VERY VERY UPSET at the fact the salesman wrecked my vehicle into one of their own cars. Its the last day of the month and they are really pressing for a sale. The car i had for the past 2 days didnt work out for me so i told them i would look elsewhere. I repeatedly told them i needed to leave to be able to make it to work on time, so they offered to allow me to drive a car that may work out for me. i didn't really care for the model, but they insisted on hopes i may end up liking it. Coincidentally, it was the part owner of the store whose car it was ran into! They acted like it was no big deal and offered to fix it. Currently waiting for the police officer to show up to make a report. I would never recommend this place to anyone. That isnt how you do business nor keep business. Will never be back!

The serviceman went out of his way to get me some paper mats for my car. I had a blanket, he stated that he was worried that it may get caught on the gas paddle, and got me those paper mats, so impressive. It would give me great pleasure if you guys contact him personally and let him know that ,he truly made my week!

IF I COULD GIVE THEM NEGATIVE 5 STARS I WOULD!! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!! THEY ALLOW THEIR EMPLOYEES TO STEAL CUSTOMER VEHICLES!! TOOK A VEHICLE TO BE SERVICED AND THEY HAD TO KEEP MY VEHICLE OVER NIGHT AND TOLD ME THAT THEY WOULD KEEP IT LOCKED UP INSIDE OVER NIGHT AND I GOT A CALL THE NEXT DAY STATING THAT MY VEHICLE HAD BEEN STOLEN AND THAT THE KEYS ARE ALSO MISSING!! THEY HAVE CAMERAS ALL AROUND THE BUILDING BUT THEY SAY NONE OF THEM RECORDS NOBODY TRIED TO REALLY HELP EITHER AND WAS EXTREMELY RUDE!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!

Kathy, and Kevin were absolutely great! We were very hesitant about buying a vehicle and having a car payment. We weren't even sure if we would be approved. Kevin sat down and really took the time with us to help us understand our credit. He was really encouraging and put forth the effort to help us try to get back on track. Kathy took the time to make sure we understood everything with the vehicle we purchased. We are really looking forward to a wonderful relationship with this dealership and future purchases.

False advertising..lures you in with a "prequalifi...

False advertising..lures you in with a "prequalified application " once you're there, they ask you to put down 2500 more than what the ad asks for...then they take forever to respond to emails,calls and texts. If you're going to go thru Ray Skillman, go to the south location and ask for Dan Johnson. He'll take care of you.

I would like to thank Derrick and the management staff for working very hard to earn my business. I was shopping for a truck, came in told them what I was trying to achieve. I went to several other dealers to cross shop and get the best deal. The people at Skillman did and excellent job of working with me to get me the right truck and the best pricing and deal. Thank you for you time and professionalism.
I was back in for the spray in bed liner and cover, Jason in the service department was excellent, great communication, made sure everything was taken care of. Everyone at the dealership continues to impress me with their dedication to top notch service and ensuring that everything that was part of the overall deal was taken care of.

Service department staff are not as friendly as th...

Service department staff are not as friendly as they should be. They do not offer loaner cars but they offer a shuttle service with in 10 miles (i work on the other side of town).
The customer waiting area is nice they offer coffee and tea and water. And snacks!

I went to the shop to get a repair for a malfunctioning seat belt light and to get an estimate on an engine light issue. I called early in the morning, they admitted they were busy, but would squeeze me in. The provided an estimate and finished the work by mid afternoon. I was really pleased with the service and full explanation of the work and repair cost. They were honest, kind and friendly, which I truly appreciate.

I over paid for my vehicle which was my fault. However I bought the extended warranty and it doesn't cover anything. Also they never have loaners available when having work done and I kick myself everyday for paying the same for a 3 year old car as I would have for a brand new car.

We love the service department, we drive past seve...

We love the service department, we drive past several other GM dealers to get to Ray Skillman Northeast. They work very hard to help with any requests that we have and do what they say they are going to do. Also there is never any pressure to try and upsell us on products or services, however I trust what Jason tells me needs done. Would definitely recommend!

