Great places with so many good fun activities to do and learn
So much fun and education for all ages. Lovely surroundings, lots of food options around this location and nearby.
As a visitor to Canberra Questacon is a great stop for the kids and kids alike.
Questacon is science in action - a hands on science centre with so many activities there is bound to be something to keep everyone entertained. The children will not even realise thy are learning.
The 360 swing was quite popular for those over a certain height and weight and the younger kids will love Whoosh a maze of tubes which you feed floating scarves into the hole at the bottom and are sucked through the tubes and shoot out at the top to float back down. Both included in the entry price.
Get in early to avoid queues for the more popular activities.
Excellent place for children of all ages to learn about science :-)
Came here many years as a child, and it's while many of the exhibits are designed to facilitate learning for the younger ones, they're still fascinating today!
Great for kids parties and to take interstate visitors
Fantastic place for kids of all ages. So much to see and do. You can't fit it all into one day!
Great for the kids. Get an annual membership for value for money.
Very educational for kids all ages it is all hands on well worth a look
So many interesting exhibits that you can touch, learn and get involved in. Love Questacon!
As always an incredible place. Spent two full days with lots of fun. The free fall is incredible. Don't miss it!
My visit with my kids was like enter into a new world. Lots of fun and knowledge. Big car park. Almost spend 3 hours. Love this place.
Lots to do for families with a great kids area for young ones
Great place to visit. The guides are helpful and the exhibits are really well constructed. Parking is normally paid and entry is reasonably priced.
I think visiting Questacon is inspirational and a way to revisit the past , present and future all at the same time. So many questions, so many opportunities.
Fun place to be in Canberra. This is a must visit place in Canberra for kids.
Definitely right place to bring kids and enjoy this experience with them. Lot's of activities and awesome free fall slide!
Love this place! Still as good as I remember it was 25 years ago. The kids loved it too! #1 destination in Canberra.
Amazing! Thought provoking, student friendly, positive atmosphere, and overwhelmingly educational!
Such a great place, makes me want to live in Canberra again.
This is a great place for all the family. We particularly like the changing and special displays.
A vibrant experience with lots of activities kids and adults a like can get involved with.
Great place for whole family that can take up a good part of the day. Just remember to check the parking metre during your stay as it is patrolled.
Definitely rate this 5 for children, but not that much for adults to be stimulated by. Especially with so many children running around "supervised"
Visited during school holidays - too busy to check out all the exhibits.
If you're in Canberra you need to go here. It is so interesting and there's heaps of cool stuff there.
Gosh we loved our visit. Easy to loose hours here. The kids had so much fun we had to go back two days later. Worth the effort!
Great for kids. If you don't have kids, beware they are everywhere!
The whole family loved Questacon, everyone had fun for hours.
Kids love it, even when parents are bored of the exhibitions.
Always great for kids of all ages! Hand sanitizer everywhere!
Excellent place for educating your kids about the world of science and mathematics.
Great fun for kids and adults learning about science
Very good. Very entertaining for the young fellas and even the adults. Very informative.
Interesting for the kids. No guide though which is a big minus
This is our 2nd visit our 10 7 & 5 yrs old boys loved it. Educational with the aspects of fun just what kids need to learn. Thank you
Questsacon needs methods to manage poorly behaved children.
I m pretty disappointed. Poor management.
pros: great place not too over crowded, especially for school excursions
cons: if u want to buy something good in the gift shop, i guess u should bring 60 dollars most things there are rip offs
Dedicate a day for this..don't club it with something else and do lie down under the giant moon...
I hope you do open another Questacon in Townsville, Qld. We would love to have you!!!
The most amazing Science Museum for kids. Highly recommend. Our family spent the whole day there. You can get a special discount if you are a MASS member.
Ok place to spend a few hours with the kids. Lots of exhibitions and interesting free shows. Also lots of feral parentless kids running amok.
Pleasant experience. Alot of interesting and interactive activities to do. Van easily take up 4 hours of your day. The entry price is $23 per adult, well worth it. Must visit on your Canberra trip. Tip- wear comfortable joggers/runners, plenty of walking to do.
Fantastic place for both adults and kids. Lots of excellent interactive exhibits that demonstrate science concepts for people of all ages. They also change exhibits and themes every so often. Highly recommended.
If you live in Canberra you must have a membership to this place. We have been back many times and the kids can t get enough of it.
Spent half a day with the kids... Good for them and adults as well!
Great for all ages. 5 year old son loved it! Must visit esp if you have kids
Need to spend more time there as 2hrs weren't enough. Kids everywhere though!
I have visited the Questacon several times and I have been thoroughly impressed with the displays and interactive systems here. This is a wonderful place to take any of any age and they are guaranteed to learn something new. The staff are very friendly and well informed. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Canberra!
Great place for kids, fun way to learn different things. Enjoy every minute there.
Went at night, enjoyed the food stalls outside. Loved the fire show. Went last year and again this year. My son enjoyed the free fall, but for me one visit is enough
A very well set up educational facility which provides a bit of fun.
Had a great time, heaps of interactive activities to keep the kids amused.
Good place, 6 metre drop super fun. Except really unreasonable rule that if you accidentally slip off the bar then they kick you off the attraction. I saw multiple children crying after loosing grip and slipping off the 6 metre drop then being kicked off because the bar is too slippery. smh. They also removed the earthquake house which was the best attraction. Lots of things there are boring and not worth wasting your time.
yo i went here a few years ago it's like scitech on steroids BABY!! lol
The lightning is very cool. I liked the flying game.
i haven't been there yet butt i kno iz velly gudddd 11/10 stars, butt der r morr starz in da skye, so or da sterz in da skah wood be mah rateing.
Absolutely must if you have kids. It is great to see the joy and curiosity on my young nephew and niece's face. Loved it
Been here as a kid and then as an adult - still incredibly fun! Highly reccomend for as in day out for everyone.
Fantastic introduction to science for kids. Something for all ages.
