Two star hotel at best. Awful experience. Had to change rooms, as the first one was in such poor repair. The second one wasn't much better. Food was ok, but that's about it
I communicated to the customer services email on your website but no body reply to me!
My name is Ali. One of your guests at London Berkshire district. My reservation was from 21st to 29th of July, 2017 at room#614.
Here, I would like to complain against the hotel manager as he declared himself to me, Mr. Maciej.
His behaviour was very rude when I did my check out which was 3 hours away from my flight.
What happened is the following:
At the night of my check out I informed the reception employee to reserve a taxi for me at 4:30 a.m. And he said it is not guaranteed to have a taxi at this time but he will try his best.
Therefore, I was afraid not to have a taxi and I did not narrow my options. Anyway, at 4:30 the same employee called me and he said the taxi is waiting you. I said to him, I need more time to be ready about 30 minute. He said if he will wait you he will charge you for his waiting. So. I said no, don't let him to wait and he said OK.
The manager was at the reception and he said you have to pay 25 pound for the cancellation. I said why? No body inform me there is a cancellation impact. He said no you have been informed through the call you received and I can recall the calls for the past three months. I said please recall it now because I know what I said. He told me no I can't recall it now. You have to pay or I will call the police!
He was threatening me to call the police three hours from my flight.
I said OK I will pay and i did, 25 pound.
When I exist the door the taxi which the hotel reserved for me was there waiting for me. I turned back to the manager and I said how come you told me you cancelled the reservation. The manager just closed the door and go back!!
I have no idea why he did like this to me. Please investigate with him why this kind of behaviour and also why he charged me.
I have the full trust you will satisfy me in your reply.
Note: two times I came to UK. The first time was in Manchester and the staff over there were professionals. The second time, I really disappointed from the staff.
Very good location
Good breakfast
Nice staff
Room is small and dated. Breakfast with little varieties. Not worth, except it is on Oxford st.
This place was okay had expected it to be a little bit more high-end being in downtown London but got the job done provided a place to sleep and a shower that didn't work properly the first night but staff did fix once I raise with them
As in all of England there is tension with the size of the rooms - they are frankly small. But breakfast is beyond praise: everything is fresh, tasty - berries, fruits !!! A feeling of comfort and home warmth. After such a number you can forgive.
Excellent location, friendly staff. Only let down by breakfast not arriving after 45mins so we left without it.
Multiple unacceptable plumbing problems (variations in water temperature, tap blocked by the basin, odors)
Not at the level we are entitled to expect.
I am not recommending this hotel. My wife had an emergency and requested nicely to use the bathroom and she was rejected. The employee advice was to use Debenhams one. I am considering that this was rood and it should not happen! I am very dissaponted.
A small hotel in a very strategic location in london. The staff are so friendly and helpful.
Nice hotel, super convenient location. This is my 2nd stay.
I particularly loved the really central location with the "bond street" subway at 50 meters ..... Friendly, professional and very helpful staff .... Beautiful room and excellent breakfast ..... What else? .. ..
Building work starting at 6:20 am and finishing at 11:50pm with loud noise clearly heard in the room combined with tiny rooms makes this the worst hotel experience for me in a London. Unbelievable.
Wow sat in the restaurant, a hotel restaurant and the poor waiter is alone, hasn t opened the till. The place has 10 people waiting for food and drink. Its 9.15am. Very strange set up with so many great places to eat and drink in London
Not very good sound proofing so can be noisy, mattresses a bit tired, sad in the middle
Only location is the best hotel facing Oxford Street.
The Disney Store is on the first floor of the same building.
Check-in counter itself from Oxford Street
At the first visit, it is located slightly north
You may be a little lost.
The facilities are old.
The water pressure in the shower is fatally weak.
Breakfast is normal.
It is also adjacent to the entrance to Bond Street Station.
Access to the subway is good, but on the other hand,
There is also a location along the Oxford St.
Street musician at night
Are singing in front of the eyes ...
It is not a quiet environment.
On the other hand, drug stores are also nearby,
Marylebone has a small restaurant and
As there are a lot of pubs, anyway location priority
Isn't it better for you?
Nicely kept, very attentive staff, decent beds and not too noisy despite central location. Breakfast could be bigger but that's about it - everything else was perfect. Would stay again, 5/5 stars. *****
The staff was great, they gave us an upgraded room. Room was cold as heating was not working. Their response was great, they gave us two heaters to heat up the room. Over all too pricey for the standard.
Good hotel, well located, meets the requirements of its category. Excellent reception staff.
