Radisson Suite Hotel Rancho Bernardo Review

Rooms are big and spacious. The staff was very helpful. Room has all the amenities and everything was working.

Small room. Comfortable couch. No fan in bathroom...

I needed to spend a few nights at this hotel. The hotel has a good location close to main arteries, yet in a quiet zone. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully furnished. There is a restaurant by the pool which looks cozy. So you would say that this is a good place to stay. I would have said the same if I stayed just for one night. But if you stay more than one day and expect your room to be cleaned that s another story. I left the room before 10:00 AM and called the front desk asking to have my room serviced. When I returned at 3:00 PM the room was in the same condition that I left. When I called the front desk I was told that our top priority is to clean the rooms that becomes vacant . In other words if you have already paid for the room you are grandfathered to misery.

Went there for a professional event. Food was good. Quiet place in a. busy area. That's about as much as I can review

I've stayed at many five star hotels expecting excellence in customer service, only to be disappointed. I rarely stay at Radisson, so I was expecting ho-hum service, boy was I wrong. From the minute I checked in with my family, I received five star customer service. Every employee I encountered during my stay was fantastic. Service with a smile, hard to find these days.
The facility and rooms met all my expectations. I left this morning completely satisfied, and will definitely come back to this hotel next time I'm in the area.

Decent rooms, fairly modern with plenty of space. King room has a nice open area with couch and work desk. Nice pool area. Parking is a bit tight but there were spaces available when we needed it. Wifi is slow and has issues though.

Stains on fresh linens, AC unit is so loud you can't sleep, no privacy in the windows, but if you close the blinds completely you can't tell if it's day or night. And if you leave the window open you get woken up at 6 but the kitchen.

The rooms were clean and sizeable. The amenities were top notch.

Access off of I-15 is very convenient. Rooms are spacious and clean. Free parking is a plus, plus, plus. Staff are friendly. Rooms have a small refrigerator.

This hotel is an absolute nightmare. They agreed to book a large group of families for an event. Yet they failed to disclose this to other hotel guests, who complained as early as 7:00 on a Friday that the pool was too noisy. I was screamed at by one set of hotel guests after merely saying that all the kids had gone to bed and were no longer being noisy. The hotel staff was not apologetic and actually encouraged this behavior.
Another guest was guaranteed with a suite that did not exist when they arrived and were given drink coupons as a consolation that were not good for anything but bud light.
On top of it all, this is a crappy motel that has had a few upgrades to try to act like a hotel. It is not somewhere I would ever stay at again, and I highly suggest that anyone wanting to have a pleasant experience stay away.
Also, we had bugs in our bathroom

Hard to find with all adjacent street names starting with Bernardo. Not a place you'd vacation at. Intended for business travelers.

It was pretty good hotel overall i had a good time there along with my family

Everything was fine except for the lighting in the room. Dim lamps and the make up area had such a small light it was useless.

Exceptional property! Room was large, very comfortable beds, access to places to eat, very courteous staff, easy access to freeways and from freeways. Only one very minor complaint was no microwave in the room however there is one available in the lobby (for the quality of this property not a deal breaker by any means)! Strongly recommended!

It was a very hot day, but comfortable inside. The decoration and furnishing in the lobby and event room were inviting.

Great staff. Nice, helpful, and friendly. Only downside was we had 25 minutes left to check out and we had maid service knock on our door twice to see if our room was available.

A spill over hotel and your treated accordinly. There restaurants are useless and unwelcoming. Keep you hand on you wallet at this place !

Nice rooms. Fairy basic hotel but it does have a pool/hot tub, restaurant/bar, laundry rooms, fitness center. The hotel is quiet even though it is basically within a business park near a freeway. There are plenty of options nearby for food but nothing really in walking distance. Breakfast buffet in the morning, dinner menu below. Probably one of the closest hotels near the San Diego Zoo Safari Park (different than San Diego Zoo) and Westfield mall.

