This experience has been the BEST experience I've had going to a car dealership! Kasey Johnson and Kathy Pancake were the best on getting me into a car that I love, made sure it was a reasonable purchase and actually cared about my situation instead of putting me into any car just to get a sell. I really appreciated this experience. They gave me knowledge & advice about my purchase and couldn't be any happier! I felt like they were my family instead of strangers I just met. When you have genuine people like them to help you out and give you the best advice to make sure you're making the best decision, it makes everything so much easier and I did not stress at all thanks to them! Yeah dont even get me started on theese crooks. They sold me a wrecked car without telling me it was damaged. So now my hood has to be strapped down becauseit was not repaired properly. It looked good when i bought it but less then 9 months later the hood tries to fly up on the highway

The sales team is Excellent but the service department is horrible. I purchased a 2014 in 2017. The dealership agreed to fix some minor repairs at purchase. Needless to say, the vehicle is still not fully functional. I took the vehicle in at least four times for the same repair. Then my vehicle was side-swiped after sitting on the property for 1 1/2 weeks. I recently discovered another "fix" isn't working again. Instead of apologizes, I received the run-around. I haven't had the vehicle 3 months. I am disgusted by the service department so I am contacting another dealership for assistance (as recommended by the service manager). Geez!!!
They will give you the run around for about 10 different things instead of telling you upfront what is need and they will make you Jump through hoops that are almost impossible for you to do I will NEVER recommend this Ray Skillman no matter what to anyone.
I have revised an earlier review as I feel the current RaySkillman team has really improved on the experience of buying and servicing a car here. They are always happy to squeeze in a last minute service appointment. Jason in service is great. I will be back for future car purchases and service.

First time getting my vehicle serviced here.
After checking in, and settling into the lounge the service advisor approached me. He then badgered me about why I wanted to get my vehicle serviced, and why I wanted that service done at that dealership. I explained that the service was overdue on the vehicle and that I get my GMC serviced at GMC dealerships, but that answer wasn't good enough for him. VERY disrespectful, a customer sitting by me got up and left after watching how he talked to me.
What a horrible way to conduct business.
I highly suggest not bringing your vehicle here. I do not recommend this place.
They told me I had been pre-qualified at Ray Skillman Greenwood. I didn't want to drive down south so I decided to go to the one on east Washington. I thought they would be able to pull up all of the information that I had gave the Greenwood location however they said that they could not do that. They had checked my credit about 7 times within a week. The finance guy did not even want to see me at first because of my credit. When he did come out to talk to me he was trying to tell me that the deal he offered me was the best for my circumstances. When I turned it down he told me that I would not find a better deal. Maybe I should have went to Greenwood. Everyone seemed uptight very unprofessional.
I was told by Onstar to call Ray Skillman N.E.GMC and get an update on my truck's Wifi system. I called Saturday morning and they got my truck right in. That was amazing on a Saturday. Very prompt service.That is unheard of on a Saturday and was shocked at how fast they took care of it without an appointment. This is why I will only deal with the Ray Skillman Organization.

I had Tyler as a salesman and he made a normally tiring and long process of buying a car a great experience! I told him my budget and he didn't try to get it higher or mess around. I had my 3 year old and 18 month old with me and the people inside gave them coloring books and were very patient with them especially with them being bored! Highly recommend this place to anybody.
The assistance given to my daughter and myself was outstanding. I will return in the future for service and as a "future faithful buyer". Our sincerest thanks to all involved in our purchase.

When I looked at the vehicle I decided to purchase I had a couple of concerns with it, which were that there were some chips in that paint on the hood and that the struts were making a little noise. They told me that the struts were fine and that they'd fix the chips in the paint, so I purchased the vehicle. After I got the chips in the paint "fixed" it didn't look nice at all and it didn't last more than a month because the paint has peeled off yet again. I called to see if they would do anything about it and they were very rude to me and said that their mechanics wouldn't do a "bad touch-up on the paint." The struts continued to make noise too so I took it to get looked at and the mechanic told me that they needed to be replaced even before I had purchased the vehicle. Overall I am very dissatisfied with they way I have been treated and will take my business elsewhere when buying a different vehicle.
They take forever! It took them 3 hours just to tell me what was wrong with my car I should have just ran it up to autozone.
It was great I went to Ray skillman to get my wife a car for her birthday and surprise her and I got surprised while I was there I had a trade in didn't need it drove away with no money down here's a great day thank you Ray skillman Tyler was my salesman he was very good so was the financial advisor at the end real good people did a great job thank you a wife's very happy and so am I

We have been going to Skillman's for over 8 years. We bought two used vans at the South location ,which we love and have been driving for 3 years with no problems. We have all of our service done at the Northeast location. Over time we have been to other dealers only to be very disappointed in the quality of repairs and service.
Skillman Northeast Service Center has given us honest quality service on every appointment. The mechanic's are very skilled and well trained.Skillman service writers are also experienced and take time to understand the service that is needed. They always make sure the job is done timely and correctly, there is never any gray areas between the service department and me, the customer. Skillman's always work hard to understand and fix the problem, if they can t they are always honest with the recommendation. The charges are in line with other service dept and at times way below what others would charge.
I want to add I judge a company by the attitude of the employee I am directly doing business with. Skillman employees are always attentive, polite,honest and pleasant to meet.