Really nice hotel, great staff and proper FULL ENGLISH BREAKFAST is available. Which I eat every single time I come to this hotel.
Great service, Good beds. Great breakfast! Bond st. Underground just around the corner.
The hotel has an excellent location on Oxford above the Disney Store. Close to the underground station. Pampering breakfast, cozy and clean rooms, are cleaned twice a day. warmly recommended
Lovely hotel, very comfy, fantastic service and delicious breakfast.
Wonderful hotel ,
With great staff
The location of the hotel is great and the room had everything you need for a one night stay. However, if you want to get a good night's sleep and friendly service I can't recommend this hotel. I woke up at 4.30am to a loud alarm going off outside the hotel and after half an hour listening to it, I went down to the reception to ask for what was going on and if there were earplugs available. I was told by the receptionist there is nothing they can do and was offered a bottle of water as compensation. Luckily, I had brought headphones with me so I managed to get some sleep despite the loud alarm that continued till check out in the morning. I complained about the noise and not being able to sleep again at check out but the receptionist didn't seem to care at all. One of the worst sleeps I have had and the rude staff only made it worse.
Noisy. Very tiny room (even by London standard). Breakfast menu is very poor. It was good to sleep over for one transit night before travelling.
Exactly what I expected. Perfect for a business trip. Very kind all the staff I met.
My husband booked the Radisson blu Sussex for our 10th wedding anniversary. I rang them to inform them of our arrival time and was told the hotel is closed and that we will be transferred to Radisson blue Berkshire.
When we arrived at the hotel the staff where amazing we checked in and got our room
Only to realise there was no shower head on the shower. So what was suppose to be a perfect magical weekend wasn t so magical.
Plus there was a lot of nose from the people sleeping rough opposite the hotel all weekend
Location was excellent and the staff are amazing
The afternoon tea was delicious and the staff very attentive
Lovely hotel, great location, staff on arrival were a little unhelpful but would stay again
You cannot have a hotel with a better location if you are a tourist in the city . First step out of yeh hotel is on Oxford street . It's incredible . Tube station is in the next building. Bond Street station . 20 meters maybe . Breakfast is to kill for did not miss it even for one single day stayed there for 8 days . Great place staff is friendly and always accommodating . Always my first choice to stay .
The location is amazing and the front desk staff are great. All very helpful. The room was small but very clean. 2 pieces of advice though: check if breakfast is included in your room rate as it is expensive if not and check your bill for the 12.5% discretionary tip and ask if this can be removed if you are not happy with it. I had a great stay. Thanks!
I've stayed here in the past and it's clear they haven't done anything in the last few years to update. Its a clean hotel but a bit basic. The location is great if you love to shop and the tube is right across the street making it easy to get anywhere.
Rooms super small and uncomfortable. Great Location. It is located on one of London's main shopping boulevards, with many facilities around and 30 meters from a subway station.
Absolutely disappointed!!! and that is putting it lightly, i had a Very bad experience with the restaurant. as we visited London for a day out we decided to visit the Radisson for lunch. i ordered the lobster special with unlimited fries and salad. as i was eating my food i Noticed there was something in my salad it was a FLY!!!! Disgusting!!! as the restaurant is an enclosed environment no windows, the entrance door was on the Other side of the room, there was no flies flying around in the Radisson restaurant area. How could this be ?? the Head Chef was no where to be seeen!?!?! I will never return there again. Everyone Be Warned if you eat at the Radisson, check your Food!!!
Good location on Oxfords street next to the tube station
Great location. Very central in the city. Good staff, very approachable. We had some issues with the minibar, and they helped us straight away
Excellent location ! In the center of Oxford Street next to Bond Station.
Rooms are small but completely enough for a city break. The rooms are clean.
Great breakfast!
Good sized room, clean and well provided, friendly and efficient service at reception and room attendance. The location is convenient and appealing.
My wife and I stayed here for a few nights in December 2019. The location, 50m from Oxford Street is just perfect. In spite of being close to Oxford street the rooms are quiet and very comfortable. Of good size sporting a European Bathroom (ie Shower in Bath, although they may have some rooms with walk in showers). The beds were great, staff very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommended.
I adore this hotel... staff are very courteous and helpful, rooms are quaint and very clean..breakfast is great, the cooked English breakfast is superb and it is an excellent location a few steps from buselling Oxford St
Exceptional, structure, central, clean and with friendly, kind and very professional staff, excellent breakfast
Good hotel, ideally located for shopping. Comfortable and clean room. Breakfast too basic however.
