Radisson Suite Hotel Rancho Bernardo Review

This hotel is beautiful, clean, and committed to your comfort. The best part is that it is affordable! The staff are friendly and helpful. The bed and bedding are so comfy I had a difficult time getting up in the morning.
The rooms are clean. They have wonderful hotel soaps and personal care items the room. The bedding was a down type comforter with down type pillows. Everything smells clean and wonderful. They have a nice TV with plenty of stations if that's your thing.

The pool is located in a courtyard, protecting it from wind, which is very nice. However, it is a little small with early hours, closing at 9. That's a little disappointing. However, the pool area is pleasant, clean, and the water is heated to the perfect comfort level. Their hot tub is large enough and hot enough to be relaxing.

They have an amazing complimentary breakfast which includes items like scrambled eggs (not the watery gross kind), crispy bacon, tater tots, pancakes, yogurt, fresh ripe fruit, cereal, juice, etc.

The staff were very professional and courteous as well as genuinely friendly. We came in very late our first night and were welcomed by smiling friendly staff. It made us feel right home. Its because of them that we extended our stay.

I travel every couple months to different states and haven't stayed at a Radisson Hotel in some time. This visit reminded me of what I've been missing. I till appreciated my stay as a weary traveler. We were exhausted, and once we came here, we were able to recharge.

Have been staying at this hotel on a regular basis for quite some time now.

Rooms are neat and clean
Staff is very good

Accommodations fine but EXTREMELY noisy in the morning near pool and restaurant if sleeping in is a priority AVOID

The cook at the restaurant was so nice. I am allergic to Diary products and he recognised it and provided special care

The hotel was advertised as having a spa bath. It does not!!! When I asked for a full refund the General manager Steven Lee told me I was out of line & he was calling the cops. A hotel like this I would hope had cameras in the lobby, & I challenge you to watch the footage. I'm scared of these people & how dare a hotel hire someone like this. I sat in my room for 2 hours scared of this guy who clearly has an abusive background. It was a crazy Twilight zone that I do not recommend. I'm also done with booking.com I will never allow anyone to treat me this way. False advertisement is your business not mine.

Did a lot of research looking for a hotel to accomodate my 2 adult children and myself at a reasonable price. Settled on this hotel. I know I will not stay here agsin. What kind of hotel doesnt have a microwave oven in the room? Also the breakfast buffet is not included and costs $11.80. That is outrageous for what was offered. Lessons learned on what to look for on the next trip.

Very close to several major companies. I attended a professional event in two event halls, with food and drinks at the bar. The bar was pretty decent, just a typical hotel bar plus some local sd craft brews. The event halls were also good enough for the speaking function held.

Absolutely loved this hotel. It's location and amenities will definitely make it a go to for my next visit. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are very nice. I was also very impressed with the quality and taste of the buffet breakfast.

Better than most business focused in terms of service and attention to detail. The hotel restaurant is very pricey though.

Stayed here during my move, best hotel in RB hands down..

Quiet Location, Clean Rooms and Pool, Very Pleasant Staff!

Pros: Nice hotel, clean, spacious, aesthetically pleasing design, and very well furnished rooms. Big parking lot. Great service from front desk. Cons: No microwave, sounds echo in hallways, and no hotel hairdryer.

The staff were professional and helpful. I wish somehow we could have breakfast as well but became of corona it was not available. The parking spaces are plenty.

Stayed here as a guest with a colleague. After having an awful day the staff turned my entire day around. Upon check out the same incredible staff member Julian greated me with a smile and a few great jokes that got my day going. He is defiantly a key point of the hotel keep an eye out and ask him for a joke. The hot tub was amazing, the food is to die for. Try the tacos if you are looking for a mind blowing expirence. The only complaint is its hard to find a spot to plugin a phone.

The hotel is nice. Has a great view of the valley and is close to near by businesses, which is great for business travel. The breakfast is solid and the dinning area has good atmosphere. My only issue is the TV in the room is a bit small for the space.

Visiting local business, offered some upgrades..Free drink.. my room already had free breakfast...King size room, hi speed internet , very comfortable.. Check-in was fast and easy. Breakfast was great...

Comfortable and clean rooms. Great value for the price. Complementary hot breakfast is always a plus. Clean pool, comfy beds, close to everything... Can't complain about any of that!

The room I stayed on was humungus for our family since we have 6 people!

Stayed here one night for staycation with the bestie. Nice and clean rooms, interesting patterns on the carpet, small bathroom, clean towel but a little old (lol). Clean bed but interesting furniture arrangement which did affect my sleep a little lol. Never used room service and housekeeping so cannot say much. Overall, okay place to stay for a good price ( 77 when i booked on a saturday).

Did my son's 1st birthday there, and the whole staff was nothing short of amazing. We were hosting this event, being from out of town, and we were a little skeptical of the way things would turn out, but Ken ( Sales), Kathleen (sales) and Joseph ( event manager) all made sure our event was nothing but the best! Thank you for making this one of our precious memories!

Very nice hotel rooms are very good size & very clean. Everyone here is very nice. Nice Court yard area.

Everyone who works here is really nice and helpful!!! Personally I did not enjoy the breakfast as much, what can I say? I'm a complainer. The sausage is the only meat option. The waffles soggy ..the restaurant is only open 7AM-11AM, and I don't think they serve any other food besides the buffet untill after they reopen at 5pm-10pm. The room was big and beds were very firm like a soft rock, which i like. Also fluffy pillows!

There really isn't that much info for breakfast, so I will just write what is here from my visit of May, 2018.

Breakfast breads (muffins, bagels, English muffins, etc no biscuits), Juices, cereal, Scrambled eggs, Scrambled egg whites, chicken sausage links, waffles(no pancakes) potatoes(very small and square, size of dimes), oatmeal w/toppings, coffee, whole fruits, and chopped seasonal fruits.