This was another terrible experience at Skillman Northeast Buick. I brought my 19 Terrain in on Feb 14th for 2 recalls, oil change and tire rotation. I asked the rep, Leon what did the recalls mean. "I don't know" was his response. I asked him would my first oil change be free. Again, "I don't know". In less than 2hrs the vehicle was done. Strange because other times I have gotten just an oil change and it took well over 2hrs. By Monday, I was losing engine power. It was fixed and I was sent on my way the next day, same thing. I then brought my vehicle in again for the third time on Friday Feb 21st; obviously frustrated that the "repairs" they are completing aren't complete. I spoke to the service director, Karl Raines. He assured me, he would personally take care of things, would keep me in the loop, and would even drive my car to his home to try to determine the problem. As of Thurs Feb 26, no one had called. I called, spoke to Leon to find out what was happening. "I don't know. Jay will have to call you back". I have called before and was advised Jay would call me. HE HAS NEVER CALLED ME BACK. I then called to request a contact # for a regional manager. No one know who that is. I then spoke to sales manager Steve. He said he would call me back. HAS NEVER CALLED ME BACK. Karl finally calls me Friday "because he knew I was upset" and says he never drove the car (although over 30 miles of gas mysteriously disappeared from my vehicle). He says the part was ordered Monday, arrived Thursday and was completed the same day. I told him I would be filing a formal complaint regarding the lack of communication and competency. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, no one said a word to me, other than where my vehicle was parked to be picked up. At no time was I rude or offensive to anyone. What type of service is this? This is not my first purchase with Ray Skillman, but will more than likely be my last; for certain with this particular dealership. I also had issues getting the vehicle registered when I first purchased the vehicle.

I would really appreciate if Skillman would remove me from their mailing list. I learned my lesson the one and only time I dealt with them and it will never be repeated. I hope they realize I'm giving them a one star only because I have to enter something. Thank you.

After dealing with David Schimmel the first time I needed a vehicle, I decided he would be my go too man for any further purchases. Unfortunately my wife s car had died on us and the first man I called after being told the cost versus value was David. David immediately set up an appointment later on in the evening that was convenient to both my wife and I. We walked in to the dealership and met Mr Schimmel immediately. I explained to him our budget, wants and needs, and type of vehicle. He pulled up a list of vehicles that met our criteria. I picked a few out and we went for test drives. Not once did David seem upset I was taking multiple test drives or asking a million questions. After awhile, David and I agreed on the perfect vehicle. While doing the paperwork, David had the car detailed and washed so when I got in it, it felt as if I was in a new, never owned vehicle, and not a pre owned.
Excellent service, excellent communication and excellent experience. I would recommend David to anyone.

After feeling frustrated by another dealer location I didn't think we would be able to get a vehicle or at least one my husband and I would like. We met with our salesman David Schimmel and we were blown away by how helpful he was to us. We were there 6 hours total (financing included) and we found the car that we wanted. David was so easy to work with. He never pushed anything on us we didn't want. He listened to us and what our needs were and he got us what we wanted and more. Josh Falcone was great with the financing and they went above and beyond to make sure we left with the car we wanted. I highly recommend Ray Skillman!

I called for an appointment for oil change and replace license plate light. I told them that I was off this week and would appreciate if I could get in. They squeezed me in that same day and Anthony handled my car and me with speed and politeness. Couldn't ask for more!

If I could take any more stars away I most definitely would. Came in to have my 2019 Fiat (which is now Chrysler owned) to get an oil change. Called ahead to schedule and make sure everything was in stock. Was told to bring it on in. After checking me in, quoting me a price, they take the car. 2 hours into it was told we were waiting on a filter to arrive. When asked a roundabout time frame was told at that point it was the oil. And it was in transit. An hour and a half later when I approached and asked what was going on they tried beating around the bush again. Finally when I called them out they said they drained my oil and realized they didn't have any in stock... Honest mistake I get it... But have some common courtesy and let somebody know what's going so they can make arrangements not leave them sitting for 4 hours

Not sure what service completed on my car. Was the oil changed/recall completed? I had to call them to check to see if my car was ready to pick up. I Dropped my SUV off at 755a I know they closed at 4p per the website but they close at 1p. A Very nice gentlemen help me get my car keys becuz when I arrived service was closed. effective communication is the key to good customer service, over all good team with minor adjustments needed.

Everyone there was very nice and helpful I just didn't like the fact that I bought a 2017 vehicle with 30,000 mi and I had to buy brand new tires 2 days afterwards because they were so slick that I slid everywherethe service guy said the tread was very bad he was surprised that they didn't put different tires on there before selling it but I was the one who had to pay for it not very happy

