Hello,

Normally I don't write reviews, good or bad, but this experience has made me fire up my computer and write. Do not shop at this overpriced joke of a dealership. Apparently you need an IQ of less than 50 to work there. We told Clay Wade, the "sales manager", and Scott Harp, his assistant, our vehicle and price requirements no less than three times and they didn't get it. First they brought us the wrong car...we had one requirement, that it had a third row seat. The first car they brought us did not have a third row seat, after waiting 45 minutes after our scheduled appointment to see the first vehicle. The next two were fine cars but were way over budget come to find out. The one I wanted to buy, the price went up three times from the original price they told me. First they told me one price, then it went up a thousand and then when they finally brought over paperwork with a price, three hours after our scheduled appointment (we only really looked at 2 cars), it had gone up another thousand. I reminded the Clay of our budget and told him we weren't going over so we waited another half a hour for him to tell us no, our budget wasn't going to work. Mind you, our budget was $500 more than bluebook suggested retail value and I was not financing the car. They were asking $4500 more than suggested retail bluebook value. I thanked Clay and Scott for completely wasting 3.5 hours of my time, especially since I had to buy on Saturday and they had now wasted a majority of my day. The only worthwhile part of the experience was the free can of pop I got out of the visit. I ended up buying a better, higher valued car, in budget at a competing dealership so if you want to overpay and spend hours at a dealership, visit Ray Skillman Buick on Washington and ask for Clay Wade. I advise to drive a little further down the street.

My credit is not the best, so as I have started to rebuild i have dealt with getting what i can afford not what I have wanted. Tyler assured me that he could come up with a plan to get me in the car I wanted, at a payment and price that I could afford. I told him what I wanted and he gave me a target down payment. He stayed in constant contact to help and make sure if a better deal on what I wanted came along. Now I am in a way newer car, the one I wanted and am so happy. The best part is that I know i can afford it and not feel guilty or ashamed to be rebuilding my credit. Never did I feel pressured to buy the car and he understood that it had to be the right fit, he could have pushed a different car just to make that sale but, my happiness was number #1. If you know you are not in the best place credit wise and knew you will need a new car, talk to Tyler, he will tell you honestly what it will take to get where you want to be. This is what a dedicated salesperson should be.

Timing belt was going out on my GMC Terrain, they got me in around 11am, diagnosed and repaired by 5:30 same day!! Great communication during the process. On a side note the extended warranty was well worth the $$ spent upfront!

The Service Department at Ray Skillman Northeast is the best! I would not take my Enclave anywhere else. I trust Ron, Karl and the whole team of mechanics. They are honest, fair and great people all the way around. I tell everyone about them! Great job everyone!

We chose this dealership for two reasons, the sales person and the service department. We met Mrs. Pancake a two years ago while in a preliminary search for a vehicle. Although we chose not to purchase a vehicle at that time, she made a great impression. Enough that we purposely sought her out. She was fun (Sassy Flapjack) and personal. We have another GMC vehicle that we purchased from the same location (previous dealer). The current service department was fair and prompt. Joe and Tom in the finance department were great too! They wanted our business and made it happen with a great deal. We appreciate the extra work and time it took to make the deal happen. In our case credit was not an issue, just the overall payment. Most people are leary of dealerships typically they just seem seedy, but this dealership is awesome because of the people.

Had my car in for service. The airbag light was on . Karl the service manager told us he would work with us on the cost. They charged me 110.00 to remove a cd case out from under the drivers seat. How much more crooked could you get. Never taking my car back there again.

It's just an oil change however it is nice to have...

It's just an oil change however it is nice to have a service dept. to drop it off at and return later and it's ready. You know people I can trust.
The service writer is always helpful and gets his part done quickly so I can move on.

