It was an average experience. We stayed in a handicap room but there was no light at the mirror in the bathroom, kinda hard to shave without it. Other than that the beds were comfortable and it was a good night sleep...

I would give it a zero if that was an option. Asked for a handicap room and gave me one in the 2nd floor. Other room had a broken dresser, missing a handle. Shower barely had a trickle. Free breakfast but no utensils, glasses or plates

It's not the fanciest Radisson, far from it. But it's an older building and they remodeling a few months ago.

But what it does have going for it: great staff, lots of parking, and a decent pool.

You're treated really well, especially if you're a Club Carlson gold member.

Free breakfast, but it's just okay.

Comfy beds.

Stay away from this hotel - terrible all across. Staff behavior and accommodation were sub-human. We came late with our two kids and my parents and they didn't have a room suitable for the amount of people even though we specifically specified the numbers on our reservation. Instead of trying to help us they have asked for extra charge as a condition to letting us stay(?!). When we asked to speak to the manager (Stephen Lee), the manager threatened to call the police on us even though we were super cordial. We ended up canceling the reservation and moved to a different hotel.

They gave me a different room from what I have booked. Even though I have requested to shift my room they gave me again a room without 2 queen beds. They dropped a bill under our door which belongs to another person. Looks good in the website but does not meet expectations.

Although our stay is not til tomorrow, we were having some trouble finding our reservation. The young lady at the front desk, I believe her name was Sherri, was so very helpful and so super sweet!

Great location near many corporate offices. Friendly staff, and a good breakfast buffet. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars was that the bed was too firm for my taste and the pillows were too small

This place has alll that. A 5 star offers in my opinion. I believe u get what u pay for and here I feel I got more than expected. I didn t purchase breakfast with my room kinda number. But my 8 year old niece went down with me and while I was getting coffe and they gave her a free cereal and orange juice. Very hospitable. I will be staying again. The bed was a 20 star bed for comfort and same with sofa sleeper. Nothing bad to say. Great place great value don t settle for less.

I use it on my San Diego business trip. As room is large, and bath / toilet, desk are large, we think that we can spend without inconvenience.
We eat breakfast at the poolside building on the first floor. There are not many menus, but you can eat a typical American breakfast in a buffet style. There is also coffee that you can take home with you, and you will often see your email while drinking coffee after breakfast.
The parking lot is large and I don't think there is any trouble stopping it. Let them know you are coming by car at check-in and ask for parking paper. Must be on the dashboard.

It's quite out dated. Needs improvements. Clean and spacious rooms.

They keep trying to charge my credit card more than once without informing me, I spoke to the hotel staff and everyone seems to not know anything!!

This hotel is in the middle of everything. That's why we like it. 30 minutes one way to the pier or 30 minutes the other way to the golf course. They also have good rates. Is isn't a very swanky place but it'll do.

I loved that it has balconies. The place smelled funny, probably because of all the carpet. Nasty pop corn ceilings in the place. Continental breakfast but its kind of gross unless you have cereal or toast. There is a Starbucks across the street. Great freeway access and restaurants aren't too far. The pool and jacuzzi looked clean.

Not as upscale as one would usually expect of a Radisson hotel. Rooms were very aged and you could feel it. Dirty grout in the bathroom, stains on the bathroom walls, just didn't have any fit and finish to it. Felt more like a Motel 8 then anything. The pool was heated that's a plus, restaurant seemed nice, however little things like the noisy air conditioner that had 2 settings cold or freezing, just brought the overall experience down. Will likely stay somewhere else next trip.

It is not a luxury hotel but my wife and I love this place for the followings:
1) Its location up on a hill with a great view and a refreshing cool breezed 5 minute walk in the evening.
2) great gym with wired weight lifting system (for building golf swing muscles) beside stepping, cycling, running and tread machines
3) comfortable quality bed with light and warm goose down blanket and pillows
4) no extra hallway door to a spacious room (with proximity card that can stay in my wallet) which makes it feel more like apartment rather than a hotel for extended stay or with young children.
5) fast internet and easy check-in/out with friendly front desk folks

Was in San Diego for a day with my girlfriend so we spent the night here. It was pretty decent; room was clean, front desk was polite and great, breakfast was pretty good, the barman was very cool, pity I can t remember his name. Not to forget, it was a really decent price for one night with breakfast for 2. They even left a birthday card and complimentary drinks for my girlfriends birthday. Would definitely start again, if I m in the neighbourhood.

