I was lucky enough to have spent 7 nights @ The Rancho Bernardo Radisson. The room and ambiance made me feel like I was at a resort, yet close enough for my work 5miles away. The buffet was a cool value add and the new Chef is amazing. However the most memorable moment of my stay was the kindness and assistance we received from the Dev Patel at the front desk ( real cool guy) my 10 year old son was quite sick one morning and we went to front desk to inquire on a doctor . Dev was brilliant he went out of his way to connect us to the nearest doctor and the next morning even bought my son a chocolate and a milk.

It is these small gestures which make Dev and Radisson stand out.

Great Hotel and People.

After transferring from a horrible hotel, this was a breath of fresh air. Clean, friendly staff, nice facilities, and a short drive to downtown Rancho Bernardo. I'm definitely coming back for another extended business stay.

This is a pretty standard business hotel on the west side of rancho Bernardo. There is a small pool in the middle. It is close to the 15 highway. The hotel has shuttle that will dinner you to the nearby businesses and offices

Absolutely terrible checkin experience. I came for a 2 day meeting and was told there would be a $50 incendental fee that would be credited back at check out. Sounded totally normal. So I used my debit card.
I got to my room and get a receipt for $343 dollars in my email.....again I was told $50
Would be charged....$343 was charged.....
I go back to the counter and they tell me that whoever set up the reservation for my company got a incomplete credit card number so my card was charged for the total.
Terrible customer experience and an Absolute rookie mistake. They say they can t refund the money until they get the credit card number from whoever in my company has the cc number. Ridiculous!

The Radisson is great so far! The front desk staff and shuttle drivers were friendly and professional, and the room is clean and has everything I need for the work trip. The internet seems fast enough to play computer games as well. Free shuttle rides (within a certain distance) and free breakfast are a huge plus for me!

Nice hotel, easy to get to and great freeway access. I was just unfortunate enough to get stuck with a room that shared a wall with a public restroom that seemed to always have the door slamming. The same room was also 10 feet from the breakfast buffet and its noisy occupants, so unless you only need 4 hours of interrupted sleep a night, bring some ear plugs.

While the room was clean, I was a little disappointed at the unaddressed wear on the furnishings. The HVAC unit in the room was disabled (control knobs removed). It was a little chilly, and a towel stuffed up against the door helped minimize the cold air draft. The in room refrigerator was helpful, but a microwave was sorely missed.

Inedible breakfast full of carbs that were so overcooked and made with ingredients that scream obesity. The room was run down with a mattress that bowed in the middle. Broken hardware and even a door lock that didn t work. Itchy and hot poly cotton sheets along with no pillow selection. Will stay at the Holiday Inn down the road that has a more comfy bed (that place is rundown too) and a better breakfast and cheery staff. Good luck Radisson - you have a long way to catch-up with your competitors.

Worst experience ever. It started with the one new and slow receptionist that made checking in slow and hard. The hot tub does not exist. It is nothing but a cement hole...In my 2 day stay I was moved rooms 3 times. The first room we was moved for the thermostat being broken and the room being cold. In the second room we found a bed bug. DON'T STAY

It is crazy this place has the Radisson name. The first ac rattled and vibrated. The maintenance guy did his best, but could only replace the ac with another just as old unit that rattled and vibrated as much as the first one. I've stayed at better highway motels.

This is the best Raddison I have booked EVER! I am a bit of a prude when it comes to hotel cleanliness, location and service. Everyone here is great, the location is perfectly located and this is truly a beautiful hotel. I would recommend this Raddison to anyone needing to stay in the RB area.

The room I stayed was large studio room and was very well maintained. The hotel location itself is good, has a great ambiance and as its easily accessible from highway. We had requested for a microwave oven while booking and the staff was courteous enough to arrange one at the time of check in. The hotel doesn't provide complementary breakfast for all guests and depends on from which website your are booking, however they do have in house restaurant which offers discounted food service..

