A place with good memories, father and son wait for him to arrive at the airport early

I've flown out of a few different airports now, and have not yet found the level of service and pride that I've seen here at DCA. Before the sun has even rose, the staff are smiling, attentive, and even funny. Taking the time to make people feel welcomed, and also well taken care of while waiting in the TSA line.

It puts to shame YYZ, ATL, and sadly MBJ to name a couple that have disappointed me with impatient, and curt service.

Thank you DCA can't wait to return again soon!

The Cibo market place is extremely disfunctional. Whoever made the decision to implement should rethink things.

Just an average airport. Pretty outdated, but easy to get around.

Best airport. Free Wi-Fi, easy to find gates without walking a million miles, good food selections, quick security lines and no stupid trains or buses that have to take you to the gates

Small airport, easy to get around and through security. If you're traveling with American they have a shuttle to switch terminals without exiting from the secure area. Not a ton of food options but enough around and all your basic needs.

Flew in and out of Reagan International for a conference in DC. We had no issues and had an easy time making it through security and finding our gate. Many options for food in the terminal we were in.

This air port is a major pain. The organization is confusing and complicated, and there is not any signs pointing out where anything is. I would definitely try to avoid tight connections here. The air port it s self is pretty nice I guess, but I just could not figure it out. There is a shuttle service from terminal to terminal that seems to be incredibly inconvenient and inconsistent, you have no clue how long it is going to take you to get from place to place. I definitely will do all I can to avoid getting another flight through this air port again.

I am not rating the airport. I am rating &pizza. The place is good and it only takes a few minutes. Good for airport food enough for 2 of desperate but feeds one.

Love the simplicity of this airport, but beware during Covid. You'd think with Covid19 security lines would be short... Seems they are only using half the C gates, so be prepared for 20+ minute wait even at 6am.

Airport is fairly easy to get around, Metro access is nice, lots of amenities available inside. Outlets remain limited, however, and it always feels a bit crowded and hectic.

Never had any major issues flying in/out of Reagan. I will always choose this airport over Dulles just because of the convenience. It's such an easy metro ride to get there and away. Not the classiest airport in the country, but it gets the job done and it's perfectly functional. Plus you generally get a pretty good view of the Mall when your plane is close to the runway.

Many great food options like CAVA and good stuff eatery!

Small airport and always less crowded , since Washington area have 3 major airports , security and luggage is always easy and does not take much time.

Definitely the best airport to fly out of in the DC region. Be aware you have to go in and out of security to get from terminal C to A/B.

One of the most convenient airports to a major city in the nation. And plenty of new food options (2016).

Airport had an interesting interior. The restrooms could've been a bit cleaner. All and all, it was an alright experience. Wasn't too busy.

I love this airport, we are right in the center of Washington, during takeoffs it is possible to see the pentagon. The atmosphere is great in it we feel like reliving the rise of Panam.

Completely disorganized. Also, when you land, they have buses to take you 20 meters from the plane to the terminal, so you have to wait for the entire plane to unload and get their gate checked bags.
In addition, you have to take buses to get between terminals that are very close to each other. This is the airport that you need to land 30 minutes before a connecting flight, or you will miss it.

You also can't sleep in the areas past the TSA security checks if your flight gets canceled, so you get swept to the main lobby, where tons of homeless people sleep.

Not too crowded. Not difficult to navigate through the airport. The airport staff are very helpful. I like the fact that it is located near to DMV area & easily accessible through metro services. If you are in need of rental cars, you can get the service easily at the door step

Speakers are horrible and blasted a non visible tv. Missed my flight due to this and now have to wait 4-8 hours for another flight.

Navigating this airport, particularly with little sleep, was a challenge. Very old & worn out looking. Finally made it to the baggage area. Tried to get a Uber car but the shared car area was a mess. Taxis swerving in and out, hoards of people with no order, lots of people smoking in the non smoking area. By some miracle found my Uber car but took us a good 7 min to just get out of that pick up area.

Getting through security was an ease. I wish there were more places to eat though

Easy to navigate. The airport has beautiful architecture and had an exhibit from the local schools.

Clean and organized. With exception of JetBlue, very seldom have I seen flights delayed. However, how can the security checks be slower than busier airports?

Clean with lines that move pretty fast. Not a bad place to wait for a flight. Would have gone five stars if they had more variety in food options...food is fine but just standard.