San Diego is such a beautiful county, this area is so quiet, so clean and everyone is so nice. The hotel is also clean quiet and comfy. The rooms are large and clean, staff is nice.

My first time at this Radisson and I have to say Rey was great at the front desk. I got the 2 room suite with a king. Spacious and was better than some of the other rooms I have stayed at.
The free breakfast had lots of Hot and cold choices and was delicious. I would recommend this Radisson location to all.

I am here on a three day stay with my family. Our bathroom was not cleaned but it was taken care of as soon as I pointed it out. We had complementary buffet during our stay this morning we got Togo boxes to take back to our room. Our daughter who is autistic forgot to put some cantelop in her box I went back to get a box to get her some cantelop and was made to feel like I was trying to steal food in front of other guests. Still have two more mornings to go and am think free breakfast isn't worth that kind of customer service.

It's tucked away inside of a business park. Might be off-putting as it looks like a motel. But the amenities are okay

Kinda lame. Toilet was leaking. Shower valve was leaking. Restaurant closed slightly earlier than posted time. Killing a lot of bees around where the pool is. Barely walking distance to any other place that sells food.

I'm here for day two of my Eleven day stay. The room is fine, bed is comfortable, but the layout of the place is a bit unusual. The only bad thing so far, is that there is no information about the hotel in the room. I have no idea where the workout ryis, or what hours it's open, same with he restaurant. There is a menu in the room, but when I called to ask about room service they said only for dinner.....that's info I would have really rather read about. I also had to call about if they had breakfast, where the restaurant was, where the pool was, the map of the place is poorly put together at best. I called the front desk and asked if there was any booklet I could get with hotel info and he said "no, we don't have anything like that". Then he started to tell me everything he knew about the place, which was nice but I don't wanna call someone everytime I would like some info about the place.

A bar in a regular hotel during a business trip. There aren't many kinds of alcohol, but the service of the staff is good. There is no problem for drinking a glass of beer before rest.

Clean, comfortable, mostly quiet (3 story exterior stairs and walkways / motel style building), and conveniently located. Housekeeping and restaurant staff are friendly and helpful.

I liked this place a lot but the rooms are not super accessible I had a lot of fun and the staff was super responsive. I would rate it a 4.5 because the surrounding area is really nice less than 20 minutes from mira Mesa and less than 30 to downtown San Diego. There is a Phil's bbq off the exit right before you turn onto the road the hotel is on. Very high standards set. Thank you guys

The hotel was very clean. There was many elevators available. The room was very spacious. I liked being able to park near my room. Only negative is the bed is not very comfortable.

Good stuff. Loved it all the way too the breakfast was amazing so very tasty, never had complementary breakfast that tasted so good. The young Lady named miss. Hailey was so kind and sweet and the chef came out and made sure everything was done good which it was.

Outdated rooms and an overall lack of feeling personal security within the rooms.

Crazy heavy room doors. On site resteraunt was expensive and staff was rude. In room menu does not mention 15% required gratuity and delivery charge! Bathroom tub was just normal size/small, nothing special. Water pressure was pretty low. Overall nice room but just not worth the price. Pool and hot tub were ALWAYS full just before they close at 10 which was annoying. Hotel staff was nice and everything is kept very clean.

One of the most peaceful and comfortable beds I have slept in. Cancelled another reservation to go back there. Bar food is actually made from scratch. A good surprise.

First, it's a MOTEL, not a hotel. Wouldn't have booked if we would've realized.
Second, rooms are a bit older, like 90s old.
Third, the staff was friendly and helpful.

Very comfortable accommodations. Pool was clean. Plenty of towels. The bar tender was friendly, and the front desk very helpful. The only complaint was the kitchen refused to make something about ten minutes before they closed. It wasn't right, but I can understand their side, as well.

Nice hotel, clean, good price and conveniently located. Some housekeeping staff needs retraining: don't go into rooms without knocking!!!