Five star, spacious rooms with a fantastic location. The breakfast buffet is a special treat. The beds are very comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and has a high pressure shower. Reception was fast and friendly.
The location is absolutely fantastic, being situated in a lively part of London with throngs of pedestrians and the mood in the air is energetic and relaxing. Hotel is comfortably located a few streets away from a pharmacy and shopping centre as well as a convenience store for daily needs. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the free $20 drink off card the hotel offered us every night. Overall a recommended place to stay in London.
Poor breakfast. Room is smaller than Tokyo, expensive.
Great location. Everything you need is there. Just gotta do something about those awkward faucets!
A beautiful hotel with amazing interiors. Afternoon tea was the cutest, amazing food and friendly staff.
Very small room, 100m to underground in the center of Oxford St. , Reception speak two languages Arabic & English , service not perfect
Incredibly good hotel at a cheap price and so it is located in Oxford street! Delicious and comfortable when shopping street up and down
Recommendable. Excellent location. Comfortable and good attention of the staff
One of the best locations you can have for a medium level hotel in Central London, literally being able to 'smell' Oxford Street and be part of its chaos.
Ideal if you have business to do or for a shopping spree in the area, just be patient with the 'usual' small rooms of most hotels in this city.
About 3' walk from the Bond Street tube station, 10' from Marble Arch and 15' from Baker Street.
Great hotel in the sense of the word site cleanliness of me return, God willing, there is no lobby and some facilities to Ashan as well as four stars, but as a standard of accommodation and comfort I give five stars and their procedure is simple and uncomplicated dealing messages Alwats to Czech OT
Nice hotel with perfect central.London location. Room was a good size & clean! Decent bathroom, however not a fan of the shower over bath with the shape of the bathroom as near killed myself getting in & out - however this is simply a personal preference. No real interaction with staff so cant comment. Breakfast was FABULOUS! Was here on business so cannot comment on price but very comfortable stay & would recommend!
Fantastic location located in the heart of London. Staff are great and always ready to help.
The hotel is located in a very convenient location for tourists to visit for the first time in London or where there is no particular desire. Not fixed -see)
Room was acceptable size and the breakfast was very nice
Best stay in London ever - lovely hotel and awesome staff
The quality is not up to four stars; unfriendly rooms, friendly service but a little confusing.
Average as can be. When you arrive after 20 hrs flight and the front desk is so busy they cannot see a person in front of them you know the magic is gone. Arrive at breakfast for 7 and the lights are off. Inwent downstairs to check if all ok. The fact that the lights are off says to the guest.. go away until we are ready...
It is these subtle cues that speak volumea about intent. Its a staff maybe who are driven to average by many late hours and no time off...?
As a traveller..not pleasant.
Great location to the famous Oxford street. Easy access great facilities and fab service.
Loved the place and the staff. Wonderful breakfast. I still rate it 5* despite the poor window insulation and noise coming through the walls next room. It's centrally located and 30 minutes walk around to west end, Soho and so on. They will even store luggage for free after check in. I had a Nespresso machine in my room. And the eggs Benedict are out of this world.
Its was fantastic .service was superb . Will go again .
Convenient location next to Selfridges on Oxford Street and opposite the Oxford Circus Station. Standard room is on the small side but the value for money and location is too good to pass up
Good location
Just the reception at the night very annoying
As it closing early. Indian guy at the reception makes it more annoying anf behave as He is a guest not me lol
I won't come back for sure
The room was very spacious, comfortable, clean and tidy. It appears that everything I can think of for basic needs was covered within the room, except for having some toothpaste in the bathroom. However, as demonstrated by its official video introduction sent via e-mail, guests can call up the support helpline or use their sms customer support service and a staff will bring it to the room door. Room service available and very efficient. Booked a King Room with double bed for 2. From receptionists on ground level to room cleaning staff that operates from mornings to early evenings by doing room visits to replenish basic supplies and to offer cleaning to maintain hygiene, they were all very polite and certainly made sure my stay was all cared for. Even the check out process was as easy as counting 1 2 3, then off I went for my journey ahead. The lift requires key card to operate and offers some kind of security to keep out those not staying within the hotel. The location of the hotel was perfect, right at the shopping district and next to Bond St UG Station. Had many experiences in similar locations across the globe, a memorable and wonderful stay. I am proud to say, the service was absolutely outstanding and amongst the very best for what the hotel capacity can maximise for. Will return back here someday, have a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year to all the staff.
An old hotel of average quality but in the heart of Oxford