Easy to navigate. Metrolinked and connects well into the city.

Gate 35X? X is not on any map I've found...stand in line nervously waiting for an opportunity to ask someone directions while my boarding and departure time for my connecting flight approaches rapidly. A bit too stressful.

It was ok. Tiny lol. There was a bird flying around in there. That was entertaining .

Stylish airport. Prices are often more expensive here as compared to others.

It's like a skeleton crew of people there. No one was at the front desk or there to answer any questions I had. Also American Airlines flight 798 had no social distancing on our row and many others whatsoever ever. When we booked it, that was not the case and the website said it practiced social distance seating. LIES!!!!

Parking and fares are expensive, but very convenient by car or metro.

Even though our flight was canceled they were exceptionally helpful, patient and understanding. The attendant helped us to reroute our trip.

Today went to Cancun-Mexico from Ronald Reagan Washington Airport. The airport is nice according to American standards. The airport was clean & it was quick. TSA staff was also polite & helpful. Security was quick & had no trouble.

Getting through security was very fast. The line is always moving. There were many people in the terminal. There are some charging stations for phones and laptops, but I wish they were scattered throughout.

My laptop was stolen out of my checked bag during a layover here. Watch out! (June, 2016)

Nice experience on this airport. Not crowded, fast movement through TSA, TSA personal very nice with the passengers on the line to gates or in the baggage drop off area.

Awesome airport.. very easy to navigate around. Just don't get intimated by the map. Everything is very nicely marked.. so dropping people off for flights.. car rental and return is very easy to get to. Excellent food selection. Changing ports for phones etc all over. Very friendly yet very professional employees.

I love flying out of here. The security line moves very fast and you can get right off the Metro and catch a flight pretty easily. My travel time from NE DC is usually 25 minutes early mornings. I've made many flights even after I was running late to this airport.

If zero stars were an option, I would have chosen it! I have never been treated with such disrespect. They corralled us as animals in the smallest place. Delays, lies, and nothing but attitude from the gate attendants.They were extremely condescending. I will make sure that my connecting flights never come to this airport again. Also, I will pay more if I have to just to make sure I never have to be on American Airlines flight again. I will give credit to one attendant that could tell something was wrong and apologized for the way the others were treating people.

Clean lots of options for food. Overall not difficult to navigate through.

Shuttle process for American Airlines is terrible, pretty sure they're gonna lose my luggage.

The airport is very conveniently located in Washington, D.C./VA by the Potomac river. The airport is accessible via multiple transportation options. The Yellow and Blue metro lines stop at the station that is directly connected to the airport. It is also accessible from the central DC by taxi/uber in 15-20 min.

The airport is tiny and nothing fancy, but it has everything I need: Starbucks, free wifi, and tables with power sockets.

Security check is ok. It takes as much time as many other airports.

Been twice. Once the TVs did not work at all. And the other time no one that worked here had any idea how to change the channel. All TVs were on the same program when there was plenty else on, whether it be sports or news. I do not understand how someone manages a bar but does not know how to work the TVs. What is the point of having them?

Great airport that is easily accessible to DC! Love that two metro lines are here, and it's an easy walk to the airport from the station. The food options are expansive and give you a taste of some local DC options. The security line is always pretty short and a breeze to get through. No complaints here.

Where you will come when going into Washington DC. Great service and huge airport

The airport is a midsize airport and is pretty easy to navigate, but you have to take a bus to rental car and also to public transportation which is not convenient. Also their needs to be improvement with signage on how to access public transportation are of the airport.

The airport isn't so awesome I come by on the weekends to hang out but it does meet my travel needs.

Wonderful people running the place, just the American Airlines situation at gate 35X is a cluster

Very clean and friendly workers who don't mind giving advice to first time arrives at Reagan International airport!

Not a bad place to fly into. #Metro access isn't bad--easier at one terminal than others. There could be more food options in the terminal, but they have most of their bases covered. Easy access to the city makes it a decent place to fly in and out of. Not sure about rush hour availability, but traffic seemed to flow well.

To me, this is by far the easiest airport to get in and out of in the DC area, especially if you don't drive there. Truthfully, even if you do drive it's not that bad from Daily Parking. Security lines are generally not that bad except around holidays. The airport as been outgrown though as there are not enough seats for passengers anywhere in the B and C terminals.

