at that time, which I didn't do any of. This time none of those were mentioned, like the alternator belt they were gone a replace last time for 150$. Which I still haven't replaced and it looks good. I bought a 20$ spare incase. Drove it put 20000 km this summer. Brought it in recently because I'm 100% sure I punctured my break line, I saw the drip when applying the breaks myself. They couldnt find the leak but the fluid was down. Not a big deal. They zip tied my bumper that was falling off 75$. Which I maybe was gonna fix and was inquiring about. I forgot to mention my licence plate falling off. The screw on the one side sheerd off. They forgot to mention it too. . So paid 500$ for a maybe oil change, maybe change of filters. But I'm 100% gonna have to look over my entire vehicle myself cause I do not trust the work. Two sensors and a check engine light. Which I'm told is all a oxygen sensor in the fuel. Seems weird one light came on this summer then a couple months later the second light comes on, and then just recently the check engine and it all the same thing. A oxygen sensor?

They have put in remote start and block heater without clearly pointing out it will be extra... None of the documents were copied or emailed to me for review after the order. My message here is 1. Just bought a new Tacoma from these guys. I read a crapload of poor reviews from Google, but decided to swing by to have a look and a price check since it's a bit closer to where we live out in the country than Cochrane. It's a perfect little truck for our needs, and I did heaps of research beforehand. Joanne Sankey was super nice and seemed keen to do business so I stayed a bit. Joanne handled the deal quite well, by answering all my detailed questions (about engine parameters, towing, and electronics on the brand new ones) and by negotiating a very fair price. I'm still stoked enough to write this, so maybe things have changed a bit.

My sales consultant Amy and the staff at Red Deer Toyota have changed that. I built my new car online and from that time to my final purchase it was an excellent experience. The staff was mindful of doing everything in a timely manner and a lot of the process was performed electronically.

The saleswoman I had was wonderful. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, she listened to what I wanted and didn't want and found a vehicle that suited me and my budget. When it came time to talk numbers there was some confusion by a manager on the sales price. First the price came in much lower than the window price. Once they realized their mistake, the price was $1200 more than the window price. We were able to resolve this through negotiation but I don't think I should have had to negotiate to get the advertised price.

Not gone service my vehicle here, very unprofessional and arrogant staff towards customer, they have some good staff though, but the main image is different because of few employees.
Just one of few interactions in this dealership.
Example: last year tried to get the quote for winter tires, I gave him what Costco quoted for, got arrogant with me and he said to me don t know how they can do that and turned to different customer.
P.S. Bought my vehicle here, never again, need lots of improvements here.

I recently purchased a new 2021 RAV4 from Toyota Red Deer. Everyone at Toyota was so kind and helpful. I had to bring my nephew with me during the process and everyone was so kind to him. My salesman Mo was incredible! he provided me with all the information I needed, and more! Mo was very personable and made the experience of buying a new vehicle more relaxed. Mo also was very kind and included a surprise gift card for me when I picked up my vehicle. All in all it was a wonderful and very exciting experience buying a new vehicle from Toyota Red Deer.
