Brilliant place for children to be challenged and think. Great interactive things for exploration. There are 8 galleries which all look at different aspects of science and engage children in learning whilst being fun and interesting. The staff who we had the pleasure of interacting with were interested and engaging. Highly recommended!

Great place for kids... science explanation and shows were really great.. you have options for the less than 3 yr old kids play area too...bit of walking... but worth... 1full day you spend there easily... you can have a combined pass with other places which makes it a bit cheaper for entry fees...

My kids 5 and 4 had a great time. We spent 5 hours there and the Perception Deception presentation is a must! The presenter was engaging and kids had a ball. Note, that there is a fee for parking.

Went during Covid so only the Mission to Mars experience was operating. Very professionally done with all staff remaining in character from start to finish. The kids loved learning, and especially the loud noises. The giant Mars model was impressive and 90mins was a good length. Free photos at the end and ability to bypass the shop without the kids knowing very much appreciated

Inspiring and engaging, great place to bring kids of all ages. With changing exhibits and dynamic presentations, this is a must see for kids.

If you are planning on coming again, look into an annual family pass.

Took my two young primary aged kids here. The kids loved all the exhibits and both them and myself found it engaging. We attended two lectures in 5 hours which to my surprise both educated and amused all of us. Very good staff. Parking is paid but cheap and the food available was pretty reasonable.

Quality exhibits, brilliantly laid out kids section that managed to keep two 3 year olds entertained for the 3 hours we were there. They also had a 50% off special for the month of February.

Cafe is limited in choice but the food you could get was ok.

Thus is a great place for all ages. With many things to do, it's great for school groups, families, tourists and more. There's a nice novelty shop after all the fun where you can take home a momento of your great time!

Science at it's best. Unique place to take it kids and the not so kids. Can easily spend a day discovering the various exhibits. Live sessions at the Japan theatre adds to the value offered. The cafe is more small and didn't have all the selections it had when we visited in January, how is it'll be back soon. Overall a great experience.

Always a delight to explore and there are so many new exhibits since my last visit that I didn't come close to seeing them all in the 4 hours I spent there. My tip for most enjoyment is to go with 1or2 children so you can see it through their eyes. Don't miss it!

Not as good or exciting as science centers elsewhere, including Melbourne, Paris, New York, London, Kuala Lumpur, etc. Will likely appeal to very young ones but teenagers may be bored. Quite pricey.

As an adult without any kids, I was able to enjoy the day looking at a variety of different exhibits and fun science experiments. Definitely a good place for families with young children. I see so many kids running around and having the time of their lives. The best thing is, its all educational. Adults don't expect to be learning anything advance here but just relax and let your inner child roam free. I liked the rocket show and the earthquake center.

Make sure you put this attraction to your list if you are visiting Canberra. Heaps of hands on activities and the best place to learn about science. Spend at least 4 hours in Questacon if you have child(ren) because there are many stations with different activities. The shop is, quite disappointingly, very expensive and full of ridiculous and what-the-heck-is-this stuff!

Great place to keep the kids entertained for hours. Loses one star for being expensive. $50 for a family of 4 would be more reasonable, considering parking is about $15 as well. Cafe is reasonably priced & while limited options was good quality & tasty. Can get very busy with the school groups.

If you're in Canberra (or deciding to go) and you haven't put this place on your list to visit, then you need to do so now. It's a fun learning center with games and interactive activities in the fields of nature and science. Great for people of all ages as there is something for all. You could typically spend around 3hrs easy if you take your time in each section.

This is a wonderful Canberra attraction and will delight young and old. Architecture and design is amazing so make sure to use both ramps. Staff are knowledgeable and very engaging so try to get to the presentations and demonstrations. The cafe is ok so bring a picnic if you can.

So much fun! We went with a 10 month old and two 3 year old boys. Bubs had fun in some of the rooms, the older boys loved touching everything and learned lots. Everything is so interactive and just a lot of fun. Great kids area where we spent a lot of time, good change room and feeding facilities too. Will come again next time we are in Canberra.
