Questacon is full of amazing interactive experiences, which will certainly entertain you, or your kids. I went there over the Easter holidays and by far I was blown away by the material and content that Questacon had. Definitely a highlight of Australia.

Fantastic place to take your kids and they will have some great few hours of their life:-) So much fun and learning for everyone. Weekend parking is free. Cafe inside. You can have a walk by the lake afterwards.

Had a fun packed few hours here (2 adults), we learned a lot and brought out our inner child at the same time. Really helpful and enthusiastic staff, we loved the talk about the musical instruments. (Will never watch Star Wars in the same way agin!)

This is a really nice science center. The staff members are great, from the person at the ticket counter to the info booth to the engineering show emcee. We have younger kids, and their area 6 is perfect for little ones - plus kids under 4 are free, so it isn't too expensive. One warning, they don't necessarily monitor the exhibits that well - we went in one area with what appeared to be a school group where older boys were literally tackling each other to the ground within feet of my 3-year-old. We left quickly after that. We had a great time until then, though.

Kids liked it but some rooms just didn't excite them at all. Alot was out of order the day we visited so that was very dissapointing. There were maybe 4 really cool things that they loved and then one really cool room. But because it was the best room it was so full we could not get to any of the activities.

Passionate !! There are special prices for the family! Each room has a theme and is fully interactive. There is a lot of school going on an excursion, it's worth keeping an eye on and entering before them in the classrooms so you can see everything without so much children. We adults also enjoyed a lot! Has area for babies too!

Absolutely an amazing place for kids. Lots of activities to do and learning opportunities for future scientists. Need atleast 4-5 hrs to explore all the 8 galleries. Staff is very corporative and knowledge. If you visiting Canberra this is highly recommended.

Great place to bring children. The experiments entertain, amaze and teach children. I would recomend this place to anyone who wants to be able to just sit back while their children tire themselves out running from experiment to experiment. The cafe serves good fast food and the shop has a gift for everyone.

Probably the most entertaining place for kids. The place needs more marketing. Never heard of it and did not come up when I searched for things to do in Canberra, someone recommended it. My son along with three other kids were entertained the whole four hours. There is so much to know and so much to do there.

Best science museum ever! Our kids (6 & 9 y/o) loved it and we ran out of time exploring all the amaxing exhibits.... Real lighting, earthquake room, moon gazing, tornadoes, skulls, colours, gravity.. the list goes on and on. Make sure you have at least 4 hours up your sleeve. Melbourne science works does not come close. For a family ticket we paid $70 (2 adults and up to 3 kids). Will be back.

Perfect for young and older children. Good guidence on what questions to ask to stimulate your child. Fun for the adults as well - lots of tactile and intellectual fun. Cafe's no good head across the road to the national library and book plate.

We spent 4 hours here & would have easily have loved to stay a lot longer. There is just a mind boggling endless amount of experiences for everyone from singles to couples to families. Stunning and endless activities to see, try & do for everyone. The only downside is you also have to pay for car parking anywhere in Canberra surrounding suburbs including grocery shopping which is a major downside.

Questacon was amazing!! We were already more than entertained by the outdoor exhibit at the entrance. The exhibits were very interactive and informative for children and adults alike. Would recommend to everyone for a nice change of pace from all the museum's etc

Had a lot of fun here on their Little Explorers day for 0-5 year olds. We'd been previously, and found it a little too old for our 2 year old. But the extra activities, and the focus on littlies made it such a great day. Would definitely do that again.

The music show was a highlight. The performer on that day was amazing with the kids. He rolled with the crazy and got the kids actively involved. My boy was enthralled, nearly sat still the entire time. Just a great show.

No trip to Canberra with the kids would be complete without a trip to Questacon. If you don't have kids, go along and discover your inner child. Alternatively you can opt for Questacon After Dark and discover something different about Questacon.

Go with your kids. It's value for money for both adults and kids. Very interactive and hands on exhibits. Great staff, nice cafe. Look into the shop only to get an idea of what's available in the name of science. If you like it, order online!

A very fun place to visit, but it has lost one star for me because they got rid of the best part of Questacon, The Earthquake House! The place still has a lot of fun things inside though.
You must visit Questacon when visiting Canberra!