The parking lot is lined with such narrow parking spaces that compact cars were taking part of a second space to park. Many people were parking in the street rather than risk car damage in the parking lot. Outside the meeting rooms there's always so much noise, that even with the doors closed, it was distracting and made it hard to hear the presentation. Bathrooms are not close to the meeting rooms.

Room 1306 is broken. They use terrible pocket style doors for the bathrooms. Ours got terribly stuck if you try to close it past 3/4 of the way. As soon as we checked in, I told my girlfriend I would get the bags from the car. As I did she went to the restroom, I got back about 10 min later. As soon as I walked in the room I herd her calling for help from the bathroom. Rushed to help. Had to use a ton of for.ce to open the door. Went to the front desk to let them know of the issue. Their response was "you have to unlock the latch on the door first". I am I wood worker and have built and installed these before. Of course he didn't know that, but it kinda upset me. I know all the rooms arnt going to be like ours. But it was the response that I got from the hotel worker that will keep me from ever staying here again. Plus parking is terrible, not enough spots, and walls are thin. I'm not the pickiest person in the world. But we went here for Valentine's day weekend to get away, and kind of put a damper on our trip.

No parking due to cars taking up multiple spots, some with no parking passes. What does management do about it? Nothing. The parking that was "available" was too small for my nissan versa! Also, I get a handicap room even though I didn't request one - they gave it to me without telling me. I couldn't even shower properly. What about handicap people who actually need specialized rooms? Speaking of which, elevators were not working.

Room 1306 was ok except for the bathroom pocket door was broken. The framing was so off that when you close it past 3/4 of the way it gets terribly stuck. My girlfriend went to the restroom as I went to get bags from the car. I came back about 10 min later and she was calling for help from the bathroom. Had to use a ton of force to get it open. Told the front desk, and his response was. "You probably forgot to release the latch". I do construction, wood work and install pocket doors for a living. Won't be staying here ever again. I know all rooms arnt going to be like this, but it was the response I got from the front desk that was most upsetting. Plus parking sucks!

From the moment we arrived, thru a couple questions we had, every member of the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, odor free, and very quiet. The food was also good and room service was quick.

The Radisson served it's purpose. The two things that have the biggest influence on my hotel ratings are room cleanliness and bed comfort. That being said, the room appeared to be clean; no stains, no dirt or overlooked trash, etc. The bed was very comfortable with many pillows of varying firmness and the bedding appeared to be relatively new. The hotel was quiet. I'd assume my stay was mid-week so there weren't any noisy children or young adults being obnoxious. That's always a plus. On the downside, the carpet seemed dated, but still in good shape. The couch and small tables were beginning to show wear. The shower could've had more pressure, but was better than a trickle. Overall, I'd rate it as 3.5-4. I'd definitely stay again if the price were the same ($119).

This place is nice. At night there was some light leaking into the room. The breakfast in the modern king was great. There was a lot of choices. I did not realize the radisson was a motel, for some reason i thought our was a hotel. Nice place, and yes i would stay here again.

Good accommodations. Restuarant on site average. Bar on site great. Breakfast provided good. Since it's so close to so many great restaurant just a little out of walking distance hotel shuttle would be a nice feature.

Accommodations were fine and the area is beautiful and staff was knowledgeable of local restaurants and bars, but they were generally disorganized and unable to adapt. The restaurant we were sent to didn't open for three hours, and other agreed upon arrangements seemed to just confuse a lot of staff when asked about it. It caused a few problems.

Went to do a Promotion of my Make-up Artistry for a Bridal and Teen Expo!! My first one ever! It was a nice experience! " I got my feet wet"!! As they say, doing this for the first time by myself! The Expo was small and intimate, but it was fun for me! The Hotel was quaint, up on hill more in business industry area. The interior was nice antique reminds you of a Spanish Villa of some sort. Staff was friendly, and they provided the food/small bites spread, that was offered during the Bride and Teen Expo. Excellent experience!! Wouldn't change a thing!! Maybe except the weather! It was a bit cold and rainy that day!!