If you fly out of or land here, you will get some stunning views of DC, the monuments and the surrounding areas. On my last flight in we approached over the Wilson Bridge and I saw the National Harbor Ferris wheel all lit up.

Unlike other airports in the area, Reagan is generally low stress. The security lines are typically short and I think the lighting is soothing. The restaurant choices are quite good with a mix of fast-ish food and better restaurants. And who could complain about having two different Duncan Donuts in one terminal. The breakfast sandwiches at 5 Guys are especially delicious and filling since they include TWO eggs in every one.

Customer service is horrible.
agents acted like I was inconveniencing them by asking a question. 2 different agents so not just one person

They never know what they are doing. American Airlines that is. Slow, rude, and just don't know what he'll is going on. In the past 4 months I have had trouble checking in 6 times that is so sad. Can't wait tell more flight open up.

I was so lost with all the construction and the directional signs were useless.

so i flew here yesterday from o hare airport in chicago. when i got to ronald reagan washington dc airport, i was very early. i got there at 11 and my flight was at 2. it reached 2:00 and it gets delayed to half an hour later. the times keep doing that until the workers told the customers that the plane that we were supposed to take malfunctioned. it took the airport workers 11 hours to find an airplane. we moved from gate 43c to gate 38. i don t know why we had to get moved there, but the same thing kept happening. the departure times were changing to half an hour later. so were the arrival times. at this point everyone at the gate was getting mad, everyone was calling the manager and the manager s assistant kept fighting with people over the phone. i do not recommend this airport, very unorganised and the times lie to you. i do not recommend.

The airport is very neat and pleasant. It is very close to downtown Washington. It is smaller than Dulles and therefore much more comfortable. Few queues to board and the subway to a step

The awesome views coming into Reagan are enough to just fly into/out of this airport

Quick check in and security was a breeze to get through. We flew out on Southwest and it was nice being able to self check in with the individual kiosks. It was a Sunday afternoon so airport security wasn t very crowded...oddly enough the pre-check line was full of people and the regular line was empty. It still went fairly fast. The Southwest terminal was incredibly crowded so there weren t many places to sit down. The staff members were also something to be desired. We flew out when there was a tornado warning and the sirens were going off...we went up to the gate agent and asked where we should go to get away from the giant windows...he looked us straight in the eyes and asked us why?! I honestly couldn t believe it, the sirens were blaring and the sky was dark and the gate agent asked us what we were talking about and why we wanted to know where to go for a tornado. So overall, the airport and its facilities were fine but the staff needs to be a little more emphasis on the customer experience.

The metro and Uber options make this airport very convenient.

"DCA" or "National" (it's never called Reagan by locals) is definitely the best place to fly in or out of when you're living in or visiting DC. It's immediately accessible via the Yellow and Blue lines (though watch out on weekends when Yellow line trains are running on a limited schedule). I have TSA PreCheck, so I can't really speak to how the normal security lines are, but the PreCheck here lines can get pretty long considering DC's home to a lot of frequent travelers.

I loved the experience, i love how modern it is. It is extremely beautiful. But the food options are a bit vague, i went to a smoothie place and all they had was practically a large/small strawberry banana smoothie, out of the whole fruit smoothies they had. But other than that, good place.

Very efficient airport with mostly friendly and very helpful personnel. Short lines for security allow for quick processing. Very clean. Conveniently connected to the DC Metro system.

Super efficient airport! The metro connection is great and facilitates access virtually from anywhere in the Washington DC area. There's some construction going on in the vicinity of the exterior of the arrival terminal, but there is abundant signage to alert travelers as to where to go for shuttle buses, rental cars, etc. The airport has an abundance of stores, cafes, fast food, and restaurants so if you have a particular snack or travel item in mind, you're sure to find it inside the terminal or even once you've cleared security. If you need assistance, there are multiple information desks with helpful and knowledgeable personnel. An overall Great airport!

Security check is a standard procedure for safety. Enjoy your waiting time before the flight.

Love flying to and from this airport... very scenic on approach and takeoff. The downside is the traffic around there. Inside is laid out nice and easy to navigate. Has all the usual airport shopping and eateries inside..

They do NOT socially distance at all, by the gate or by security! You should all fix your sh!t!