So, yes. There are options, but No bacon is just sadness and so is soggy waffles...and no yogurt. It's $10.99 for the buffet and i it isn't free if you book with a third party unless you make sure it's. So, make sure. Don't be confused if there are no plates because they aren't there for you to grab. The person working behind the bar will give you a plate. There is a bar, and it looks like a full bar but idk.

Great location on a hill with a view. Rooms were clean and fashionable. Restroom was great. The bed was very comfortable and we slept great!

Well worth the price. The parking spaces are very tight - many people had to park on top of the white lines. The treadmills in the fitness room were broken. The gardening is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Clean rooms, helpful service. They did accommodate for a late check in which was helpful. A little bit over priced for their breakfast.

I stayed at this hotel for a conference through Aglow International. The staff was courteous, helpful and kind. The breakfast was delicious, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. A very positive experience!

Amazing room, bar and restaurant area is also great.

The room was very clean with plenty of amenities. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. I especially enjoyed the sauteed vegetables which were restaurant worthy.

Clean, well-appointed rooms. Good facilities. Ample parking. We were on the third floor so didn't hear much noise but could hear everything clear as day 8f someone was talking while they walked by.

It was extremely easy to pick up my family members from this hotel. They all had a very pleasant experience there!

The hotel was pretty nice. Customer service was great. Nice size swimming pool and jacuzzi. Not to far from San Diego Zoo and Sea world. It was a pleasant stay.

The hotel is older, with a moderate face-lift. The bathrooms and hallways show their age. Layout is confusing. Ice machines, stairways, etc not marked on the map provided.

Room was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was good. Resteraunts within walking distance.

Was disappointed that breakfast was not included when booked on expedia. This should be stated on expedia before booking. Was under the impression breakfast was included. $12 person is a bit pricey for breakfast. Room was nice

They cheet u out of your money, the rooms are dirty. Dont stay if u want to lose your money and dont want to sleep in dirty rooms.

P.S dont use there phones its like 15 per use

I forgot my iPhone in the room I stayed at and I called and notified them and they told me they have it. I asked them to mail it to me and they charged me almost $20 and when I received my phone in the mail the finger print button was smashed and my iPhone was dripping water. So not only they broke my phone, they also dipped it in water to make sure it doesn't work at all. Thanks to whomever it was that did this to me for absolutely no reason at all. I was the nicest quest they've ever have had. Would I go back to Raddison hotel ? Absolutely YES. Just not the same location.

It was a nice place. It's only 4 stars because this visit I was with my family and they placed us right above their banquet rooms. I thought it was bad planning and foresight on their part. Also the drain plug in the bathtub was broken. Should have been checked before booking the room.

Super soft pillows and a firm but comfortable bed. However the windows face the walkway for other hotel guests which forces the windows closed all the time.

Great hotel with clean, comfortable room and excellent facilities. Staff were nice and very accomodating.

The location is by commercial buildings. Front desk was kind. They offer free WiFi and breakfast. They have a bar in the middle with TV which was good.

Decent hotel with no major problems, but several small disappointments. No fridge or microwave in the room. Mediocre breakfast. Dirty grout between tiles in the shower. Hotel standard below-window A/C unit is rather noisy. On the plus side, i liked the loofa and large array of shower soaps provided.

Last minute reservation, actually booked the wrong overnight but they fixed it no problem. Nice and spacious rooms.

Older hotel with outside room doors, outdoor heated pool and hot tub. Breakfast is NOT complimentary. Rooms are newly remodeled and large, and the towels are fantastic!!

Almost perfect Only they need to improve in the shower water is thrown and it is uncomfortable.

Friendly service, room was nice enough but the refrigerator didn't work and there was a hole in our bathroom wall. But all in all I like the quiet area it is located in, the staff in the restaurant was friendly.

The parking was terrible due to a large party. The front desk clerk was delightful and rooms were nice.

5 stars because this lady Katie went above and beyond to make me and my family feel welcomed. She helped us out with finding good food and spoke to us with welcoming arms after a long drive. She made are accommodations a priority. She was fast and friendly and knew what she was doing. Anyone coming here ask for Katie she is the best. The other lady I think her name starts with an a was rude and needs a course in manners badly.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. It was nice to have a choice if pillows. The air worked great. It would have been nice to have a fan in the bathroom plus the water pressure in the shower was very low.

Great Groupon deal. Location of the room was ok, faced the parking lot. Room is very spacious. No breakfast. But availavle to purchase. Staff was very nice and kind. I love the room. Had a refrigerator. Parking was easy. Close to food, shopping and dining and a 20 minute drive to the sight seeing places like Seaport Village, very close to the zoo...would ABSOLUTELY stay again. Forgot to mention the cleaniliness of this place. Enjoyed our 1 night stay.

I would give it more stars but one thing that really bugged me about this hotel was the fact that the bath towels were stored on and immediately next to the toilet. Just seemed unsanitary, toilets splash when you flush them and no one wants to dry themselves with towels that are covered in toilet water.

Toilet must be flushed multiple times not sure if pressure or broken. No towels at all? Sorry but I don t want to go back down to get towels after traveling a long distance and wanting to hit a shower right after.

Beautiful,clean hotel and close by beaches. I enjoyed my stay at the Radisson, I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. The continental breakfast was amazing!! Friendly staff that were helpful.

The hotel itself was pretty nice, its merely a motel turned into a hotel.

The only downside of this hotel is they take a deposit on your first day and do not give it back until 3-5 days AFTER you check out. Its funny how they can take it out in two seconds but can't give it back for days.