Part One- Arrived, was greeted and found my name listed on the board at the reception. My appointment was for 2:30, I arrived at 2:40. The person I was there to see, Tonya, had five appointments listed from 2:30 to 3:30, not sure how she was going to work with all us within an hour. I really did not mind initially because I was just there to discuss possibilities. The person who greeted me offered me a drink, I accepted, and he handed me a warm Pepsi out of the mini fridge. A couple of more minutes went by and reception paged Tonya again (because she told me she did not believe the first guy did it right) and then she came out. I started working with Tonya, (who kept calling me girl like she knew me) and within a few minutes Ryan came over, introduced himself and asked for my keys to see my car. He went to see my car and came back with my registration. He had taken it out of my (very messy glove compartment) which means he dug through my things to get it. Tonya came back, I talked with her a little more (as her other appointments arrived, she would get up to greet them). The second time Tonya left to greet her guest, Gary came over to introduce himself and then he asked me again for everything that I had already discussed with Tonya, who he called Amber a couple of times. While talking with Gary, Josh (who is only a couple of feet away sitting behind the desk with several other people), behind the desk begins yelling over to me about my trade in and my very personal credit history. I looked around and asked him to just tell everyone my situation- this may have been the moment that Josh decided he would really show me- oh well. The fourth time Amber/Tonya came back, I told her about what just happened and then I watched and listened to her go over and tell Josh what I said. Josh barely looked at her while she was talking to him (I guess she was trying to be discreet) and Josh shrugged his shoulders like so what and continued to work. I remained seated where I was close to Josh and the other guys at the desk, while listening to their comments about all things- some not totally appropriate for customers- maybe they need some personal space to talk freely, IDK. As their voices got lower, Josh came over to apologize for blurting out my personal business and speaking loudly in general. I did tell him it was okay, because based on how he shrugged Amber/Tonya off, I was surprised he would even think to acknowledge his behavior. Another 30-40 minutes went by, at one point I offered to come back since Amber/Tonya was so busy. While I was sitting there, my old car dealership emailed me to thank me for my inquiry and said they would be calling me soon-Strange because I never contacted them. Eventually she came around and told me that Josh was finished with my application and that she had a car to show me, she loaded me into a white 2019 Buick (I told her I wanted a used car) and after actually taking a screwdriver to unscrew the license plate holder to add the dealer plate (never seen anyone do this for a test drive) sent me on my way alone to test the car out (never experienced this when trying to buy a car, but I figured she was just too busy to assist). I was in need of a car back in January of this yea...

I was in need of a car back in January of this year 2020 and wanted to build my credit in the process so I came to them. I was there for 9 hours only to walk away with a 2013 Malibu. Not the best but ok. The very same day I noticed I didn t have a spare tire or jack. I contacted them to let them know and was told they ll get me 1, only to get a tire that was too big, then was told they ll find me another 1, never did they do that. Also the very next day I went to start the car up and it just kept starting then finally started up, yep very frustrating and embarrassing with a 30 day plate and I just bought the car yesterday, so I called them and told them what was happening, was told to bring it up there to be checked out, I did that when I got there the salesman I got the car from got in and the car did the exact same thing. They couldn t find anything wrong with it as they say. I have brought the car back plenty of times over the last 8 months since I had it, even let them keep it over the weekend for the same reason but they never found nothing as they say, which is funny because it kept doing it. Anyways the car does it every once in a while. Now this time when I took it back for an oil change it was working fine, only to be sitting outside during COVID waiting for my car which I was told an hour which I was fine with that, but I waited over an hour only to be skipped over and people that came in after me was leaving before me, so I said something and was told they must of mixed the papers up and they taking my car next. Ok things happen, about 10 minutes if that my car was done. Yay got in it and drove away only for my engine light to come on and it started cutting off on me when I come to a complete stop. Called and was told to bring it in the morning on a Saturday, I did that, then was told to bring it Monday when I got there Saturday so I did that. The Mechanic called rudely wouldn t let me talk and just kept talking over me and told me after leaving the car with them that my car needed to be UPDATED and said like a phone gotta be updated a car does too and next time I m gone have to pay for it (Never heard of that). I got the car back after them doing the so called update and engine light was off and never came back on but my car is still cutting off on me which is embarrassing and frustrating, Called and spoke with Keith and he told me to bring it up to him when I get off this Friday and I did. I went in and looked really stupid cause he didn t even work that day so now I feel like they playing in my face. I asked for corporate number and to speak with a manager only for them to tell me no manger is there and they don t have a corporate. I pay $500 to $700 some months for a car I can t even depend on which is why I came to them because I needed a car and wanted to build my credit, but yes they took advantage of me and gave me some messed up car. This is the very reason I dislike big places like them because they just there to make money, mainly if your credit ain t too good they gone take advantage of u. This is my very first experience. I d be better off going to a small car lot that doesn t report and building my credit elsewhere.

I arrive there with intent to meet Zip (great salesman he had me laughing wothin the first 3 minutes). He was the one who reached out to me because my lease was about to be up on my 2016 Buick Verano. Zip introduced me to Paris who was also great & funny. Zip did all the computer work and pulled the car I was interested in which was a 2019 Buick Encore. Paris and I went for the test drive & I LOVED IT. After great conversation and a long wait pizza and breadsticks I went to see Walter. Walter got all the financial logistics together (he even took a pet call whole I was in the room and got a better deal) I walked away with the SUV i wanted. My experience was long but worth it. I didn t mind the wait at all. Everyone that I was working with was awesome and very helpful. No complaints.
