Stayed here for one night , overall experience was good , guy named Sachin in cafe vue valley is a very professional and decent guy , all of us were very impressed by his services , rooms were clean .. all in all it was a pleasant stay .

The staff is very courteous. But the hotel is located within the vicinity of residential area.

Terrible new year stay !! Complete mismanagement by Gm Vikas kapoor & staff . had a very bad experience Of new year day 1/01/2021

Our stay at Raddison Shimla was Horrible . Stayed on 1/1/2021 in Room number 3405 . following issues faced ;

1. Water was continues leaking from shower & taps
2. Poor heating system , too cold in room
3) water in washroom was not hot .
4) No action even after calling Number of times at reception .
5 ) our luggage at our room was mixed with some others .

Moreover Since after non cheak at hotel & spoiling number of hours of requesting at reception staff to rectify faults . Only by 11:30 pm at night Gm Vikas kapoor told to shift to room which was in far of block . In Which shifting was impossible at that time of night .

Over all it was a worst experience !!

Congested. Only one restaurant. Inexperienced hotel staff who dont understand the basics of housekeeping/hospitality service

The hotel doesn t have elevator access to lobby you have to climb down firstly 2 floors to reach lobby then climb down next 2 floors to reach out rooms .. You have to climb down 3-4 floors to reach swimming pool .. Though the staff very generous & polite , food was pretty nice .. i asked them to give me a room with better view but they said all other rooms are booked .. Hotel doesn t have GYM too .. Overall this hotel doesn t seems to be a 5 star hotel !!

Excellent and enjoyable stay,

Many thanks to the general manager for making my stay very comfortable. Superb service from everyone, very friendly, outstanding food. The staff could not have been more helpful. Incredible views, comfortable beds.

One recommendation would be that the management provide short instructions in the rooms on how to operate the TV and access the appropriate channels. Not everyone is going to be able to work it out without asking for help.

Also be aware that Wifi vouchers are valid for 24hrs after which you will need another one.

Be aware this hotel, as many of them are, is on three or more levels and there is only a lift at present in block A (3 floors). To go from rooms in Block A to restaurant in Block B requires 77 steps.

Also be aware that at present the bar/cafe in block b is closed for renovation and block C (which does have a lift is also undergoing renovation but is due to open shortly).

Also be aware that there was construction work (soon to be completed ) in Block C which was disturbing sometimes to people staying in the other part of the hotel.

Access to the swimming pool at the bottom of block C requires also quite a number of steps.

Please remember to tip the staff because they really do a wonderful job

The staff is very friendly and helpful, room is good, neat and clean. Parking space is less but you don't have worry as they take care.

Good locality, good hotel ambience.
But I think they have an excellent staff, very polite ,helpful and genuinely warm.
Also I would like to mention that their chefs and support staff are extremely hospitable.
During the breakfasts, we were served food as per our specifications and I appreciate their warmth in serving food.overall a wonderful experience. Thank you team Radisson shimla.

One of the best places I have ever seen in the whole of India. The rooms are marvellous with picturesque views and the staff is incredibly kind and attentive. I can highly recommend a stay here!

One of the best hotels of shimla. Must pay a visit.

Nice location , near to Mall Road. View from swimming pool is superb. Food is normal. Rooms are very comfortable & fully equipped. Value for money. I had enjoyed a lot with my family.

Visited this hotel in December 2013. We arrived in late evening when it was not snowing. But there was snow fall in night. Beauty of this hotel in snow and outside view from the room was mesmerising. Snow being fresh it enhanced beauty of this hotel. Reception lobby and rooms and dining areas are at different levels and location ( because hilltops location). Hotel is well furnished and decorated. Food and service were good. There was cake with welcome message before we checked in the room. View of valley from the room was good.

As it's known for best services I don't need to tell anhthing

The staff is great and so is the location. But not as awesome as some of the other Radisson properties!

Great service Great support staff. Good views . Good hotel near mall road. Parking facility also available. Stunning view of mall road from the hotel. Little bit expensive but according to facilities and services,to spend money is worth here.

I booked two rooms for 1 night at Radisson, Shimla and it was so strange that they asked for full payment at checkin even when I had paid full amount online. They kept asking for the money, while making a lot of excuses. It took too much time for them to confirm the payment was done or not.
Firstly they asked for full payment in cash even after receiving it online.
Then, after sometime they said "you have to pay half the amount in cash".

After a huge argument, they admit that payment was received through online.

So this was a clear case of trying to trap the customer and asking for money which was already paid.

So based on the above facts, my experience was pretty bad.

Great ambience . Very relaxing area. Good food. Staffs are very kind and welcoming.