I was interested, bought, and returned a 2007 Pontiac Vibe from this location. This experience is the WORST experience that I have ever had in purchasing a car. The "product specialist" had no idea about the vehicle and constantly talked the entire test drive. I was then handed off to David Shimmell to close the deal. David lied three times about mandatory add-ons. First it was the Ziebart protection that had already been put on the car and so that increased the price. Once the financing was approved he showed me the financing amount that was 1200 over the agreed price. He said it was the mandatory GAP insurance and warranty that the bank was requiring. After questioning him, he came back with the original price and said it was included. Then when he brought the purchase agreement out the total price of the the deal was 3,000 more than agreed. He said it was the mandatory gap and warranty. I told him I was not paying that for the car because it was not worth it and either we needed to change the deal or I was walking. He went and got his finance manager to talk with me. They kept trying to talk payments. I was not interested in the payment amount because I would be paying this off quickly. He removed the warranty and gap and I signed the new purchase agreement. There was an issue with a paystub apparently and they had to wait to sign the finance papers. I drove the car home. Once I was home, I really did not like how I was dealt with. I called the next day and was lied to by the sales manager. I then talked with the general manager and was told accurate information. I told them that I would get the car checked out before I signed anything. My mechanic checked out the car and said it looked good. I signed the paperwork the next day. Two days later I noticed oil spots on my driveway. I insisted they take back the car. After being told that I did not know what I was talking about, they agreed to the return. A week later the loan still has not been reversed and is showing on my credit report. So they will see my lovely face again tomorrow! Pray for them!!

Ever since I purchased my from Ray Skillman Northeast, I have had nothing but great service from Kathy Pancake, Miranda and Kathy Cutsaw. The service dept has provided me with great service as well.
Disappointed! After speaking to Amber while leaving work, she informed me that the car I was interested in was there and I could test drive it. I drove to the east side of town from the west side to test drive the car. After waiting for Amber for a few minutes she passed me off to Kyle. Kyle couldn't locate the car and said that it might have been sold He had me sit there for a few min in order to look for the car. Not once did Amber apologize about the whole situation and she walked passed me twice. I will not be back! Bad customer service!

I just can't remember his name at the moment.
My only issue was having a crack in my wind shield that I was told Ray Skillman would fix. However, when the windshield company came to my home they advised it had already been filled so there was nothing to be done. That's not cool because now I feel misled. The chip is small, but if the sun hits it just right it shoots off a glare that makes it more noticeable, not to mention distracting while driving. Since its something that I'm told I have to live with it could make a difference in whether or not I purchase from this location again in the future.
The staff is extremely nice and I love the vehicle otherwise, hence my 5 star rating!

Sales people were prompt, courteous, etc. But being our 1st time in the showroom and while speaking to a sales person, another employee sitting in the general area, was applying make-up, hair spray or perfume. The entire time we were in there! Not impressed that they allow this kind of behavior on the sales floor or even at work during work hours! Not professional!

They send them home with you as if they were brand new, and they make sure they run and look brand new. The service department is very clean comma friendly and very upfront with the fees you will be charged for the maintenance of your vehicle. Their prices are very fair and they will never steer you wrong. I recommend this business to everybody I know it was looking for a good vehicle.

We buy a vehicle from the place and in less than a month the truck needs an oil change and they charge me full price to get it changed. This place does not exactly make u feel welcome. Never again!!!

They got my info from some fishing company they use and called me and setup a appointment they asked me what vehicles I was interested in I not only gave her (Liz ) three different model vehicles I was interested in year and price range , and on the call I told her they didn t have a wide selection of the vehicles I was looking for online Liz then assured me they had 15 dealerships with plenty of stock that doesn t get listed she reassured me they had several models of the vehicle I was interested in. I then told her I work 12 hr shifts my only day of was Saturday and I would hate to drive a hour and 10 minutes with gas at $2.84. Needless to say I made the long drive in some pretty bad weather to be greeted at the dealer like I was a stranger with no appointment then the first thing the salesman tried to do is run my credit. I tell him to stop and ask him where the particular vehicles I was interested in was at he starts laughing and says I sold that to my buddy yesterday. I then sit for a hour for them to tell me none of there car lots have any of the three cars I was looking at and that they pretty much wasted my time and all they could say is we dropped the ball. Then as I m leaving the salesman makes a sly comment laughing. I give this place a zero no stars customer service is horrible and they didn t even offer me a gas card for wasting my time after all there failed assurances.

Terrible! Im never one to write reviews and even take the time too. But man we left there mad! I was originally dealing with a girl and made an appt. She told me one thing and when I got there and she was out sick they sent us to a guy named Tony. OH my goodness. So rude! He was so snotty, I felt like he looked at us and judged us from minute number one. I told him what Samantha told me, had to go through the whole process again and took forever. At this point I was already mad and having a 3 month baby with me they took their time. To sum it up he came back and said he could only get us into one car. We wanted a reliable family car. He cAme back with an 04 Saturn Vue with 120k miles and smelled so bad like smoke. I said No and he said ok bye. Sooo rude. Not willing to work with us at all. So we took our business elsewhere and walked out in a newer Jeep Commander. Go to NE Mazda and ask for Travis or Jordan. Two nice guys that'll help you out.