An excellent stay at a great price!

An excellent stay at a great price!

I needed to go down to Santee this weekend for a night. Places around that area looked sketchy, so I increased my searching area and found this place in Rancho Bernardo, about 25 mins away. We were able to get a really great deal ($108 a night) for a 2 queen room through TripAdvisor. At this price, I was not sure what we would get.

The hotel is right off the freeway, but tucked away from the noise in a business area atop a hill. Our check-in took a little bit because there were no clean rooms at the time (5pm). Also, their computers were down. However, about 15-20 minutes later, they had it all figured out and was able to get a room (they gave me 2 complimentary drink tickets at the bar, so that was nice, even if we don't drink).
The room was really spacious and clean. We have 2 kids under 8 and they loved the place, and we loved that they had room to wiggle without bumping into furniture (believe me, it happens a lot). The place was nicely decorated, and appointed with a chaise lounge and work desk / chair. The bathroom was clean, with a modern aesthetic. However, the beds were the highlight: Very comfortable and warm. We slept like logs!
There was a nice restaurant by the pool, but we didn't get to dine there this time. The pool was a little larger than an apartment sized one, but it worked for the amount of guests. We did a little night swimming before they closed it at 10pm. If you need hit the sheets before this time, I suggest not getting a room facing the pool as it can get loud. If your bedtime is past this time, then consider these rooms for sure.
Checkout was easy and without issue. We will definitely be back here. It's a bargain for what you get: great amenities and comfort at a very reasonable price.

Stayed here while in town for soccer. Parking and room proximity was odd, had to walk all the way around to reach our room. Bathroom sliding pocket door kept getting stuck, and I mean STUCK shut. My little kids were getting so scared and panicked, they are kids so not surprised. I even got stuck Everytime! My husband had to get you out if you shut the door. I called front desk and they offered to send someone but when you were at soccer all day and have tired kids who wants a man in our room using tools and invading my privacy. They should have offered to move us and our things or breakfast.... something. They were like ok sorry. I took video of myself getting stuck as well as kids yelling while we try to pry the door open. Then I called to ask for (tiny) 6 shampoo and 6 conditioner since I forgot mine, the supervisor Christian said he wasn't sure if that exceeded the eligible limit. I never heard of a limit nor given a hard time at any hotel ever which most hotels we use offer more than that if you forgot something. FYI too my daughter and I have hair that is over 20+ inches which is being grown to donate to locks if love. It is a complimentary item offered guest so why hassle me? Why does it bother them? All it did was leave a bad taste in my mouth and make me take note to never stay in a Raddison again. I'll stick to the others where we have been well taken care of.

Stayed in a garden suite near the adult pool - really amazing room with perfect bed. Pool amazing - salt water and warm. Good walks. Excellent if a little pricey dinner. Fantastic a la carte breakfast. Will return.

My group meets here once a month and we rent out one of the larger ballrooms. The staff is great and the cafe is so good. I have never had a bad or even close to negative experience here. It is easy access from the freeway but not so close that it makes the time bothersome.

The things that matter are done well: the bed is comfortable, the shower clean, and there's free internet. But this isn't a luxury stay - the furniture was tossable 10 years ago, and there are some very questionable stains on the couch.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! We have a sick baby and can t make it for our one night reservation and the lady was rude and wouldn t budge or help us. We ll be sure to never use another RADISSON. We travel for work and pleasure constantly and we ll be sure to tell friends and coworkers not to stay here either! Thanks for nothing. We ll choke on our money while our child screams with a fever.

The rooms were clean but small. The arrangement of the rooms within the hotel was confusing making it hard for us to find our rooms at night. But the rooms were comfortable and there were enough parking in the lot and it was free. The service was quick when we asked for another bath towel. Aside from the rooms being on the smaller side, confusing layout, and the crowded feel the hotel was comfortable.

No fault of the hotel, but this has been one of the hottest periods here, with three 105 degree days in a row.
However twice the aircondioning in my room has totally failed, with the LCD display completely blank. The last guy up here blamed "housekeeping." Problems happen, but it is up to the hotel to "own" the problems and fix them. I have stayed here multiple times before. This stay has been a disaster.