Ray Skillman on East Washington, has two of the best, professional financial salesman who deserve to be bragged about: Zip Macklin and George Ezel. These gentlemen provided a remarkable experience in car buying, which sadly has become a rarity to have such a wonderful experience in. Zip and George took pride in the quality and time that was spent, even though it was an extremely busy Saturday, they never made me feel rushed or ignored in all of my questions and concerns. I felt at ease and comfortable with their expertise in car buying/financing, and the manner of how well they explained it all. But most of all, i am pleased with how personable they were, we laughed and joked with small talk, like we were long time friends. Thankyou Zip and George (aka Levi)

I RECEIVED GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RAY SKILLMAN(7550 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46219) FOR ANYONE LOOKING INTO GETTING A NEW VEHICLE.... HORRIBLE DEALERSHIP AND GENERAL MANAGER ASHLEY SKILLMAN HALTOM. RAY SKILLMAN AS A COMPANY IS UNETHICAL AND VERY DISRESPECTFUL UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY. I MADE ONE PHONE CALL TODAY AND THEY BLOCKED MY CALL BECAUSE ASHLEY DIDNT LIKE THAT I CALLED THERE COMOANY OUT ON THERE MISTAKES. IGUESS THIS IS HOW THEY TREAT ALL VETERANS AND MILITARY MEMBERS.IF YOU WANT DEALERSHIP WHO DOESNT HONOR HYUNDAI ASSURANT PROGRAM THIS IS THE COMPANY. MY CAR HIT POT HOLE AND HAS 750 DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE IN TOTAL WITH ALL DAMAGE WHICH WE OFFERED TO PAY FOR AND THEY STARTED MAKING UP.LIES THAT THEY COULDNT TAKE VEHICLE BACK CAUSE NOW THERE GONNA HAVE TO TITLE VEHICLE USED WHEN THE CAR ALTEADY HAD 500 MILES ON IT SO IT CANT BE TITLED NEW ANYWAYS. This is the 2nd vehicle I have purchased from Ray Skillman. Jen Howard is very helpful and knowledgeable. She made sure I was taken care of. Everyone was very nice. Definitely recommend going there.

After years of complaining about the same engine, steering, and transmission issues with our 2008 Buick Enclave, your masterful service department magically comes up with the problem...after the warranty is out. Now you want $4000. Shame on you and the obvious ploy you and General Motors are practicing. You never went to bat for us with GM and have washed your hands of the issue. This is now what I expect from GM and Ray Skillman. And believe me, absolutely everyone I come in contact with through my business dealings and social media will hear of my experience with GM and the Ray Skillman dealership. We are especially outraged now that we have done some digging online and discovered that all the issues we have had over the years, are the top complaints about this particular model. Many have even been included in specific GM service bulletins. Of course we have always been told you never heard of these issues before, or it was normal for the car to act this way. Can you say "Lemon Law", State Attorney General, Better Business Bureau, Facebook, Blogs? We will be contacting all in due time. As far as I'm concerned, you have but one last chance to contact us to try to right a wrong. Of course I'm fairly sure you will read this and simply chalk it up to a customer who you can't retain, so why bother

Salesman was knowledgeable and gave us options to choose from. He didn't pressure us at all but was there to answer our questions. The entire team was courteous and made the process as easy as possible!

My father, who happens to be an older gentleman, took his car in for a light on his dashboard that kept coming on even though they claimed to have fixed it one other time. $3000 later they convinced him of other things he needed done. They claim to have changed his oil but somehow he was down 2 quarts of oil two weeks after the oil change. They also claimed to have fixed an oil leak, so why was he down 2 quarts of oil. INCOMPETENT workers. Do not take your car there!

Staff was friendly. I am pleased with the work they did on my car. The one small issue I had was that I left my car with them at about 8 am and I still had not been contacted to pick up my car at 4pm. I finally called them. They did get my car done the same day.

My experience.with Ray Skillman Dealership was as usual a very pleasant one. This is. Y third time purchasing with Ray skillman and that is absolutely because I feel like family. I was won over again from the minute I pulled up on the lot. I didn't think the The service could exceed the previous visits but it gets better every time Thanks for making me feel a part of the Ray Skillman family.

Other dealers include tire rotation with an oil change for the same price. Also, some of your dealerships say to change oil every 5,000 miles yet this dealership says change oil every 4,000 miles. Your dealerships should all be on the same page.

Great service team. Jason was honest about what was needed, what could be done, and what he would do. did not try to shove service I did not need but offered them instead. As an old mechanic, that was refreshing. Definitely my new service team. Thx Karl and Jason!
